4701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: December 04, 2019, 03:09:07 PM
Some brief thoughts on this subject:
I noticed that speculators often do a lot of speculating. With that said, is it possible to focus on speculating only, reading nothing else but all the speculating topics and then somehow becoming better at speculating than others?
Anyone can form a theory and the meaning of speculation is to form a theory without any evidence and hence everyone can be a speculator and everyone can start their own theory and if millions of people speculate about a certain event, then someone will have a correct prediction.
There is no expertise in speculating as far as i know.
All the speculations are calculated guess formulated to theories some of the speculators would backed it up with some lagging indicators thus relate their speculations with TA while others are mere guessing without any proof, its very difficult to predict the price of cryptos without any sentiments.
4702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If she becomes a US senator next week, will Bitcoin thrive even more? on: December 04, 2019, 02:00:06 PM
Surely she would be a proponent and advocator for the recognition of Bitcoin in the Senate however she must have a full support and backing of other senators before any tangible decision, hearing and deliberations about the adoption of Bitcoin can be heard, however her possible entrance into the Senate is a welcome development and as a Bitcoin enthusiast definitely Bitcoin is going to gain more recognition.
4703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have there been any money laundering schemes that used cryptocurrency? on: December 03, 2019, 04:19:48 PM
thinking that it is very difficult to follow the transaction trail, and the existence of a mixer system in bitcoin transactions makes many money launderers launder their money using cryptocurrency. So far, I think many people have done something like that. in fact, this is also one of the concerns of the government. because of this, the KYC system is implemented at each exchanger to prevent money laundering.
Well mixing the coin with a coinmixer would be difficult to trace or track  however on the point of exchanging those coins to fiat would be questioned by the authorities concerned based on the huge amount of money involved that is why money laundering is a quite difficult now based on security measures put in place by many countries.
4704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: December 03, 2019, 01:17:46 PM
Price history would repeat itself again as far as the halving of bitcoin is concerned come 2020, every crypto enthusiasts is expecting a massive pump based on the two previous halving experiences I am predicting the price to be well above $15,000 there was a lot of  massive adoption of bitcoin 2017 coupled with the halving that really triggers the price then however a lot of newbies who bought at the peak were disappointed with massive dumping in the price that occurred then thus were disappointed and left bitcoin I wouldn't expect such a massive embracing of bitcoin in 2017 to happen again in 2020.
4705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 03, 2019, 06:41:29 AM
The real reason why I gamble sometimes is just that I just want to, sometimes I want some entertainment or to enjoy some quite time. I know that I can just lose my money but that is normal when we are playing gambling so I set my budget when I gamble and when I won then that is just a bonus.
I have some time to spare or while away time I switched to gambling and deploy whatever strategy I learnt from the internet and entertained myself while gambling with the amount of money I can afford to lose I just catch some fun while gambling whenever I lose I move on till another day I withdrew my winnings immediately sparing some little funds in my account to continue with gambling.
4706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: At What Price would you stop investing more money into Bitcoin ??? on: December 03, 2019, 05:14:19 AM
Any price mark above $3000 I would stop investing in bitcoin that is my peak price benchmark I wouldn't agree that the price could fall back to $100 if it does then that is a very good opportunity to buy and accumulates more, because its very obvious the price would pump again thus earning some profits for the hodler due to volatility of the price.
4707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you not relented in viewing your account wallet? on: December 02, 2019, 08:35:10 PM
It's been a while that the dump has persisted, many have hoped  and predicted in several direction especially for the middle of the year till now and many have become so weary, their we're times I check my wallet like thrice a day, later twice, once and now a whole day I may not check. Most time like thrice a week, i'm sure i am not alone in this condition, how about you?
many people also do the same thing. I can even reach 1 week without opening a wallet. why should I do this? because it is useless to see the condition of the wallet but the price does not increase, this will only make disappointment.
I only checked the price of cryptos via blackfolio maybe thrice daily I never bothered to check my wallet as you rightly said its doesn't add anything if the price of that particular coin dumps definitely I would be sad and disappointed then but now I am unperturbed because I am very sure the price would recover whenever it dump.
4708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain-based Elections? on: December 02, 2019, 06:50:44 PM
The use of blockchain will definitely help curb election malpractices especially in developing nations but the question is will those governments approve its use; knowing fully well that it can jeopardize their chance for swift victory through manipulation
Yes rigging of elections and manipulation of election results is very rampant in developing nations however would they have the political will to deploy blockchain technology for their elections? obviously no, they knew that this technology if fully deployed would enhance transparency in elections and would prevent falsification of election results which is very synonymous with those countries election.
4709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 02, 2019, 05:36:20 PM

Arsenal lost their plot due to their head coach polices, first he names a player hated by their fans as their captain and then he doesn’t include Ozil their best player in match day squads and hence it’s not surprising he got the sack and Arsenal’s season is in a mess.

As far as Manchester United is concerned Ole’s foolish decisions of not replacing Lukaku and Herrera is hurting the club now, and their over reliance on McTominny was exposed once again. Honestly I don’t understand what are the club officials waiting for, they should sack Ole right away and give Poch or Allegri the job. Also whoever becomes the new coach of Manchester United needs to sell players like Jones, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Lindelof and buy Bruno, Vidal, Dybala, Koulibaly.

Those player you mentioned are worth to sold what happens is not entirely their fault but also the failure of the coach Ole that cannot mix the existing players well to be a good team.
I'm happy to see LFC that is consitent with it's appearance.
Selling those players mid season could be counter productive to the team in fact by doing so Man Utd might be fighting relegation towards the end of the season because bringing in new players now and blending them together to perform better than old players would definitely take some time remember a lot of them would be new to EPL, language barrier, EPL style of play etc I would advise the Man utd management to manage those tired and unproductive players till the end of the season before buying new players.
4710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 19k again before 2022? (poll inside) on: December 02, 2019, 04:24:22 PM
I voted yes for bitcoin to reach $19K come 2022 there is no element of doubt in my prediction and I based my speculation on the tremendous progress and growth of the price of bitcoin in the previous years for instance the price of bitcoin went as low as $3300 in the early part of this year and recovered to pumped to $13300+ while the price correction, retracement or pullback  couldn't get below $6500+ this is indeed a massive progress thus Iam expecting steady price increment in years ahead some of the catalyst that would triggers the price is the halving of it, bakkt approval etc.
4711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: December 02, 2019, 03:10:17 PM
I indeed entered a shop and ask jokingly whether bitcoin is accepted as a means of payment the response was no that they (shop owner) don't know much about bitcoin in fact they don't have knowledge of any of the digital payment currencies like paypal, skrill, webmoney etc this is indeed very disappointing that in this digital or jet age some shop owners wouldn't want to upgrade to the latest means of payment well I am very optimistic that with wider orientation and research more people would be engaged in bitcoin related stuffs.
4712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: December 01, 2019, 12:11:22 PM
No one can't predict the price of Bitcoin. You can make analysis, speculate and guess but the result will always be the conclusion that you can't actually know how the price is going to move, it's a kind of play.
Everyone will tell some estimation based on.their own experiences and wishes and my would be that the price will stay in current range until the end of the year, I don't expect bigger pump or dump.
but it seems very clear that this month the price of bitcoin won't reach $ 10k. for December, it's still uncertain, although I see some predictions that say prices will go down the same as the end of 2018, but I feel that the price of bitcoin will stbail at $ 8k in December.
Based on the chart above, I also see the possibility that bitcoin prices will rise at the beginning of December, so that the price of bitcoin at the beginning of the day at the end of the month will be at the level of $ 8k.
let's see whether bitcoin in early December can reach 8000, then in mid-December, hope it can touch 8800 so at the end of December possible to touches above 9000. we do not expect any more dump, but I expect it to be stable at 9k, so in early 2020 we expect it to go up to 10k because I think the peak of the increase will occur in 2020 and 2021 after halving.
Market forces demand and supply might played an important role whether the price would reach $10K before the end of the year or not the price of bitcoin fell sharply in the last few weeks ago even to as low as $6500 however the price had recovered while today is first the day of December the price is hovering above $7K the price needing $3k to reach $10K is quite achievable thus I am predicting the price to reach $10K before the end of this year.
4713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: December 01, 2019, 07:22:42 AM
We just have to cautious of clicking any link or ad whether malicious or not to avoid hackers gaining access or stealing our vital information, the OP had exposed the latest strategy that is used to scam especially newbies by dangling a carrot ie giving XMR coin as a bait thus to scam unsuspecting users. So many of these scrupulous and fraudulent activities had been uncovered in the past however those scammers wouldn't relent on this nefarious activities carefullness should be our watch word.
4714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: December 01, 2019, 05:56:17 AM
It will be obviously quite difficult for China to ban cryptos they had in the past threatened, clamped down exchanges ,tried to regulates it in a long run it fails, cryptos is decentralized and anonymous transactions feature makes it difficult for any imposition on it to stand, there are many alternative for the Chinese citizens to use cryptos despite the restrictions and ban on it thus banning it wouldn't have  any impact.
4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 01, 2019, 04:39:16 AM
A part from my shitty prediction about Man City, i didn't thought Chelsea would fail too... Too bad...
For tomorrow games i will say
2-1 for the wolves and ManU
2-0 for Leicester
and 1-0 for Arsenal (will lose this for sure)

My sure win is that Leicester will win against Everton. Playing at home will be easier to move to second position to shift Manchester City.
Like I would bet here quite satisfied because the Leicester match never disappoints.
I think Leicester is determined to succeed above those runner up clubs like Chelsea and Man City who ought to have mount pressure on Liverpool by winning their respective matches unfortunately flopped thus giving Liverpool to extend their lead on EPL table I am also vouching for Leicester to win this game against Everton who had been struggling lately and whose coach job has been tipped to be the next coach to be sacked or relief of his job.
4716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 30, 2019, 05:49:04 PM
I think with tonight's results the opportunity for Manchester City to win the English League this season is getting smaller. Especially after Liverpool also won tonight. Now only Leicester have the chance to approach Liverpool a little. What do you think? Has the English league ended this season with Liverpool as the winner ...
Liverpool continued with their unbeaten runs today by defeating Brighton thus maintaining their leading  position on EPL table and extending the gap between them the runner up Man City goofed big time playing a 2-2 with Newcastle match they should have won to keep on mounting pressure on Liverpool while Chelsea losing to struggling west-ham is another disappointing result today
4717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin readh 10000usd this year again? on: November 30, 2019, 11:30:22 AM
anybody konws about it?
The price had made a tremendous upward movement in the last few days pumping from a low 0f $6500 to the present price mark of $7700 this a good sign of bullish taking over the market however it would be an effort in futility to exactly predict that the price would reach $10000 this year, we should also consider the upcoming Christmas celebration when many hodlers would exchange their coins to fiat to celebrate that festival this would have some impact on the price of bitcoin
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: November 30, 2019, 08:41:37 AM
I never toy with the money meant to cater for my family and probably use it for gambling this amount to taking a risk beyond my control, this is absolutely uncalled for, I only gamble with as little as 5% of my total income thus I wouldn't bother in case losing my bets, it is a pity reading stories of people using their whole lot monthly salaries, selling their houses etc to gamble after losing they resorted to committing suicide, gambling should an extra source income played for fun.
4719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a gradual process on: November 30, 2019, 04:29:26 AM
The process still on progress regardless the price of movement but compare to situations from several years ago then mass adoption looks develop and more better now but not too satisfied with it because cryptocurrency still very potential to increase the achievement but indeed all of it cannot be achieved instantly and it took plenty of steps to do so but don't be only the witness and we should be take a part from it
That is it, the mass adoption is gradually increasing although not a pace but despite that its well better off than years back as you rightly said, Bitcoin has come to stay despite it's shortcomings like volatility, instability as a means of payment, it feature as store of value is very special which is why early hodlers made a lot of profits in 2017 after witnessing a massive pump in the price, I expect a replica of the last pump again
4720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: November 29, 2019, 04:24:56 PM
Hello all,

need advise, if any exist Smiley
I am trading btc few years - but it seems I havent learnt anything. My plan was to use bitcoin volatility to earn some extra btc, but it seems I am not able to do this.
I am selling/buying always in wrong time. Using volume as only indicator, as others do not make sense for me.
Relying on volume indicator might not depict the over picture of the market thus resulting to your buying and selling at the wrong time, more so indicators do lagged with the price thus you might need one or two more indicators while taking your time to learn price action this would enable you not to be too much dependence on indicators there are countless numbers of valuable materials on the internet on price action which can serve as a guide to aid your trading journey.
