First, welcome to the forum ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) "shitcoin" is basically used to refer to worthless alt coins. Some BTC fanatics would go to the extent to call any coin, except btc, a shit coin.

what can i do to resolve this. i have wrote support but got no responds this is very annoying
Coinbase have a very bad customer service. You are not the first one who complained about it. It may take days before they respond to you. You will have to wait. Eventually they will ask you to verify your identity to unlock your account.

Do you have another source of income? Will you be able to repay your lenders if things turn out badly and you lose what you borrowed? I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.
I believe this is only valid as long as you will be able to repay them. It's your call but personally, I will never do that no matter how confident of winning I am (sh*t happens).

Searching by your name khaled0111 in topic listed in OP, there are no results for your profile. That means you never post there, or your post is for some reason deleted. Another possibility is that you changed your name.
Most likely I didn't stake any address there since my username doesn't appear neither when using the tool Saint-loup provided nor on the list Loycev created. All in all, you don't seem to care too much about the security of your profile, which means that in the event of a hack, you have exactly a 0% chance of getting your profile back. Fortunately, you can easily change that, just sign the address and this time don't forget where the private key is stored.
I do care ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have a staked address on the pinned thread on our local board. I'll stake it in the official thread ASAP. @Saint-loup, thanks for the link.

I have received the frozen airdrop. How can I sell these coins now? Do I need to sign up on their beta exchange platform and do what? There's no specified instructions...
It's so confusing but if I understood it well, you will have to wait for the official release of their exchange KickEx which will happen on Q2 of this year according to their road map. Then, you will have to create an account and verify your identity (KYC). I doubt it will have any value by then.

Check your wallet settings and see what denomination (base unit for bitcoin amount) you are using. If it's mBTC, sat, bits change it to BTC.
That error usually occur when you try to send a very small amount because of missetting the denomination. Servers will reject the transaction and return that error message. If this doesn't solve the problem then consider the above suggestions.

Thank you for the reminder. I remember staking my bitcoin address there but can't find the post. I don't know where I saved the private key for that address too! I started a similar topic on our local board to raise awareness about the importance of the subject. Note: after staking your address, someone else should quote your reply.

It depends on the exchange you are using. Some of them are more lenient and tolerant in such cases and will allow you to withdraw your coins before blocking your account. Most of exchanges will just block your account and seize your funds without any notice. Using a VPN may make things much worse. Better be honnest and try to reach a compromise with them. It may look unethical from their part but there is no much you can do about it as it's your duty to read their TOS.

The problem here is that most users are abusing this privilege that you can't find on other forums. This forum allows the use of alts mainly for the sake of privacy. Whereas the majority of alt accounts are used to cheat bounty campaigns, scam/spam, ban evading... which is a real shame.

The private key needed to sign transactions is saved on the Ledger device and without it you will not be able to move those coins. It's clear from the red icon (on bottom right of Electrum window) that there is no device connected. If it's not your wallet the better forget about it.

I think it should be the other way around. You have to be a gambler or at least know a little about how casinos work before applying to join a signature campaign that requires posting in the gambling section. If you join another sig campaign, will you stop gambling?

The current number of bitcoins in circulation is enough to cover demand and if thete will not be a rise in demand then the next halving wouldn't have any effect on prices. Miners will try to rise prices as the block reward will not be enough to cover their costs. But no one knows if they will be able to do it. So don't expect too much and don't be too optimistic just because of what happened after the previous halvings.

Your topic makes me wonder if there is an app that notifies you about important updates such as swaps of coins you are interested in. It would make our life easier rather than having to follow TG channels, tweets... If anyone knows about such an app, please share it with us.

...Some of the useless bitcoin forks, for example, are not supported by Ledger Live, but have created their own forks of Electrum. ... This is by no means unique to hardware wallets.
this is what I was suspecting as Electrum only supports bitcoin and it doesn't matter where you store your coins to receive the reward. It hasn't to be a ledger. Correct me if am wrong but I believe you will receive the reward for staking Tezos even if you don't use Ledger since it's a POS token.
|
|
|
I didn't use Ledger before but what do you mean by saying you can manage more coins by using Electrum? Also, I never heard of the reward you are talking about!
50$ to 100$ for a secure and reliable hardware wallet isn't really expensive. A safe case to save your cash money and jewelry would cost much more.

I wonder what it will be like after Halving? I constantly see extremely exaggerated price forecasts and if after Halving the price drops, it is capable of many people having a nervous breakdown.
there were 2 bitcoin block reward halvings already. After each one of them, bitcoin price skyrocketed. According to Binance, bitcoin price before the 1st halving was around 12$ and went up to 650$ just before the 2nd halving. Let's hope that history repeats itself. But, I think that Binance Academy site is the accurate one,
not sure if we can call it the most accurate as it keeps fluctuating based on the avetage time between blocks and hence don't give a fixed date!
|
|
|
Exactly. The market cap by circulating supply is more accurate than the one by total supply when determining the value of a coin. Still, it can't be considered as a reliable metric because of price manipulation.
