Just won some BTC there. Fairly a good site. Cheesy

I found some minor bugs, not very important. anyway, is there a bug bounty?

there are no fixed terms for a bug bounty afaik, but I'm pretty sure you'll get something for reporting bugs  Smiley

How long is the bankroll turnover rate here? Is the owners identity know? Is he trustworthy? (with regards to investments).

what do you mean by bankroll turnover? do you mean the average wagered per day for the site? if so, I can only guesstimate, but the last days the wagered spould have been at least around ~25btc/day.

the owner is anonymous and as far as I know prefers to keep it that way.

regarding his trustworthiness: that's hard to answer - all I can say is that the site has been around for a few month now and so far there hasn't been anything strange or fishy imo.

site seems stuck/frozen again, sorry for that. already informed admin.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 04, 2015, 04:34:52 PM
Any serious investor will figure out how to generate a cold address.

You are thinking way to rational. Your answer might be true for serious (large) investors, but not for the smaller ones. Some of them are just waiting till they can easily and safely store their XMR on their PC's. All these small till medium size investors could still produce large buy pressure.

I also think there are plenty of investors with serious money who are not tech heads.

Agree. IIRC rpietila (and maybe other big holders as well) has a lot of wealthy friends, who might be interested in investing, but are not really teach heads (and thus capable to figure out how to generate a cold adress, or just don't want to invest the time into it to figure it out). I think the time consuming factor, the time it takes to figure out how to store/generate a cold address is also a reason for currently not investing. Some people just want to buy XMR, download the GUI and store them.

EDIT: If I am wrong rpietila, please correct me.

such a FAQ is already existant here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721045.0 as well as here http://xmrmonero.com/?q=faq-page#t7n28  Smiley

just to be clear here - store/generate a cold address means opening simplewallet and writing down the seed words on a piece of paper?

i think a dedicated page with information how to store monero is a good idea. something like glorified FAQ with one question: how to generate a paper wallet for complete dummies.

a step up would be a device like
https://www.bitcointrezor.com/
which has recently gone open source
https://cryptojunction.com/trezor-open-source-community-outcry/
it should be possible to write a monero wallet for such a device

correct would be be [mo.ne.'ra.no.], see first sentence of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto_phonology#Stress_and_prosody

Bitcoin users are called "Bitcoiner(s)".
Litecoin users are called "Litecoiner(s)".
etc.

How are Monero users called?

Is there already a cool name/term? Or do we need to create/find one? Obvious best via a community decision.

Monerian.

or if there's Esperanto rules regarding this, that would pertinent. Monerita?

-an (O->O): member, adherent, participant of the root.
      komitato = committee               komitatano = a committee-member
Budho = the Buddha                 budhano = a Buddhist
                        ano = a member

therefore esperanto would be "Monerano" imo, see http://donh.best.vwh.net/Esperanto/affixes.html#nouns

OHH ok , when does his road trip finish and thanks for getting in touch with him

I don't know yet, but will ask him. btw I'm pretty sure that I'm not in the same timezone as him, so there's a delay in communication sometimes.

the site is not working. only ba thing about this site, is like i said op is not responsive.
...

If you check previous posts, you'll notice that OP always responds to queries. Just don't expect him to be on the forum 24/7.

It's not a first time this happens, so let's not panic just yet  Wink

Hopefully, they'll get this fixed permanently as they said some time ago:

Really sorry for the inconvenience caused, this is a connection issue from our server provider.
This issue will be our current number one priority, we might have to move / upgrade our server to a better one.

Good support and funny name, SAFEdice Grin

admin is curently on an unplanned trip abroad, I'm in contact with him via some kind of mobile msg app. he's able to make sure that the hw is refilled regularly etc.

the current problem with the site however is still due to the server problems pawel cited above. changing the provider is therefore still high priority on admins todo list and will be the first thing to take care of when he returns.

right now(in the next hours) he can't do much due to being on the road, but usually that issue fixed itself so far after some time(happened before).

if there is anything urgent I can try to forward your msg to admin, or in case you're one of the bigger investors at SD I'm happy to give you his contact details in the app we use for staying in touch.

Very generous, could I see this transaction in the block chain or confirm donation from a developer?  If privacy is a concern ( ha! ) feel free to do the second, or PM me.

I see this value as currently 800.6 XMR.

I just checked the donation adress from the OP: https://blockchain.info/address/1FhnVJi2V1k4MqXm2nHoEbY5LV7FPai7bb

there is a 1btc donation showing up with 2 confirmations atm  Smiley
