As I see many here on the forum they still look positively on BAKKT after its release even though the price of bitcoin has soared that it is also the cause of the collapse of potential altcoins in the market. But even so many are glad that the collapse of the market has been a good opportunity for them to buy potential coins that they could not buy in huge quantities before now that they can afford to hold onto what they are sure I am.
Because they know that there is no big reason why BTC should collapse, Bakkt launch is a great achievement this year, therefore we should see some uptrend. Think that this price downtrend is just temporary, BTC were able to hold to $8k before it starts to dump now and only trading at $7800, but like I said this is just temporary as I've seen this kind of situation many times before, and I always see how BTC recovers. |

There’s no correlation about this one aside from the ghost month, but there’s a study that some months are not good on a stock market but I doubt if its also applicable to cryptomarket. The dump on the market is still unpredictable, there are so many instances to consider and we don’t know if they’re the real reason or not. I'm sorry but just like to correct that August is the gosht month, not September. I know a lot of presumptions and blaming why we suffer this market crashed. It may be it is all about time that crypto market needs to settle down from where it is the right price for them. Cause in my self, I'd never think that $20k is a fair market price. We could just reach that price because of hypes but what we have now, we could say that whales aren't making such a thing which good to prevent from losing. How many of you guys feel disappointed about how bakkt did nothing to crypto market price but shrink it down to where it is today? i am one of those who think bakkt will have huge impact on crypto market since 2018 so here we are today and things went sideways
That is really disappointing cause most of us are expecting for pumps rather than to see the market drops. I believe there is no market manipulation around but this, it looks like there is something behind (whales). For how many weeks that we've been in the stable at the range of $10k-$11k but suddenly it crashed which nobody is expecting to happen cause we are looking for the bull run this year and we are almost started the 4th quarter with carrying positive hope. But somehow, all the expectation and speculations we looked for had vanished in just a week. |

It can very well happen but price prediction to an actual month/year is quite difficult. If bitcoin is ~$80k by next year I think there is no way btc dominance is under 50%. Alts might spike with btc but the alt caps have to more than 10x on average, that's a tall task for the entire market I don't think of its reality. We seem to drop by at $9k below and we are targeted for $16k next month it is really hard to happen. Even though I am an optimistic person but I can't see that we make it next month even the market will rally back then. We will just be lucky if we could make a move at $10k next month. Anyway, we are just predicting and we don't have any assurance for this. Only we are asking is that the market will fight for this and supporters as well. |

i believe the weak hands will sell their coins in this situations but, maybe a smart traders will doing that too, if they predict the price will be down more my friend That would be a strategical way, they are smarter than of casual traders but doesn't mean that they know everything about the market. Its something they know a lot and they take action with some basis unlike to those casual traders as they make decisions base of what they think is good. Altcoins drop-offs not always have a negative result besides, many will take the opportunity with this. The opportunity for us to buy more potential altcoins at cheap price. Will it someone in selling while someone is also buying. That is really the life of crypto. |

I think people have started leaving ethereum for bitcoin. Bitcoin is the strong digital currency which is mainly recognized by the world and it has been accepted as a method of payment. Traders are turning to bitcoin as its transaction fee is also coming down. Unless there is some reform in ethereum, the coin cannot get momentum.
It is happening because of their price dropping. Ethereum needs the strong support from the crypto supporters. Initial time people does not know more about the stable cryptocurrencies. But now all people and can easily classify which is the best project and which is the team to move ahead. Finally users wants to make money and they will choose such projects only. ETH still have a lot of supporters but not really enough to push the market. It has to say that I'm one of those supporters but what it initially happens to the market today is a huge market condition and not only ETH experience falls but of the entire crypto market. Will I know that most of us worried about this recent drops but I don't think this will be the end of crypto but rather to think of new start-ups. |

Its possible, and you are lucky if you can find coins which would pump because its listed in big exchange in the future. I will give you one good example, look at TRON volume - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tron/When it started, the trading volume was only 76K usd last sept 2017 but its volume now is already at over $600 million, so look for this kind of coin. |

There is no announcement yet on when Libra will actually schedule for launch, Im sure they are still working on the regulatory requirements now.
Study what Libra is first, AFAIK its a stable coin so I don't see its a good investment, unless you are a big investor that you can private invest with them, but then again, just to make sure information are accurate, wait for the announcement to see what this project can offer to its potential investors.

You can see on the altcoin price chart that altcoin prices have no significant upward movement, while the price of bitcoin has even declined. I can't tell the next story about altcoin, but we hope that the market will recover soon and the price of bitcoin can increase again.
That's the only thing we can hope for now, that BTC and altcoins will not continue to drop and will recover soon. What we have witness in the past few months was good recovery for BTC but if this dump will last longer, we might be back at the lowest price this year. Of course we don't want to see that happen, we have a lot of good news this year so the current market situation does not coincide with what is happening, maybe in time we shall see them surprise us again. |

At this stage that the entire market is dumping, its wise to hold your BTC than any altcoins in the market.
When the market struggles, the strategy that works here is to go with the most stable coin, and that is BTC since its still holding a high dominant rate.
Hopefully this dump now will not last longer, we still have plenty of time before the end of the year, so let's hope by the start of the 4th quarter, we will witness an opposite of what is happening now.
We have recovered at bit this year, let's hope we will see an overall recovery by the end of the year, especially for BTC which is leading this market.

NLEX vs Meralco Both. Favorites here is the Meralco bolts at -4.5, but I'm not betting my money on them, I like the NLEX here, they also have a good import and Ravena is back, so they might be a different team in this conference.
I'm with NLEX over Bolts in terms of overall lineup firepower but just a bit especially that Kiefer is back, however, let's not forget what Meralco did to the current defending champion Magnolia Hotshots during their opener. I will not take the reason that it's just a first game why the defending champ loss. Talking about the lines, I can't comment much about the score spread since we have only a few references since the conference just start. But if we take a look at those only single game as a reference, Meralco's -4.5 seems to be the closest thing that can happen, "at least". Don't want to take NLEX past game as a reference because that game is more of a deciding game since Phoenix is not performing well, as always. I'd rather skip the handicap but instead go for ML on this match. This is gonna be a great match, an offensive team vs a defensive team. And.... suddenly the line changes, NLEX already now at +3.5 only, @Japinat might be lucky to get a good value if he bet right after he post in this thread. That it looks like to think that we should have to be in the negative? Yes, we have a huge drop in price, but people (mostly) think that ETH will recover sooner. They keep themselves optimistic rather than to think that their investment will turn into nothing. We never have to push our self of believing ETH's capability and also to think that it will die sooner. We have difference and we have a different perceptions towards crypto trends. |

Please explain to me a reason. Who benefits from creating Bitcoin's pump to crash it then out? Of course, investors will do. They are the one who played this market trend. They just want to catch those panic seller who sells their BTC during the bear season and they sell it back when they saw the market slightly recovers. In some reasons why whales remain profitable because they have plan this already, they formulate bad news just to start FUDs and makes market players go crazy. Sure. It's the safest wallet at the moment and your money will never be stolen again Not really 100% guaranteed assurance that it will be safe, it still depends on how we manage into our wallet. No matter what wallet we used either online or offline wallets just like Ledger, is still subject for these but the good thing about offline wallet is not prone to any hacking scheme unlike to online wallets which everyone suffered such losing of private keys. |

These can make people be more optimistic about the adoption of Bitcoin but it is not that easy I am afraid. We see promising and concrete steps that were taken. Though beating the current system is too hard right now.
They will recognize cryptocurrency soon but don’t be afraid with the current situation of the market because it will stand up again and make the believers proud with bitcoin. The adoption is our last hope, we need more investors and be confident that it will happen next year. Hopes or Hopeless? It gives hopes to those who really believe in crypto but it seems to be hopeless to those in doubt. We've been struggling with these difficulties since last year and quite to say that many had been quitting and have bad claims towards crypto. In the PBA, the commissioner and it's staff are doing things to improved the officiating, nobody is perfect but at least they are trying to minimize the bad calls. Last to be implemented i think is the review on the play if there is a goal tending or not.
Of course they will say that so the fans will be satisfied, but if the league is rig, there's no way the call will be transparent. There's a lot of money at stake here as PBA sports betting is not only available in the Philippines, its available world wide and thanks to crypto gambling sites for adding this even in their list. You might be right about paul and harden not being a good combination there is a reason for that. Chris is a pure point guard and is best paired with someone who can play off the ball like klay Thompson can. Harden needed the ball all the time which negates Paul's PGA creativity. Westbrook's is a little bit just like harden so we'll see.
Harden will be a better point guard that Westbrook although westrbrook have almost triple double in this previous team but we know he is stat padding. This is hard combination to mend actually but the Rockets allowing this to happen, they should see something we don't see. .....and Jeremy line was never a star. He had 15 minutes of fame with New York but that was it.
That wasn't just one game, he was able to do that in many games with NYC while their star player was injured but when Melo came back, Lin was not anymore given a chance. |
