Gambling for me is only a kind of entertainment. I don't take it seriously or else I will wreck my own life. Smiley

Good for you. If you can keep it that way, do so. Do not be tempted to bet more when you feel you are on winning streak and very lucky.and always pace it so you don't get addicted. There are people who get addicted even when started just for fun. If you get addicted, your life will be wrecked.
4642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 16, 2016, 05:18:58 AM
What is the most interesting thing about this thread is that no one said - that he is already rich. No one. Is everyone here really so poor?
We don't have rich gamblers reading this thread? It is something I thought about and it is really depressing...

Actually there is one that I read before admitting that he is rich and will still gamble. I just can't find it because there is so many pages already. But that the only one I read, I do not know if there are others that I missed. If most of gamblers posting here are poor, maybe it is the result of gambling too much.

Most of the people who gamble are poor whose aiming to get rich. So it I were rich, I mean born rich I will not gamble anymore. I will just maybe travel all around the world and stick with my women. LOL

Womanizing can have the same disastrous effect as gambling. But if that is your poison, then go for it. We cannot say that rich person will not gamble because I do know rich people addicted to gambling. I think whether rich or poor, a person can have a tendency to gamble. It all depends on the nature of the person.
4643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: April 16, 2016, 05:13:37 AM
It depends on each person, some people are getting rich because of gambling and some people are becoming poor because of gambling so there is no conclusion that you can say.
But the chance is higher that it can wreck your life than that it can fix your life because the chance of losing is also much higher.

Yeah, house edge puts the odds against you. So if you want a sure way to fix your life, get a job, work hard and save and invest your money. Don't risk your money on gambling or rely on it to make your life better. Hard work and determination will fix you not the lure of easy money on gambling. Gambling will just make you poor not rich.
4644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: April 16, 2016, 05:10:17 AM
Gambling can make you cry for sure, I really have no doubts about that because if you lose a big amount it will really not make your day.
You would literately hate your life because of the bet you made, I never had big problems to be honest, never gambled much.
Yes, the more chances at here is for to lose your bitcoins or any other currency at gambling, so anyone who is going to involve in gambling will definitely cry one day, as the earning at there is much lesser than loss.
how if the person is aware of all the risks and has been prepared with the worst possible? like a big defeat or something?
of course they are already prepared to be it all. and is he will cry for it?
I think if you already know the risks. defeat is common and not worth to cry

There is still a chance you will cry even if you are prepared for it. When you are already too addicted and lose everything to gambling, friends, love ones and money, you will cry for sure. When you are penniless because of gambling, that is a sure way you'll cry.

GS Warriors will win back to back titles so they will repeat Cheesy

Well the chance is pretty high but the ball is round and NBA is surprising. Where amazing happens.

If they will win in the Western Conference then I go to GSW at championship.

Pretty much a given that GSW would win the championships IN CASE they win the Western conference. The question now is who will be able to match the GSW in the west. HOU? I think not. We all saw how Harden flopped the last game in the conference finals. OKC? Good but I think not enough. I've read some analysis that it might be the CLIPS or SAS that can match. What do you guys think?

No doubt it's Spurs. Clips will not a stand in GSW. Clippers performance against GSW this season is really not interesting. They dissapoint some of their fans. At the early stage of the season, Clippers are one of the expected team alongside SAS and CAVS that can stop the GSW ownage but it doesnt happen.

I agree with this. And they have already shown us that they can defeat gsw in a game. The question is, can spurs win in gsw court? I think, who first win on the road, will win the conference. But still, the ball is round and anything can happen.

4647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: April 16, 2016, 04:36:19 AM
If you are unable to win games on gambling and are losing your money on there, and want to stay away from gambling thenjoin some services where you can earn some money without any bet or lose and join some games where you do not have pay for it to play.

This is a good idea. By doing so, you get the same effect or enjoyment you get in gambling but not the bad ones. This will remove losing money while still enjoying winning and earning money. The person must just focus on earning online like doing signature campaign or doing services.
4648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 16, 2016, 04:31:34 AM
Another reason why people become addict in gambling because of the thinking to become rich immediately and when lose, they will not stop playing until those lost money will return back.

Yes, the lure of instant money and big jackpots can easily tempt anyone to do gambling. And once you tasted the wins, you get hooked and addicted easily. So, if you don't want to be a gambling addict, don't ever try it even just for fun.
4649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: April 15, 2016, 02:38:48 PM
The effect of exercise on your overall well being cannot be overstated. When you find yourself giving in, go to the gym. It will take your mind off it, and can improve mental health long term, you might just overcome your habit.

That is true. Instead of gambling, go for an exercise. It will keep you in shape, remove the bulging tummy and keeps you healthy. And you won't lose money doing it. Unlike gambling, sitting all day behind a computer is a complete opposite of exercise.
4650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 14, 2016, 11:39:37 PM
Gambling is very addicting this is caused by the fact its easy to earn money with it in a relative short time if you have luck of course.
If you do not have this luck its gonna be very difficult of course.

I do not think people are getting addictive because of the profit they can make, I think they are getting addicted because they are enjoying gambling and later on get addicted, its similar as a game addiction.

What makes you enjoy gambling the most is the money involved. People loves money and winning it easily thru gambling makes them addicted to it. Easy money is really a good reason to get addicted to gambling. But when you started losing, it will easily be the source of miserable life.
4651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: April 14, 2016, 11:34:22 PM
emotion problem is the main issue of losing while gambling :/

there was once im up to +$200 on esport matches, then later i lose 10, 20, and finally i all in and lose :9

Yup emotion can surely change the way you are playing in gambling, and one of it is frustration and anger towards the bet that you did that lose, I think in doing gambling just take it easy and I think losing in the small bets are OK and can't make you frustrated about your lose because it is just a small amount.
It is your own fault if you started to gamble, you can of course gamble but not until you become poor just play a little and dont give to much money out with gambling.
Just play with some small amounts and that will be also enough to give you fun and the opportunity to play.

Once you play in gambling ang you won a lot. Greediness will attack you! Haha.
I agree with this, Just play with some small amounts once you go to a casino, etc.
Gambling is so addictuve! It makes us fun and enjoy. You will win, and you will lose too.

As long as you are satisfied betting and winning small amounts, I guess it will not be that harmful. But once you are not satisfied anymore of small winnings and started betting big, it will be bad. That would start winning big but also losing big. And if you encounter losing streak bigtime you will surely cry.
4652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: April 14, 2016, 11:30:15 PM
Most people don't see this ultimate conditions; Wreck or fix. But for the ones they do 99% see it as a wreck, while the others can be happy they eventually would be lucky enough to win big while gambling.
you know people who have experienced an acute addiction. they will not be aware that their lives have been destroyed. he lived from gambling and continued gambling. he will not be thinking about anything other than gambling.
but so far I have never seen people who are like?
are you ever seen ?

I've seen this around my house. he really addicted acute. even he has sold everything, for the sake of playing gambling. but I do not know what happened to him this time, whether in prison, insanity or death due suicide.

I've heard a lot of stories like that, addicts of gambling sell their everything for just gambling, they can't stop theirselves from it even though they lose all they have but they still gamble for the greed of winning big, but they don't see the loss they are facing at the moment.

Sadly that is what addicts tend to do. They do not care for the consequences of their actions as long as they satisfy their urges. And mostly, the most affected by their actions are the people around them. That would wreck families and relationships.

The Warriors are ready for the Play Offs they just have beaten the Spurs. But only the Warriors are ready, have you guys seen Lebron's stats over the last 10 games. He is totally ready for the Play Offs.

I just hope he does not choke on the playoffs. Sometimes he get frustrated and choke on end game. That is his bad habit. Anyway, all teams included in the playoffs are ready. They should be. Hoping for San Antonio to win the conference even if GSW is the stronger team. Spurs vs Cavs on the finals.

Talking about low risk vs high loss:

I lost 15 Bitcoin after losing my secondary password for my satoshidice account, admins won't help.

Thought it might be safe to invest along with a bankroll of 4,000 Bitcoin at the time but i was wrong.   Sad

That is so sad. Why would admin did not help you recover your password or your bitcoin? 15BTC  is not a small amount. If you are a regular player, they should prioritize you. It is bad for them to lose a regular. Don't go back there, invest your coins on something that can earn you more and with admins that is accomodating when problems arise.
4655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 13, 2016, 03:25:04 AM
I would still gamble because I really like gambling and I also enjoy it if I gamble.
If you are rich it could also be negative and you can also stop because of it, some people gamble for profit and most likely these people would not gamble anymore.

Once a gambler always a gambler. If you are a gambler when you have only a little money, you'll still be a gambler when you have much. It is already in your system and it is hard to eradicate. Having a lot of money will not remove that.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Spurs have played very poorly in some games and I think Oklahoma is not a difficult opponent for the San Antonio Spurs but for safe I will make two bets on this game under 204.5 points and San Antonio Spurs - 9.5 points.

The under bet is good. you can always bet under on a spurs game. I don't think spurs will win this game. They are already happy in their spot and lately they show no real effor to win a game. They are more focus on resting their starters and prepping for the playoffs.

So far so good, now in the third quarters the total points are under. But Spurs lose around 9 points, i think OKC win on this match. Better live bet on spurs right now,

That is exactly what I am thinking too. It is like if they have a chance to win this game, they'll go for it. If not, then it's okay, let the secondary player play and rest the starters. They are letting this go so they can be healthy and prepared for the playoffs.

Nothing's at stake anymore for the Spurs. They'll rest this out and prep for the showdown VS Dallas/Portland/Memphis.  Remember last year? They bowed out first round. They wouldn't let that happen again.

If i am rich, i will confidently answer it no because you can give help or donations to poor people instead of losing it in gambling. By the way i am already rich and no need to become richer.

Good for you. You have a better perspective of what to do and what not. Not a lot of people will choose to help or donate. Most will choose to buy something that can entertain them like gambling. But you are different.
4659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 12, 2016, 03:39:18 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
Agreed , Trust me or not , i am new in gambling and every day i start and losing btc ,

If you keep losing in gambling then you should take a break from it and dont make it a habit because in the long run you will lose a lot of money.

Don't just take a break on it, get away from it. Quit gambling. Everyone knows gambling is addicting and too much of something is bad. Gambling will not just lose you money, it can also break apart your relationships with others. Quit while it is still early and while you can.
4660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: April 12, 2016, 12:45:12 PM
I lost around 0.01 btc I think. It was all hard-earned money. It's not that much in other countries but for a teenager like me living in a third world country, it's a little big. I was outrageous and went all in in bustabit. Worst mistake of my gambling life.

Sometimes you just have to YOLO on your bets and hope for a win. That is the easiest way to double your money and also the easiest way to lose it all. Unfortunately for you, you went all in and lost. It happens all the time and you just have to be prepared if it does. If you can't do that, stop gambling before you get depressed.
