Think at all those hundreds of ICOs which have raised millions of dollars worth of ETH each. Some of them, like the scammish Envion, even 100M$.
Now in this bear market they see their wealth evaporate. They need FIAT since they are real world projects and they need FIAT to pay for infrastructures.
So they cannot simply watch at all those millions $ EVAPORATE and jeopardizing their projects.
It is true they have raised Millions $ but now those millions $ are shrinking further and further and so I guess THEY are panic selling and crashing the price.

No' it's not the real reason why ethereum has plunged a lot. remember when EOS was dumping all of their ethereum to the market and it's worth more than the total ethereum that has been raised by all of icos it's more than 1.6 millions ethereum. If these kind of kyc collecting work not done by exchange people can create multiple accounts with same name and same addresses.
They can't remember in KYC verification and these users need to verify its identity through use the photos. that could be a difficult thing to see the guy try to create multiple accounts. You are too negative on what crypto is. If you are really investing in crypto, you should not spread FUDs on the community. Are you aware that legit ICI will burn the unsld tokens to avoid dumping? Another thing is, you can see the total supply of the token of an ICO in it contract address, so there is no chance that they will dump the unsold tokens during the exchange listing. Today I have received one of those, it has been long since the last time I got one so I thought I post it here to give a warning to new users and also because the email I got did not go to junk mail, so someone might really fall in this trap. First of all please flag the email if you received one. Here is how the email looks like.  It will have a title like ( My Ethereumwallet security update) something along this line. So please do not fall into this trap and stay safe.  I'm sure it's not only the method that has been used by the scammer, i have seen yesterday there was a scammer that try to spread the fake site MEW on this forum and i have reported him as a suspicious link. I believe that was another scam or phishing site that interested to steal your money. I never try to open any suspicious email in my inbox. It's too risky for me personally. |
