Bitcoin and Deep Onion is a completely different my friend.
Bitcoin is a genuine item while Deep Onion is an altcoin.
no matter what an altcoin will never surpass the genuine,
but in term of technology Deep Onion have a good anonymity,while they are using Tor to hidden the IP.

The difference between these two are easy. Bitcoin is an old original coin, the mother of all crypto currency, while deep onion is just like any other alt coins. Both are profitable but if you are going to ask me which is better in getting profit, I would say that just go with bitcoin. This will never get old and even how many alt coins will come out there, bitcoin will remain.

Deep onion is a nice project but bitcoin is the king of all cryptos.
There are too much dumpers for deep onion and competitors are really good. Keep supporting them but always bitcoin wins

Deep Onion runs on TOR network which is different from bitcoin, which runs on open web protocol. User's IP's addresses aren't exposed through the network, thus making it much more secure for end users.

I think we've got to keep ourselves realistic. I really like Deeponion and I want the community and the coin to thrive, so I think it's healthy to not overhype things and keep ourselves realistic, so that people know what they're getting into and don't treat DO as any other altcoin.

Deeponion has an amazing team of devs behind it, and even though the anonymity tech is sweet compared to what bitcoin has, that's what really shines for Deeponion in my opinion. Bitcoin is the mother of all coins, and it will probably always be #1, but I think that Deeponion has a real chance at being a really big altcoin! This is a realistic goal - if we set a goal of upending bitcoin... well, I think that's too unrealistic and will turn people off. The devs are currently working on deepsend and after they debut that I think more people will see the capability that this team has, and what the future will bring. It will be the devs that CONTINUE to add tech to the coin that will keep it alive. Plus, the DO community has its own forum with thousands of posts, and is very well moderated. A healthy and realistic community that will make this coin in the top 10!

There are big differences between these two coin. Bitcoin is the biggest community. Compare to Deeponion, it is a newly created altcoin and also the community is small. Bitcoin is the most trusted by many people worldwide. Deeponion is not. But if you compare the feature, they have the same function. They are aiming to provide anonymous transactions. But deeponion is slightly at edge because of more developed feature. It can hide your IP since they are using TOR technology. I don't think it has the ability to surpass bitcoin.

Bitcoin still the king of all crytocurrency. Deep onion i don't think will be successful because of TOR. Governments obviously will do actions against it. Bitcoin is now regulated because of AML/KYC policy. But deep onion is a good project tho. Good luck to Deep Onion.

There were expectation Deepcoin would be used on the darkweb but this is just an speculation since there are more users using XMR than it. Bitcoin were pretty much used on darkweb too as people say. Deepcoin is also anon coin while BTC isn't.

You are sounding too diehard in promoting DeepOnion, my friend. I guess you are asking what is the difference between Mount Everest and the mole hill just found at you backyard. The answer is pretty much obvious. The former is a king, and the latter is his one humble follower.

I would agree also, infact there is no comparison between BTC and ONION. ONION still is in its infant stage and it is still growing and have a long way ahead of it to reach the level of maturity of BTC.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE WE DON'T KNOW THE ACTUAL CREATOR OF BTC BUT ONION DEV TEAM IS IN THE FRONT FROM THE BEGINNING OF ONION COIN.

Huge miles different and why you compare this 2 coins? While it so clear that deeponion cannot beat the bitcoins or came to the point that it will go close unto it so stop being pathetic since there are so many good coins that has lot of potential unlike that deeponion coin that you posted here. But its better to convert it with btc and buy back again if it will fall so you can earn some money by trading onions.

This is a silly thread -- But I will humor the OP and post my thoughts.

I'm going to use baseball to compare bitcoin and deeponion -- that's right sports fans! ...

If this were baseball -- Bitcoin would be the guy who created the game ( Abner Doubleday ) or maybe even the first team ( Cincinnati Red Stockings ).
DeepOnion would just be a current All-Star player in Little League or Sandy Colfax.

That, of course, doesn't mean that one day that Little Leaguer can't grow up to win a World Series or be the commissioner of the league.

100 years ago probably every Sports fan knew who Abner Doubleday or the Cincinnati Red Stockings were - I bet most of you who read this, had literally no idea who they were until I told you

It's entirely unlikely in my opinion that BTC and DeepOnion will ever be in the same category (especially since Eth and Btc aren't even really comparable) -- but anything is possible.
