Okay, last time I read about avocado, stock to flow, and now quantum computer news. I don't think these factors significantly determined the price movements.
I think we are closer to the flying car or hovercar era than the quantum computer era. In other words, I'm skeptical about quantum computers "progress" stated in those posts.

F*ck that meme ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) That last game also wipes out many bettors out there who think that Liverpool will easily win. Was it just a fluke or rigged? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
On paper, Liverpool vs Tottenham should be easy to predict. Playing at home, and historically they have won three recent games in a row.

From my 0 to 1000 merit experience, honestly, I stop caring about receiving merit after about 700 or so, after my merit count way ahead of my activity.
While the activity is predictable, the merit is not. Don't overthink it and keep posting whatever and whenever interest you the most. It's not a race, and you receive almost no benefit from being a top merited member. Last, if you think 1K is not doable, then you can count how many members who have done it.

Thread in the meta section was about poor posting, right? It's not about problem gamblers here, but more about the signature campaign participants. I agree that campaign participants should be able to choose what section they can contribute the most. The five posts requirement in Gambling is easy actually if you are an experienced gambler, but, some of us here is a beginner.
As for the gambling addiction and whatever else, I think most of us already understand that it's about the game and not the profit. We just have to keep an eye for those who said otherwise.

C'mon mate, just like the majority of us here missed Bitcoin in 2009, 2010, etc., when the price was nothing. And yet here we are still crossing our fingers at 8K so that the price increases in the future.
Yes, there must be some regret deep down in our hearts. Some will give up and don't play anymore, but I think the majority would keep playing and looking for the next opportunities. You never know the result if you don't try, right?
PS: just don't overdo it guys, do it responsibly.

Yeah, marketing is important, but not all casinos have a vast amount of budget for marketing. Moreover, I think they are not satisfied yet with the MVP (current product) and want to improve the site first before adding marketing programs. IMO that's why MintDice decided to scale back its signature campaign to be more efficient in this building process.

With big players like PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, abandon the sinking ship, there is zero chance (IMO) Libra can be realized. Only 19 from 26 members still support this project, and I think it will decrease as time passed. Read more: https://www.ft.com/content/68952c0c-f41c-11e9-b018-3ef8794b17c6The government won't let corporations threat their monetary policy. Plus with FATF and MLD5, it's dangerous if people trust their ID to Facebook and its allies.

To be an investor, accredited investor to be precise, (1) you need to learn a lot of things about financial management, economics, risk management, etc., to be well equipped on the battlefield. Or (2) you need to be rich so that it can be said that you already a "veteran." Investing is different from trading (speculation) or putting your money in ICOs. In the broadest sense, you can invest in yourself. Hence, knowledge and that hunger to pursue knowledge, is the most important thing if you want to be an investor. You can invest in your own crypto business, not just casinos or exchanges, but something more significant that hasn't been invented yet. PS: I'm only an educator, so my job is only to inspire (bullshit) you guys. LoL

That big event is coming, we do not know when or what will be the exact causes of the next economic crisis, but what we know is that the system is unsustainable and sooner or later it must fall, at that point it will be irrelevant what the government wants or allows, people will be in survival mode and if that means using this weird currency called bitcoin they have been making fun of for years then that is what they will use regardless of the wishes of the government.
Ah, the doomsayers' arguments. You should take into account: (1) the probability for a severe economic crisis; (2) the probability for (1) followed by a severe political (power) crisis; (3) the probability for (1) & (2) and all the chaos caused, somewhat drive Bitcoin usage. You should read beerlover arguments up there. now better save your money with bitcoin or gold assets because give the same value although have holding for long time.
I'm a hard-boiled dude. I don't need any savings. PS: CryptoTalk bitches, please stop quoting my comment except you really want to address specific things.

I try to find out what the 75 extremely mentally ill and or brain dead bitcointalk accounts who support the scam accusation know?
I know that your username (and your business) itself is a scam. You keep talking about real world. May I know: - Your legal entity; - your license/permit for "protection service" business; - Your office address; and - Your portfolio, list of your court cases.

I'm still afraid to install the application and will wait for the computer version
There is a workaround if you don't want to install this app on your smartphone. You can use an emulator like BlueStacks and install it on your PC. If your PC isn't too shabby, Match365 should run just fine. Match365 provide first bet free for each new register
I see, my apologies. I didn't realize that there was 10 MC coupon when I tried to finish the "new user campaign" task. I lost the bet though, d*mn.

If this happens, then our fiat is Bitcoin backed. Meh, might as well go with Bitcoin instead.
Yep, go ahead and store your Bitcoin in your own wallet. That's the best way to store Bitcoin IMO. The same thing can be done with gold. You can store physical gold by yourself or assign 3rd party to store it for you in a vault. About Bitcoin as a currency, the problem is that the government would not allow Bitcoin to be used as a legal currency. Except something "big" happens, fiat would not disappear anytime soon. Also, improvements (technical) need to be made before Bitcoin can on-board the majority of people on earth.

I agree entirely with boss @yahoo62278 comment up there. Also, the managers review the post at the end of the week. I believe boss @Coolcryptovator, who is new in this space, would give the best impression about his ability at the "counting day."
Besides, this shitposting issue happened quite often actually with other campaigns as well (it's not only about Match365).
Sometimes I want to tell the managers about some users who often shitpost, but I'm afraid that they will get me wrong. So I just reported it as junk or quoted the post and made a joke about it.

That's the beauty of football. It's not black and white on paper since there are a lot of uncertainties involved. The match ended in 1-1 draw surely wipe out the majority of bettors out there. The good news is, Man City is now only six points behind Liverpool.
Ole deserves credit this time, but I hope it won't be enough to secure his job at United.

but altcoin are not that good for paying for something out of this forum, unless you use the biggest altcoin that are very STABLE, it's a matter of stability in price not so much of how many transaction there are, many shitcoin just are there for making bitcoin, this prove also my point
AFAIK, most payment processors (and casinos) now accept BTC, ETH, BCH, etc. compared to BTC, they (altcoins) offer cheaper and faster transaction fees. It's undoubtedly not suitable for store of value, but can be beneficial for purchasing various goods and services over the internet (medium of exchange).
|
|
|
With the current situation, BTC alone won't be able to handle all transactions though. Honestly, I probably use more ETH & EOS in a month than BTC. However, this situation will change dramatically if the lightning network can really work.
I think I heard something about the new Electrum release that would support LN. Definitely a game-changer if it's not buggy.

OP, did you mean this article? https://www.dnb.nl/en/payments/goud/index.jspI think it's only a "marketing effort" by DNB to show how strong their reserves. As stated in the same article: De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) holds more than 600 tonnes of gold. A bar of gold always retains its value, crisis or no crisis. This creates a sense of security. A central bank's gold stock is therefore regarded as a symbol of solidity. and full context: Gold: anchor of trust Shares, bonds and other securities are not without risk, and prices can go down. But a bar of gold retains its value, even in times of crisis. That is why central banks, including DNB, have traditionally held considerable amounts of gold. Gold is the perfect piggy bank – it's the anchor of trust for the financial system. If the system collapses, the gold stock can serve as a basis to build it up again. Gold bolsters confidence in the stability of the central bank's balance sheet and creates a sense of security. Both sources: https://www.dnb.nl/en/payments/goud/index.jsp
AFAIK, central banks have portfolios of different assets as their risk management practice. However, maybe only Venezuela has BTC in its reserves (CMIIW). If BTC becomes more and more mainstream, we could expect more central banks to add BTC into their portfolios.
