4721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 19, 2021, 01:35:35 PM
Early kick off is underway between Villarreal and Mallorca and with over 65 minutes into the game, so far no goal has come in the game despite Villarreal enjoying most of the ball possession and having most of the goal attempts. Does this match have a goal in it of course but with how it's being played I think one goal at max will be produced.

Real Sociedad vs Sevilla match will be really tough I think. Sevilla are the closer side to getting a victory I think. Real Sociedad have too many missing players. However they still started the season with decent results. But this won't be enough for them to win this match. Sevilla should be able to beat their opponent by at least one goal I believe.
Real Sociedad are already disadvantaged with its players mising out which leaves them handicapped and Sevilla are known to be a good team which might give them the edge here.
4722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 19, 2021, 01:00:57 PM
West Ham vs Manchester united team lineups are in...

Starting XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, Pogba, Greenwood, Ronaldo

Substitutes: Heaton, Bailly, Dalot, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Van de Beek, Martial, Sancho

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Rice, Soucek, Fornals, Benrahma, Vlasic, Bowen.

Westham is a team that is currently in good form and with their last win coming from their Europa campaign this match won't be easy for Manchester United.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Manchester United
4723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is not profitable enough! on: September 19, 2021, 12:52:48 PM
On a small scale it isn't profitable for sure but if you still want to make some profit you will have to scale up on your mining rigs and possibly setup your mining farm in a place where electricity is cheaper to maximize on your profits.

Also trying to do away with bitcoin can be the right choice as other altcoins are available for mining which could be more profitable and cheaper to mining with lesser resources to commit.

4725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: September 19, 2021, 09:33:35 AM
one of the best low market cap coins 2021

1. Matic Network (MATIC)
2. Zilliqa (ZIL)
3. Blockstack (STX)
4. SiaCoin (SIA)
5. Docademic (MTC)
6. SelfKey (KEY)
7. Basic Attention Token (BAT)
8. Linda
Thanks for the suggestion will have to look into them to see how much potential they have to grow naturally and be great in the future. From this list I have heard of Basic Attention Token (BAT) ,SiaCoin (SIA) ,Matic Network (MATIC) ,Zilliqa (ZIL) and the others not yet but will spare some time to look into them, see how their teams are made up of,are they listed on exchanges that can help them grow and things like how big some of their social media channels are and how much of these followers interact with them...its a tedious process.
4726  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-09-19] Bitcoin is great, but real crypto innovation has moved elsewhere on: September 19, 2021, 09:27:20 AM
Bitcoin is great, but real crypto innovation has moved elsewhere

Bitcoin will always be the boss, but the real innovative and groundbreaking developments are happening in layer-2 solutions, DAOs, NFTs with utility and the emerging Metaverse.

Something is brewing, and those with finely tuned noses can smell it. As traders have come to expect, Bitcoin (BTC) is doing “Bitcoin things” by bouncing around between the usual “key” support and resistance levels, and to be honest, it’s all starting to feel a bit boomerish.

Bitcoin’s long-awaited “moon” depended on institutional investor buy-in, breaking the previous all-time high at $19,000, and a set of other firmly held beliefs. Well, all that happened, and the run to $64,900 exceeded many investors’ wildest dreams. But despite this, the entire BTC situation just feels predictable and boring if you are of the opinion that the top-ranked cryptocurrency will eventually top out around $100,000 in the current bull market.

So, back to what else is brewing…

Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) are hot, nonfungible tokens (NFTs) are hot, play-to-earn gaming is hot and the Metaverse is hot.

This is where the real heads are right now — speculating, building, pondering, networking and doing shit that actually matters. And what is unique about those who are really putting in work in the trenches of crypto is that this grassroots approach and bottom-up building trend is leading to some of the space’s most groundbreaking projects.

But why would people go to the extent of vandalism?? Sorry but This is showcasing ones primitive behavior! There are better ways to express your displeasure against this other than trying to break property that has not wronged anybody from where it's mounted. If you aren't a cryptocurrency believer keep using fiat and any crypto products won't hurt you this way. If you want to protest try doing so using banners or something and your voice will be heard!

MANCHESTER UNITED are planning a January clear-out with up to SEVEN stars up for grabs

Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are among those who may be sold.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add to his transfer kitty by offloading some of his squad, who are not expected to feature much in his starting XI.

United are preparing to have talks with the players in the coming months about their futures, ahead of the new window opening.

It is also understood a number of his younger stars are available for loan, as the club look to get them more game-time.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba runs out of contract next summer and is in talks over extending his terms with around ten-months left.

In my opinion this is Long overdue!
4729  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about youtube/twitch marketing? Is it ethical? on: September 18, 2021, 11:13:43 PM
I guess these guys would do anything to grow their user base because the competition is quite high as we have a very huge number of gambling companies in this ecosystem all competing to win customers on to their platforms.

In terms of being ethical, well If there are disclaimers and consent to get these users to do these marketing gigs for them...I honestly don't see anything wrong to be honest. It's not like it's a free service,  there is some form of reward for it so I guess it's just business.
4730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why government would like to ban Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2021, 11:08:11 PM
I would like to read your opinions about this topic, what are the reasons? Why is it Illegal?
There several reasons why in certain jurisdictions it is considered to be illegal. And I think some of the reasons for this is
  • to avoid the disruption of the fiat money system
  • to ensure people don't evade paying taxes as bitcoin and crypto in general is quite difficult to monitor
  • the government is banning crypto because they are still trying to learn about it so to buy time for this process they have chosen to ban it

the fact that it is for earning & living?  Huh May this answers we have here nailed in everyone's mind in this forum. For learning and importance.
For starters bitcoin and the bitcoin forum should be treated as two different products all together as earning is not a primary reason for using bitcoin!
4731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 18, 2021, 10:47:41 PM
The match of the day was Inter v Bologna I think. I assume that not too many people were expecting a result like this. Inter just obliterated Bologna by a 6-1 score. It was a productive day for the Inter forwards today. Martinez (1 goal) and Dzeko (2 goals) did a really great job. It seems like Inter are maintaining a similar performance to the last season. If they keep this up, they might even win the title two times in a row, who knows.
I must admit the Italian league has improved a lot as compared to the old days were these Italian teams could play out to a one zero game and call it a day by defending throughout till referee blows the whistle...not that I was against it because fact of the matter is this strategy worked and these guys became masters of the art. Now with players being brought from all parts of the world I guess there has been a change of mentality over the years which has improved the game. And Inter displaying the attack aspect they have was marvelous, I guys Lukaku leaving meant they had to up their game and they did.
4732  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-08-10] AMC will accept bitcoin as payment for movie tickets by year end on: September 18, 2021, 09:15:01 PM
In the long run I see this to be a success story as we shall be minimizing the number of contact points we the people usually had when dealing with fiat, now this being a good contactless solution...am hoping that if this turns out to be a success more companies not only in the entertainment business need to come in to support the cause which will also help fight the current pandemic the world is facing.
4733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we see 5k Eth price by end of the month on: September 18, 2021, 09:07:23 PM
Anything is possible, as a matter of fact cryptocurrencies have not yet realized their full price potential which means price of Ethereum for me has to actually go up as high as $20k obvious not just this year but it will happen.  For now price seems to be consolidating which makes it difficult to be bullish for the time being. But for the time being before the year ends we might be lucky to see $4k as we a couple of dollars away Smiley
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The greedy must be poor on: September 18, 2021, 07:45:51 PM
This statement is a two edged sword in my opinion.
The greedy may be considered to be the buys that are high risk takers and would want to go all the way. If someone bought crypto like bitcoin at 5 dollars and when price rose to $5000 they did not sale we label them greedy because they didn't take their profits but holding for over 10 years and price is at $48000 would be a better reward for not taking his or her profits early. I guess the greedy would be laughing all the way to the bank after this.
4735  Economy / Exchanges / [2021-09-19] South Korea’s crypto exchanges will shut down en masse next week on: September 18, 2021, 07:11:40 PM
The majority of South Korea’s cryptocurrency exchanges will likely shut down by next Friday, as operators race to meet stringent new rules from the country’s financial watchdog.

By Sept. 24, all exchanges operating in South Korea must obtain licenses from financial and Internet regulators. As of Monday, only 28 exchanges—out of the 63 operating in-country—had received certification from the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), the first step to obtaining final approval from the Financial Services Commission (FSC). The remaining 35 exchanges are unlikely to be able to comply given the looming deadline, says the FSC.

The crypto industry worldwide has for many years “lobbied to have clear regulatory frameworks,” says Henri Arslanian, partner and crypto leader at consultancy PwC based in Hong Kong. Many crypto leaders welcome straightforward rules because “operating in gray areas makes running the business challenging, from fundraising to opening bank accounts,” Arslanian notes. “It’s not in the best interest of the public, either.”

Still, the rapid-fire closure of over half of South Korea’s crypto exchanges could pave an easy path for crypto monopolies to emerge, which some say could harm ordinary investors.

4736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: September 18, 2021, 06:36:59 PM
In gambling they say winners know when to stop and In the world of trading they say use a stop loss to cut your losses same thing can be applied to a crashing market, you can choose to sell and when it hits its low that should be a good time to buy the dump and make money and recover your losses and also make a profit while the market recovers to get back were it was before.

Btw am not against the idea of holding in a crashing market but if your beliefs aren't aligned in strongly believing in crypto its okay to sell, just my 2cents.
4737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Probability is not the reason for your loss on: September 18, 2021, 06:28:53 PM
As far as I know, everything we do or should I say however we gamble... one way or another , probability will always be there especially if it concerns sportsbetting, not so sure about casino gaming  Tongue... There is a saying that says "practice makes perfect " if a player practices more expect that practice to pay off by winning, meaning the player has a higher probability of winning a game than the guy that hardly practices...so really probability is still golden but of course I take things to be 50-50 because other factors are at play when gambling, for example match fixing. So I agree with you on the use probability wisely!
4738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 18, 2021, 04:09:31 PM
Earlier today we had Rayo Vallecano face Getafe in a match that would have taken Getafe from bottom of the log to 15th spot but the unfortunate happened and they lost three goals to nil...which leaves getafe at 20th in search of their first 3 points of the campaign.

This match between Atletico Madrid and Atletico Bilbao just become tense and dramatic after the sending off of Atletico Madrids Joao Felix which just meant there were no goals to come after the referee penalized its attack force. And scores remain at 0-0 with points being shared between the two teams.

4739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 18, 2021, 03:35:01 PM
What a day Arsenal looks like they are really back with winning  although VAR just saved them from Burnley equalizing from the spot know it's a matter of holding their lead. Current score Burnley 0-1 Arsenal.

EPL leaders Manchester city seem to be having it hard to break Southampton but I still see them to have a goal in them. Scores still remain at 0-0 for Manchester city vs Southampton but they still have time to break their visitors.

In Anfield Liverpool is having a field day, Salah just scored making it two goals to nil for Liverpool and I don't see Crystal Palace getting a goal either. Current scores Liverpool  2-0 Crystal Palace

Arsenal are yet to offer Alexandre Lacazette a new contract at the club.

The 30-year-old striker is well into the final year of his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, but it appears that the Gunners are not planning on making him a new offer to keep him beyond the end of the season.

AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Lacazette in the January transfer window.

From this looks like Lacazette isn't getting an extension of his contract,  so much pressure coming from his team.
