YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead uncovered the pictures of the new mid-range and entry-level gaming GPUs.
We are just weeks away from a formal launch of first gaming laptops equipped with GeForce RTX 40 series, some of which are featuring yet unseen Ada Lovelace GPUs.
MLID obtained two photos of said GPUs, the AD106 and AD107 to be precise. These are to launch as RTX 4070 and RTX 4060/4050 series respectively by the end of this month.
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-ada-ad107-ad106-gpus-pictured-much-smaller-than-ampere-predecessors

Finally something exciting in that field (at least from a gamer's point of view  Grin)

I'm always impressed how much power can be packed inside thin chassis like those, every since the GTX 10xx series, it was a huge leap forward in laptop GPUs performance.
Nvidia has to sell new video chips, so laptops are a good way to increase sales. But the price of new laptops is dear to me, provided that now you can make a good gaming computer for $ 1000 from components if you buy a GPU from miners and a processor and memory in China.

Laptops are always a good choice for people who want to have it all on the go.I personally used to work on a desktop at home but I used to get tired a lot very early from my posture sitting on a chair, since I have migrated to a workstation laptop I am having a lot of fun working and also not getting tired at all as I am laying down in my sofa and enjoying my time,so laptops are as you say a very good way to increase sales for Nvidia but I think that it won't be enough to substitute the levels of sales they had when Ethereum was mineable and not a PoS coin.
4722  Economy / Reputation / Re: SBF-Ross Ulbricht on: February 06, 2023, 07:02:42 AM
I think that Ross Ulbricht operated a site that kept doing illegal things like arms and drugs could be traded there and some people say even more tragic things were happening so based on this perspective I think he deserves to be in prison but I don't know if he should be spending his life in prison,20 years is enough for any crime for any person to have a chance to turn to be a better one and start doing good things with their life.

As for SBF he cheated a huge amount of people and he made money himself by cheating these people no matter what he tries to make him self not guilty,I think that he too deserves to stay in prison for a long time until he reflects as if they let him free I am pretty sure he will come up with another scam scheme to cheat people again, once a cheater always a cheater as they say.
4723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will miners ever rally behind ETHW? on: February 05, 2023, 09:56:21 PM
Any eth algo will get destroyed by ASICs.  E9 is now $1,299 no reason not to buy one if you mine ethw

In theory you are right but I believe many of the people owning the previous version of it running at 2.4 Ghs are already pointing it to Ethereum Classic as they have huge processing power and so far to be honest the ETC is better maintained compared to ETHW that is why we still see a low difficulty for the ETHW less than 300 T while for Ethereum Classic is up to 7 times more or something on those lines,so even if people buy the new E9 at almost 4 Ghs they will most likely point to Etherum Classic.

For my personal opinion anyone getting such device should point it 2 weeks in ETHF(Ethereum Fair) about 1.5 months in ETHW and then switch it to ETC.This can prove to be the best strategy for the long run.
4724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Killer of old video cards from Bitmain on: February 05, 2023, 09:38:33 PM
Are these new units or old units.

These are not new ASICs, but a remake of the old version Bitmain Antminer E9 (2.4Gh)
https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-e9-2-4gh
The manufacturer added more memory, more chips and a new firmware for Ethereum Classic mining. If a firmware appears that can mine Ethereum POW and other similar coins, then this is the end for mining on video cards. You need to monitor the hashrate of the coins.

Luckily the ETHW coin so far is free from ASICS as the network difficulty is just 200-230 T most of the time,a very low difficulty indicating that only GPU miners mostly are mining it while some ASICS maybe doing so also but in very very low quantity.I think most ASICS already moved to Ethereum Classic and they are bearing the cost, the miners mining it which made the difficulty go from 300 T to even over 2 P at some point and the difficulty of them is still very high.

Once ASICS start following ETHW it will be the end for GPU miners in the sense that they will mine very low amounts daily but I assume that also the price will grow over time and as such favoring people who have been mining it since the beginning in September 2022.
4725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will miners ever rally behind ETHW? on: February 05, 2023, 09:22:55 PM
I see more changes with them going for Ethereum classic if it is paying to mine it. However i hear that doesn't have any developers either. And i can't see any whales backing up ETHW like they did with ETH classic. Nor any sane developer would stick with dead ETHW and lose the possibility of huge community.

Etherum Classic was the original Ethereum that got breached and as such the devs of Ethereum that is PoS now named it Ethereum while the original fork who got breached continued with the name of Ethereum Classic. Both of these coins have a lot of time in the market while ETHW is relatively new with just near 6 months in the market and we have to give it time at least another year to see how it will go.The fact that there are a lot of large farms mining it even at a loss is a great sign that we may as well see some significant price increase for it while it shows that a lot of miners still support it.
4726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I mine any coin with this mini PC on: February 05, 2023, 09:05:16 PM
I am assuming the only coin you can mine with that type of processor which has 4 cores and 8 threads at a 3.5 Ghz speed in a relatively new architecture, the Zen 2 should be CPU mineable coins like Monero and Raptoreum.I don't know if someone has built a miner for that type of mini PC but if the processor is the same as our normal PC-s then you should be able to mine any CPU mineable coins.
4727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 05, 2023, 08:42:04 PM
It looks funny to me that any time a team is doing a perfect run like winning more than 5 consecutive games like Marseille was doing and it got them to the second place on the standings and when everybody expects them to continue this good run they go and lose right now in the first half of the game 0-2 against Nice.I hope they turn things around as usually when playing at home they have won against Nice and this win is needed just to give fans that glimpse of hope that the Ligue 1 is not over yet.
4728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 05, 2023, 08:22:25 PM
Yes, I forgot to mention this part of the upcoming games. I don't like Ten Hag, but compared to Xavi, he is a real specialist and we can assume that he should win his part of the confrontation at the coaching level for a clear advantage.
This is another argument in favor of United, and the more absurd the forecasts of bookmakers now look (however, bookmakers are also not omnipotent and must take into account the opinion of the crowd and cash flows - and fact is that the Barcelona brand is now stronger than the United brand).
To put pressure on Barcelona, Erik Ten Hak must turn off the midfield. If the Manchester United players are able to do that, then the chances of getting a draw are more open. The game scheme between Barcelona and Manchester United is also not much different, because they both rely on the midfield to build attacks. But on the other hand, the Manchester United winger is much better prepared than the Barcelona winger.

For me Barcelona and Manchester United are both strong at the moment, the rest is the role of the coach in setting strategy and motivating the players, because in crucial matches like that the players' mentality and experience are very important, because they will play a psychological role in bringing down the opponent's mentality during matches.

United don't have to compete with Barcelona in midfield (although they can). They can play indoor football by playing on the counterattack. Barcelona in this case will make 1000 passes in the center of the field and 100 stupid hinged pass to Lewandowski. Will it bring them success? Hardly. But United's counterattacks, I'm sure will turn into a few goals. But I'm not sure that the game will go according to this scenario, maybe Ten Hag will decide to play pressure and play the first number.

I highly doubt United to score a lot of goals to a team like Barcelona who have only conceded like 7 goals in total in the La Liga in 19 games played. The Barcelona team is in a perfect form recently going from a win to a win and I would bet on this encounter for Barcelona to qualify if the odd is well over 1.5 as this to me looks like a value and a sure bet.Regardless anything can happen when a team from the Premier League plays, they are able to make a lot of surprises in any tournament they play.
4729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what is the best way to gamble w/ BTC on online casinos? on: February 05, 2023, 08:01:54 PM
It is easy OP.There is this strict unwritten rule here that you have to check all the gambling section and read the ANN thread of different casinos and play only in ones that they have only positive reviews and different bonuses ongoing so you won't get that bored easily.Based on such activity I think it is safe to say that you can try the casino in my signature as a first good one with many others following.
4730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 05, 2023, 07:32:22 PM
Napoli won again if they continue with these victories they may be even aim at the all-time Serie A points, 102 from Juventus of Conte.

That will be difficult to beat but one thing is sure here,Napoli is comfortable ahead at 16 points difference with the closest follower which happens to have a derby game right a couple of minutes from now.

It is the Milan derby between Inter and Milan and no matter who wins here I think the Serie A is already over for this year with Napoli having a great luxury to sacrifice up to at least 3 games if they want to without risking anything and fighting to do better in Champions League and going far there.
4731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 05, 2023, 07:10:00 PM
I don't believe online casinos enjoy seeing a gambler lose money.
~Snip
 Any thoughts?

I think they do want their "customers" to remain happy so that they will keep coming back. Although casinos, just like any other business care about their profits more than anything else. Which can be morally right or morally wrong, depending on the different perspectives. But they do need to make money if they wish to survive as a business, thats a fact.

But I do believe that they would not want to do anything that might anger their customers. Obviously, making sure their customers participate in responsible gambling is part of that.

They are placing those reminders as default reminders to the players.
It is like a friendly reminder to the gamblers so they won't be too hard to the casino.
So it seems they want to take care of their players by being mindful of what they do.
But of course, let's accept the fact that casinos want to earn profits and more.

Again the casinos are forced by the law to implement a section of their website to talk about gambling responsibly, haven't you guys seen a lot of ads in TV-s,mostly on channels that stream soccer games that during the 15 minutes break between the half time and full time we get bombarded with a lot of gambling and casino ads and they all end in the same way, either be gamble aware either gamble responsibly. This is forced by the governments of such countries and even in online casinos they have to deal with the country that they have the license from to operate. In the end a casino is a business and they don't care that much if you go broke as long as they are achieving their final goal which is maximizing profit.
4732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 05, 2023, 06:47:07 PM
It has become really interesting seeing the top of the standings in the Bundesliga this year,I like seeing finally Dortmund back on track to a serious title fight with Bayern as I doubt the power of Union Berlin despite them being just one point behind Bayern, they still don't convince me a lot when it comes to attacking.Seeing Leipzig moving further down in points difference is not something that I like but if you are not consistent in your games it translates in you losing the title fight,I hope this changes but let's see next week as this one is already over.
4733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 05, 2023, 06:31:18 PM
This was one of those Sundays that only the Premier League is capable of offering. While many would argue that Nottingham win is a surprise result I think no one will argue that Manchester City just lost the golden opportunity they had to close the gap to Arsenal and this for me says a lot why this year Manchester City should be better focusing on the Champions League as they lack complete consistency in Premier League performance.
4734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting Facts About Online Casinos on: February 05, 2023, 04:22:49 PM
Fact number 8 is a well known one. That will continue to be the top for many years to come and the reason is simple,in slot machines we have a huge variety of slots, themes, sounds, graphics and what is most important different bonus games mechanics in almost every slot, almost all of them have a unique bonus.Beside this in most of these games you can have the option to buy in the bonus game or feature game when you are feeling that luck is not on your side at specific times so you don't go away bored without trying the bonus game.

Would there be bets for the Oscars this year, cant exactly remember if there was previous but pretty sure we did bet on it in previous years.   I can remember being convinced on the Anthony Hopkins film but I forget if I bet the actor or the film or both.    Surely its popular enough to qualify on the major categories and get the volume of bets back and forth for proper odds.
I just found out if there is this bet on freebitcoin, or I missed it, I've only seen sports betting and crypto price predictions so far nothing but that, but if there is maybe there will be more variety in bets on freebitcoin

I think that is like that in normal conditions,we usually have some sport betting and crypto price prediction as our usual bets, mostly the major leagues like Premier League,Bundesliga and Serie A while they add Formula 1 when the new season will start soon just one month from now.

In previous years I do not remember this kind of bet but if it happened I don't think that there will be much participation in betting in these Oscar thing, only people who love drama like to play in these bets in my opinion and I am not a "drama queen"  Grin.

4736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 04, 2023, 09:20:10 PM
I don't believe online casinos enjoy seeing a gambler lose money. I'd like to believe that they only want responsible gamblers to patronize them. They believe they have a moral obligation to present some suggestions for responsible gambling to the general population. It is also logical to believe that if they could assess visitors for gambling addiction, those who failed the test would be banned from signing up. Because they can't, they've created a section of their website with guidelines for responsible gambling. So, even if the house always wins, which is good for their business, it is your responsibility to bet responsibly.

The following are some of the responsible gambling guidelines I found on Livecasino.io, Duelbits, TrustDice, and others. They all have the same idea.

Quote
- Treat your betting and gaming as a form of entertainment and only use money that you have set aside for your entertainment.
- Do not bet or wager amounts larger than you are comfortable with.
- Do not bet or wager with money you cannot afford to lose.
- Do not chase your losses.
- Do not let your betting and/or gaming take up time that you would usually spend on other activities.

 Any thoughts?

Every major casino has this section. However it is not the casino responsibility to teach you responsible gambling but instead they give you some guidelines to follow for your own good and if you follow them you won't get addicted. This is from international laws and jurisdiction where these casinos are located. In the end each of these casinos is only complying with the law required by them and they are forced to have a section of responsible gaming in their website.

Personally I think that it is anyone responsibility to play and gamble responsible and that the casino does not play any role here,in fact the casino is just like any other business, they are here to maximize profit and they should not care much what each one of do as it is not their responsibility what we do from our actions.

Even Zeus trolling nowadays😅
https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/33QgCCsIIs
Damn that huge multipliers flew away just like our dream to become rich lol
Thanks mate for the entertainment! Much appreciated.
Hope you enjoy watching this one too 😄
The sister slot of Gates made it worse, at least Zeus had paid 300x without big multi combinations but Starlight Christmas straight trolled on high level :
https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/dUWmg7b8Dm
If you can hit 300x or higher, you will win a lot of money. But unfortunately, you can't hit it, and I wonder why it can come out so many times, but you can't hit even one big one. But then again, that's gambling, and maybe it's true. You just weren't lucky at that point. Hopefully, you can be luckier next time and get a big win. I support you bro Grin
Thanks likewise 🙂
Today tried level up slot challenge on Stake and one of Push gaming slots didn't hit 80x for 3900 spins. Over 3k spins and lack of 80x is not acceptable after that much loss so hopefully level up reward of challenge will cover overall loss. Maybe it was only me unlucky on that challenge.

I always when trying to play with the challenges I like Play n Go slots, they usually give you the chance to hit a great multiplier during their bonus games, and this time the new game from the ten new releases was Legend of Inga and I enjoyed it very much, first time seeing such mechanics game play in a Play n Go slot where they gave you for each free spin from 3-20 depending how much you got, from 1 to 9 wilds for a spin, this can greatly surpass that 80x that you were trying to get and I am sure here from 3900 spins you would have got one,to bad this game was only for big wins and lucky wins in Stake.

As for your 3900 spins I am sure you have got a good percentage to your next vip level so that is the beauty of playing at Stake, you get always some side "bonuses".
4738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 04, 2023, 07:19:45 PM
Have you guys tried tailing high rollers with their bets on sports and electronic sports?
Because today I tried doing it just for an experiment and I took a bet on 5 games even without knowledge about them. I didn't put too much money into it because like I said, it's just for a trial.
It didn't end up well and these are the results. 4 losses and 1 win.

I copied the bet of users who are mostly playing above $1000 per bet. Some 1 Ethereum and the other with 0.1BTC if I remember it right.
So I thought, these gamblers are not joking about their bets, they must have researched hard and knew who has the highest chance to win or the end result of the scores.
Question: Has anyone been successful in doing this?

I know it's not right to bet on a game without knowing about it, I am just curious if someone does this kind of strategy.

The copy bet feature is great, however the fact that it does not show the history of such user that you are copying the bet is letting you in the dark about their past performance and this is called a blind bet,the ones you have made are called like this.I usually copy only bets I strongly agree with and just to see that there are other people who think like me and bet like me.

In trading, for example as an analogy the website Etoro let you copy the trades of the top performers and you know whom you are copying from, however they also have a disclaimer that past performance does not guarantees future results and as such this can also be considered blind betting, something highly recommended not to do.
4739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 04, 2023, 04:16:11 PM
So it happened, the biggest surprise of this week no matter what other results we will see is Arsenal losing to a team like Everton in the last places of the standings and with a lot of games lost recently.I never expect Arsenal to play that bad as it did and I think it was a lucky goal for Everton which luckily for them decided the game and gave them the three points.

The biggest disappointment in the games that are live now is Liverpool losing 2-0 to Wolves,I don't know what is happening with them but that is really worrying and I doubt they have time to turn things around yet as a fan I hope they do so.
4740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: February 04, 2023, 10:59:38 AM
as long as binance could keeps their reputation good, investing in BNB would be always worthwhile the thing with investing in BNB is that the coin itself highly utilized in their platform and there's always some stake program that involves the use of BNB, even holding BNB might give you some rewards, binance in this regard working really hard in keeping its value high that I think it wouldn't just collapse like ftt, it's completely different coin with different system.
Maybe that's why BNB continues to stay on top and when it comes to this coin I honestly never doubt it,
BNB won't collapse easily so no need to worry,
for a long term investment BNB is a very viable option and it will be profitable.
Listen up, friend! Binance Coin is one cool cat in the crypto world. It's been slayin' it and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. Now, I'm not saying you should blindly throw all your money into it, but I can tell you this much - BNB has got some serious staying power. With its close ties to the super popular Binance exchange, you can bet your bottom dollar that this coin is here to stay.

So, if you're looking for a long-term investment in crypto, BNB just might be the ticket. Just make sure to do your own due diligence and only invest what you're comfortable losing. Got it?

It is like you say but what you should keep in mind is that it never get that skyrocketed or that x100 or more value that many other altcoins has.So it is a stable coin I would say with great potential but the real potential lies in coins much lower in value as in the next bull run can really multiple your income of crypto, these are the coins we should be keeping,of course in normal and small quantities, the maximum we can afford in order to try our luck.

Keeping it or selling it depends on OP point of view and expectation of what will happen with such coin, nevertheless I would recommend keeping it as we may see great price increase in the next bull run and as such would be a mistake selling now,in the crypto winter that we are in.
