4701  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance unveils its Bitcoin debit card in Europe and UK on: July 14, 2020, 08:26:40 PM
Thanks for sharing this news. Interesting. There is not many good Bitcoin debit cards in the market and nothing surprising that Binance see open niche there. And I think they can deliver good product. Now I'm waiting for more details about card and when it will be released. Ibwould be interested to order this card.
4702  Other / Meta / Re: Am I the oldest member here? on: July 14, 2020, 08:00:26 PM
I read this thread, and I see some replies when people said that they thought that theymos is 60 years old or something similar. I'm curious, why you thought so? Because when I didn't knew his age, I didn't even thought that he is old man. I thought that he was about 30-40 years old when he started here.
I believe LoyceV can somehow scrape all of the ages shown in profiles [in this forum] then simply lists them here
I could, but it seems excessive to scape 2.8 million profiles just to find out who's the oldest.
And I think it would be pointless thing because only smart part of users have added their age to their profiles. While many others have added some other numbers, which is definitely not their age.
4703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think online casinos can effectively prevent underage gambling? on: July 14, 2020, 07:48:06 PM
I don't think that online casinos can prevent children from gambling. If someone really want to gamble, he will find ways to do it. I also was underage when I first time registered on sportsbooks and I didn't had any issues. As you said, they simply can use their parents documents and bank statements. They also can change their birthdate on ID card using photoshop (though, this can be considered as crime?. Finally, they simply can buy KYC verified account. There is no effective way to prevent from it.

Did you as a child want to tell your parents about everything you were doing when you were that age - your first kiss, smoke, drink, drugs - whatever it was there was always something you kept from your parents.  Youth today have a mobile phone from their early teens (sometimes younger) they'll get and share apps with their friends at school, so you have no way of knowing whether or not they are chatting, gambling or anything else with strangers online.  Online safety begins at home, yes Casino's (if they are registered in a jurisdiction) will have an obligation to put up warnings, but can't be expected to do the parents job for them.
Oh yes, I don't think that parents should track every step of their children online. They aren't adults, but they have right for privacy after all. I wouldn't like if my parents would have tried to track what I do online or what I do when I meet friends. They rather should educate children about potential dangers, including gambling.

I hate the idea of government babysitting people.
Kids play can't play in casinos because government thinks they know what is good for them. If the kid got money, probably that's because he father gave it to them. Let them play whatever they want.

No KYC is amazing for freedom.
So, you would like if your 12 year children would start to gamble online and get addiction to gambling? I also don't like government control and KYC, but I don't think children should gamble when they got money from parents. At least until they reach certain age, something like 16, when they are clever enough to understand all risks.
4704  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lockdown easing - I'm back in the cafe on: July 14, 2020, 07:17:38 PM
Wow. Looks like from where you're from, policies have been eased. That's actually good to know. It's a sign that things are slowly going back to normal.
Yes, indeed we are living normal live. For example there was just 1 new case of COVID-19 in whole country. Unfortunately, situation isn't so good in other parts of world.
There is only one bad thing remains - if you're not infected with covid, it's almost impossible to get into hospital. So, if you have other health issues, you're in big trouble.

Wow, you are really brave man, if you are challenging cafe. More than 250K new cases daily worldwide should  at least have given you an alert. "The madness of the brave deserves  a song", as they say, take care of yourself.
Number of new cases worldwide is huge, but does 60k new cases in USA or 7000 cases in Brazil  rrally puts you in danger when you are living in Europe? And what you're offering to do? Should we sit down at home until magical vaccine will be found?
4705  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Human trials of corona virus vaccine on: July 13, 2020, 08:24:20 PM
I'm not anti-vaxer or something, but I'm a bit sceptical about vaccine for coronavirus and I doubt that I'm going to use it. First, I'm not sure that's possible to create both safe and effective vaccine in such short frame of time.
And I had read somewhere that there is different strains of coronavirus coronavirus, so vaccine may not help. But I'm not sure how reliable this information is.
Also, if second wave will happen, there may be mutations of virus, same like we have new mutations of flu each season and new vaccine is needed every year. If there will be new mutations of Covid-19, this vaccine simply will not work.
And I have strong immunity system, I never use flu vaccine and I didn't even had cold in recent years. I think some commom sense and things like hygiene and distance may be enough to protect yourself from virus.
4706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 13, 2020, 07:53:36 PM
He is young and he is (was) in a competitive team.
Do you remember Verstappen 2 years ago? He was crashing into ANYone. Give him some time he is talented as few.

He is stronger than Vettel, stronger than a 4times World Champions.

The question is, is Vettel strong or he won only because the RedBull is strong like the Mercedes Today?

2019
7 poles VS 2 poles

Yeah, sometimes Leclerc reminds me what Verstappen was doing few years ago. He is still very young and some of his nistakes is understandable because lack of experience and other factors. But I'm not sure that we can say that he is already better than Vettel. Yes, he have more poles and a bit more poles. But he did quite a lot mistakes, but people tend to forget it and focus on what Vettel did wrong.
I don't think that Vettel won all his titles just because he had best car.
4707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 13, 2020, 07:40:23 PM
We already know first team promoted from Segunda to La Liga. It's Cadiz. I wanted to see this team in La Liga for some time already.
With 2 round remaining, Huesca would return to La Liga too, while Almeria, Zaragoza, Girona and Fuenlabrada would play in playoffs for last spot. But situation still may change in remaining rounds.
Shit^100!
Villareal lost its game 1 - 2 vs Real Sociedad Cry
Alaves 0 - 0 vs Getafe after +9 additional minutes Cry Cry
Sad, now it is up to Madrid to completely ruin the day!
Damn, at least I decided to skip these games. If Madrid will win, they will definitely will ruin day for me. Despite that I don't believe anymore in Barcelona chanches to win league, gift from Granada would be nice to keep little hope alive.
4708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 13, 2020, 07:29:49 PM
@tomahawk9, I'm not surprised about this decision at all. Unfortunately, it's all about the money. If some small club would be in same situation as City, I can't imagine same court decision. Well, but seems that rules aren't same for everyone, especially if you have deep pockets.
P.S. I have nothing against City players and especially Pep Guardiola, but City shouldn't play in next season Champions league.
4709  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lockdown easing - I'm back in the cafe on: July 13, 2020, 07:17:58 PM
Good news to hear that life returns to normal eventually. After lockdown, I first visited cafe back in May and now I'm visiting it on regular basis. And back in June, they ended whole quarantine. It's such great feeling to live normal life without any restrictions and without being forced to wear mask. I also had visited football stadium several times already to watch some matches, I missed that atmosphere a lot.
I'll have vacations in end of July - start of August and I started to look for flight tickets, maybe to Spain or Italy.
In Europe situation in general is under control now. But there is no signs that other continents will return to normal life soon, especially South and North America.
4710  Economy / Services / Re: How not to pay taxes on Bitcoin on: July 12, 2020, 08:23:15 PM
C'mon, if you don't pay taxes, you're not stealing from government, you're stealing from yourself. Tax is used to pay for healthcare system, education, roads repairing and etc. So, tax evasion isn't something good and it's illegal thing. Offcourse, you can try to look for loopholes by selling Bitcoins for fiat. But if it's big money and you will want to buy something expensive like car or house, I wish you good luck because you probably will face problems.
4711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you an E-Toro customers? You need to read this on: July 12, 2020, 08:02:42 PM
Thanks for sharing these news. I don't use E-Toro, but it's popular trading platform and I think that many people here use it. And looking at all things in general - reputation of this user in hackers forum, history of other his hacks, it doesn't looks like fake thing.
So, if you're using this platform, changing your passeord is must do thing. Better safe than sorry. And it would be best to set up 2FA if you're not using it already.
4712  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: July 12, 2020, 07:38:29 PM
Whats a non ? . . . . and how come original poster here , on this bitcointalk thread , says its new in 2017 , when another thread has already been runnng for 3 years . . lol .
I bet Coinpot person or people , do check the threads sometimes , just to see what the chats about , wouldn't you if Coinpot was your business ?
I started this topic on the same day when Coinpot was launched in 2017 (probably I should update topic title because it's not so new anymore). Coinpot actually have official topic, it was started day later than this one:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2007856.0
But as you see, it's locked. And their account was last active back in February. So, I'm not sure, does owner follow this topic or no.
And it's interesting about Reddit. It's strange that it was created few years before launch of Coinpot.
4713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 12, 2020, 07:25:56 PM
^ I agree about thoughts about Leclerc. He is very talented driver, but his behaviour is something what I don't like. And I just feel sorry for Seb because this season will be very difficult for him. It's something like living with your ex.
I think Red Bull made mistake with such early pit stop. Even Max asked why they made pit stop so early. With old tyres he had no chance to defend against Bottas.
Next weekend we will have Hungarian GP and it's quite boring track. Good that we have only 1 race there Cheesy.
Both Bottas and Leclerc violated the terms on Corona rules and even more why did Hamilton drink from the bottle and then he sprays his team with it ? That was not so smart , right ?
Only Leclerc violated terms, Bottas didn't left his "social bubble" when he returned back home to Monaco.
4714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 12, 2020, 11:05:10 AM
It's going to be extremely interesting to see what happens to Barcelona after Messi retires. Because right now Messi is carrying the team almost every match, either by scoring goals or offering assists. He has 22 goals and 20 assists this season. Real Madrid did great after Ronaldo left but I'm not sure what's going to happen with Barcelona. Suarez is also 33 years old, so he will also be gone with Messi. Barcelona spent a ton of money on Coutinho, Griezmann and Dembele more than €120M on each of them. Dembele was injured almost all season, Coutinho was loaned to Bayern München(came back 1 week ago) and Griezmann didn't look great. We'll have to wait until we can see all of them in the squad. There is definitely a ton of talent to this squad but the coach has to find a formula that could work somehow because talent is not enough.
I don't agree that Real did great after Ronaldo left. You probably forget how they were struggling previous season. They ended 3rd in league with just 68 points collected and loosing against bottom table teams was nothing unusual then. They also were eliminated from Champions league by Ajax early and ended season without trophies. So, it took some time for them to learn to play without Ronaldo.
But yeah, it's interesting what will happen to Barca after Messi will retire. It's obvious that Barca isn't ready for it yet...
4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 11, 2020, 10:30:44 PM
Damn, seems it was interesting qualifying in wet conditions, unfortunately I wasn't at home to watch it. But as I see, tomorrow race will be dry probably. Haven't followed what's going on in recent days, but after looking at Ferrari results, seems they haven't prepared upgrade for Styrian GP, right?
BTW, now I watch IndyCar race, and I see that there is lot of spectators in the track. Situation with corona is worse in US than in Europe, but they are still held race with spectators. Why F1 can't let at least limited number spectators to watch race in track.
4716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 11, 2020, 10:22:22 PM
It's really difficult to tell something about today's Barcelona game. Yes, we won, but it's probably only positive thing from this game. It was difficult to watch such performance against Valladolid, who are just mediacore team.
Atletico won in their typical style 1:0, despite that they had to play with 10 men for more than 30 mins, after Hermoso got red card. Now they officially guaranteed place in Champions league next season.
4717  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: July 10, 2020, 11:42:07 PM
Here's another brain twister

this is not too horrible but this is the main reason many people stop being bounty hunters Grin. but don't worry too much because not all projects launched end in a scam and thorough first before participating. although many projects don't pay, but don't make that's a as reason to stop being a bounty hunter because not all projects don't pay. keep up the bounty hunter's spirit.
Hmm, a little bit confusing but I still got his point somehow. Let me try on this one.

I think what he meant is this.. Scam project is one of the main reasons why bounty hunters stop but it is not as bad as what you think (huh??). Don't worry too much because not all projects launched ended up a scam but researching (that's what he meant on the word "thorough") is still a must. Though many of them don't pay, that's not enough reason to quit bounty hunting. Keep up the bounty hunter's spirit!

Any interpretations Grin?
Yeah, I understood it pretty much same like you. Well, at least this post makes sense and I didn't had problems to understand what did he meant.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: July 10, 2020, 10:44:00 PM
I agree with guys who are saying that single game gives advantage to underdogs. It's just 90 minutes of football. While in 2 leg series, teams with better and more deep squad have advantage.
And I agree about Atalnta, maybe I will even make bet for their win. It's enough to see how they are playing after restart - 6 wins in 6 games. While PSG didn't played for so long, it will be difficult for them to return in action. BTW, Lyon are same situation. Otherwise I wouldn't write them off against Juventus.
And single leg fixtures is bad for our pool - it means there will be less games, what makes too difficult to change our positions. Now it's impossible to reach @big_daddy
What's annoying though is that they've seemingly arranged all the games to kick off at the same time. What's the point in that? There's four games kicking off at the same time on the 12th. Now we've gotta choose which game. They should have played them all on different days to maximise viewing.
Where did you find it. I see that all quarterfinals will be played at different days, on 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th.
4719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 10, 2020, 10:21:39 PM
I think that Atalanta may be happy that they got PSG. Offcourse, PSG is much stronger on paper, but they didn't had official games since March. It's difficult to expect that they will be in best condition. While Atalanta is playing amazing football, they didn't dropped single point after restart. If they will continue to play like now, I think they have good chances.
Potential quarterfinal Barca - Bayern. Well, first we have to kick out Napoli and it will be tough. Don't even talk about Bayern - they are playing probably best football in Europe right now. I'm sceptical about our chances against them.
Atletico - Leipzig looks too difficult to predict, while Juventus is favorites, especially because Lyon in same boat as PSG now.
I'm not going to talk about potential semifinals, too early. And don't forget there will be just one game, so chances for upsets is bigger.
4720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What or how does it feels to grow in rank?! on: July 10, 2020, 09:39:28 AM
I already had high rank when merit system was launched, so I haven't rank up yet, despite that I earned over 350 merit, so I can't tell how it feels. I still need almost 150 merit Cheesy. But I'm not very emotional person, so I can imagine my reaction when I will see that I got Legendary rank. I would react with calm face expression "oh, wow, finally" Cheesy.
