4741  Economy / Speculation / Re: CoinDesk editor believes Bitcoin will hit 1 million per coin. on: May 05, 2021, 05:24:02 AM
Is there someone going to buy it even before it reaches that price? For me I don't think it can reach that price even if its total supply are all mined. Imagine the price of 1 satoshi at $1m per bitcoin, many people would really become rich at that point. It is very early to tell if it will really happen or not because we are only at the beginning of mass adoption of bitcoin, if it does happen I think we are probably dead by that time.
4742  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Convenient as Possible sa Pag-deposit ng Fiat to buy Crypto on: May 05, 2021, 04:50:55 AM
In terms of convenience talaga, walang tatalo pag local exchange like Coins.ph ang gagamitin(probably Coins Pro pero pag day trading ang pinag uusapan).

4743  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cebu City government eyeing crypto payments on: May 05, 2021, 02:05:07 AM
4744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: primedice scam 2021 eposide 2 on: May 05, 2021, 01:17:00 AM
In the first place, your friend already said that he forgot the email used in that account in which is the only way to recover it. Primedice didn't scam you hence it is your friend's fault why we can't access his account again, his 2.7btc is still there and I think primedice won't touch it unless they deactivate some accounts that are not logged in for a long time. I've known primedice since I learned about crypto gambling way back 2016 and that was also the first platform I played, if they really scam their users then I don't think they would last until now.
4745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO when a coin is pumping on: May 04, 2021, 10:16:16 AM
Simple answer, people want to take the opportunity to earn from that hype. This often happens when coinbase announces that they are going to list a new crypto in few days. The coins suddenly pumps and many people are fomoing to that coin before it is listed on that platform. They don't consider the risk of buying at the peak price of it. For me there is nothing wrong with FOMO buying as long as you are early to buy when news or huge update of that coin is just announced. What I don't get is why some people still buy if the price has gone up more than 30% already.
4746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: May 04, 2021, 09:12:35 AM
There is too much leverage and too much potential profits in crypto space today which makes me feel like I'm reliving the 2017/2018 era once again, forget the big institutions investing money on crypto, those who bought at 4000$ per BTC are already millionaires/billionaires, you can't expect them not to take profit, be prepared

Bitcoin is not that popular way back 2017 and 2018 so I think only few people bought at that price and it won't be enough to bring it below $40k or cause a massive correction of more than 60%. Profit-taking is to be expected so it is really better to have a separate funds when this happens so you can buy cryptos you want at a cheaper price. Market ups and down is normal, just think of it as an opportunity to accumulate when its down and opportunity to take profit when it is going up.
4747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 10 casino sites on: May 04, 2021, 05:06:13 AM
So far, the best crypto-gambling review site, not biased or being paid to shill is, BTCSOGU.
https://www.btcgosu.com/

That is also my go-to reference when looking for different gambling websites to play. I recommended this to my friends and they also liked it too because you can find there all the necessary info you need to know before playing on that website.

I haven't heard any names listed by OP since I learned about crypto gambling websites, he didn't even put a link to each of them because there is 777 casino on the list which has a similar name here that has a signature campaign for a very long time now. He didn't state his reason why those are the top10 for him.
4748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: May 03, 2021, 09:44:09 AM
It is really hard to follow our trading plans especially if the market is looking good. We get greedy because we think that we waste the opportunity to earn more profit. If we don't follow our trading plan, we should be also prepared if the market goes opposite of what we want. I know some traders that have always set their trading plan and still fail to follow it because of the potential profit they can earn if their technical analysis goes right. But those people have a big capital in trading, if you trade with a tight capital you should always follow your trading plan whatever big or small the profit can be.
4749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: May 03, 2021, 08:48:02 AM
(I am bringing this topic here to point out amd encourage everyone that needs encouragement, that it is always best to find out the reason behind every loss we make in trading. It might not be easy, but try not to fall into depression suddenly, go back and find out the excesses and mistakes in your analysis in preparation for the BIG WIN, it is not easy, but you can do it)

As there is a saying in our country, take a break but never quit. I've also experienced to lose alot of money when I tried futures trading, I was really tempted to try it because of the gains I see from my friends on social media. I started with a 100$ capital and managed to make it 300$ that time. Without knowing the risks of it I was still going 50% of my capital per trade until market correction happened. It got me liquidated that time and been depressed for a couple of days thinking about how to recover it. By realizing my mistakes during those times, I told myself that I should not rush to recover it or else I will just repeat the same mistake again. I've avoided doing future trading for now and just trade on spot while applying the skill I learn from watching videos everyday on youtube.
4750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now It's Time For All Weak Hands To Drop Their Bitcoins! on: May 03, 2021, 07:55:28 AM
It is normal for people that are new to crypto to panic when these corrections happen. Let's admit that we also panicked when we first experienced it too. And as what my professor in college always said, experienced is always the best teacher. You can't avoid a mistake if you didn't experience it yet personally. So for those newbies in crypto, if you trust the potential value of bitcoin or any crypto you hold in the future you should just hodl it. Don't be swayed from the fuds when the market is dumping.
4751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not yet at $100k, why? on: May 03, 2021, 07:04:18 AM
We don't need to rush for that. If that happens quickly then we should also be prepared for a big drop. Many speculated that it will be $50k by 2018 when it reached its ATH of $20k in 2017 but what happened in 2018 only disappointed many people including me and some people I know quit crypto because of that. From that experience I stopped listening to these speculations on the internet, if it happens then it's good for everyone if it doesn't then you should hodl and lessen the time of checking your portfolio.
4752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 03, 2021, 06:13:01 AM
~

Hmm, betting into eSports may be a little tricky especially if you have little to no idea on what team you are betting one.

Personally, I have gambles most of my resources into eSports and a huge reason for that was my addiction towards computer games. I was able to analyze every team and their picks, see their recent matches, and their win-rate against certain teams so I could at least increase my chances of winning. But if you do not have any prior knowledge as to the game that you are betting on, it is like you are punching your fist in the air and hope for a win.
You just have to know the basics and you just have to be in the know as to which teams are likely to win and performs well. You are right about analysis, it's like any other sport, you have to know a little so you can do some analysis and bet.

I often play LoL and always watch when there is a tournament going on. From my experience, the popular team doesn't always win. You should know when would this happen like analyzing their lineups and knowing who has the advantage on that game. Betting on any sport that you don't know completely is like having 50/50 of chance to win. It is still better if you know the game well to increase your chance of winning. Plus it is more enjoyable if you know the game because if you lose a bet, you can analyze why that the team you bet on didn't win.
4753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 25 arrested after Rab busts mini casino in Ashulia!! on: May 02, 2021, 11:00:30 AM
This is what I find ridiculous about any efforts from governments in trying to restrict access to gambling.

Sure, you might be able to bust a couple of unlucky gamblers that frequent these joints. But at the end of the day, what have you achieved? So long as there is demand for these gaming services, they will exist. It's the law of free market economics.

Regulating these entities make a lot more sense from a fiscal standpoint as well as a pragmatic perspective. You can control the edge that casinos have, ensure that they do not cheat, and make a bunch of tax revenue. Win-win.

Maybe they don't want to pay tax because the government officials and authorities there are corrupt. Government only restricts gambling if they can't control it or won't benefit from it. If it is backed by a politician they just ignore it and authorities don't even touch it. This happens to our country so I think the reason why that casino was busted is that the owner wasn't able to pay the high official protecting that casino, the official tipped it to authorities because it will put him at risk if someone reported him that he is protecting that illegal casino.
4754  Economy / Gambling / Re: There is no consistent money left in online poker cash tables, my analysis. on: May 01, 2021, 09:40:29 AM
Don't forget any gambling game is consistent, especially when you are playing online. Today you won the other day double lost or even can have lost streak days. How do you think the people who won the money you lost managed to do it? Learn their method. I'm sure if you are good at it, you can make money for living out of poker because I know people who do.

Even if they are good at it there is always better than them, right? So I'm sure that even they do make a living out of it they still experience loss. Let's say they really do make money from it on a daily basis, if you are just a normal salaryman you won't risk your whole future just to do poker, I'm sure those people that do poker for a living has still a stable life even if they experienced a massive loss. I mean they do it because they enjoy it while earning from it which I assume most of us want.
4755  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6 reasons why you should buy Bitcoin right now (at USD 50K-53K) on: April 29, 2021, 01:02:56 PM
Though I agree that bitcoin is really a good investment right now but for some people, the price of it is already expensive. And earning a big amount of profit from investing on it is difficult if you only have a small capital. With the current alt season, it is better to buy some altcoins now like CHZ, ADA, or BNB.  They have good projects and has really a potential of a good price in the future. I invest in those to accumulate more bitcoin in the long run. 20% gain from those altcoins is very achievable this year with the current alt season now.
4756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: April 29, 2021, 12:00:14 PM
From the word itself, it prevents you to have more loss when your trade doesn't go the way you predicted it. It is very important because some people get liquidated because they don't set it. Just like what happened a week ago when bitcoin made a flash crash from 56k to 50k in less than 15 minutes. Many people think that their liquidation price is too far that it is impossible to hit and when this flash crash happened it liquidated almost $2b from what I read.
4757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 29, 2021, 11:06:47 AM

That is totally right, it is said that you should not invest or bet what you canīt afford to loose. In my case that is in the range of 10 to 20 USD a year Wink but there are many people out there that really, believe or nbot, do not even know what to do with their dough. I am talking about guys that have enough wealth for 5 generations and donīt care for any bet lower than a million. BTW, it is good learning to loose a large sum... it makes you appreciate the value of money.
How exactly does loosing a large sum make you appreciate the value of money even more? Isn't it that you completely loose the connection to money? I cant imagine if you lost 1 Million Bucks that afterwards you appreciate money more than before...

If you earn a large amount of money easily and you also lose it quickly because of greediness then that is where you appreciate more the value of it. Like from my experience when I was still gambling before, I was close to having 1btc that time where I only started with a small bankroll, I recklessly bet more thinking that I could still earn and make 1btc. I increased my bet per game to earn my target amount but I am not lucky anymore and I continuously struck some losing streaks until I ended up with 0 balance. I wasn't able to sleep that day and thinking that if I did not greedy I should have a huge amount of money the next day. That was the time I appreciate more the value of money and realized that gambling is not a way to be rich.
4758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ?? on: April 29, 2021, 05:28:22 AM
It is too early to talk about this topic. Biden just won last year and he is not even 1 year when he became the president. If covid will end in Biden's term and he did enough for his country then he has high chances to win again the next election. If he hasn't done anything and pass some useless laws that just make Americans suffer then people would probably not vote for him for the next presidential election. There is much more to happen especially on bitcoin so focusing on that issue is useless for me now.
4759  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 28, 2021, 11:59:44 PM
Of course yes like what Tesla did few days ago where they said that they sold 10% of their holdings to provide liquidity from the market. There is no problem if those institutional investors sell their holdings, if they do there are many small institutions and retailers prepared to buy it. What I just don't like is the media makes it a big issue and make it looks like a bad news to scare those weak hands causing for the market to dump hard sometimes.
4760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Elon Musk "Smart" Tweeting Continues! on: April 28, 2021, 01:36:42 PM
Remember, 98 addresses control > 67% of all Dogecoins. Dogecoin has become what it is, a joke coin.

Newbies in crypto don't know about this and they still keep buying above 0.1 cents. Even if you tell them that it can be easily dumped, they don't listen because they are blinded by Elon's hype. I just hope that they don't invest all of their capital just because he is a very influential guy. He is the only reason why doge is pumping crazy like that. If 10 or 20 of those addresses dump their coins it is already a big impact. Many people could lose huge amount of money in the future if he continues to hype it. There are many cryptos out there that are worth investing in, people should learn what is really worth of their money in the long run and has less risk than investing on dogecoin.
