481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions fees so high on: January 10, 2018, 03:49:36 PM
Bitcoin transaction fees have increased in recent weeks, with a general transaction cost of up to $ 20 (£ 15).

Because of the combination of increased transaction numbers and limited transaction versions, the bidoin network can process per second.
Increasingly high bitcoin prices and increasing volume of transactions are the reasons for the rise in fees. If you want your transaction to be processed quickly you need to pay a high fee.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: January 09, 2018, 02:28:35 PM
I always remembered Bitcoin a few years ago and it was really a blessing. There are many people like me who always thank Bitcoin for what it has given us as luck, life, success.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitcoin react to a global financial crisis? on: January 09, 2018, 02:25:29 PM
It has been 10 years since the 2008 financial crisis and there are a number of financial experts out there predicting doom and gloom to hit the financial world this year. To be fair, every new year brings new crazy predictions, so, although I am not reading too much into it, It did get me thinking - how would bitcoin hold up during a financial crisis.

We know gold is able to withstand a crisis, but with the price of gold very much being controlled nowadays, it might not be a good idea to use them as a comparison.

Interested to know peoples thoughts on the matter, what do you think would happen to bitcoin during a financial crisis?

Bitcoin has moved and continues to move fast in economic crises. It completely changed the way people view it. A few years ago everyone thought it was just ponzi and now they look at it like a god.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: January 09, 2018, 02:20:47 PM
At the moment I prefer Bitcoin, but I am looking for an alternative. Can anyone suggest me some alternative cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin ?!
P.S: I'm so sorry if I post this in the wrong board but I don't know what is right board for this question. If I post this in the wrong board, please move it to the right one, thank you.
I also do not like bitcoin because its price is too high and the development is big and there is no stability. Prices are always whale-driven we can not do anything just accept this.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: January 09, 2018, 02:12:10 PM
I heard Robert Kyosaki is talking about the crashed of FIAT CURRENCY? when this thing will happen? how are we going to respond?
If this happens it will be a global crisis. When FIAT is destroyed and countries around the world face major crises, the billionaires will become poor. The money we own will be rubbish.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD - But the Alt-s are SKY-ROCKETING to the Moon! on: January 08, 2018, 09:32:54 AM
Since New Year a funny thing has happened well for that matter since Goldman-Sachs came out with their derivative futures for BITCOIN, it has gone no where but trading in a very tight window,

On the other hand the alt's, especially equihash like HUSH, .. are up 5X

Hell even the SHIT-COIN either etherum with +70% pre-mined ( almost 4million of  the 4.8 million in circ were pre-mined ), even that dog is up 2X for NY

It's obvious that all cash is now flowing to alt's the NEW MONEY ain't buying BITCOIN.

Z-Classic is up like 20X in a few weeks, what is up with that? There are dozens of same-same shit as this z-coin

Lot's of plays here, our own BITCOIN-Z which is much better than bitcoin-gold and is just waiting to rocket to the moon, when discovered.
Beginning a period of strong growth of the Altcoin, when there are many altcoin are going to go to the moon, too many Altcoin began to end. Bitcoin does not continue to rise so high is the chance for too much Altcoin wants to raise prices.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin hit $20,000 on: January 08, 2018, 09:30:48 AM
Just wondering when you guys think Bitcoin will hit $20,000 again?
I do not think Bitcoin can reach $ 20,000 in a short time. It will continue to hit $ 20,000 again but it may take a few months to do this, when the Bitcoin value can not reach $ 19,000.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum ? on: January 08, 2018, 09:23:29 AM
Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum?
Of course Bitcoin is more important than ETH because it is more invested and invested by investors than ETH. Looking at market capitalization, we see that XRP has more investors than ETH.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: January 01, 2018, 07:36:45 AM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.
Do you always think that bitcoin must be accepted as a form of payment in the world like paper money? Do you think if bitcoin is accepted then the cost per transaction can be higher than the amount you pay for the item you buy?
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: January 01, 2018, 07:34:07 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin and altcoin increase this is true because many countries are beginning to see such things as they have decided to introduce laws banning bitcoin and altcoin to limit corruption in their countries.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: January 01, 2018, 07:31:31 AM
Hi guys, I just want to know your views and opinion about the difference in Electronic Money (Bitcoin and others) and the Physical Money. Many people now a days are still confuse about the existence of the Bitcoin and how it differ from our Physical Money that we are using to buy necessity. I hope we could share and learn from each other.  Wink Smiley
There are many people who are interested in electronic money right now as the crypto industry grows as more and more people know and invest in cryto. This makes the paper money more and lose its value and can turn take in the future.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: January 01, 2018, 07:25:56 AM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.
I participated in your survey and completed it. It seems like you are prefer ethereum than bitcoin, but the survey you put out is aimed at directing other people towards paying attention to ethereum, so I do not favor your survey.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year's macro effects on Bitcoin on: January 01, 2018, 07:11:36 AM
Bitcoin will touch the sky this new year.Looking upon the rise in late december there will be a tremendous increase in price no doubt..
Bitcoin starts to increase but it just moves step by step, but I have the idea that bitcoin can come down again after it's gone a few more days so I think we can buy bitcoin right now and sell it in a few days.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is coming on: December 30, 2017, 03:52:14 PM
What do you think to the bitcoin prices in 2018? It will continue increasing up or continue declining down?

If increasing up, what value do you expect? Same if it is declining down?
I think Bitcoin will drop and continue to fall, Bitcoin Cash can replace Bitcoin in the coming year or in the near future but this is what I think. But Bitcoin may be back now.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and ethereum has good reputation.... But is there any other coin? on: December 30, 2017, 03:50:11 PM
As we known bitcoin and ethereum has a good and positive reputation,  but is there any other coins whose has goodwill as well as good market condition???
Bitcoin and ethereum are the two most common altcoins and all trader knows as well as most popular. There is no altcoin more popular nowadays, but BitcoinCash is the third altcoin here.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back again to 10k or even below 10k on: December 30, 2017, 03:45:55 PM
with south korea's move and bitcoin's overall downtrend do you think it an go further below 10k?
With the current downward move I can tell you that it will certainly reach $ 10K even down under $ 10k in the new year. This would be something that would make those who own bitcoin sad.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's persistence is its price tolerance on: December 30, 2017, 03:44:08 PM
Do you agree or not?
Why do you think so? Unstable bitcoin prices depend on those who own bitcoin in large quantities. These people strongly influence the price of bitcoin so bitcoin is that is that it is popular.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years? on: December 28, 2017, 05:46:58 AM
So 2017 proved to be the best for the bitcoin till now but still the great Officials of many companies are busy in predicting the greater roadmap of btc in 2018 and so on so will it be possible for bitcoin to go more and more high ?
Bitcoin has made us profitable madly in 2017 so I do not think it could increase further in 2018. I'm having more ideas with BitcoinCash or BitcoinGold going to increase next year.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is scam, Blockchain.info wallet are rippers and scammers. on: December 28, 2017, 05:38:39 AM
Bitcoin is scam, Blockchain.info wallet are rippers and scammers.

I've been using bitcoin since 2011.

2 weeks ago i send 400$, pay normal fee which blockchain ask for, said 1hr confirmation time. It is now 2 weeks later, bitcoin only worth 260$ out of 400 sent, 0 confirmations. Christmas already pass, all my plans ruined.

180000k unconf since 2 weeks, never looking to improve. All the people who paid below 110sat/byte getting ripped off and without any access to their money for months.

Blockchain.info won't acknowledge problem, when it is their wallet that ask for that stupid fee and claim to get confirmed in 1hour, 1 hour is not 2 week co*k suc kers!!!!!!!!!! Blockchain.info won't refund my money, won't cancel the transaction or make it expire so I can send with a higher fee.

All i can do is watch money trapped while bitcoin price going to shit each day, if i had send a big ammount like 20k, i would've lost 10000 USD over these last 2 weeks. Sent at 18700, no conf till 14.2.

So for a meager 0.019 garbage i lose more then one hundred dollars, LMFAO.

bitcoin is a scam network and blockchain.info are rippers, scammers and thiefs who have no fcking clue on how to operate a wallet containing other people's money.

And I expect this thread to be deleted since all of ya are in cahoots praising this piece of shit of a currency and getting others to invest in your POS so that you can get out on a massive profit.

Bitcoin scam, bitcoin ripoff, bitcoin rippers, blockchain scammers, blockchain thiefs, blockchain ripper POS.
You may be upset by having to wait for your bitcoin in blockchain trading blocks. This often happens because the transaction costs are so low that your transaction is not being processed.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: December 28, 2017, 05:34:53 AM
I just got this question in my mind. What will happen if no one knows about the pasword of his/her acount will it posibly deduct to the main supply of bitcoin? Example bitcoin was 21million supply and one man got 1 million bitcoin he was holding and suddenly he died no one can open his wallet is it posible that the remaining 20 million bitcoin forever?
I think this will happen if they use cold wallets. But if they use the wallet platform like coinbase, xapo, ... then I think bitcoin is still circulated in the market if the owner die.
