481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "Investing" Sites That Are Trying To Scam You,& Are Succeeding. on: October 02, 2017, 07:00:25 AM
I don't know these sites but just for your information, these kind of sites appeared at least in 2013, that's when I got in contact with some of them. There is nothing new, I think the same people are rebuilding sites continuously with ponzi and HYIP schemes. They are getting better every time, they improve, they earn more money and they invest more money so more people could lose their money.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: October 02, 2017, 06:17:23 AM
DO army shilling at max power! It's beyond 9000! Cheesy

This is pathetic guys, seriously.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours saying Neo is now legal in China on: October 01, 2017, 02:04:04 PM
This is probably where the rumors started. This article has since been deleted from the website:

https://web-beta.archive.org/web/20170925193139/https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/neo-founder-da-hongfei-advised-china-ico-ban-govt-collaboration-possible/

And these other articles refer to that news:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/neo-price-surges-founder-says-government-collaboration-possible/

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/neo-leads-crypto-market-30-price-surge/ (also mentions Bitfinex added NEO)

Quote
NEO founder Da Hongfei […] speculated that a future collaboration between NEO and the Chinese government is a possibility.

https://cryptovest.com/news/neo-proves-its-strength-price-up-25-good-news-pile-up/

I should note that an issuer (or affiliate of the issuer) making speculative statements (i.e. which are not statements of material facts) are illegal in terms of most securities laws in the world. He is attempting to pump up the price, but perhaps digging deeper legal problems in the future.

This yet again more of the scammy nature of our ecosystem, attempting to hype empty Pets.com bags to greater fools. As with the Dot.com bust, this will not end well when the ICO bubble finally collapses into a pile of rubble.

Enjoy it while you can.

(Oh remember, yeah right I am just jealous and I can’t get along with anyone so entirely ignore everything I wrote  Roll Eyes)

What a gem of a post we have here, hilarious and true at the same time. In the outside world, for such claims, a real security can be destroyed with the CEO facing serious accusations, yes, just for a speculation!
So we have two possible cases here:
1) He knows this and he doesn't care as he is either anonymous or in a safe heaven where he can't be touched.
2) He is so ignorant and stupid that he doesn't even know that it is illegal to do what he is doing.

Which one is it?
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash vs Monero vs Komodo on: September 30, 2017, 09:20:55 AM
Monero is best, I use it and I like it.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WARNING] ats tokens scam on: September 30, 2017, 09:18:48 AM
Every scam coin's topic gets better everyday. Cheesy

How do they say it? Every second there is a new sucker born. That's why we have so many scams.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In your opinion, whats wrong with the current Crypto-Community? on: September 29, 2017, 01:54:35 PM
As stated in the title, what do you think is the biggest problem in the Crypto Community?

Greed.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan starts registering exchanges on: September 29, 2017, 01:23:51 PM
Japan on it's move to regulate cryptocoins, has started licensing exchanges operating inside it's jurisdiction.
https://www.bitsonline.com/japanese-exchanges-licenses/

Quoinex becomes the first to get such license followed by bitflyer.

So, are we going towards more kyc, identity verification, source of income, income tax, profit tax, remittance tax?

Of course! Not all governments yet fully realized how to tax the money from mining and crypto trade, but some of them are touching the ground. Sooner or later, most miners will pay taxes. You can't hide from the taxman Smiley.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all airdrops safe? on: September 28, 2017, 08:32:31 PM
If you need to install something not trustful, install it on a PC run from a virtual CD with no HDD connected, install it on a flash memory card, which contains nothing of value.

Anyway, there are little non-scam airdrop, so staying away from any might be a solution as well, participating in a scam airdrop will make huge loses, if not for you, for somebody else, so staying away is an option for those who cares about their principles and morality.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here is the list of altcoin you should watch out for on: September 26, 2017, 04:48:13 AM
A list full of shitcoins, thank's OP.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Piratebay it is Safebrowse on: September 25, 2017, 02:23:59 PM

491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether? on: September 25, 2017, 09:15:46 AM
The process of Tether maintaining it's 1$ value from what I know is following:

User buys 1$ worth of tether -> Tether Network (Company, Devs) "prints" 1USDT
User sells his 1USDT for Fiat -> Tether Network destroys the printed USDT.

So, as long as the developers are doing what they say they do, Tether is safe.
But if something goes wrong, I don't know what can happen, expect the worst.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: September 25, 2017, 09:00:17 AM
Interesting, so how many we will have in the end? 10? 100 bitcoin forks? Cheesy
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Deep Onion on: September 24, 2017, 12:11:34 PM
Bitcoin Vs Deep Onion. What can you say?  Can you tell the difference?

Share your thoughts :-)

Mentioning Bitcoin vs Deep Onion is an insult to Bitcoin.  There is no competition when comparing the two.  Bitcoin is known worldwide and Deep Onion is only known by those who wear it's signature.

Actually, it's an insult to common sense, basic cognitive knowledge and critical thinking. It's not even funny, so not even a joke. The statement of the OP is just trolling to get more attention to this shitcoin.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple Bounce Again? on: September 23, 2017, 11:50:23 AM
Ripple is not even a coin, it's a scheme to enrich some people.

Just sell what you have and move to a nice coin, not this premined shitcoin.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: September 23, 2017, 11:38:04 AM
Why do people need to create a coin for every aspect of their life?

What exactly will you do with the coin mined by your phone? Can't you do that with already existing coins?
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Endorsed Cryptocurrency on: September 23, 2017, 11:34:31 AM
I don't mind, I would just like the celebrities to get involved into proved coins, legit, fair, decentralized, not in new shitcoins.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WARNING] ats tokens scam on: September 20, 2017, 12:21:34 PM
I signed up for this shitcoin, just for fun, no referral, did not promote them, just 1 sign up with 1 e-mail.

Guess what? Did not receive what they promised. Cheesy I knew it is scam, did not know it was a cheap scam Cheesy .
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for ICO ready to moon! on: September 20, 2017, 12:03:59 PM
Promoting a shitcoin while waiting for suggestions on another or just promoting your shitcoin op?
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etch ICO to the moon on: September 20, 2017, 11:26:54 AM
