4781  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 DiceSites.com - List of dice sites w/ statistics, graphs & verifiers on: May 18, 2016, 10:48:59 AM
This is probably the best and most accurate list of dice sites that I've ever seen.
I'm not 100% sure about this, but aren't you required to disclose that you're using affiliate links, again I'm not sure if this applies to your website.

Here's some info on that:

4782  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Crypto Art Gallery - Manchester, UK on: May 16, 2016, 11:52:01 AM
This is looking pretty good, I'm curious how the art will look when it's on exposition.
The website looks pretty professional, Ihave no doubt that you will find enough people who are interested in visiting once you have a date set.
4783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much do you earn from referrals on gambling sites? on: May 14, 2016, 11:53:28 AM
I never succeeded that referral thing at all. I always felt like i am scamming someone when i am promoting my referral link, so i just quitted doing it. Promoting Ponzi's don't  sound  right to me.
Who's talking about promoting ponzi's? Gambling sites are not the same as ponzi's, although you could question if it's ethical to promote a service which could destoy someones life through possible addiction.
4784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2016, 02:48:34 PM
There are so many gamblers that uses bitcoins these days. Also with normal cash but coin gambling
is growing so fast cant get grip on that. Why would everybody want to lose their coins just for a gamble
i would never understand that.
The combination between gambling and Bitcoin has definitely paid off as you can see. Now there are still appearing more and more gambling sites were you can make use of Bitcoins as a currency.
Add to that the fact that many Bitcoin gambling sites do not have restrictions for players from certain countries and you could see why it becomes popular so quick.
A lot of countries seem to impose various laws to prevent people from playing on certain traditional casino's.
4785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin already using too much power by 2020? on: May 11, 2016, 02:46:39 PM
I believe this will become a complete non-issue in the future once renewable energy production takes over.
Plus in comparison to other industries the power usage of Bitcoin miners is negligible.
4786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: May 11, 2016, 02:43:54 PM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me

Starting small is a nice move.  Buy low sell high so you can have good profitable income generating business.  It is easy to monitor the growth or development of your business. Just keep it rolling to to grow.  For your transaction partners you have to know traders around your area. Smiley
One downside of starting out small is that you don't really have a lot of room for losses, that could be a problem when the market doesn't work in your favour.
Could be usefull for practising, but you also don't have any reserves.
4787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4 types of Gambling on: May 11, 2016, 02:41:34 PM
I think your list is quite accurate, but what is the point of it?
Don't really see how anyone would benefit more from knowing this, it's pretty much already public info.
4788  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Dowanload Games and Earn Bitcoins on: May 11, 2016, 02:38:15 PM
It's just not worth it, you only get a few thousand satoshis for installing useless crap onto your phone.
I'm not willing to spend that amount of time for literally just a few cents.
4789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For traders. Tips to trade succesful on: May 11, 2016, 02:35:21 PM
Also an important piece of advice would be to never invest more than you're willing to lose, and try and focus on the long term yield to prevent selling with a loss.
Security is also important but that has been mentioned already Smiley
4790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: May 11, 2016, 02:28:04 PM
The fact that no physical currency is involved does not make it the best currency in my opinion.
It's specifically the technology behind it and the decentralized nature of Bitcoin that make it the best future currency.
4791  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is PrimeDice fair? on: May 11, 2016, 01:31:13 PM
Yes primedice is provably fair, you can find various threads about it here on the forum.
That said, they could still take your money and dissappear, I would never keep any coins on any gambling site.
4792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Really Stupid Primedice Strategy on: May 11, 2016, 01:28:52 PM
I sometimes do this when I'm bored and the most I've ever made from it is like 0.05 BTC when I was extremely lucky on Crypto-Games.
I have a pretty high faucet reward there, so my chances are a bit bigger than on other sites.
4793  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Cryptolend.net - Automatic online lending on: May 11, 2016, 12:45:25 PM
The site is not professional, the concept is make me doubt and fear to use your service, I just go to poloniex website if I want to do a lend/loan. Why risking with your site Roll Eyes
Yeah, I have the same concerns, the design of your website is not all that appealing and you should really hire someone to write the text on your website.
4794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2016, 11:59:09 AM
I am using Bitcoin in addition to using fiat because Bitcoin is a better alternative in some cases. For example I prefer to invest in Bitcoin as I believe it can yield a higher profit long-term than the interest rate of my bank account. Also Bitcoin is a much cheaper way of sending money to friends and family abroad than Western Union or PayPal etc. I do not need to use Bitcoin because I can do the same things with fiat. I am using it because sometimes Bitcoin can be more efficient that's all.
I use Bitcoin for pretty much the same reasons, I can order a pizza and pay within a minute with Bitcoin. Faster than with online banking Smiley
4795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to store your bitcoins on a mobile phone? on: May 11, 2016, 11:02:44 AM
I only keep small amounts on Mycelium and I have very few apps installed, just some apps like Firefox and VLC, but I think they're pretty safe.
Don't think it would be wise to keep coins on a phone ordered from certain Chinese manufacturers and malware can also come from apps installed from the Play Store.
4796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much do you earn from referrals on gambling sites? on: May 11, 2016, 10:32:48 AM
Something to keep in mind is that everyone loses in the end, and when people lose, they stop playing. Affiliates that keep playing with large amounts for more than a few weeks are very rare. The only way to continuously make referral commission is to continuously advertise your link to new audiences.

The number of affiliates you have does not mean much. I had more than 200 affiliates at primedice before I made my first satoshi in commission there. The quality of your referrals are what matters. Micro from PD for example made almost 35Btc from basically one referral.

Good ways to get referrals are with legitimate content that draws new users/viewers. For example a blog with site reviews, or your own experience on the sites, your betting systems and how well they worked/didn't work, Youtube videos detailing your strategy and playing etc.

Bad ways of getting referrals are by spamming your link on social media (including forums) and other sites, or making meaningless posts just to get the affiliate link in your signature to show. These methods usually does not reach new audiences and just annoys the same people over and over again. If someone spams a link like this and I'm interested in going to the site, I make an effort to remove the referral info from the link before opening the site.
I agree, promoting affiliate links through a blog or through Youtube video's is one of the best ways to get quality referrals.
It has everything to do with the value you add for people who are about to click your referral link, at least that is how I think of it.

But this can also be achieved on this forum, as I have personally found out, just not 'en masse', the opportunity needs to be there.
Whenever I see someone ask a serious question here about gambling sites, I at least try to give an in depht, usefull answer and sometimes the link in my signature is part of that answer, let me explain.

When someone asks me for good sites to invest in for example, or dice sites with a good interface with certain features, it's pretty neat that I can sometimes refer to the site in my signature, without lying or without overselling it. I'm sure I've gotten a few good referrals by pointing towards the site in my signature as a possible solution to their problem.

Example:
Looking for a casino with the option of investing in their bankroll with low minimum investment? The one in my signature fits that description, as do certain other ones that I will usually also list in my post.
It's far more effective to post meaningful content than to just spam 1 sentence replies on the forum.

I don't think that it's unethical to do this, since I stand behind what I am saying, and I also chose to advertise the specific website in my signature because I've had positive experiences with it as a user.
And the campaign manager really does a good job of keeping spammers from joining, I like a clean forum Smiley

It's also important to not trick people into clicking on your referral link, especially here in the forums. It might even be more effective to just add a regular link to your post and then say that they can support you by clicking the link in your signature.
4797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌟Thoughts on investing then gambling🌟 on: May 10, 2016, 09:01:24 PM
I had actually thought about this before when I had invested some Bitcoin and Dash into Crypto-Games, I owned like 10 to 15 % of all Dash invested on the site and would play dice with additional dash.
Some days I would earn 1 dash from my investment, take my investment out and play, profit more and invest again.

You have to keep your investment there for 24 hours before you can withraw it, so there are limitations to that strategy. That and you don't always win Smiley
4798  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: May 10, 2016, 08:56:24 PM
Whenever I talk about Bitcoin to my girlfriend, I try to keep it simple and refrain from using too technical terms unless she asks me to explain something specific.
She was pretty impressed with how easy and fast you could pay for something. I showed her how to order pizza and pay using Mycelium on her Android, took just 2 minutes.
4799  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin in the hotel on: May 10, 2016, 04:56:05 PM
That's a great idea, and adding a discount for Bitcoin payments would certainly attract some customers. If this happens before the summer, I might even include it in my holiday planning.
It would even be better if you got the story out to some Bitcoin news sites, seems like some good free advertising Wink

Hopefully, it'll get implemented this summer. I've been thinking of puting it in some news sites. Any good ones on BitcoinTalk?

Well, you could start by sharing it on reddit (it might get picked up from there) and send an email to the top ranking Bitcoin news websites, far better to just look on Google instead of here on the forum.
You will find the popular ones with a lot of traffic easier.

Here are some good examples:

4800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much do you earn from referrals on gambling sites? on: May 10, 2016, 04:49:00 PM
I would like to see how much people have earned by promoting a casino affiliate/referral link here on the forum or in other places. I've recently gotten some referrals through my signature link and earned around 0.007 BTC through it, not much, but I'm sure there are people who've been luckier than me.

If you have any success stories or good strategies, please share!
I have over 20 singups on fortunejack and my referral balance is 0 btc lol, i had earned .5 btc from dragons tale(the mmo game it sucks now lol) referral though.(back in 2012-13)
It took me several months to get one signup that actually ended up spending a decent amount, so it's just dependant on luck and maybe post quality a little bit.
