Thanks.

Turns out I had heard about it before but hadn't heard the details.

It's surprising how many ways there are of copying JD wrongly Wink

yeah, sad but true.

looks like you have no other choice than to get back into the pit to safe us all  Cool *pretty please*

[...] possible ways to recoup funds later for investors such as SatoshiCarnival is doing.

I missed that one. What's the story there? Did they get exploited too somehow?

any updates when it will be back and running?

Hi, I'm just going through and looking at bets that need refunded. It's going to take a bit of time to make sure everything is 100% correct but hopefully not too much longer.

hi dean!

after finishing your investigation, could you give us a summary of that dice incident prior to this one?

some user mentioned it in the trollbox, saying there was a another flaw some months ago related to some outsourced dice code.

he also emphasized that you personally reimbursed investors, just in case someone feels I'm trying to spread FUD  Wink

*bumpy bump*  Cheesy just to make sure that the question won't be missed.

As we migrate all credentials over to the CasinoBitco.in Authentication model, PeerBet users will inherit 2FA as well as other perks like our best-in-class affiliate program.

Timeframe for this work effort is most likely within the next 3 months as we complete the redesign of PeerBet (screenshots were included in our investor's report posted on Havelock Investments)

any chance for 2FA to be implemented? should be standard security imo.

thanks a lot for that update! good luck with the migration  Cool

June 20th marks the 1st birthday for Just-Dice.

To celebrate we're having a 2 BTC poker freeroll at SealsWithClubs for Just-Dice regulars old and new.

Log in to your regular account, and type /poker in the chat box to see if you qualify for a free ticket.

There's also a 0.5 bounty on the head of both doog and Deb - knock either of them out to claim your 0.5 BTC prize.

6pm PST | 9pm EST | 2am GMT | 3am CET

For chat moderators of both DD and JD there's a 2nd freeroll an hour later, with another 2 BTC prize pool and two more 0.5 BTC bounties.

See you there!  Smiley

Too bad I don't play poker. Maybe some game related to JD would be more appropriate for birthday? May I suggest something like "first user to win 1% bet after the birthday timestamp wins ..." something?

what about some back alley dicing?  Grin http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/81772202/

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lvs3JLMwsw

did the amount of invested coins in the site´s bankroll just change from 41k coins to 34k coins?
Any reason for this major withdrawal of investors?

Probably someone taking profit - we want this actually - the smaller the max profit the more smaller bets - we want as many small bets as possible - each gives the edge a chance to take it's tiny little nip out of the money...

Plus - the fewer investors the more pro rata we remaining ones get! :-)

I completely agree with the advantages you mentioned.

Nevertheless something is weird about this 7k coins, because the major investors didn´t change according due to the stats in Deb´s blog:
http://just-dice.blogspot.de/

There isn´t a single investor which could withdraw that many coins from the site´s bankroll. It has to be either a bunch of investors taking profits or
the site bankroll display is messed up.

did you consider the possibility that a single big investor has split his investment onto multiple accounts? maybe for safety reasons.
