4681  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin's institutional hype is over? Adoption Slowing Down? on: June 03, 2021, 03:49:57 AM
Now many people think that bitcoins at $35000 - 38000 are cheap bitcoins. But also do not forget that the first bottom is often followed by a second bottom.
Because it did hit 64k price rhats why some called it a bottom and cheap bitcoin. We cant disagree that some of those institutional investors are still buying bitcoin, and yes its not about btc since defi products are moving and getting hype as well. Major caps are not that affected whem btc price si crashing down. I believe the trend is going up and we can expect more movement and cash in within the next 3months as some of the investors are accumulating bags at this stage.
4682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk and his invention on: June 03, 2021, 02:55:05 AM
Elon Musk talked about how BTC mining with electricity isn't environment friendly but he invented electric cars, in near future if this actually becomes popular electric cars will be available world wide and billions of vehicles will be charged by electricity so how is this environment friendly?
Its what you called publicity mate. He is also wise when he did announced it. Why? Of course some elon musk followers believe him and will panic sell on bitcoin and you know did happened right? However wr already anticipate that his move was to boost doge instead since he got out already from bitcoin and realize the multiplier is much stronger on dogecoin. See how tweets working so far. So I think elon is just playing business here.
4683  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gate.io SCAMMERS? on: June 03, 2021, 02:32:25 AM
I dont think they are scam. Like others said, you are depositing a different blockchain with some modifications on their exchange. Its not a normal erc20 tokens that can easily send and received. No problem at all on your part for confirming the required needs they are asking you. Its just prove that they are checking well if its you the one whom really deposited.

Ive only used gate once for trading some token but not havent made any trouble or hassle. So I think it could be fixed OP just wait for the reply and your xlm since you did all what they asked.
4684  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beware] Fake Vega Token sale on: June 03, 2021, 02:07:35 AM
It's not just about the Vega project that more will definitely be added to their fake channel.
Yes co tinue to report this kind of channel. We cant really caught the guy behind this, as due to the privacy terms of telegram but we can report it so it could have a label scam or turn down.

I think its easy to make a channel like this with lots of followers. Just do an airdrop promotions and later on they could change details of it once they acquire the required followers and now used to trick community if ever there is a hype project.
4685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest on alts suggestion on: June 02, 2021, 07:06:21 AM
I am plaaning to invest on alts 2024. For the moment i keep my usdt. I am thinking that these coins still at higher prices , they  will sure more 80-90% down.

How about your views?
We dont know until we came to that year. Its hard to speculate, cause chances as well that the market could pushed through for continous bull run and cant stop until few years more. Many have become interested on crypto and this reason could change the possible history of some crashes that happened in the past. I think most of the projects are gonna stay alive except with the new born one and only large cap and middle cap project can retain their cash flows if ever we experienced bear market.
4686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 02, 2021, 05:57:38 AM
Now a day hundreds of meme coins launching with too much supply and no use case so what do you think about meme coins and will some meme coins survive long or they will all runaway ?
Depends on the memecoin you picked. Ive bought some and I believe these memecoin will follow shiba as it goes through top exchanges.

I believe these memecoin still have a good future.

Kishu Inu
Keanu Inu
Bonfire token
Catecoin
Elongate
Australian Sheperd token
Hodl token
Shibasaurus token

*Not a financial advice since these are memecoin still have a lot of shitcoin in my wallet but these are the ones I think have potential too.

Dont put up money you cant afford to lose on these kind of token cause these are highly risky asset. Better to put on major coin if you are conservative investor.
4687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking of launching an ICO (Feedback is appreciate) on: June 02, 2021, 05:29:54 AM
You are right well i am well know on the payment industry in Costa Rica , i have been talking with a couple of small business and they like the idea.
Then its nice to hear that you already establish a brand name of payment system there. You just need to incorporate the blockchain advantage on it. If they like the idea then go for it. Right now you have plenty of choices to make cause there are different blockchain now that are moving fast aside from ethereum network. Choose a chain that can easily connect the clients and also the cheaper fee so they can tolerate as many transaction or deal they want for their customer as well.
4688  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A legend was once a newbie on: June 02, 2021, 04:26:52 AM

4689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking of launching an ICO (Feedback is appreciate) on: June 02, 2021, 02:56:02 AM
I am thinking on launching a Bep2 token to allow merchants around the world to accept payments, I know there are many currencies that solve this, but none of these currencies are focus on the small business and real world use of their crypto.
You can actually, however how sure you are that small business willl accept the token you are making? Its not hard to make a token, but its very difficult to gain attention of business entity to use unknown token for their business. Why not accept a world wide renowned coin such as btc and eth? Im not discouraging you, but I am saying that this task of adoption isnt easy to pursue, you will need hard work and full dedication to pull it off.
4690  Other / Meta / Re: An Alternative to Merit on: June 02, 2021, 01:39:16 AM
Ive understand you OP. The urge to express our feeling over something we like is strong that a like button is sounds like missing here but thats a different case since this a forum and not can be compared with social media sites such as facebook and twitter.

In case you have encounter a lot of good post that you reallt admire or like. Drop a merit if you have, but its not necessary since you are still a newbie. Anyway I am not against of this like button but more in favor.

Theymos can implement it as trial since many already requested the featuee and just remove it if turns out to be funny in the end.

4692  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Campaign Manager needs to be evaluated and force to pay Hunters. on: June 01, 2021, 02:48:04 AM
@crypt0kid22

This should already be enough to get a red flag. No self respecting CEO would use a TG handle like that. It's probably a rugpull project or a blatant scam.
Im not sure whats the case of OP. But I think its not a scam project, cause Ive seen this platform being launch on trustswap and they did locked their liquidity there. The only problem here are probably the bounty rewards since they are not been dessiminated or not sure maybe there is a dispute. But will take a look on OP's case.

If they not pay surely they can be flagged down. OP you mean in the " we run the campaign" means you handle a bounty service? Or did you join a bounty?
4693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social media advice to newbies on: June 01, 2021, 01:31:19 AM
I still can't believe how many people still falls for it. Someone I know from Discord got scammed out of $500.
Men they are hard headed people. There are somw who will not believe until they experience it otherwise. Most of these got scammed are probably wanted or hot encouraged by the money being offered. These scammers learn how to got your attention in any way they can feel how to get you. As someone whom got impresss easily thats dangerous. Youll really gonna get scammed if you are entertaining on talking with strangers.
4694  Other / Meta / Re: A question about unsolicited PMs on: May 31, 2021, 02:34:54 AM
I cannot know how many users will complain about my messages and neither do you.
Each case is considered individually. A moderator always knows more information than a regular user.
And we can only be guided by our experience and opinion.
It is better not to write commercial offers to unfamiliar users.
I dont think your invite mesaagw would be consider as unsolicited based on the rule. Everyone knew the purpose of your invite and if someone reported you for such pm that would be so lame. Its not worth of receiving a temp ban for this.

Ive pm some of the reputable members on this chat but so far they didnt report me so i guess only those whom look like flooding or really advertise something receives a ban. Anyway we can noticed it as newbies and low rank usually do this. ( bot accounts)
4695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED? I went into the hospital cam out AND.... on: May 31, 2021, 02:02:22 AM
If you enter the Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency space without knowing that price crashes could happen, then I could almost guarantee that you didn't do your homework.
Agreed but the crash happened were due to a news of China fud about bitcoin miner and Elon post about energy consumption thing of bitcoin isnt good for tesla ideals. Before these, the market is on healty phase. So everyone cant anticipate a cold crash for that alone. There maybe a correction if its a normal trade event but it was affected by the fud.

Maybe OP was just shocked how fast the effect of such news to crypto market.
4696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are scammers getting dumber? Or is it people they aim for are so naïve? on: May 31, 2021, 01:30:59 AM
Now these people were real con artists, they had all my data, used correct chat scripts etc. It all sounded so legit I almost missed the moment they asked me for SMS confirmation code, at which point I realized it's a scam. Not being sympathetic to these guys but at least they were highly professional and inventive scammers, unlike those I mentioned above.
These guys has probably access on your jan formation either captured from a malicious site or they have an insider on banks or any firms that you previously associated for example ICOs that you've joined and signed up before.

There are so many people that can do much more realistic approach just to scam and steal money. I remember a call also last 2 years ago and inquiring about crypto which I don't remember I did joined, so I said wrong number but they keep insisting that Ive changed my number for that.
4697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: May 30, 2021, 03:31:46 AM
Well, all I can do is to watch these whales manipulating the market because the real thing is that, they are also doing their best to make profits while some of these investors are just riding on it.
For retailers this is the only thing we can do. Either we ride their manipulation game or left behind. Sometime we get caught on their tricks as they market dump and we didn't sell and sometime they pumped and we already dumped. This unfavorable event usually occured and we can see it happening in a blink of an eye. Damn those whales playing market games on us.
4698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is here to stay, do not panic on: May 30, 2021, 02:41:05 AM
We've been worse, so I think its normal to see the price go down. If you are weak hands then can't tolerate such drop then you don't deserve to earn 500% or more. Unless you are a trader who have quota and cut loss is imminent. However it can still be remedy by holding cause any coins have to go up and down sometime.

Only panic seller that has no experience with such drop will sell over a huge loss.
4699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Protect your valuable personal information by avoiding tempting offers! on: May 30, 2021, 01:41:54 AM
I've always had text message that I won big prizes. Guess what it's not a robot generated message but from someone trying to steal money from you. I've always play tricks k  them whenever they message me. Like I will reply that how to claim the prize and they will eagerly message you, asking for details and telling you to give these vital info. Then after a while, thats where  I drop the bomb on them telling them I knew it and go to hell scammers. People like these should be punished. Anyway karma is real.
4700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whales and the bull/bear market on: May 29, 2021, 10:10:10 AM
So do the whales have the ability to dump us into a bear market on their own?

They would be able to buy cheap Bitcoin but if we're in a bear market they can't sell for huge profits (and then rinse and repeat) until the next bull run. Or is Bitcoin accumulation the be all end all for them?
Whales can make it looks like it's bear and pull it down very low. Then if everything is on panic mode they will saw retailers keeps on selling on the market and if its over then they will start inject funds rapidly or market buys. This will consume them a lot of money but as they can lure other market to buy then they could see a good reversal and slowly will get their money again with profits.
