I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

To be honest this thing has happened to me like 3-4 times already and the reason was panic selling. The market is extremely volatile atm and there's a huge fluctuation in the price of most of the coins which lead most of the new crypto traders to panic selling and this explains everything. Well, this is seen quite often among people as the price begins to pump and attains a higher value, they invest in it in the hope of getting a higher profit. But the fluctuations in the price are quite frequent and when it declines rapidly, they sell it out of panic in order to cut the losses but this process eventually puts them in a debt... |

Hold your bitcoin to grow is very good decisions. Don't ever believe on spreading this kind of news that bitcoin will dies. It is a temporary rebounce after the dip. Not sure, if it will dip lower sometime soon or if it will go sideways from here. However, my guess is, that the next bull run will still take a while.
Yeah we need to wait for a good rally... although we are still at the bearish market as we can see a big dumps after a little rebound. I hope that this will not go down lower than $6k as we need more buyers to push the price back. Yeah, the price showed some of the inclinations, and now I believe it won't drop below 6k$ as the market had gained some momentum. However, the price is still quite low but that doesn't mean it won't rise any further. So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

Definitely were seeing a lot of support at the $6500 area currently, I expect to rise to $7000 and build more of a floor there.
Yeah, I don't think that it would drop below this since many are still supporting it at this value. Investment for me is better than saving. It may be considered risky but the chances that you'll get high profit is more assured in investing compared to saving.

Even though the market is striking down rapidly but I think it will recover soon let's just be patient and wait for the best to happen. Who knows maybe next month or so the dip could go up, let's just believe and patiently wait.

Hi guys , I read in social media that many people are panicking its because bitcoin dropped every hour and they think they might lose their money because of that .Well for me , there's no need to panic because when bitcoin dropped as its lowest price its a blessing . And also joining in CRYPTO CURRENCY WORLD, you already know what risk you should face , and its a win and win bet when you hold bitcoin . So knowing that some people selling their bitcoin I feel so sorry for them.
