Recently, the market has shown that bitcoin is set for a bull run. Yet, the ethereum chart is showing that,ethereum is feebly struggling to even maintain it's current price. What do you say about this? Why hasn't ethereum followed suit?

Currently more than 47% Bitcoin dominance in the market, and this mean many trader sell their altcoin for Bitcoin. And so far not any new money come in to the crypto market, that why the price of altcoin going down. This crypto market need new money so the price will possible to going up.

It's waiting for the money to flow back in. Whatever happened to cause the great dump appears to be finally over so I think Bitcoin will jump first and after that everyone is going to flood into the #1 altcoin ETHEREUM.

Ethereum just waiting for the bitcoin to get another momentum before ETF announcement and there will be a huge pump in the future and i guess that will be very close before ETF announcement by SEC. Ethereum has been planning another improvement to its protocol at the middle of times month. it's called byzantium update. |

Bitcoin in control by those who have assets. While ethereum can’t follow because ethereum unlimited. I also reading newspapers that a lot of token that support with ethereum was in correction, maybe it makes the price ethereum difficult to rise.

every altcoin has its own place in the community, how they view the altcoin will they become prima donnas in a society like bitcoin which we know is very sturdy at its peak even no one can override it, and also lots of trading using bitcoin as an eye too ethereum's cause is difficult to rise

Bitcoin may potentially be set for a Bull run but it has not yet started. We have seen many failed attempts to launch this year and until that pattern is broken you should not expect too much from the rest of the coins. Bitcoin still holds the key when it comes to price movements in crypto.

All coins are affected and ETH is among them. You have to be patient to wait for the market to recover because at present ETH prices are very cheap and may be the cheapest price this year. Instead of thinking negatively about ETH, you should consider a good investment in ETH because I believe that ETH prices will soon rise again in September. |

I think it's waiting for Bitcoin to be honest. Bitcoin runs this show so I think we are waiting for it to get some momentum. Once that happens we will be off to the races. The only question is which alt coins will gain the most percentage wise vs Bitcoin. Thats where the newly enriched people will be.

Not sure what is going on with Ethereum recently. But I am still holding both my bitcoin and ethereum. I have enough patient and enough time, no rush, I will continue until the market recovers, no matter it is a few months or a few years.

just wait until ethereum recovers, for now ethereum still can't beat bitcoin because many investors who choose bitcoin become one of their investment places, well hopefully etherum can still maintain its price |

That certainly could affect the ethereum price as a whole in the market but when the market decide that bitcoin will have stronger dominance over altcoins that means a no chance for ETH. doesnt mean there's no opportunity for eth to increase its price with the upgrade or even switching over to PoS but maybe a little bit harder. |
