4701  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful customer support doesn't respond on: June 09, 2020, 03:36:32 PM
I made a Paxful account 7 months ago,but the Paxful website was kinda slow and caused my browser to crash often so I decided to delete this account. After 5 days,I decided to use Paxful,so instead of creating a brand new account,I logged into my old account.Surprisingly my old account wasn't deleted.
I had to verify my phone number, but the verification failed, because my old phone number was already in their system.

To save you from hassle, why not just consider creating a brand new account with a new number instead?

No need to wait for them to respond and you can use the service right away.

But yes, as always even at any platform, expect the delay of response to ticket query. No choice but to wait if you really want to use the number you used before.
4702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Million dollar advice for trader's 🙂 on: June 09, 2020, 12:23:49 AM

That advice is more of a psychological-related. Don't have a connection with how to win trades. It should be obvious that traders should not reach the point wherein their trading activity now affected their family life in a negative way. We should be relaxed, still on our minds, and can cope with whatever struggle we encounter while doing trades.

But not just because we are good outside trading life, it will always yield good results in the long run on our trading activities. To win with trades, we must have the ability to create a good strategy at any given trend. Being a good person just contributes that we are responsible traders despite being busy in doing trades.

If you try to avoid lose, then the profit will come automatically

In the volatile world of crypto, you can't avoid losing. Even professional traders still lose today.

What you need to do is to minimize it while building a good winning stats.

Spurs made a wrong decision.

San Antonio Spurs trade Kawhi Leonard to Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan, others

Leonard is a special player, while DeRozan is good but inconsistent, this is one of the big mistake the Spurs made in their franchise.
If they have traded Leonard to someone else, a star of course, Spurs might still has a good chance to be in the playoff spot now.

It's not a wrong decision by the Spurs. It's honestly good and better for the team in the long-run. There's no point in keeping a player that isn't interested anymore to play for the team. Kawhi loves that trades. Just too bad for DeRozan as he truly loves the city of Toronto Raptors and that trade really surprised him.

It's unfair to just point it out to DeRozan why Spurs will not make it into playoffs.

We can obviously see that the team is really struggling this season. The competition in the West is also tough.

4705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Bitcoins Online Casinos on: June 08, 2020, 10:49:07 PM

Good to see that you have group bitcoin casinos and online casinos that only accept fiat  for proper sorting.

However, I've just noticed there are sites under bitcoin casinos that also in online casinos (fiat). You might want to check it out.

For a quick check, the site is good. Plain and simple with no annoying ads.
4706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 08, 2020, 05:24:30 PM
I think the PBA has to return, NBA are going to return soon, that is despite the fact that US has the biggest number of cases in the entire world, and actually Las Vegas casino was already open.

Therefore, if other country can do it, I think with strict measures, PBA can resume their season.

Philippines has 21,340 confirmed cases, while USA has 1,920,061, and yet they didn't close businesses because they know the economy will suffer more.

Got the picture mate. I'm also, as always, on the idea that PBA will resume this year. I even mentioned before, might be on other threads, that if some sports activities in other countries already slowly coming back, PH should do the same.

What I meant on that post you have quoted is, IATF is not allowing sports events and activities that involve many players under GCQ. The only allow sports events on that status are those non-contact sports. So regardless of how large the difference of US cases (currently @ 2,013,600) to PH (22,474) as your example and even PBA proposes to allow them to goes back under GCQ even with the best-of-best strict safety measures and protocols, it won't be granted. So in here, the status of Manila should be shifted first into MGCQ for them to allow resume but since daily numbers are increasing, it might not be considered by the IATF. Hopefully and cross-fingers, within the next 2 months, we can now see a declining number of confirmed cases and situations got better.

Anyways, I only point Manila here which is currently under GCQ, since PBA events and activities are mostly done in Manila. I don't know what will be the catch if PBA will consider resuming on other regions that currently on MGCQ status if Manila will still stay under the status of GCQ until the PBA announcement (August).

They will be affected if the PBA will not resume soon, we know that they are earning well but their standard of living has change as well, so they are still slave with their salary that they need to earn in order to survive. Pandemic was never expected, but I hope it will give them a lesson to always ensure savings as our future is always uncertain.

Yes, we are all affected here. If other PBA players are in jeopardy about their salary, just imagine, how much worst for an average minimum earner and those contractual workers.

Quote
By August 31, more players will have their contracts expired including stars such as San Miguel Beer’s Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot, Alaska’s Jeron Teng, Rome Dela Rosa of Magnolia, Meralco’s John Pinto, the NorthPort duo of Paolo Taha and Nico Salva, and Phoenix’s Jake Pascual and Dave Marcelo.

I don't know the financial status of the other mentioned players but I think Jeron Teng came from a rich family. Alex Cabagnot, aside from being an already rich, is a part-owner of several businesses. Arwind Santos is also living in a luxury life now after years of hard work as a PBA player. Somehow they can afford to lose "a job" even for 1 year. Whew, I hope "all" lol.

Don't fret yet but I guess I know where to find them because those modded versions will never be released on something like playstore and I think PHCorner was the most active forum for such thing.

Correct, it will never be released on an official store as these games are modified. I hope someday there will be an official game dev that is dedicated to PBA.

As @asu said, we have the "Pormadaraska" PBA Slam. This game is already years in my backup phone as one of my "Kill Time" game before and guess what, game devs here are active and the update is continuous. I already finish the season with Brgy. Ginebra, San Miguel, and Talk N Text and purchase lots of stuff on their store. Cheesy

4708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A day to celebrate and pay tribute to casinos? on: June 07, 2020, 11:37:28 PM
I think there should be a day to celebrate and pay thanks to casinos who give us so much benefits and in return they handle so much criticism and society's curses, peoples cursed etc. But all they do is provide us thrill, entertainment, sometimes profit too. And they make money like any other business should.

That's the purpose of why they established a casino right? To provide entertainment, thrill, excitement, and possible profit.

They need to show good service in order to maintain their users while at the same time, can lead to positive reviews that might attract new users.

Anyways, there might be some wrong words used here that OP used out of confusion. May I know your definition of "tribute"? If that's a literal paying honor to the said website, then you might want to consider locking this thread.
4709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 06, 2020, 09:52:02 PM
For the West, I think Spurs will make it, I trust coach Pop in crucial situation like this, then they will upset the Lakers.  Grin

Even refs will participate just to make the Spurs win every game, it's difficult to imagine that they will able to secure the 8th spot. While they will try to win every game, obviously teams above them are also doing the same. Like I said here before, this might be the season that Spurs 22 consecutive playoffs appearances will now be broken.

As for Pelicans, Zion should try to stay healthy. Remember that they are almost out of the playoffs discussion not until Zion return. I even put up a bet here if they will make it to the playoffs but no one accepts my deal until to the deadline I set Cheesy I might not repeat that again as Pelicans chances to 8th spot possible.

For the Nets fans waiting for Durant to play, he's already ruled out playing for the 2019-2020 season. I guess he learned how not to rush in while recovering from an injury when he was in GS. Good choice. Kevin Durant confirms he won't return for NBA restart

And besides, that is expected already so should be no surprise to his fans. Even without the pandemic virus, he is already expected to return the next NBA season. He needs a long rest and shows something good next year as Nets already gambled a 1 year for that.
4710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 06, 2020, 09:19:30 PM
Maybe we can make a discussion on this particular betting plan in our local so it will not derail the thread, once it's finalize, we can put the criteria here so everyone can see and I think we can welcome non local posters if they like to participate.

I agree but since PBA doesn't have a bit of update, few posts about the betting can also be made here.

But yes, as bisdak, we have to wait for the announcement of the PBA first then from there we can now proceed into a pure discussion about the betting which now can be done in local. Count me in on that betting, as always.

Going back to PBA:

So whether the PBA will continue or not, the Board of Governors is asking recommendations to IATF if they will allow team practice with of course practicing health measures.

As per IATF, sports activities will only be allowed on Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). With the numbers still growing every day, I doubt Manila will shift to MGCQ from GCQ. I even believed it will be revert back to MECQ. I think if the numbers will keep increasing within the whole month of July, I will expect that PBA will not resume as they set up a timeframe to decide until August (October is the target date if the decision to resume will be made on August so 2 months preparations).
4711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THINGS THAT CAN'T BE TAUGHT IN TRADING on: June 05, 2020, 08:51:37 PM
No matter the number of videos you watch on this, you need to learn your psychology by Yourself! This is just a fact!

That's why having an experience is the best foundation in doing trades. Build it up.

Even you lose, even you wrecked, even you got sh*t along the way - just continue and don't give up.

To be a good trader, it will take time. There's no overnight success. So let's put it this way; "study - actual trades - familiarizing - test strategies - see the result". As progressing, everyone will now reach the point wherein they able to do strategy on their own. That's the product of their continuous trading as they experienced every problem on the way and work on how to deal with those.[/i].

What other things can't be taught in trading?

Making strategies.

Traders have different ways to play with the market. That's why I always say to newbies that don't just follow but instead, take those other strategies as reference and pointers.
4712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 05, 2020, 07:59:14 PM
Pacman couldn't even knock out Adrien Broner... Do you really think that GGG wouldn't have stopped Broner COLD?

Pacman is also struggling to maintain his knockout ratio lately—only one KO in his last 10 fights, and that was against glass-chin Lucas Matthysse. For comparison, GGG knocked out both Vanes Martirosyan and Steve Rolls lately, and only narrowly lost against the GOAT Canelo. Before that, he was blitzing out everyone and still has a knockout rate of over 80%.

I honestly think Pacman would be stupid to take on this fight, though it would definitely be a huge payday. I expect GGG will deliver a brutal KO the likes Pacman has never seen before.

Got the picture you are pointing. But let's not conclude things right away as looking for Pacman's opponent's past fight is not actually a good reference if Pacman can able to handle it. The way you are describing the fight of GGG, you got carried away to the point that Pacman is just a chicken compare to GGG.

I see Triple G has more of the advantages, no doubt about that, and he is used to bout on middleweight class (154-160lb). I'm not blind at his deadly performance and his record tells it all how deadly he is. But it doesn't mean that Pacman can't handle him.

I really don't like to discuss technical details until the fight has clear progress to happen. If this match will clearly set, let's do gambling here, you for GGG and I'm for Pacman.
4713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 05, 2020, 07:38:20 PM

Better than nothing. Others might say what is 1 year of waiting for the vaccine to be made but that statement is not as simple as it is. Just look how hard the pandemic virus brings to the economy within just a few months so what's more for a year. And besides, and experts give us a possible timeframe period and not an accurate date when the vaccine will be made. It's likely that even for 1 year, no vaccine will be made (although I hope it's not).

We have to accept that we have to deal with the "new normal" starting from now. Really expect big changes in all sectors, businesses, and industries including the sports industry. As long as the strict guidelines are followed, I'm sure it's not risky to reopen as others think.

We also need to do our part in terms of maintaining safety measures and health and not just to point out that these reopened industries might just lead into another infection. Stay at home if possible and let organizers bring the entertainment directly to our household.
4714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 05, 2020, 06:56:59 PM

Fighting at 160, GGG has the advantage. But as always, Pacquiao is proven to be more aggressive when fighting at the top weight class. I can't say that 160 is safe (as Roach considered it as risk) but if Pacquaio really wants it, I'm on him.

There are only a few boxers who still want to do something more on their career even they are almost in the retirement period.

GGG is deadly. Pacman is deadly. Hard to speculate who has the advantage. There are lots of times Pacquaio surprised everyone especially when he was considered an underdog on the match.

One thing for sure, I like to see this match badly. The time now for another great fight to witness.

However, this is just more of a "plan" for now. Not even at 1% progress.
4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 05, 2020, 06:32:42 PM
For fairness. Example: Pelicans take the 8th seed and Grizzlies suddenly went on 9th. They will have the opportunity to play against the 8th spot as long as there are only 4 wins differential.

Am I right?

Yes. The 9th seed would have a chance for 8th spot or last playoffs spot if they are just behind 4 games win on the 8th spot.

That would be decided in a twice-to-beat advantage of the 8th spot and win-or-go-home for the 9th spot.

Here, teams at the bottom should just need to target at least 8th spot or 9th spot in the standings so somehow be alive in playoffs position.

I like to see that in-play tournament and honestly, looking how closed the battle of the bottom on the West, it's likely to happen compared to East.
4716  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex - source of funds on: June 05, 2020, 06:09:05 PM

Here in our country, the most popular local crypto-exchange here requests for those queries as part of the mandate by our country's Central Bank. In the past, it can only be triggered if someone hit the "alarm" but today, I think the majority of their users now required to submit such queries. I comply with that as I regularly used that exchange, not just for crypto but for other services as well, and no-hassle or worries hitting the alarm unlike before that for just around $1,000 or $2,000 withdrawal in a single transaction, there is likely you will be asked for an interview right away lol.

Going back to Bittrex, I never log in to the site for long, same as you, and never received such email.

It's up to you to decide, do you use them regularly? Do you currently have active funds there? If NO, then simply don't comply and stay away from that exchange aside from the fact that other users here don't have a good experience using that exchange.
4717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 05, 2020, 05:44:54 PM

I'm in favor of the re-opening of land-based casinos. Businesses should always be back even slowly. The number of cases is increasing every day but it's unfair that just because casinos will be re-opened, others will think of this as they will probably add some risks. Surely, not all are eager to play at the casinos so no need to criticize them. The eagerness of people to go out and find ways to support their families are the ones that will contribute more to the infection especially in the essential businesses. They have no choice to the point that they will disregard the safety measures which we can actually see every day.

Well if the IATF allowed the reopening of land-based casinos, then it's up to the casino operators whether to open immediately or not. But of course, they also need to imply strict safety protocols to ensure that everyone in the facility is safe. I guess they will only allow casinos if they will provide information on how they will apply the protocols for the new normal. And deciding whether to gamble or not is still yours at the end of the day, just make sure you'll be extra careful because going outside is already a risk.

Even without the strict guidelines by IATF, casinos will surely implement a strict protocol. They are strict even before pandemic so what's more if they will re-opened. Plus the fact that they will only allow limited capacity, that's a good safety measure.

Yes, you are right. IATF will not just allow casinos to re-opened without proving information about safety measures.

They should really focus on the more important matter compared to this terror bill because people won't stop protesting unless they will not pass this bill.

That discussion should not be addressed here. It's more of self-opinion, at least in my own view.

We can't just protest or say what we want without understanding and knowing the deep information about that bill.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 05, 2020, 05:22:52 PM

Interesting topic you brought here, especially that we can now witness a new normal scene in any of the sports events.

To answer generally the subject, "YES", being in a homecourt advantage is still an advantage. Not as hype as before as fans cheer really boost player's confidence (I've been in a live basketball game (PBA) several times here in our country and audience impact is really a big factor) but there's still habit that once you are playing at home, we feel energized.

I don't know the actual new setup for other sports but I will share my view in the NBA. In the NBA, there will be no home-away court since all teams will play in one venue. That's right, no travel, no audience (or less), etc. - all in one venue. In here, we can now remove the advantage of being in a homecourt and they just have to always play hard.

Browsing a few pages, I also read that one of the advantages of being in a homecourt is less travel.

Actually, that's not the case most of the time. If a home team came from away team, it's no difference at all, they will still travel going back to their home then vice-versa. The only time it will be an advantage to the team is, if they will play on a home team consecutively but that's not the case most of the time (basketball).

That's a lot of good news about Abueva, I'm with you hoping that the commissioner will look into it.

here's the interview of Willie Marcial and ask about the status of Calvin Abueva.

According to him, "may pinapagawa ako sa kanya, kapag naayos niya yon, malamang babalik na siya"... not the exact words but the content of his statement, so meaning, Abueva was given a specific task that he needs to comply so for sure it's not hard to do it.

That was way back 3 months ago and I think it was discussed before here.

Marcial also said that it's up to Abueva if he will say something about the task in public. That's why I don't get why Abueva's wife is outraging back then in social media if she already knows what the task (well, they're spouse so I don't think Abueva will not tell his wife about that lol). She said that what else Abueva should do in order to lift his suspension.

But several months have been passed, I believed that specific "task" was already done. Again, "I believed".

I bet we can see him now once PBA resumed. Smiley

You have a bookmaker skills mate, I guess that would be the line if the series will indeed go for the Mavericks vs Clippers.
Mavericks only needs to win 2 games to win the series, they just need to win both home court and you'll win your bet, go with it but don't go all in.  Grin

I doubt sportsbooks will provide that kind of advantage for Dallas Mavericks if ever they will faced the Los Angeles Clippers in the playoffs. It's rare for me to see a +2 advantage of the series in the sportsbook especially if the teams involved are both dominant. But I'm not saying that isn't possible.

What I'm seeing here is, around @2 for Mavericks to take the series. And around @3 if Clippers were able to hold down Mavericks into 1-0 or 2-0 lead. Whatever the odds, expect me to bet on Mavericks series prior Game 1 then will put some extra bucks per game but still on series. That's what I always do especially during Cavaliers vs Warriors Finals (@3 Cavs to win the series prior to Game1 and @7 after Cavs 1-3*) and Raptors vs Warriors Finals (@3 Raptors prior Game 1 and... dam I already forgot*). Then several series match based on my interest.

*- if I recall correctly.
