I agree with you this is token is for long term project but some people wants quick profit and they want it the soonest possible I'm sure some miners have made jackpot here I will continue to hold my coin with the bonus and the very low ico price it's still profitable. You still think this is a serious project, really? "Mobile mining" advertising and all are mining with GPUs? Difficulty is going sky high. No one will be able to mine anything with mobile phone. |

What is Ironic and funny about this whole situation, is the same people in the telegram groups spamming for weeks "HODL HODL HODL FOR 1-3 YEARS!!!!!" are the same ones crying and whining "I DON'T HAVE MY COINS!!!! I WANT TO PUT IT IN EXCHANGE!!!!" or the same people saying "SCAM SCAM SCAM" If it were me, like I am right now, I am chillax, I wanted/hoped to at least sell a little bit to get my initial investment back to pay a bill, but I'd rather our accounts and assets be secure rather than have the potential of some hacker group (like what was noted) compromise everyone's account... If the people TRULY wanted to "HODL HODL HODL FOR 1-3 YEARS" then they would have NO reason to cry and whine and be little babies about it. While yes right now it is pretty shitty, given the fact that there hasn't really been any new updates in well over half a day now; it should work itself out in the next couple days... At least for me, I have a surgery coming on Friday, so I will be drugged out for the next week so I won't be tempted to be greedy and sell LOL  Its totally unfair and unprofessional. Have to hear about guys getting 1/2 BTC worth in one day of mining on their home PC pisses me off personally. They didn't invest more than maybe a dollar in electricity. Real investors like myself have to sit and watch. No option to sell what I choose to. I would probably sell enough to cover my initial investment perhaps more. Should be my choice. What they should have done was waited until online wallets were functional to list it. Not give a huge head start for miners who have nothing in this. I put a lot of my hard earned money into this campaign and this is 100% BS. FYI most your post is reasonable but small portions you come across like a real piece of work......... Don't pick out perhaps 1/2 percent of the REAL investors and assume they are all posting that BS in here. I sure the hell never did. In the real world outside of cryptoland this doesn't happen. You can already mine this awesome coin on COMPUTER, it works like butter and you can get rich without working a real job. When is the mobile miner app going live, today maybe?
If I mine on my PC and cell phone I will doubly my net income salary. I dont like working real jobs anyway, they are not the best. I like to just mine Electroneum all day and watch my money increase while I watch a video etc. Life is all about ENJOYING it not working. Am i rite?
Bad news: all people believed and invested in this thinking it was a new mobile mining currency. It's not.So it's worth almost nothing (a Monero fork made in 15 minutes). |

What kind of indicators did you find that make this a scam coin? Totally ridiculous. This is anything but a scam coin.
The Dev literally forked Monero github made 5 commits, started 3 pools and has $100 Million in ICO money.

just a couple more commits, upload some images for the startup splash screen and stuff, update the nodes, changes Monero Labs to Electroneum LTD and wham your done.

We are in the same boat man. Fear of just wasting time + electricity is top level. Use my wallet guide few pages back. Also what electricity would you waste in 1 day? My system with 6*1070 uses roughly 500W/h while im payin 24Cents/kwh. Tops out at 2,80€/day. Not to mention that ive mined 14k etn already in about 12h - lets guess what the price will be. Im damn sure it wont be anywhere near 0.01$ ;-) Right now its a waste anyways if you dont believe in future. What if something is wrong and I haven't mined anything? There is a serious need of pool website to check. |

Of course not. They should have banned or at least limited CPU\GPU mining. And it's not. So no point at all to use smartphone to mine ETNs (and it's not active too). Since it's just simulated mining on mobile, they can adjust the reward rate on the mobile miner however they want, as long as they still have plenty of ETNs in the mobile mining reward reserve. You can check your balance anytime by syncing your wallet. No need to do that through the block explorer.
If you have a paper wallet, simply use the param for the cli.
Client? Which client? There is no client wallet available for Electroneum. Can you link it please? And how to use block explorer to check balance? Just transactions are present. |

Good question but no, read the whitepaper What's the purpouse of mobile mining if it still can be miner with CPU and GPU (even if you have hidden GPU miners)? One modern GPU can mine with the same hash as 50+ mobile phones. Can somebody ban this prick from this thread!! Can you explain yourself? I am being constructive here. You are not, the one to be banned. My pixel phone does 20 H/s on XMR minergate. My I7 on one thread Windows ETN miner, does about 37 H/s. My 1070 does 644 H/s, my 1080 does 577 H/s. In case someone wants to see some benchmarks on cryptonote. So I am totally right? |

It's not true. Many people here are mining with GPU (I don't know why they have hidden GPU miners in the Electroneum page... or maybe I do). Of course mobile mining (even if it worked) is totally useless like this. It would have had some sense if they ban GPU too and not just ASICs, but it's not the case seeing the coin is like Monero. |
