4781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 21, 2020, 10:41:30 AM

This "situation" will not last forever, this madness will pass! And as it's said earlier, some will find a way to adapt and survive, others will have to think about changing careers! But it's like with many other industries affected by new rules and regulations. In many ways most of us are affected, as always privileged are just the ones on the top!
That is exactly also what I look into this pandemic.

We'd never know who are behind this madness, we all are affected. Yet we don't like the new normal but the government pushing us to adapt to the situation. But gamblers still have the option and that is to watch live games online, online betting, and this is the advantage for online casinos. Probably they are happy with what the new normal happens, unlike how offline casinos felt this time.

Anyhow, the pandemic is likely already hitting its peak, pretty soon this will be over, and will be got back to the normal environment where we live.
4782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone inside this paid trading group ? on: October 21, 2020, 09:54:35 AM
You have nothing to expect from these pump and dump group. Joining them and this group seems so hopeless and you are just helping them to survive. Such reviews that we have read is enough for us to know what is really their intent. Should we have to try just to know it more? It finds ridiculous then, and I don't think that it works.

It was an obvious scam group, I suggest to keep away from them and any similar groups. There is no easy money in trading nor someone can predict the market flows, that is a thing that we should have to think always.
Greedy people will likely fall this kind of attraction and I don't want to wonder they are also the first to raise their hand and shout their complaints.

Scam groups and their activities will have to survive because there are a lot of people feeding them. If we all work together fighting this kind of group, keeping away from them, we gonna stop them.

And it doesn't give me a reason as well to be in with them, I don't think if there is someone who will tell their story.
4783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to move on if you've failed to meet the due date of a bounty campaign on: October 20, 2020, 10:43:20 PM
Participating in bounty or any signature campaign is just an opportunity. If you got accepted that is because the CM/BM thinking that you can make your job but if you got excluded from the list because you miss performing the task given, that is our fault and OP is right, we don't need to complain of them. That is our fault and that ourselves to be blamed as well, sending a message to the BM/CM is a way to make them informed and ask for another chance rather than whining to them because of your own mistake.
4784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 20, 2020, 12:59:53 PM
There is a big hype for defi tokens these days. I think most of it is dying but I don't expect any of it go away anytime soon and not until the end of 2021. You'll keep seeing new defi projects every now and then but investors have become more cautious after what happened to sushi, yam and few others. Its good to see top reputable coins are holding up nicely along with btc while everything else is crashing down.
What we experience during the ICO's day is likely the sameof what we saw with these Defi projects. Some are worth for investment but some also are worthless.

I shouldn't have to think a profitable investment with them, not even it encourage me to do it.
ICO, IEO, and Defi projects, most of them suffered downtrend trend motions after hitting on its peak which makes many investors losses their money. They aren't yet over but I expect investors are strated to ignore them.
4785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 20, 2020, 12:26:54 PM
Trading is risky but somehow the pandemic pushes some individuals to take the risk rather than doing nothing this time.

The opportunity comes and people never think about the risk they face because of all they wanted to make money.

I don't think it was a mistake for anyone who tried to trade but I don't think as well that we deem to blame the market because we lose in trading.
4786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 19, 2020, 11:17:05 PM
This is what I've got from a quote.
Quote
The question should not be how much I will profit on this trade!
The true question is; will I be fine if I don't profit from this trade."

– Yvan Byeajee

Have we felt comfortable in trading? A question that we need to answer before we continue risking our money and wasting our time.
Do we think trading is an easy job?  No, no one will say that but instead hearing many from them that trading is risky and possibly you'll lose any time of the day.

We have to know the fact that trading isn't for everyone.
4787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you promote bitcoin if you were Jack Dorsey (twitter's big boss)? on: October 19, 2020, 10:50:51 PM
He did better than I can think.

He has done enough for bitcoin. And I'm sure that he wouldn't just stop there, we've seen how Jack Dorsey's relative companies are working to spread more about bitcoin. He didn't just promoted it, he actually put money where his mouth is.

A lot of things he have made and he just did other popular people can't do.
Jack Dorsey? Oh he's a boss. I have to watch and listen to him.

That was easy for them to stimulate the mind of the people around because they are known already unlike if we do it, I'm not sure if there is someone who will spare their time listening to us.

I salute to a person like him who has been doing an exemplary things in crypto particulary for Bitcoin.

4789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 16, 2020, 11:28:39 AM
Every investor in this market has a strategy for himself. Some choose to keep it long because they are not good at everyday trading, some experienced people choose daily trading.
There are some people who practice both methods, however such people need a lot of knowledge and experience. It is difficult to know when to hold the long term and when to choose a short term investment.
We need to choose the best for ourselves. It is either a long-term or short-term investment, none of them could give assurance. That is why I'd never think about it but rather to take every opportunity to come.
Buy now and sell today, quite also effective in some other ways depending on the market flows. 2-3% gains are quite big enough in this volatile market.
4790  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 16, 2020, 10:28:25 AM
Hello @zazad
Sorry, it takes too long for me to reply and answer your interview. Yeah, I was thinking it almost everyday and it is my pleasure.

Questions:
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
An online search engine helps me to find crypto. Doubted at first but as I continue reading, review feedback, and it comes into the moments that one of my colleagues talking about it drives me to dig more about crypto and I was truly amazed that this is a gaining opportunity especially for a student like me.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
As a student with a small budget, it is impossible.  But I’d find a way to have and luckily, giving a chance to participate in the signature campaign helps me out and also for my studies.

3. How did you get on the forum?
Just like what I said in the first question, it is all coming from an online search. What it leads me to the forum and has registered because of what I’ve read and comes to some suggestions. I took this opportunity, yet it is really hard to understand what they are doing but it gives some interest to know what it is.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
Factors are:
1.   Internet connection
2.   Legality of Bitcoin/crypto
3.   Bad news
4.   Questionable existence

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
For those gambler wants to keep themselves anonymously, this is a perfect place for them. I don’t think about addiction because it was on our control, if we can do it then seem impossible to happen in our ends.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
I’m already in the crypto community for almost 5 years, I don’t read books but all of my learnings are coming from my personal experience.
2-3 years in the market is enough for us to know about crypto, can’t be an expert but for sure we know already what is the best thing to do for a better investment. Special education is not really necessary.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
I’d find this as a way to improve the forum and more informative but for the newbie, it is really hard for them to rank up.
In regards to the participating campaign, I hope CM will look into the post history, not only for the number of merits. It somehow been a practice by most and so I consider that this is very important by now.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
 Forum Rank/position/badges John K.
LoyceV’s seclog
Newbies

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
Thumbs up to the MODs and DT’s. They are already been working on it well and clean the forum. Only I can do is to give support to them.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
I’m not doing any investment since from the start but I do trading quite sometimes.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or a big loss?
As the bullish season hits on the market last 2017, I believe it was the time that I gain a lot from trading.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
I lost my expectation for them. Actually, I didn’t think also that the HYPE will keep their momentum for so long.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
That is one reason why people are adopting Bitcoin, I should be preferred for it. But as the developments continue it was noticed that we are started to lose our anonymity due to KYC required.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
Sorry but I don’t read any books, all are coming from an online search.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
I suggest keeping and only invest in Bitcoin. Some altcoins did some great ROI but couldn’t guarantee to long-term holding will work.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
I’ll keep in bullish, $14,300 is my bet.

15. P.S. (Optional)
4791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is new occupation on: October 16, 2020, 08:57:36 AM
In these hard times as most of us become jobless, staying at home, and have nothing to do it can be considered as an opportunity, not an occupation IMHO. The risk that involves in trading makes every trader feel some worries when the market correction comes. And I don't think that they keep their position if the pandemic is over, it for sure many traders will find a job that has less risk/ or nothing.
4792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 15, 2020, 10:38:47 PM
Will this be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies because there are so many projects and project developments using blockchain technology

There arealso so many crap, overhyped, scam projects. quantity is not important but quality is. i hope bigger companies are going to start believe in and work on blockchain technology in near future.
I've found that things can't be change easily. Many people will take the opportunity to scam people through creating crap projects, push to hype, and after they have money for innocent people they are quickly disappear. That was crazy and we witness that especially this time as the numbers of crypto projects increasing.

TBH, it is hardly to find good projects at this time.
4793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone inside this paid trading group ? on: October 15, 2020, 12:55:52 AM
I am not sure paid trading groups will satisfy my needs because I have paid once for crypto groups which takes the orders from other paid groups. The fee was less than 0.1 BTC but the shared tips worth to pay this amount. After 2017, the group management has closed the group for new members, and a few months later group has been deleted from Telegram. "Crypto Pump Island" is the first time I heard about, maybe you can ask for weekly membership to test it.
It is better not to try.
Well, it was clear to see that this Crypto Pump Island group has involved in many scam issues and I don't think we need to find it just to prove that they are worth trying.

This has been in question in the past year.

4794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next crypto to explode - Sentivate on: October 15, 2020, 12:29:23 AM
I've looked into this project and I think it has the potential to be huge if it catches on. It combines the regular web and decentralized web all into one product, which will make development so much easier for devs.

If you compare this to other "Web 3.0" projects- EOS, ETH, TRX, ADA- the current market cap is insanely low. This could easily 50x or more after launch.

Yes, they are low in market cap but seeing their market volume, that is more insane than this Defi projects. Why they are better than those Defi projects it is not measured by market cap, it is measured by the potentiality of the project.
I don't want to make a conclusion in regards to the Sentivate token but I was afraid then that it can be the same for the other Decentralize projects. I just hope that the team will look strategy that could help to sustain the current momentum
4795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet on: October 14, 2020, 05:27:27 AM
A lot of things to consider why we can say that Bitcoin isn't a User-friendly.
-they know how to create online wallet?
-they know how to send and receive Bitcoin?
-they know how to keep the keys?

There's a lot of things we need to acquire first and these makes newcomers feels uneasy and think that Bitcoin is not a user-friendly. And much more it slowed the adoption when it was ban at their country.
4796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 14, 2020, 05:08:40 AM
I know many project managers that handles good projects such as Jamalezaz, bounty detective, and many others most of them are either hero members or legend, I believe they have enough experience to handle it mere considering their ranks, not to say the rank is the only criteria to be a good project manager.i always doubt those project starters with newbie ranks.is it that they decide to use a new forum page,or were the restarting after being hacked or disqualified or how come a new be is handling a project? This are few questions that comes to my mind about newbie managers.
It depends upon the manager sir, whether he is newbie or not if he is good enough in managing the campaign, the campaign will result into good. I have also some of the bounty campaign where newbie is the manager and  it turns out to be good because maybe the team behind the project are also very active and got lots of investors for the project.
There is some cases like that which a certain project owner created an account here to promote their own project but if you take a look into scam projects you will see that most of them have been run by new account. It is no wonder why most bounty participants has been doubtful in participating campaign that has been run with fresh account, most of them will choose those high ranks and also to those who have been known in this field.
4797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s next for Libra? on: October 12, 2020, 11:56:40 PM
Nothing.
Libra is so hot before when FaceBook founder announces their launch but I can't remember how short they rally on the market and then gone. And after that big issue about the Libra coin, I didn't hear anything about that FB founder's next step. He probably quit crypto and have no interest to rebuilt it nor creating another coin.
4798  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun-Most trusted & coolest looking provably fair blackjack in Market on: October 11, 2020, 11:03:52 PM
I suggest opening up public access so that anyone can test it in their free time as we are in different timezones.

Good suggestion. But maybe they want to organize the test for Bitcointalk players only.

In public access, a username is not mandatory so a stranger can test the game without the risks in Multiplayer. And also if someone wants to play anonymously against each other since it's just a beta phase.
I'm not sure how it makes a deal for the team because it needs us to register and it requires a username. Actually, we can still make it anonymously without filling KYC, make use of your username far different from your name. For as long as KYC is not mandatory, it won't make worries.
Anyway, as they have said they are continuing the development and I expect a favorable result that gamblers have wanted.
4799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2020, 12:36:57 PM
Will this be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies because there are so many projects and project developments using blockchain technology
Don't get wonder why it goes like this. The number of crypto projects is growing but somehow many of them were just worthless. If we think about the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency? Yes, we have already started it in the past years. The adoption keeps moving on that is why we might seeing an increase in crypto projects but as I've said, not all of them will stay on the market long, some of them will just be dead.
4800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 09, 2020, 12:27:04 PM
It was a dumb thing to ask if the sites have the license or don't have but as we are wanted to play safe, I think it was a good practice to consider before playing with their site, or even on any offline casinos. And I don't think also that gambling sites will prohibit us to know that as it was our right to ask them. If they can show nothing then that was difficult but if they can, the more it attracts players.
