Don't pay as much attention to USD prices, instead focus on BTC prices in relation to your trade. If you started the day with .02 BTC then aim for .0208 BTC.

Im definitely watching this one, but staying on the sidelines for now. I want to see how the SEC/CFTC handles regulations in the future with this type of model. I believe there will be some rocky roads ahead, thanks to the US Gov, but once the regulations become more clear it will be smooth sailing for companies like BMC.

Recently I invested in DASH and got a very good profit. This has become one of the most successful investments this year. The coin will still show itself on the good side
I don't own any Dash at the moment, but believe it will climb higher and higher. Check the relationship between price and difficulty for LTC when the Antminer L3+ really started hitting the market in May 2018. If that is any indication of the future for Dash, we will see Difficulty lead the price higher soon as the D3s are starting to ship and will be hitting the market over the next few months.

The price will absolutely go up and it will go down. The question is when and how much At some point we will have a black swan event and BTC (along with the entire crypto market) will crash again, but it will rebuild and come back from the ashes. The tin-foil hat side of me thinks the markets will be manipulated downwards by big financial institutions that missed out on the low prices. They create havoc (FUD, regulations, taxes, etc) and buy when it hits rock bottom.

Bitshares is great. Its been around since 2014 but has not been adopted. No one wants to use decentralized exchanges at this moment in time.. so is buying some now a good idea? Maybe so long as the price is stable at this range.. but I don't think tha's the case. Another BTC bull run or bad news will make this drop even further. I think I will just wait and see what happens with bts.. this is not the bottom.
Decentralized exchanges are the next logical step in the future of decentralized cryptocurrencies (and even beyond currencies, assets, contracts, etc). Bitshares has been around for a long time, and has been perfecting their product long before the newcomers have even released Beta versions. Buy now while others are still trying to figure it out, or buy later after the train has already left the station.

Does electroneum already have an iOS/android app developed that is capable of mining? Mobile crypto is definitely the next logical step for this ecosystem, so hopefully these guys can pull it off.

Are there any other copycat blockchain based companies doing this? Lately it seems as soon as some good idea comes along 3 more similar ones pop up.

Any info about AVT on other exchanges? Im surprised we haven't seen it on Cryptopia or Liqui yet

Aventus is a very interesting project, they want to kill all the bots that are buying event tickets in seconds to resell the for the a higher price! Theyre going to build a ticketeting-system on a blockchain. Its trading below ICO price now and its a cheap opportunity right now! You should have a look at it. I am already in, I bought my bag and I added it to my long term portfolio!
I agree with you on AVT. I don't own it yet, but plan on it very soon. The entire ticketing industry is ripe for adoption to the blockchain. Thinking beyond sports and concert tickets to things like airline ticketing. Huge potential.

Any truth (or more substantial info) to the rumors that Dash will be trading on Coinbase 1Q 2018?

I do not know how to apply it but the idea of seeing what solid traders do and earning by buying what they do is really good.
I made a lot of mistakes by following the bullshit guys on twitter. I've lost in every trading. I hope the IFT works right and adds value to their value.
I completely agree. Twitter is filled with idiots shilling their bags, and the occasional good poster who has real actionable info. I keep thinking of stock trading and the seekingalpha.com site in relation to what investfeed can be. Filter out the bullshit and have good quality content and people will flock to it.

Interesting topic. Hope it stays updated tho. Seems like the last event has already passed. How did you guys fare? I will be using this thread constantly if it gets updated because I completely agree with this guy: The simple strategy "buy the rumours, sell the news" has worked great for majority of altcoins so far. I am buying as soon as a rumour hits twitter/reddit/slack and hold until the event is over, often selling hours after the sharpest rally.
Gradually, altcoins will probably tend to show similar behaviour that we see in stock market. Rumours would be swallowed by highly efficient markets and you would be uncertain about direction after news appearence.
Buy the rumors, sell the news. Profit. I did well with the SYS wallet release and GRS dev update. Both jumped considerably before the actual release, but then died afterwards. Buy the rumor, sell the news is definitely the way to go from what I have seen so far.

I really am interested in these real estate coins. I think this is a great concept, but you've got to get the Realtor Lobby groups onboard if you want this to go anywhere.

Its bad in my opinion, but seems like more and more are doing it. PCO just creates another layer of buyers who get in before you do and at a lower price.

I stay away from borrowing or margin, thats the easiest way to turn a little dip into a bloodbath. When I run out of money I take a long look at my positions and re-evaluate. If they are all still valid and I believe in them, then I delete Blockfolio from my phone and walk away from the computer for a few days

Bitcoin didnt crash after Dimon statment and JP is not buying btc however wall street traders make huge money on crypto market after houres
Exactly, these traders are the types who will jump into crypto and make millions developing sophisticated trading algorithms and bots.

This is an incredibly poor idea. It will turn into Lord of the Flies in seconds.
Id rather see tax advantages for BTC in developed countries like the recent proposal for transactions under $600 to be tax free.
