If you're a total noob at programming, you could always go here: http://coingen.bluematt.me/ and then you could hire a programmer, possibly even on this forum to update it for you after you make your coin.

Creating a cryptocurrency requires lots of experience in C++ and of course a good knowledge of cryptography so you can make genuinely unique coin and not just a clone, also, if you have no programming experience, I wouldn't recommend making a cryptocurrency unless you have at least a bit of money for hosting etc.
CoinGen is shit.

It's something to get them started though and cheaper than paying for a personal programmer.

I pose the same question when it comes to the death penalty that I pose to people who believe in god, what if you're wrong?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_exonerated_death_row_inmates

No, I don't believe in the death penalty, no matter the crime, I've had this argument with people before, it amazes me the lengths people will go to justify to themselves and others killing an unarmed person, it also amazes me how like the U.S Iran is but you will find all sorts of people ready to jump to the defence of the U.S when they do something wrong.

No one is sentenced to death, unless the judge is 100% sure about his crime. In the past mistakes might have happened. But with the advancement of technology, right now it is impossible to blame an innocent person for heinous crimes such as murder and rape.

Bullshit, there are people out there who genuinely believe a women can't rape a man etc. which means all humans will naturally be biased to a certain viewpoint, none of what you said is true especially since a judge is a human being and is capable of making mistakes and then there's the fact that technology can always be tampered with.

I think this is a rumour being spread to try and scare people away from downloading torrents, that said I am pretty paranoid about the anti-copyright lobby these days, I've been downloading and haven't seen my computer behaving weirdly or anything, mind you, I mostly download from private torrent sites and trusted users on piratebay so.

Well done TaunSew, you've just understood the economy.
4626  Other / Off-topic / Re: No game of thrones tonight :( on: May 26, 2014, 07:38:09 AM
Well I read a spoiler about the fight but I enjoy Game of Thrones for how coherent it is and the quality of it much like anything else, if a story relies purely on spoilers then it's really not that good in the end.

It's like if somebody told me everything about Baldurs Gate 2, in the end, it's the way the story tells itself and the personalities of the characters' etc. that matter rather than knowing what happen itself.
4627  Other / Meta / Re: Sorting out users with a negative rating on: May 26, 2014, 06:15:11 AM
That would be nice, it would also be great if we could have filters on all these Bitcoin stock websites that get rid of mining companies, I'd like to see some real companies to invest in at some point.
4628  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Italy to add drug trafficking, prostitution to GDP figures on: May 26, 2014, 05:54:20 AM
I feel it like zerohedge does. The wealthy are doing anything to make it look like the economies are all recovering and prospering. Politicians see it as wow we don't have to actually improve the economy we can just push some paper and buttons on a calculator to make the economy "grow"

You're right, this is an attempt to fix numbers and nothing else guys, you know we've had a tactic in the UK and other countries for dealing with unemployment? What governments do is either get them to leave or they park them in 'employment' agencies long enough that it makes the report look good and then they dump the problem on the next party to get elected so they can claim credit for 'fixing' the economy and the stupid part is, people keep falling for it.

4632  Other / Off-topic / Re: No game of thrones tonight :( on: May 26, 2014, 05:13:13 AM
Oh for fucks sake! I thought it was just me! I knew they were going to drag this on because they know how anticipated the trial by combat episode is, I'm starting to lose interest now if they're going to keep dragging it for the sake of getting everybody hooked and waiting.

I'm beginning to think they won't have anymore interesting ideas after the trial by combat and are scared that everybody will get tired of the series.
4633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Darkwallet - Taunting the gov regulators.. hmmm is it really a good idea on: May 25, 2014, 11:36:24 AM
There is a fine line between harmless banter and poking a bear. The last thing we need in this community is extremists of any stripe. I like dark wallet because frankly it is no ones business how I choose to allocate my bit coin and it is certainly no ones business how much I have. I wish the developers would spend more time thinking than talking.

To some (many?) that statement alone makes you an extremist.

I think I'm right in saying that there are those of us who would consider being called an extremist or a criminal by people who advocate the use of high tech weaponry against unarmed populations a compliment.
4634  Economy / Economics / Re: You work your butt off, and a rich dude does nothing and gets rich - how? on: May 25, 2014, 11:10:32 AM
lol OP, you're pretty late in realising what's going on Tongue Technically the rich aren't getting richer, all that's increasing is the amount of paper they hold unless they happen to be buying up lots of investments and goods that will hold their value, but even then, it's not really becoming 'worth' more, it's just getting more expensive.

Bitcoin is a classic example, I don't believe it's actually worth anything more than it was a couple of years ago, I just think that our currencies have been devalued so much it's made it much easier/cheaper to buy stuff with Bitcoin rather than paper money, this is also part of the real reason that Bitcoin has received so much hate, it's because it's making the bankers look really bad.
4635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like I am screaming "get off the beach" before a tsunami but no one cares on: May 25, 2014, 10:20:40 AM
That's the honest truth about taxation and the like, people like to pretend it's not what it is and cover it up, but you can't ignore the mathematics and the middle classes are always the ones who get taxed the most and I'm convinced it's because they have the fewest votes and least lobbying power, but I'd need data from several countries to back this up before I say anything for definite.
4636  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sen. Rand Paul to take the Senate Floor Wednesday to Contest Drone Policy on: May 25, 2014, 10:16:06 AM
Rand Paul obviously hates America and wants Iran to invade our shores.

It is a good thing Ron Paul did not win or we would all be speaking Iranian right now.

True story.

Fuck off Loyalist.
4637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like I am screaming "get off the beach" before a tsunami but no one cares on: May 25, 2014, 10:11:18 AM
Money and banking in the U.S is as much of a religion as Christianity, of course people are going to attack something like Bitcoin because it basically flies in the face of everything people like that believe in, I consider this era our financial renaissance now and just like with the people there who believed in mathematics we also are going to get persecuted for explaining something that is blatantly obvious to anyone who will willingly pay attention.

4639  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Some of The Craziest Religions Out There? on: May 24, 2014, 07:15:49 PM
Actually, Buddhism is one of the few major religions out there that specifically denies creator gods.

I'm personally in the position of not giving a fuck, I take the "No Gods, No Masters" saying of Anarchism pretty seriously, I couldn't care if the fucker came down here and told me to worship him, I'd still tell him to bugger off.

I believe I saw a comment on the internet that's really appropriate for this moment.

Troll, troll, troll your boat, gently down the stream...
