4761  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia Invades Ukraine. Whats next? on: March 07, 2014, 07:14:52 AM
Can I laugh at that? =))) Even If you say no , I will still laugh.
Of course, but like we say in Russia, "Laughing for no reason makes you a fool".

So basically , the brits aren't to blame for africa, america , india , australia , new zealand , it was the British Empire , not the United Kingdom that slaughter millions of natives.
No, they are, because the British Empire wasn't a federation. Africa, America, India, New Zealand [, ...] were ruled directly by the british government.

USSR was a federation of republics, and RSFSR had no absolute power here. Actually the most of famous USSR leaders came from another republics.

Vladimir Lenin - Russian SFSR
Joseph Stalin - Georgian SSR;
Nikita Khrushchev - Ukrainian SSR;
Leonid Brezhnev - Ukrainian SSR;

Yuri Andropov - Russian SFSR;
Mikhail Gorbachev - Russian SFSR.

So you're telling me that Kazakhstan and Tajikistan forced the freedom loving Russians to invade Czechoslovakia Smiley).
Let's cut the bs , common?

Besides , the same can be said about the Brits , there were Scots , and Irish and even indians deployed in the african campaigns.
4762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: March 07, 2014, 07:09:47 AM
Why has Max Keiser stopped promoting this coin?

Maybe we should remind him via twitter?

I am most likely wrong. But MaxCoin at 0.00047 level is just too good to resist. Let's throw away another 2BTC  Shocked

How long until we confirm if this was a good or bad decision?

5 blocks Smiley)))).
But really , throwing bitcoins away isn't a good decision no matter how you look at it.

Is it possible that it will go up 20-30 times the current value the comming month?

Of course it is possible! It's also possible it may not !
4764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 07, 2014, 07:05:55 AM
Hai Bitcoin..

Please move your ass up towards the $700,- mark.

Sincerely.

Was that a typo or it's in your native language? Smiley

None of this may happen at all. It appears there is communication via reddit from the aur dev. He may not deploy kgw in light of bcx. Looks like they may have to come up with another solution to the diff adj issue. This coin is getting more and more messed up by the minute and unfortunately, yes, it appears I will be a bag holder if it dies.

Sounds interesting from a guy that isn't bothered at all that it takes 12 hours to mine 8 blocks.
Can you share the reddit link?
4766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 07, 2014, 06:45:37 AM
Anyway...there are going to be a lot of tears when this crash happens and nobody will be able to say they weren't warned. There's a reason it has dumped so hard over the past day or two.

It would be a better for this coin, if the price was a lot lower before and at the airdrop. Undecided

I guess you guys haven't heard about https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=504103.0
RUNNN WHILE YOU STILL CANNNN!!!!!!

You mean , until we're in the 80s and bound to a wheelchair?
4767  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: March 07, 2014, 06:31:59 AM
Well , sincerely I would love to see that experiment , but ,
Why the hell aurora?

The coin is pretty fu** up at the moment , with blocks averaging 8/12 hours sometimes.
KGW will be deployed by block 5200 , so looking on how blocks are mined , not just I , the whole store will run out of popcorn till then.
4768  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: March 07, 2014, 06:24:32 AM
I'm whining? Isn't your sole purpose in this thread whining?

I'm here expressing my opinion, formed from watching crypto for over three years. I have every right to judge you and support anyone that exposes your behavior (and the behavior of people like you).

Ding!

Ah, I see you edited...Ask BCX what my opinion is on valid altcoins...You are the ones who have tainted the name 'altcoin'

There is nothing to taint there and there was nothing
An altcoin is by definition a shitty clone:)

coinwarz.com

You're doing something very , very wrong Smiley

I assure you its even worse than coinwarz!
Doge holders have no feeling of how expensive doge mining is atm... almost 30-40% of the daily revenue is electricity

so if the 30-40% is the cost of electricity , how the hell are running costs higher than revenue?
4770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 06, 2014, 08:37:22 PM
No he probably only made a few million. He only could sell a few thousand coins. He will have to wait for the next pump.

with price at 90...something is wrong with your assumption
4771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 06, 2014, 07:16:00 PM
We are in a tough spot here. Both coin tanked and Difficulty sky rocketed at the top of the drop forcing us into this situation where no one wants to mine because it takes so damn long to find a block because of difficulty and the value has tanked. We still have around 1800 more blocks to find until difficulty resets(according to hashfasters pool) so this could get interesting and maybe in a bad way. Can anyone confirm when difficulty resets? I see on the info page it looks like every 8 blocks. But hashfaster pool says 1800 more blocks.

Where the hell did you get that number?
Ups , I see you've edited it. The difficulty re targets every 8 blocks.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TurboCoin | XTB | no pre-mine | make it happen! on: March 06, 2014, 07:14:23 PM
This coin needs KGW... Any dev who can fix it?

This coin needs to be left alone. Smiley No need to bother with it anymore.
4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KRN] Ekrona - not only for Vikings. Scypt PoW, NO PREMINE, 3.3 min blocks on: March 06, 2014, 07:13:32 PM
All that has to be said is they are working with the four countries and making this the official coin and the price will skyrocket.  This coin is 1/100 of the coin count of Maza.

Who is the current developer?

No one developer has no time to take care. He asked me if I want to be the dev some time ago becasue he has no time for that coin.

This post is getting me worry for the future of this coin Smiley
But we have good ekrona community

You mean there are lots of you who think you'll get rich by holding this coin. Smiley

Things are in the works to develop this coin. Community is coming together here, I think yes, it will go much higher and used in transactions.

Elaborate on the great things and the projects coming Smiley.

4775  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-03-06] VICE - Has Satoshi Nakamoto Been Unmasked? on: March 06, 2014, 06:58:21 PM
So he went through all the trouble of concealing his identity. Yet he neglected not to use his real name?

Oh really...  Roll Eyes

Keep in mind he chose his "Bitcoin name" in 2008 when he published his paper. Long before bitcoin actually existed, much less became a big deal. So privacy may not have been a big deal at first, and would have gradually grown into a bigger deal by degrees over time. By then, he couldn't change his online name. All he could do is hide in plain sight.

That's why he used tor Smiley

Fair point. I'm just trying to figure this out myself. Compared to past attempts to ID Satoshi, I think this claim is much, much stronger. My gut tells me it's him (and I'm very sad for him, from what I'm reading. I wish/hope everyone gives him the privacy he wants.)

Are you serious?  The guy that can't even write properly , the way he talks , this is Satoshi?

How do we handle that ?

https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/issues/259

Not many miners have that problem, but some...... Any news from the devs ?

May I ask again ?

Sorry , but this is not the best place to ask serious questions Wink
4777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: March 06, 2014, 05:42:14 PM
Interesting thingy:
The coins needs more miners to get the block times fixed , but because of the block being found once in a while nobody wants to mine it.
The time for the hardfork should be updated.
