I wonder why anyone thinks that something needs to happen in order to price dump. Why can't it just be markets doing market things? I rarely hear people wondering what happened when the price moves up.
I think they relate the price dump because of many things so they can say that today's price drop is because of that thing. But the price doesn't need any news to get down or get up because the price will always go up and go down without notice. We already see the price increase, and now we need to know the price is decreasing, and in the other day, the price will be back to increase. I wonder if the price can increase so high, there will be people who will ask why the price increase or not  I think that is why the usability of the analysis so we don't have to panic if the price is down because we have some guidance that will lead us to do something related to the situations. I think that is because of bitcoin price was drop deeper than the last price, and now we saw the bitcoin price reached $8k.
That makes the altcoin especially ethereum gets down too, but that will be temporary because after bitcoin can move to the higher price.
The altcoin will follow too, and that will happen too with ethereum.

I never heard both coins xtrabytes and safex. I don't recommend you to trade on the coins which have a low volume because you will be difficult to make a profit. It is better to select the coin which has middle until big volume so you can see your chance to make a profit. Maybe you can choose any coin from the top 100 coins list so you will find the profitable coins. It is too difficult if you still force yourself to buy and sell those coins and I don't think that you will make a profit from both coins. I think you should hold the token until the token has a good volume so you can sell with a good price too. You don't know when the token will be increased, but the token can have a good future someday. If the developers and the teams can still running on the project, they will make sure that the project will reach every phase and reach the goals. But I think many people still hold many tokens which don't have volume and many tokens still waiting to enter the market. You don't have to worry about that, what you need to do now is still holding the token until the situation can change in the future. Maybe in the next year, we will see that surprise because I hear that the Casper will launch in the next year if I am not mistaken. In terms of investment or asset, Ethereum cannot compete with Bitcoin. There is no point insisting on that. Ethereum may come second but it is farther from what competition may actually mean. Ethereum 2.0 will be coming early this January 2020 and hopefully investors will find the development convincing and promising enough to make them release a significant amount of investment money to stock more ETH in their portfolio. That is right. Somewhat, ethereum will still behind bitcoin, and with the other altcoin, ethereum cannot beat bitcoin. But ethereum will have a chance to increase high after bitcoin or before bitcoin increase and a few days ago proves that ethereum can increase for a small price. That will also happen to the other coins and no matter if the altcoin price is at a low price, it will increase in the future. I am curious about what happens after the Ethereum 2.0 launch. But I won't surprise if the price cannot increase after its launch if the bitcoin price is not rising so high. But if we compare between ethereum with the other altcoin, then ethereum will have the position and the other altcoin will be difficult to beat the ethereum position.
