I think you have a brilliant idea by providing opportunities for newbie and Junior members who have quality posts to be able to rank up based on the assistance of the merit you distribute, but it looks like you have to add some local rules to the thread that no one has registered for many accounts.

I also think that you should consider that accounts created after this thread has been issued will not be given a merit assuming that the account was created solely to get merit from you. Apart from all that, you have the right to determine how you should distribute merit for quality posts from low ranking users.

That's almost 1 year and 4 months time before we will be able to see the Olympics. I hope this will give players and countries to continue the preparation and those who were lacking in preparation can utilize this additional time and come strong after an year.

I don't think people should be posting in Local sections if they can't speak the language. The only exception I would probably make is if someone is looking for something like a good or service specifically from that country, or like theymos said in the Indian board most people are speaking English, but otherwise I think allowing this en masse is just going to be an excuse for people to find another section to spam in and since the Indian board doesn't have a mod this could easily be abused if it isn't already. I would ask the op why does he want to post in that section? I'm sure most people could talk about things like sports in India's sub-board but that doesn't mean they should.

Not every country is on quarantine and with travel restrictions but another reason to postpone is that there are indeed many countries seriously affected, so if their athletes would not be able to join the competition for objective pandemic policy reasons, the competition itself would not be fair. I can see that the decision has been made already about the games being postponed, and I believe it's the right decision. Sports betting industry is surely taking a big hit because of the pandemic, but people can still bet on Fantasy sports (right?), play poker and other games. I think that decreasing the number of deaths from the pandemic is currently more important than anything, so some setbacks and restrictions have to be accepted bravely.

This post isnt not bad, but there are many newbies guide posted here same like this. Better to find or search a topic that is new and more appealing. I salute you for your effort and continue you what you have started.

If I am one of the player, instead of being disappointed I will just consider myself lucky because I can train myself more to master the game that I will play. I'll just think that I am not yet fit to go on the game because maybe I am missing something on my health. Better to check if I am infected or not. Sometimes, postponement is meant for a more good thing.
