Arteta being overconfidence after won against City last week.
Or he is trying to rotate the team, something he prolly learnt from pep when he was assistant at CIty, but Arteta should know the difference in the two teams, city can rotate players and still replace them with even better ones, but Arsenal cannot for now, imo, he should always start his strongest players until they can substantially increase the depth of team, or could he already have one eye on the fa cup final on the 1st of August?

That being said, it would be interesting to see Arteta's lineup on the last matchday of the epl against Watford with Chelsea i think coming six days later in the fa cup final, Watford will be hoping for a weaker team to have any hopes of avoiding relegation. Grin
4782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This Ripple executive should not be praising China on: July 21, 2020, 08:00:04 AM
China and the United States are not the best of friends atm, and i'd expect to see more sanctions against each other in the coming months and years. As for Ripple, i do not think they've gone contrary to the executive order by praising China's CBDC initiative and regulatory policy on cryptocurrency, imo it doesn't mean they have any dealings with China, but they are putting their company at risk, making those statements just three days after the executive order was issued, if a case is to come out of this, it would be one they could have easily avoided.
4783  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you estimate resilience of economy in your country? on: July 20, 2020, 08:47:07 PM
Do you think that your country has done everything to cope successfuly and rescue economy, support businesses and most vulnerable citizens or not?
No, we didn't receive any stimulus package Shocked, the only thing our government did was to reopen the country, doing only that imo cannot put the economy back on the fast track, there is no encouragement for business owners to start where they left of, no easily accessible loans, the government is even owing workers in some sectors salaries for a few months now. In my country atm, there is no incentive to work and for private businesses, you must recover all by yourself.
What do you think which country in the world will fight the economic crisis best?
Countries that were not in huge debt before the pandemic and had a stable economy will beat the economic crisis more, they wouldn't experience daunting decline, so getting back up will be faster than countries previously owing billions of dollars plus an unstable economy, the pandemic made their already worse situation worst.
4784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 20, 2020, 06:16:55 PM
In other game Wolves should have an easy job against C. Palace, a team which has lost last 6 games and has nothing to play for. This one I have for high stakes.
I have this one in my bet for wolves to win both halves, i am not giving palace any chance tonight, Wolves' last match is against Chelsea and it's going to be a tough game for them to win, getting maximum points tonight is a must, to have one foot in the Europa league next season.
even knowing that it is a much riskier bet I bet that Brighton will win this game
I don't think Newcastle will win, it's either Brighton wins or the game ends in a draw imo, it's still goaless till now with 58 minutes played.
4785  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 20, 2020, 05:36:24 PM
I got friends taxi drivers same situation they are just sitting in the taxi and some day zero clients ,barber shops the same they are sitting around all day smoking ... anything that seems a "luxury good" people don't touch this days.
Prolly when there was a total lockdown, this could happen, except that's still the case where you come from, but since the government opened the country for businesses and other sectors, there have been movements of  people and goods as usual and what that means is taxi drivers must definitely get passengers and other businesses their clients as well, it will obviously not be as before, but that goes for every other thing as well.
High Tech,Web Development,Web design ,Mobile Development ,Marketing,Blockchain development,Dapps,Web Hosting is dead from what i see
All you mentioned above are high value skills, and their services are mainly provided online, AFAIK, this are skills that should thrive atm with all the sit-at-home & social distancing protocols, except you have any facts to oppose that, with a good community of customers and great knowledge of the skills, getting clients is no issue.
Business  / private sector is dead
AFAIK, it's not, private owned business requires capital to grow, most of this businesses needs loans from governments, but get none, with sufficient capital, one will be able to grow and expand his private business to a standard level.
4786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: July 20, 2020, 05:09:48 PM
This "used in crimes" excuse is just without sense .. honestly. It's a stupid excuse for abusive control.
Our government over here passed a bill sometime last year to regulate posts made on social media, it was called the social media bill, and the excuse was that people used their social media accounts to defame the government. But in truth, it's more of used to expose to the rest of the world how corrupt and inefficient the government is.

You and i should not be surprised with how governments make excuses to suit their own policies, when India banned Chinese apps, the excuse was China were spying on their citizens, but the true reason is the border war between the two countries. Ironically, bitcoin being used in crimes is really very microscopic in scale, fiat covers more than 90% of the tools used in crimes or money laundering; the government only want censorship, they want to regulate/mediate it, so we're being presented with the best possible excuse as usual.

4788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: July 20, 2020, 09:31:36 AM
The question of if we really need bitcoin is subjective, in my own case for example, my country's fiat value is depreciating with the years as well as our economy and i doubt there is any silver lining in the future with covid-19 and the recession coming with it, bitcoin is personally a viable alternative to retain value for your money.

I only hold our fiat and a reasonable mount of it to buy by needs in stores that accept just cash, and to pay bills; as i keep accumulating bitcoins regularly, holding only cash means your money loses value daily, economists have predicted a major inflation/recession coming my country's way, i sure need bitcoin as an alternative when that happens.
4789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 19, 2020, 07:35:20 AM
I think Man United will win this game unless they have other priorities (CL)..
Both Chelsea and United are in the race to finish in the top four and qualify for the UCL, but winning the fa cup may likely be the only chance for either of them to lift a trophy this season, imo the players are already used to playing every 3-4 days, so no need for the managers to prioritize any match, they have to field their strongest eleven, there will be no room for excuses if you don't and then crash out.
the game hasn't started yet and Frank Lampard is already complaining about the VAR
I think what Franky is trying to do is put pressure on the VAR officials before the game, so they do not make any mistakes as they have been doing for some weeks now, not just only in Uniteds favor, but across some other games in the epl.
4790  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers on: July 18, 2020, 04:22:44 PM
In this economic situation, employees of private establishments are definitely going to face more trouble getting paid for their services, that's if they do not get laid off. In the government establishments, workers are still paid salaries even when the nation was locked down indefinitely; at least if they weren't paid then, the salaries were queued up as salaries owed, but those working for private owned firms are not so lucky, you do not get paid if you do not work and most of this establishments just recently reopened, so they are still struggling to generate income from their business, it's not the fault of the employers nor the workers.
Even celebs like Kylie Jenner who makes more than what these workers combined would make in a lifetime ignored the plea of the workers asking them to pay them so that they don't die of hunger.
The personal assets of the employer is not important, this are individuals that own numerous businesses, and workers receive their salary on what the particular company they work for makes, if the company is not generating any income atm, paying workers becomes an issue, the owner can't deep hands into his own private pockets or sell properties to pay up.

4792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup and EFL Cup Prediction Thread on: July 18, 2020, 06:46:47 AM
Two big matches in the fa cup this weekend, all of these teams are not taking the fa cup for granted, they need this trophy to shape up their season. Arsenal vs Manchester City today; the odds as we all know are in city's favor, but what if Arsenal are the team that qualifies for the final. Manchester United vs Chelsea tomorrow; IIRC, United have beaten Chelsea three times already this season, are they going to deliver the last blow to their rivals and make it four, or will the blues get revenge Grin

What are your predictions? For me, it's Manchester City vs Manchester united in the final, a derby final will do for me Grin

P.S, I placed my bet on City to win half time and on United to qualify.
4793  Economy / Economics / Re: How will look the world in 2100? on: July 17, 2020, 10:19:20 PM
Nations with small populations in the future would likely progress even faster than other countries inhabited by larger numbers, as the necessities and other services would be provided by the government easily, and if the population is contented with how the government runs things, you might even see a workforce that is always motivated to do things in a timely and efficient manner, leading to growth in industries and the economy as well.
Nations with small population would still have very slow development and poor economies in the future if they do not fix that now; you take Africa as an example, most of the countries there are not so well populated, with just one country from Africa in the top ten most populous countries, but it's still ranked as the poorest continent in the world, in contrast to countries in Asia, like China and then we have the United States, two of the most populous, but they have the best economies in the world.

The state of the population can play a part in the future in terms of what the government provides going round/getting to almost everyone, but what's paramount is if countries are making progressive plans for the future and putting structures in place for the next half century and beyond, whether so populated or less.

Meh, another old player for the old lady if he comes.  Angry
Lol, Alexandre Lacazette is not too old, he is 29 and i think he has still got something left in the tank; on the transfer, for Arsenal this is not the time for them to lose their keys players, they are still trying to rebuild their team, i know Aubameyang remains their number one striker, but with rumors of his exit, they'll not want to lose Lacazette as well.

Juventus imo need a better striker than Lacazette (and Higuain as well) i don't know if Ronaldo will stay next season and even if he does, if he'll be able to perform very well, juve have been struggling of late, i think they need new (good) players, strikers included.
4795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Altcoins Failed To Win Over Bitcoin on: July 17, 2020, 08:26:20 PM
Now, what are the reasons behind this failure?
There are quite a lot: too many pump and dumps coins, project developers only out to reincarnate unsuccessful use cases for their coins, the ico doom and i can also add the fact many other forms of fundraising that came after, e.g ieo, didn't do better than their predecessors. I'm sure there are more reasons than this, but all of them have created the mindset in investors that altcoins are just as fake as a three-dollar bill, hence no need for diversification.

Although Ozil states that he is ready to be reduced, the opportunity to see himself returning to the field in the near future is likely to be difficult to realize, the article as reported by Goal, Mikel Arteta can not guarantee whether Ozil will be in the remainder of the 2019/20 season or not.
Mesut Ozil's situation at Arsenal is so confusing, you could look at the Arsenal squad, without too many quality players and wonder why Ozil doesn't play or at least make the matchday squad and prolly start on the bench and come on as a sub. Ozil was exquisite during his time in Madrid, and has also has a few good spells at Arsenal; IIRC, he was at one time in his career nicknamed the assist king, how has he gone from that to this?
4798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 17, 2020, 04:32:39 AM
Mine vote was also for Real Madrid as this season belong to them they done great job under Zidan and now next stop is Champions League where they will outclass Manchester City great team with great win hopefully next season could be more good as rival Barcelona is crashing badly and need some good time to settle things.
Congratulations to Real, they had a very good league season, especially in the few remaining games after the restart, and it was the most crucial time, any slip ups would have been costly, we saw how Barcelona dropped vital points to hand Madrid the title, you do that, and you can't be champions. If Zidane can now keep the team focused and united, i think Madrids time to dominate Spain again is here; that being said Florentino Perez should make sure Zidane stays this time Grin.

City are eyeing their first UCL, that makes them a dangerous opponent to anyone they face in the competition this season, imo, City will go through, not Madrid, they have a good goal scoring record at the Etihad, and they go into that 2nd leg with two away goals already, it will be too difficult for Madrid to turn around.

4800  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Finally used a bitcoin ATM successfully! on: July 15, 2020, 07:32:53 PM
Would I continue to buy bitcoin this way?  No, absolutely not.  I paid $50 for exactly $40 of bitcoin, and that just isn’t worth it, since I never have a dire need for crypto such that high, and I think the future of bitcoin ATMs is going to hinge on those fees being lowered.
I too may also not be using bitcoin ATM's (because of the Tx fees and i'd have to travel miles to use one in my country for now) but that'll be after my first successful attempt/experience; i think as a bitcoin enthusiast, trying a btc ATM at least once is an experience we should have. Just reading your topic, i already feel like wanting to use one; my country recently launched her first bitcoin ATM and it's in a different state from mine, and I've not visited there for over two years or so, i may prolly make something up just to go there and try it out, gosh now I wish I had an e-bike Grin
