Cute horses with names.  Tongue

Are those horses won't run until all of the bets are placed for each of them? My suggestion is that start the race every 5 mins or 10 mins with or without bets.

In this period given, bettors and visitors can see will have an actual example of its race.
4782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run Will Be ‘Dramatically Different’ on: August 05, 2020, 11:50:19 PM
Every bitcoin bull run season comes with her own level of volatility. This year bull season might be quite different from 2017 bull run. Whereas we'll be able to see a steady increase in price after the bull run not as 2017 steady decrease in price after the bull season has commenced for a while, making people to lose their whole investment
As they say, fundamentals are getting stronger this time and the growth that we're seeing is no longer be called a bubble. There's an actual growth that we can compare to the past bull runs that we have.

It's true that this time, there will be a difference from the last ones.

It sure is three years and so many things have happened, so many projects come and go so many companies and institutions adopted Cryptocurrency and investors are more aware and educated, the landscape is very much different from what we had back 2017 so we expect the next bull run will be very much different from the one we last have, we could experience a more longer bull run.
The investors that have experienced the bulls and bears can be said as experienced and educated. But, the new investors that are keep coming can also experience the same struggle like the others or like what we did before.
4783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hackers Arrested! [Updated] on: August 05, 2020, 10:55:41 PM
I have heard quite a few times that in such cases where big companies get hacked they find the hacker and when he is about to go to jail the company hires them as their cybersecurity employee. What do you guys think ? Will these guys get a job at Twitter too ?  Grin
I'm also thinking of this. If Twitter won't hire them and no one will bail them, there's a chance that they will work on Pentagon or any US department or might be the secret service. That's also based from those news that I have heard in the past.

If that's just a conspiracy, well it made me believed a lot all of my life since when I was a teenager. But if those things were for real, they will have a chance to correct what they've done.

Otherwise, they have to pay the damages that they have brought.
If the perpetrators of such crimes have the potential to become or quickly become an employee, there will be concerns about other hackers who expect the job because there have been many incidents like this, instead of being punished or jailed but instead being employed without any prior punishment, if compared to immediately be hired or treated preferentially, I think it would be good to get a punishment first before being hired and not care about their age because it has to do with crime.
But we will never know what will happen to them if there will be no reports by the media. If a company or if the government truly sees the potential on them, they will simply absorb them.

I'm expecting that if there will be no more updates and news about this issue, it's like that they'll let the issue die eventually and we will never know what happened to them. If they have been hired and employed.

4784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: selling a brand new fully working cryptocurrency on: August 05, 2020, 10:12:28 PM
hi, yes the initial idea was to make the coin and promote it but i dont have the money now, and yes the dev process is quite complex and after its ready you also need some money to create the hype around it. Maybe NANO wasnt a good choice for me to fork. But it doesnt matter. The problem is i didnt expect covid-19 lockdown to come, and it left me with empty pockets afterwards. So i cant promote the coin, as i see nobody is interested in having his own cryptocurrency. i will just shut down the servers and concentrate on finding a job.
It's an unexpected global hit and never thought that it could be big as this pandemic but moving forward. If it didn't work for you, I guess you have an idea where it is going. Nobody wants to have their own crypto these days and it's better to buy and hold bitcoin and other important cryptos.

I won't be asking how much you have spent on it and I'll say that you might have a better future through looking for a job and building up yourself again through it, good luck.
4785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 05, 2020, 09:40:09 PM
Not applicable for holders who don't have another place to store it. It's a good idea and wake-up call as you analyze what happened but it's not just everyone have the other place to store their private keys or can ask someone to do that.

You can reinvent or think of it how you can quickly bring it if some disaster comes. We have our natural instinct how we will protect ourselves and as well as our assets that's in the safety box or any storage you have placed your private keys, paper wallets, etc.
4786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Best Course Of Action? on: August 05, 2020, 09:09:37 PM
How long do you want to keep it for yourself? Are you aiming for a long term hold or you just want to ride the wave and will eventually sell. Determine yourself if you have plans for a lifetime and you can hold for about more than 1-2 years or more.

I've said lifetime but it doesn't mean that you shall hold forever. It includes you selling at the best prices ever if we reach all-time highs again. Do you trade and you are ok riding the daily volatility? it's all gonna depend on you.
4787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum-Forsage on: August 04, 2020, 11:40:37 PM
This makes it more dubious and unreliable. It is a Ponzi scheme designed to only enrich the first elites and make the last investors to cry for their hope and wail to death.
And people who have invested on this Ponzi scheme are even trying to defend this scam. They can't get out of it and encouraging themselves that they are in good hands.

Although they are being reminded and started to realize that it's a scheme that's about to collapse soon, they won't listen because they don't have their money yet so the option for them is to defend it and stay.

There are plenty of proofs that's been provided like those links given at the top.
4788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin touch $15K till end of 2020? on: August 04, 2020, 06:36:49 PM
With the situations now, I guess that bitcoin price will touch $15k before the end of 2020. But that will be different if suddenly, the price drops too deep, and that can make the price will need more time to rise again. As long as bitcoin price can stay at $11k for a while, I think bitcoin price will break $12k in a short time, and still increase to break another high price.
Yes, I concur that $15k is likely to happen before this year ends. But the basic principle that we should apply as usual for bitcoin is it is volatile at all times.

No one can have the exact prediction of which price will be seen by a specific period of time. $15k or more or even lower with what we have. We can't tell us we're all guessing and just following where it is bringing us. But realistically speaking, it's possible.
4789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Best Etheruem Poker Casinos of 2020 on: August 04, 2020, 05:57:56 PM
Before making the review, did you asked any poll or there are none? and if all of it is based from your criteria that you have mentioned in your article? I don't usually gamble poker with Ethereum but are those poker casinos are also a crowded place like what we have with BTC poker casinos?

Just like the other review you have made, I think this goes to Service Discussion (Altcoins).

Not interested on purchasing your brand new cryptocurrency. But, I don't see the sense of making one and just selling it as if you're selling a product in the market place that you are ok with it and just take profit.

Because selling something like this isn't like that, there's a sense of responsibility for what you're doing. But somehow, I also understand you being a developer if you don't have any choice.

I'm saying this because we've got bunch of cryptocurrencies already that have no value after their launching.
4792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Stephen Wolfram" says bitcoin creator is known classified material on: August 03, 2020, 11:27:37 PM
Mr. Stephen Wolfram is a respectable scientist. But now at age 60, he spends most of his time promoting a commercial product, by his for-profit company.
Thank you for this brief description who is he. I have no idea that the guy is a scientist that's been respected.

Anyone who has a well-known name in any industry can make statements like him. I think we have heard someone telling this before that satoshi is the CIA, at the end, it's still his opinion and it's for the viewers or people discretion who would hear him if they'll believe or it.

Nevertheless, nobody knows Satoshi and that's what I believe.
This.
4793  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 03, 2020, 03:45:24 PM
The pandemic made those companies earn more because everyone is at home and has nothing to do but to watch on YouTube, buy things on Amazon, and use Facebook to browse and communicate with other people.

Online businesses are really popular nowadays and we prefer to buy online using our debt cards and bank accounts to a much faster payment. Those businesses do really have a lot of customers because shopping outside isn't safe and it is hard to deal with the environment when there's still a risk of getting the virus from malls, markets, and other shops, so people prefer to spend their money online.

Social media really connects people, so with the use of Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and etc., you can still be updated with someone.
Things are going digital and it's a very imminent innovation which we have to embrace. Everybody is coping up and there is no option but also to be with these technologies that can also help us with our daily lives.

Even before the pandemic, online deliveries or ecommerce is a massive industry which have been believed to be going on for the next years to come and will create a lot of millionaires through this business just like what Amazon did.
4794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not many try to buy on Bitfinex, but many try to sell on Bitfinex these days... on: August 03, 2020, 02:08:51 PM
To add insult to injury Bitcoin will blow past where they sold it and reach new all highs.
This is for sure.

They can sell and let them do as they wish. But once bitcoin blows and skyrockets again, they won't be prepared if that time comes.
4795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits USD 12K, Crashes By USD 800 In Minutes!! on: August 02, 2020, 01:34:37 PM
IMO, that's a healthy and expected flash crash. I'm not expecting it that it will go through $13,000 as quickly as it can be. But this is the pullback which is another good sign that we'll get back there once again.

It's better to buy right now since the price is on bargain at the moment.
Everybody has been saying this for each level and yes, it's always the right time to buy whenever we see crashes like this. Because the chance that it will recover fast and get a higher price is always there.
4796  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 02, 2020, 10:42:10 AM
The pandemic made those companies earn more because everyone is at home and has nothing to do but to watch on YouTube, buy things on Amazon, and use Facebook to browse and communicate with other people.

But also the good news is that these websites also helped thousands of people to make a living during the pandemic. More orders through social media and businesses were made and that's also the other side that we must appreciate with their rise.
4797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: August 01, 2020, 07:34:03 AM
I never thought that it's been done by a teenager. Who have thought of that? I guess no one. I thought that this was made by a group of hackers that have been doing this for a long time.

If the master mind boy of Twitter hacking got arrested then I think the funds what had been stolen can recover easily.
Is this will happen actually? What you think? It should be recovered because who have funds got arrested if suspect is true.
It's possible to retrieve the funds and can be recovered if the boy returns it at his own will or mandated, I don't know the actual procedure on this matter. But if he just shut his mouth and talks not about it, they can't do anything with it. Looking positively, if the funds have been recovered, we will never know if the person assigned will be honest in returning those to the victims. Although, I'm wishing all the best that the funds will be returned gradually to all of those affected people.
4798  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Thailand issues licenses for 13 digital currency service providers on: August 01, 2020, 05:29:18 AM
Another good news, for the Thai crypto community, for now the Thai government has approved several exchanges such as: Zipmex, Huobi Thailand, Bitcoin Co. Ltd, ERX etc., this is the best step taken by (SEC) Thailand at the moment.
Thai citizens won't be having trouble of exchanging, buying or selling their cryptos with these exchanges. Unlike the other Asian countries that do struggle with the licensing and even the acceptance of cryptocurrencies.

Thailand is on the right track the same with other countries that are very welcoming to cryptocurrencies. Having several exchanges based on their country means competition of providing the best service and it's favorable for the customers.
4799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling MAID below market rate on: August 01, 2020, 04:38:48 AM
Thanks for that additional knowledge you have shared to me. It's the old coin that also once became popular, right? the fees are quite high for that, knowing that the volume is lower this time.

I'm just suggesting an escrow so that you'll be safe with your trade but if that's the case, please be careful with anybody in the forum if you'll get a taker.
4800  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Thailand issues licenses for 13 digital currency service providers on: July 31, 2020, 09:16:19 AM
Good job for the Thailand government and its royalty. Asian countries are starting to recognize that there's an actual market for cryptocurrencies and if they will keep issuing licenses to those interested companies who wants to operate in their countries.

They should give it a chance as long as they will submit and comply to their regulatory requirements. Having a lot of applications and grants from these digital asset exchanges means that there is a big market circulating in Thailand for cryptocurrencies.
