I agree with you. I also feel sick everytime I see my coins dropping where all I can do is still hold for it and hope that everything will be back to its normal price. I still believe in crypto even if I see there is so much blood in the market I know it will green again soon.

I hold bitcoin and I was thinking if it was going up I would spend some, just a little bit, as a way to cash in my profits. But with the current market I just hold, I don’t want to spend my coins at such a cheap price because it will feel like a loss to me.

I agree that it feels like a loss when you spend coins at such low prices, but it's really not. There's no guarantee that the price will go up again, since only speculation can do that. What does that mean? Unpredictability... Meaning the coins you got could fall in price even more and you would then wish you had spent them right now. It's for that reason, that I think it's better to spend your coins whenever you feel like you need some stuff. Unless you're really sure it'll go up again soon or if you really don't need the stuff you want to buy. I'm not saying you should do this, but I do this and it works perfectly for me. I'm sometimes hesitant on which coins I should use to buy stuff, but usually it doesn't really matter all that much. Just do what you believe in. With the present market price value of almost all ALT coins are on the ups and down, i would hold until the market price value of my coin goes up a bit and then i can decide if spend them all or not. Market is Volatile, market price value can goes up and goes down at any given time then recovered,stabilized to a better market value. i would follow the simple principle in trading "Buy low and Sell high". |

That's correct. Tweets from famous people, leaked information, FUD (like the one about a ban in Korea). We're lacking real investigative journalism, one that doesn't follow news without confirming. Every crypto news site wants to be the first and publishes information based on hearsay and info copied from other sites. People are so afraid of crypto being squashed by governments that they're overreacting every time FUD gets published. We are already in such a face of overreaction and mark my words, if BTC goes below 6000 USD it's going to be a parade of suicidal crybabies on the forum again. There are a lot of factor indicators that affect the Bitcoin price value in the market, Yes, bad news or good news affect the market on crypto currency in the trading, anything about Bitcoin related news posted in social media crypto currency market trading reacts, the price value may goes down or goes up if the posted news is more favorable to the investors,but still, let's not forget that with good fundamentals, stable market value, and with the growing interest of new investors for Bitcoin, at least Bitcoin remain on top of among all the ALT coin. |

I’m still very optimistic on bitcoin breaking its previous ATH of $20,000 this year. Though it’s not looking good at this point, $6,400 as I write this. Many people wants to have a multiple profits, and they were strongly holding their coins for a long term, but if your coin now has a good market price value there is no reason to hold it, and if you are contented on the price today just sell it, but if you are not contented on the market price today, then continue holding until such time that the price of that certain coin grow up and fit to your needs.
I agree to this. Why are you making this decision based on the suggestions of other members ? Different members here have different targets and approaches while investing. Some are here for short term trading and thus investing for a margin of 5-10% only. While others want a bigger cut and they can wait longer. Thus, it really depends on what is your target. Also, you need to take into consideration , your risk taking ability. If you do not like taking much risks, sell units sufficient to recover the investment cost and trade with remaining coins. US economy is too large, so it is moving by itself. Even President Trump without changes in laws, can not do something for so large ecnomy. But changes in the laws is not in the hands of president. He can speak at US congress, but that's all what he can do.
Trump is good for US economy, the market is with good fundamentals, unemployment is falling as posted on the statistic indicators, US dollar is very strong and i would result to a better stability on the US commodities, yet a down stream market reaction to the Strong US dollar. it thus affect the other country currencies in world trading market.
