4661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2020, 09:28:30 PM
They stopped that and they said it was too risky. That was a big hit. Now the big online market took bitcoin off its site. The logo is not there anymore Sad Why though? They just sell the bitcoin as soon as they get it?

Yes. Most merchants accepting crypto-payments are using an API or exchange service to convert their received bitcoin payment into fiat.

They won't hodl these coins. Those crypto-payments they received are part of their circulated money in their business that cover all the cost of their operations e.g. paying their supplier, the salary of their employees, deliveries, general spendings like site maintenance, office rent, electricity, etc.

Unless these merchants are crypto-enthusiast, then maybe there are few who will do that but I doubt.

I can't access OP shared site; "Error 1020 - This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks."
4662  Economy / Economics / Re: Lives vs Economy -- sad truth on: June 21, 2020, 11:44:18 PM
The sad truth is that some of them are not getting attention from the hospitals, why? because they prioritize a person based on its age, why? because it would be more worthy if you save a productive person over an old and weak person.

Not true. Don't generalized it just because of the story you shared about your friend.

Based on your story, I don't see how it was linked to the country's economy just because your friend's aunt didn't prioritize by the hospital as she was 47 years old. There are really cases like that wherein people are not being accommodated by the hospital even before the pandemic virus so just imagine how worst it is now to the point that they can't entertain all even that's an emergency.

If you have concerns, then complain to the authority on how that hospital treats your aunt's friend.

1) Their individual performance.

Stats-wise, CJ Perez will be the winner. An average 20+ points per game as a rookie is an impressive performance He is also the first option of Columbian DYIP that also contributes to his good offensive stats. But Robert Bolick wasn't left behind and also has good stats on his rookie season.

Maybe I will give 2-3 season. That will be a good comparison.

But for me, I don't like to compare them since Bolick's injury will also bring an impact on his future playing performance. Tearing the ACL is not a joke that even for a player that has the mindset of they can still be aggressive and feels 100% healthy, their body might not cooperate. So in here, no need to push him as a first option. He just needs to play his role at his best in every game.
4664  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucets (freebitco.in) on: June 19, 2020, 11:32:23 PM
Do really faucets pays?. Specially freebitco.in. Because I make my payout yesterday. I pick the slow one and it says there it will take six hours. But until now I still don't receive my pay out. Can any body here say something about this?

Try to wait for another day.

The Slow Withdrawal option takes 6 to 24 hours to process according to the withdrawal page. There's also a countdown/timer on each of payouts. Maybe you request your cashout after just the countdown has been reset. So it might better if you wait for 2-3 days (yeah, literally slow but I doubt it will take 3 days).

If you didn't receive it within 2-3 days, you can contact them via submitting a form on their FAQ section.
4665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What should replace comps with Brick n mortar casinos in online casinos? on: June 19, 2020, 11:12:58 PM
Do you think this might work? Let's discuss.  Cool

It does mean that these online casinos will have to partner with "local merchants" of the said country which I doubt they will put an effort.

Maybe possible at those fiat casinos that are solely operating on the said country but for crypto-casinos, I will give a chance at 1% to happen.

I see it would be better if these online casinos will always give perks at their regular bettors like freerolls, free bets for at least 2-3 times a month. Although that will be subject to a wagering requirement and totally different in a physical casino that even for the first time, a person will get that food or any bonus perks, still better than nothing.
4666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 19, 2020, 10:50:57 PM

According to this article, it looks like Roach's statement was taken out of the context and this fight will never happen.

Interesting read here; All Talk Of A Pacquiao-GGG Fight Snuffed Out Not In This Lifetime

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum also said that Crawford is aggressively eyeing for Pacquaio as his next opponent and reading between the lines, looks like they are now working on it. Keith Thurman is also calling for a rematch and hoping he will be included on Pacquiao's list before the legend retires.

But for me, it's not about the "next" fight but "last" fight. I still want to see that Pacquaio's last match on his career will be against the monster GGG. There are probably 2-3 more fights before Pacquaio will hang his gloves. If the usual timeline will be followed, it will around 4Q2021 - 2Q2022. 42-43 years old, might too old for a 160 lbs weight caught. Each result on Pacquiao's next opponent also plays a big role if he will continue to fight.
4667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best advice for Bitcoin ATH investors ?? on: June 16, 2020, 11:59:22 PM
Cut loss. Use the remaining asset to invest into other alt coins, buy low - sell high. Diversify the funds until you can fully recover while waiting for another ATH.

Only good if they were able to do it early. They should be able to cover the loss by now* with focus and proper trading.

However, not too late if that person is really eager to cover the loss.

Either put an end for that patience, sold some coins from 2017, or let it hold more and used new funds to start. I prefer the latter if I have decent funds.
4668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino searches at "all time high" during lockdown on: June 16, 2020, 11:54:35 PM
Does it mean that many people are playing gambling during the lockdown? it makes sense when we are so bored doing nothing and having the limited condition in our real-life because of lockdown.

The only one who can answer that is the online casino itself if they can able to provide stats.

But pointing to the subject of the thread, it was in England so maybe we can assume that more people gambled there during the lockdown.

Here in our country, I also noticed an increase activity of online gambling like online "sabong" (cockfighting), online horse racing, online dice, etc. but it doesn't mean the numbers are greatly increased.
4669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 16, 2020, 11:44:15 PM
On the good side, this is like a wake-up call for the coaches and all the leagues here in the PH. Lets just see how Japan's progress in the past years. They've allowed to have I think 3-4 imports in their league and right now they are improving and will continue to improve and also they defeated Australia (which is the one PH fought in the controversial game Cheesy) and we know what is the roster of Australia is. If we will tweak some rules especially the import side, there is a chance that the Local will also step up and play better than what they are right now.

Coach Tab's comments might make sense but he can deliver it a nice way. It looks like he thinks he can just say anything because he has a good coaching career handling different countries. Definitely, he crossed the lines. International teams

Tab must consider that it's hard to implement that 3-4 imports. The cost and the expenses. If I have 3-4 imports and paying them decently, then surely I want to maximize my money by putting more minutes to them. It will leave 1-2 locals on the court which is not a PBA anymore lol. Other teams can't also afford to pay the cost for that.

And even with that system, let's accept that PH is really far from being a success in a global competition. We can dominate Asia, that's proven but taking it to the higher level will take several years in the making. Still, I admire Coach Tab and want to see him handling the Gilas in the future.
4670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 16, 2020, 11:34:18 PM
..unlike Leonard, he is one of the reasons why we know the other players in Raptors like Siakam and the others. He proved that everyone can do his own game if given chance to play well.

Not in my case. It might be those people who are just watching the finals. Raptors is always been at the top of Eastern Conference before Kawhi's arrival. They are not a team that is always left behind the Eastern Conference competition.  Their players are popular so it's not about Kawhi why Siakam or others got noticed.

What I like to Kawhi is, he is really fit for the Raptors system. I mean, Raptor's core players are already good, and with Kawhi on the floor, they are even better. We have seen the improvement of Raptors' core players year by year. They always comes back as a better team after every playoff choked lol. And take note, Raptors do have a good record even Kawhi is out on the floor (load management) so let's give credits to the whole Raptors why they achieved that success. I'm also hoping that they will meet the Bucks again on the playoffs to see how they can deal with Giannis without Kawhi.
4671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 16, 2020, 11:16:32 PM
No live audience is really different but I think at that time players can focus on the match without worrying noise from the fans who were yelling at the stadium.

Well for the home team, they can focus on the game even with that noise from fans. That's where their energy came from. Now with no-audience, I believed these players can still focus on their game as that's their profession. They are playing the game for several years and they are used to it so even with or without an audience, nothing will change to their performance. It's just that audience impact contributes to the winning factor but not actually a big deal. Surely, they will be used in that format as the game progress.

How about those players yelling too in front of the audience after the dunk shot? Can they still yell on that even without an audience?

That only happened if the team is on "Away" so not a big deal.

And besides, it's not always the case as the dunker yells on the player who tries to contest or defended him while he attempts to dunk, not on the audience.
4672  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FORRISE.COM on: June 16, 2020, 10:55:46 PM
If bad experience, what are the best alternatives from Forrise.com?

Don't find alternatives. Don't be blinded by those "earn while you sleep" scheme.

Always take note that once you see an offer about fixed profit within a period of time, that was likely a scam.

Forrise.com is not trustworthy. Stay away. Good thing you ask on this thread first. Make it a habit.
4673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: June 16, 2020, 10:35:56 PM
-snip-
But just like what I said since this is for the information purpose you should read a few reviews before using the website. The case of "Satoshi Battle", I see his thread a few days ago since the topic was really fit with his game. Decide to put the game into my thread.

However, there are only few reviews around making it riskier for others to try.

I will make a review for SatoshiBattle so that others can take it as a reference.

The game client is around 800MB in size. Surprise here since on the screenshot, the graphics is classic-one (can be compared to Diablo II, Wartune, and the early of M.U online).  I will download it on my free time.

Their ANN thread is closed. I hope it will re-opened. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214675.0
4674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 16, 2020, 10:20:26 PM
Crawford vs Pacquiao should be the best option for Manny if indeed it will be his last fight.

In Crawford's 36 record match, he hasn't involved yet on the big fights with big names which makes him disappointed.

Pacquaio's last fight should be on the boxer that already established a good track record on their history. GGG is the best choice.

Honestly, I would like to see this Pacquiao vs GGG compare to Pacquaio vs Crawford. I mean, GGG is no doubt a big name on his division. That will be another great fight for Pacquiao instead of facing those youngsters on their prime even those are champions (if it's about Pacquiao's supposed last fight).
4675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever made a deposit and haven't received it in your account? on: June 16, 2020, 09:51:22 PM
Have you ever deposited a currency in one of the sites or exchanges and did not receive the currency in your account.  I means that the withdrawal was already done in your first account but did not reach your second account on the other exchange and remained on the network. Is this possible? What can be done?

That is common and I experienced it several times.

The most common reason for my case is the destination platform itself (receiving address). The wallet is not updating and does have a sort of technical problem. If your transaction got confirmed and the address is correct, don't worry as you received at your end unless that platform do have a sudden problem or scam.

Anyways, you won't ask this question without a reason. Do you experience this now? What are the platforms involved?
4676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: June 16, 2020, 09:24:55 PM

Nice compilation and I appreciate the effort.

What games did you already try on the list or we can say a "legit" ones? It might be a good reference for newbies out there aside from doing their DYOR.

The MMORPG, Satoshi Battles catch my interest (I'm an MMORPG enthusiast) but I'm hesitant to download their client. I thought it was a browser game. And upon registering my account, it redirects me to the Deposit/Withdraw page instead of the usual panel we see on every MMORPG account. Well then, I will give feedback later on.

P.S You can put the links on the game description so that no need to scroll down for sources.
4677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 16, 2020, 09:04:21 PM
I cant blame out the community or citizens to have its own insights towards POGO, why? the government had prohibit online gambling but still these things do exist and been allowed.

Online gambling is allowed freely in the PH. Of course, as long as the company involved will comply with the law or have their business registered. POGO is one of the businesses that became hype alongside with BPO industry. It's just that other POGO operators join the flow and take this as an advantage to the point that they will try to operate illegally.

I salute the PH government for their effort to track down those illegal POGO operators. However, like in other government agencies such as DTI, LTO, BIR, there are "moles" involved too that's why some illegitimate POGO is running under the shadows.

Who would be the one will not really be having a question in mind? In positive aspects, i can say that they can really be helpful towards taxation it would always matter in the legality.

The problem in media is, they are mostly covering the bad side of the POGO industry. Honestly, some people here when the term POGO is mentioned, they will think that those are illegal. Don't have time to argue with them, so be it.

Bloomberg analyst shares why the bitcoin price will double to 20000$ this year in 2020. According to Mike Mcglone senior commodities analyst at Bloomberg, bitcoin is going to hit 20000 Dollars by the end of 2020. READ THE COMPLETE BLOG AND SHARE YOUR OPINION ....WHAT U THINK ...

https://blog.coinbaazar.com/bitcoin-prediction-2020/

I'm not a fan of this prediction thing. I can even say, $30,000 at the end of the year even it's not realistic or not. I can also say $5,000 or below. These predictions will just make you more confused. I'd rather focus on the current trend and from there, just go with the flow.

Maybe try to read the blog by yourself and see what it brings to you.

After all, we have the freedom to believed what we think is way more realistic to happen.
4679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better trade BTC or BNB? On BINANCE on: June 15, 2020, 11:25:20 PM
Hello, someone can explaine if is better trade in bnb or btc on binance...and when is better use BTC or BNB.
Thanks! Smiley

Your question can only be answered by you. It will still end up on your own decision.

BTC, BNB, or whatever, the key to making profits out of trading these coins will depend on how you manage it along the way.

What can I just say is, Binance is a great choice to perform your trade. Now for what coins to choose between BNB or BTC pairs, make a self-analysis.
4680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: seems like bitcoin is too slow to progress on: June 15, 2020, 11:08:25 PM
guys, in bitcoin literally nothing happens if we compare with defi on ethereum. User experience and possibilities there (lending, dexes, pools and so on) are so far ahead.
the idea of 21kk bitcoins is out of date, no fresh ideas, no fresh blood in devs. And also absolutely centralised infrastructure around (exchanges). Lightening is fucked.
Bitcoin is one more tool for snx traders. And its price goes exactly according to s&p500. I hardly see reasons to hold the biggest share of my portfolio in bitcoin. Maybe I missed smth, help to get it. Thanks!

In other words, bitcoin failed to meet your expectations.

The fact that you entirely throw away good facts, it means you are rushing things out.

No need for further technical discussion about this. If you don't want to "trust the process" then it's up to you.
