Since this is already the 2nd time around that his account has been hacked, I think the security is quite weak. As servant leaders, their accounts should be well taken care of and should have high safety protocols. May this serve as a lesson to them.
That is totally right. Public personalities, especially agents of the public administration have to be extremelly careful with their social media accounts, because it is an official mean or channel of communication of the government, due to the verification seal guaranteed by the platform.

The informations posted on that profile will surely be taken into consideration by the most uneducated and naive citizens, doesn't matter how insane they are, just like this one.

I could say it was an accident if the account had been hacked once, but since it is the second time it makes me think the responsible one for the social platforms is neglecting the security protocols of his duty. That is unacceptable!
4662  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1XBIT campaign could be the next longest running campaign even with scam reports on: December 14, 2021, 07:58:18 PM
The most shocking part is that they belong to the same group of 1xbet, a big and popular fiat casino which has already sponsored soccer teams like Chelsea and Liverpool, also appearing very often in online advertisements even though you aren't looking for gambling content on the internet. As far as I know they are the largest bookmaker in Europe nowadays. Nevertheless, they are involved with the scam casino 1xbit, but people seem to not bother with this, including the regulators. They keep playing at the site without caring for their money or keep promoting it without caring for their own reputation.
There is no proof both 1xbet and 1xbit is owned and managed by the same group of casino operators but my major concern is how far they site still get endorsement and happen to be one of the largest gambling sites in Europe despite the aligation levied against them. I'm wondering if there is no regulatory agency that sees into the reputation of most of this online casinos and gambling sites
Check the faq section of this gambling review site and you will see:

Quote
Q: Who owns 1xbit?
1xbit is owned and operated from 1xCorp N.V. which is licensed in Curacao. This is the same group that owns 1Xbet.

1xbit review

You can also paste 1xCorp N.V. directly on Google and the search will link to 1xbet instantly.

Actually I've found the same complaints we see regards 1xbit on this forum in another reviews sites, but regards 1xbet. Mainly issues with gamblers who were able to grow their bankroll after some time betting, and once they did, their accounts were freezed (no withdrawls allowed anymore).
4663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t Miss Out: Play To Earn on: December 13, 2021, 10:05:34 PM
First game launchment will happen only during the third phase of the project! That is not right. The game development and launchment should be the first thing for developers to worry about.

How can you start a massive marketing campaign if the final product isn't known yet? It doesn't look good, especially because many projects have already used this same approach to just scam people and make them lose time promoting something shady or useless.
4664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $2 million worth of SHIBA INU bought on: December 13, 2021, 09:14:27 PM
You said that 2 million dollars worth of Shiva Inu tokens were bought. It will not have much effect on Shiva Inu. The main reason is that Shiva Inu trades more than this every day. Shiva Inu is definitely a very good project. This project has the potential to be much better in the future. I think as far as possible it can go 0.02 $. So if you want you can buy it for the future. But you can't trade shots with it. It will not make you much profit.
Shiba inu being a meme token can also go to zero any day as well, it's just speculation on which it is still being pumped and there is no real use of this coin in the world. People are buying it just for the sake of speculation and that it can make you rich very quickly just like DOGE which have made quiet a few people millionaire. I guess it is not the right time to buy Shiba inu and that we should wait for a hard dump for buying it again.

his target of 2 cents is for me a very very long journey to go as right now, it is valued $0.000032 - he's aiming like 625x over from the current price! this will be possible if in case, this yet another meme token will survive and the dev team behind will not rug pull later on. as you said, you can't see the real use case for this token - because there's none. why do you think people are buying this token - because of its use case? nope. it is because they are hoping that they will hit the jackpot here and will get rich because of this token. so they are hoping that someday, if it will pump big, they can sell their stash. will this happen?
Shiba inu development team is trying to revive the hype again by promising a new NFT game in partnership with an ex-Activision Blizzard vice president and by introducing the crypto currency in more big exchanges.

But despite this apparent effort, there are no positive results, as the market continues pessimistic regards the token.

I believe the only thing which made shiba inu hyped for a while was the support from Vitalik Buterin and the jokes from Elon Musk, who was also believed to be a supporter until he denied it publicly.

Now it's over, so it's better to stay away from this meme coin in order to prevent losses.
4665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Prime Minister Promoting Bitcoins Giveaway on: December 13, 2021, 07:56:00 PM
Clearly it was fake, although posted from the official twitter account of Narendra Modi. Governments can't launch that kind of giveaway without proper rules, guidelines, previous announcements and equal participation chances for all the citizens of the country. After all, public funds are being used, that is everyone's money (at least in theory).

Anyone could easily spot the difference between this fake giveaway and the legit giveaway promoted by el salvadorean government which paid 30$ in bitcoin to every citizens early this year.

Well, despite the crash in FUN price during the last 30 days, it has finally showed some increasement in price today, with +4% in the last 24 hours. That was a shy, but interesting move anyway. Like any altcoins, FUN will also have to rely on bitcoin now to keep rising. If bitcoin does well by the end of December, it's likely FUN will also show some strength during this same time period.

It's hard to guess precisely, but who knows if this is the final chance to acquire FUN for its cheaper price in a while?
4668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to Hit $150,000 in 2022 on: December 12, 2021, 05:19:31 PM
It's not the right time to predict bitcoin is going to hit 150,000$ next year, because the scenario isn't clear enough yet. There isn't a tendency in fluctuations or on the news showing bitcoin will pump so strongly soon. Maybe in some weeks it can change, so we can understand what is going on in crypto market accurately.

In every cases, 150,000$ is still too much. You are talking about a 200% increasement in bitcoin price in one year period, considering bitcoin has never been there before.
4669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One problem with BTC on: December 12, 2021, 04:24:33 PM
If you use centralized services like exchanges, you can sue the owners in case you lose your coins for a mistake commited by them. Due to regulations crypto universe isn't a lawless land anymore. People making business in this environment have responsabilities with their customers that can't be neglected, under the risk of facing the court of the country where they are registered and operating.

But if the mistake was commited by you, like sending your coins to a wrong address or forgetting your password there is no one to blame besides yourself.
4670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots vs football ⚽ on: December 11, 2021, 08:38:30 PM
Honestly, if your goal is to make some extra money for the holidays you should think twice before going for it through gambling. It doesn't matter the games you are going to play, all of them are risky and you may end losing money instead of achieving that extra budget you are looking for. Have you thought about this possibility as well, or only about the bright side?

Anyway, since you gave two options, football/sports betting is more likely to return you some extra profit than slots. Make sure to choose a match you have a clear understanding of the teams involved, the skills and currently conditions of each player. And then, hope for the best so you can have a nice holiday where you can execute everything you planned to do. Good luck!
4671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the single worst piece of advice you ever received relative to Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2021, 07:33:35 PM
The worst advice I have unfortunately listened to is that Bitcoin reached its maximum when it crossed $1000, and that it will never be worth nearly as much again. What to say, I was very inexperienced and the price was around $200, it seemed that those voices were right - I sold most of the BTC I had bought until then with little profit. A few years later, I realized I had made a bad move - and that Tim Draper was right when he said in 2014, "Bitcoin will be worth $10 000 in 3 years.".

The lesson of the story is that we listen to our reason, and maybe sometimes a smart person who still has some results behind him that give him the right to give advice - in other words, it is not wise to listen to random people on the Internet Wink
That was also my case, with the difference I wasn't advised by random people on the internet, but by my own family. I've sold some decent amount of bitcoin for 300$ or 400$ that would worth nowadays 5000$. It was a big mistake to not believe in bitcoin's potential due to others opinion and that is why it's very important to have our own personality and conviction very well consolidated.
Anyway, I think somehow it had a positive impact on me, because I learned a lesson from this mistake that I don't want to commit again futurely.
4672  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: December 11, 2021, 05:58:31 PM
I believe such strategies may work with newbies and naive gamblers, but once these people realize the real nature of the marketing, they will most likely disgust it, and it's not interesting for any casinos to disappoint experienced/veteran gamblers, because these are the ones who most spend money on their platforms.
So it is precisely such novice players and simply naive people that this advertisement is designed for.  These are the players who bring the most profit, since they almost always lose.
Look, for example, how many naive teenagers there are in the world who have just seen such an advertisement, and their age already allows them to gamble themselves.  It is on such that these are designed, as the OP correctly notes, immoral ways of advertising.

They are mostly the victims of this kind of advertisement.

the sole target of marketing, those kinds of people who are unaware of those stuff are the one that bring decent profits inside the house,
it's designed to bring people's interest hoping to do the same.

Without proper knowledge of what they are dealing with, they will lose money and continue repeating the same thing.

For people who do get such experience then they would be aware on next time which simply means that they wouldnt really make themselves to be fooled again with those kind of advertisement since they do have the experience on the first hand.

This is  the time you would be telling things to people since you are aware and this is what we are saying now specially into those noobs.

Honestly, our own self will would be enough on minding us that there are things which isnt right or something deceptive.
That is why I think it's a dumb marketing strategy. People who get fooled won't quit gambling for that reason, they will just quit the streamers channels and platforms which fooled them through a deceiving marketing approach and use their money to bet in another casinos which they consider more transparent. Maybe on short run it's not a visible fact, but on long run it will be, because the marketing will start becoming saturated and its bad reputation will reach even the newbiest gamblers in the industry, just like streets scams aren't so popular nowadays because everyone is so aware about them.
4673  Economy / Economics / Re: The CIA Is Deep Into Cryptocurrency, Director Reveals on: December 10, 2021, 08:12:04 PM
I don't think CIA is behind any popular crypto currencies. When they say they are deep into crypto currency it might refer to the fact they are closely watching it and developing new strategies to track and stop criminal activity dealing with crypto currencies, such as the ransomware attacks, used by hackers to invade and block victims' data and devices, asking for a payment in crypto currencies right after, in order to free the access to the compromised data.

It seems to be the main concern of CIA to fight this kind of wrongdoing, since ransomware attacks were heavily mentioned on the article in OP. All the rest looks conspiracy theories boosted by social influencers, because it generates engagement for them on twitter and youtube platforms.
4674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Machine Strategy? on: December 10, 2021, 07:27:33 PM
My question for you guys, is there any strategy you know of for slot machines ? I think this more so applies to in person casinos but maybe online as well.

Does waiting to get on a machine that gets heavily played a legit strategy?  Does it make more sense to play different types of machines or play one machines for a long period of time? Etc etc..
Physical slots machines are a world apart from online gambling slots games. There was the common belief each of those physical machines would start rewarding gamblers from a determined hour of the day on. Loyal customers of casinos usually observed the routine of each machine for several days and concluded some were good to play in the morning, others in the afternoon and others in the evening, believing the machines were manipulated by the house operators to work that way. However, we can't say if that really happened or still happens in land based casinos. For me it is still more like an urban myth, but who knows... Provably fair system wasn't implemented anyway.
4675  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: December 10, 2021, 12:41:59 AM
Currently support level: 47,000$

Currently resistance level: 51,000$

There isn't a big difference between those two values, what means bitcoin is doing a good job fighting volatility. This fact should encourage investors to buy more bitcoins and I'm not sure why it isn't happening yet. Maybe in the next days a decent movement upside can be noticed, creating a new wave of optimism in the market among investors. To have a better understanding of the market I believe we have to read investors' emotions and feelings in the present time instead of reading graphics from the past expecting those movements will repeat following a pattern, because that is unlikely to happen.
4676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2021, 11:33:52 PM
From an individual perspective it's anti-ethical, but looking at the big picture it's not, because we live in centralized countries ruled by centralized entities. To be allowed inside these socities, bitcoin needs to be adapted to the local rules, like anyone and anything else.

Furthermore I must say regulations such as KYC aren't totally bad, although I personally don't like them and wouldn't like them to be necessary. However we need to be realistic and confess KYC procedure helps authorities fight illegal activity easier and crypto businesses to stay legit as they have a compromise not only with their customers, but also with the local laws of the territory where they operate from.
4677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: December 09, 2021, 08:43:10 PM
well it is known to most people that the youtube guys are selling forex and trading courses, but they are not rich people, and few people ask: why are they selling courses instead of enjoying forex earnings? the answer of course is because they don't earn anything with forex and for that reason they create courses to be earning money.
What you say makes a lot of sense and the same could be said about streamers from gambling industry. Gamblers who make a living from this activity don't need to share their life following the vlog methodology with the public. Actually, people who earn and deal with big money need to be careful and discreet all the time for their own safety and for the success of their businesses. As the saying goes: the secret is the key to the business.

There is no problem with content creators trying to make some money through views or partneships with casinos, but it should be a must to let it very clear to the audience, so everyone knows what is going on and what are the real intentions of the respective video in exhibition. When nobody feels like being lured or tricked, the marketing campaign works much more efficiently on long run.
If it wasnt working on the first  place then we wont really be seeing it to be used in todays era or situation which we are seeing the opposite. When it comes to marketing then these would be the primary mediums on where companies would allocate some budget on because we are on a digital era
which its sensible for them to have on this method.

It isnt just that ethical if they would really be making those decieving kind of advertisement because they would know that it will really backfire on them.

As for advertisers or influencers had made out their own personal choice on altering something then thats a personal problem of course.
I don't know if this kind of deceiving marketing is really working, because what I most see are lots of criticisms regards them in different threads on this forum and on the internet in general, including the ban imposed by Twitch inside their platform towards gambling content after a massive number of complaints about the mentioned marketing strategy reached to Twitch's managers.

I believe such strategies may work with newbies and naive gamblers, but once these people realize the real nature of the marketing, they will most likely disgust it, and it's not interesting for any casinos to disappoint experienced/veteran gamblers, because these are the ones who most spend money on their platforms.

On chain data shows that we are not at top of this bull run but this cycle can last longer than past ones. It means we might see top of this run in 2022.

I can not predict far future for Bitcoin but I believe in coming 2 weeks, we can trade Bitcoin and a price channel from $46k to $53k. You can see this channel with 1 hour candles.

My advice prioritizes your safety first. So please don't do any Future or leverage trades till the end of 2021. Only make spot trading if you do any trade. Stay safe with your health as well as your portfolio. Christmas and New year to come!

It's worth noting that BTC has had high volatility in recent weeks. So it's rather difficult to predict what the range will be at the end of the month. Nevertheless, I suppose that BTC may break resistance at $53k in the coming days, and then the BTC price might be in the range of $57.5-60k by the end of December. As for me, this is a good range for bets (this is not advice).
That is possible. December is historically a very good month for bitcoin if we look past years and the market doesn't look so pessimistic as some news websites and investors imagine. It's true bitcoin crashed recently, however the crash wasn't definitive and the digital currency is already showing bullish fluctuations again, already back to the 50,000$'s, touching 51,000$ sometimes.
I also don't advice anyone to bet following my guesses, because I don't want to be responsible for third party's possible losses, but I believe at the end of December bitcoin can be around 60,000$, just like you. That is not a big challenge though, because we have already been at 68,000$ once. The real challenge for bitcoin must start from that point on, or more specifically from 70,000$ on.
4680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AXS and SLP. Why the price of SLP is falling but AXS is rising? on: December 09, 2021, 01:20:04 AM
The price of SLP is critical to their whole project. Once the price is too low, players might abandon the game altogether. They wouldn't want that to happen.
That is totally right. Many people underestimate the importance of SLP in the game ecosystem, but the truth is that without SLP there isn't Axie Infinity. AXS is great for investors, but SLP is a must for players. It is more important than anything else, as it's the source of income from the game and also the only way to breed new axies. If people realize they aren't going to profit anymore with the game due to the low price of SLP, they will most likely leave and the purchases of new axies will drop considerably.

Besides increasing the costs per breeding, to make SLP more valuable they could also create new usages for the token inside the game environment.
