it is still too soon to say that the defi project has ended, there are still so many new defi projects.
and investors are still interested in investing in defi, I think defi will continue until 2021.
some of the newly released ico still use defi.
if there is a new trend then it will spread fast in the market.

Well, that could be possible but looking at what it happens to most of them, they are actually moving down. Could be the HYPE is over? Or the Defi projects have become worthless and investors are now leaving making the market suffer.

Not only the US has worked to recover their economy, but all countries also had to make their way to recover their big losses as the pandemic ruin it. I couldn't say that this influence the current changes in regards to Defi projects. It is very unfortunate that what it happens to ICO and IEO before has also been happening to them.

ICO and DeFi Projects are still running. it's not over yet. there are so many DeFi project now and they still have so many investors that invest in DeFi projects. i think DeFi will still hype until next few months. also i don't think that we will not see the old good altcoins revolution if they don't have any big improvement on their projects. for now i think old good altcoins is just good for trading.

Currently some Defi projects are performing well in the market which indicates that people are still interested in Defi projects so Imo Defi projects is not over yet. these days mostly crypto community is focusing on defi projects to make profit in short time but it's not mean the time of good old atlcoins is over I believe whenever defi hype will be over then some quality old altcoins may give impressive performance.

I agree. While most of the new projects ride off the back of DeFi this sector in particular is still going strong. For sure, project selection to get a strong hold is required but at least there's still potential left. Having already backed up DeFi, I do also believe some strong alts will keep on going these in my opinion beside BTC are ETH, LTC, XRP and maybe LINK. I'm not so sure about the last as its performance lately hasn't been all that great but I do know a few projects which rely heavily on this coin so maybe this will turn around.

There's still chances that you can continue benefiting with those new projects just need

DEFI will never, it is just the start

The current DEFI is mainly Yield farming, lending and borrowing
Look further
Flash loans, debt consolidation, and all these traditional finance product will be available because of DEFI

Coins like EOS, LTC, BCH, XRP are just purely blockchain coins
Easily replaceable once they got no adoption
We need working products, not Blockchains
We had way too many Blockchains here

while old coins are similar with blockchain, but LTC for example is better for small transactions as it has fast and cheap fees.
Eth and BTC are not similar too, Eth is good for automated contracts.

yes they have similar blockchain system, but i can say some altcoins as like Eth and LTC could be better than BTC in some cases.

100% agree with you, we can't judge a hype is a destroyer of the ecosystem, instead we have to think that hype is an opportunity for us to be able to invest and earn money.

I think DeFi hype is not over yet. It will take some more time to be over. Some people are still interested in DeFi.
Old is gold. The new trend will come and go but the old ones will survive.

We are gradually coming to the end of the defi boom but there are new opportunities colliding with the Defi coins. the NFT tokens which is about to replace the DEFI boom but it seems the DEFI projects are aligning their project with the NFT sector. we might still see the DEFI project for long as they align with current trends. besides traditional banks has been in existence for long and they are not going away.

Defi is still on its, as what you said, "revolution period". For me, it will also take a lot of time before it will follow the path of ICO, or maybe not. It is true that coins may come and go, but losing its' value is not yet to be considered. As of now, it still hype, so let's take opportunities from it.

There are still people who think that a centralized coin will rally, even in the speculation thread you will find many topics regarding how the valuation of XRP reaching a dollar.

Defi "revolution" never happened, there was a hyped amount of money going into it but there was also the logic of "money locked" which made it look like there were more money locked there than there were actually real money involved.

A typical hype train, i am not too engaged in the DeFi market, i am hearing about reports about millions being locked away and so was the reason ETH had a huge rally, but i had no idea about the mirage you were talking about.

Just need to find the right gems that will survive this defi winter and grow to be the biggest projects we have seen yet

I think DeFi will still exist until 2021, I see many Defi projects that use NFT as their feature. This is a great step for Defi's development. But, I'm always looking forward to crypto developments in the future.

What we experience during the ICO's day is likely the sameof what we saw with these Defi projects. Some are worth for investment but some also are worthless.

I shouldn't have to think a profitable investment with them, not even it encourage me to do it.
ICO, IEO, and Defi projects, most of them suffered downtrend trend motions after hitting on its peak which makes many investors losses their money. They aren't yet over but I expect investors are strated to ignore them.
