483  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fuck on: September 28, 2012, 05:26:04 PM
Except for the two big strong men with the baseball bats who already where looking for him, as was reported earlier.
But that doesn't explain why he's gone again because if the batmen found him he would not put up a comedy on tis forum but either would have payed or not.

The guy is scum, he was clearly a scammer and essentially admitted doing it.

How is the progress with this scammer?

488  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bought 4 Graphics Cards from BTC guy, no response after a week on: September 21, 2012, 03:39:46 PM
I offered him an ultimatum for Saturday. I don't think we can believe this attorney stuff. If he fails to make it, I will post everything I have on him.

I dont beliewve that attorney stuff eather. If he would continue to pay atleast some small amounts of BTC, i could be more patient, but he cant even post some plan how he imagines to pay us back.
489  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fuck on: September 19, 2012, 04:21:36 PM
So, he can afford an attorney at hundreds of dollars per conversation, but he can't afford to pay his obligations or ship the items he has already sold?

Fascinating.

He answered me this before:

Quote
im gonna ship tgjj cards and send aznjack coins.

Could Tgjj can confirm that btc_guy shipped him his cards? Aznjack has received some ccoins as i know.
490  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fuck on: September 19, 2012, 07:34:10 AM
This is what he wrote me yesterday:

my attorney is advising me not to make partial payments or refund with coins. i need to build up enough cash and pay everybody back at once with a certified bank check.
491  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: fuck on: September 17, 2012, 04:07:30 PM

494  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 3x 5870 avg ~1050MH/s normal? on: September 16, 2012, 07:56:05 PM
How much do you pay for electricity?

I thought so for a wile too, but when i actualy calculated, it appeared that even with one card in system (HD7970) all system drawing 360W, i am good to overclock as far as i can, if market priceis bigger thant 8$ and my electricity costs ~ 0.27 cents per watt. So calculate that correctly, i am sure, that for today price it is reasonable for you to push from those cards every juice they have Smiley
495  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 3x 5870 avg ~1050MH/s normal? on: September 16, 2012, 06:30:27 PM
Idont know if thats normal, pretty low scores actualy.

I got 2 HD 5870, both 980/300, catalyst 11.11c, got 450 MH/s per card, total speed ~ 900Mh/s.
So beter clock those babies, there is no reason to downclock them at current BTC price.

I am noticing almost a perfect match on the pool and what the miners actually do. I have also noticed that I am waiting for work a lot less, and submitting more shares per hour. (Yea I calculate that rather than go on MHash/s numbers.)  Keep up the good work.  Also big thanks to Slush for stratum and all his hard work!!!

Agree to this. But have one problkem. Time from time it stops wotrking, without stratum i had not htat problem. It jut writes that work is not provided fast enaugh and cant switch to backup pool. Any ideas? using 2.7.5 miner

Is the proxy running on the same machine you're mining with?  What type of CPU do you have?  You should not see 'work is not provided fast enough' with the proxy unless the server is being restarted.

Proxy i running on another machine, where is mining another two cards with no problems at all, got problems only on this machine. CPU-2500K, what was the last time proxy was restarted? Last time it hang was ~ 7,5 hours ago.

That's roughly when the last restarts happened.  Let me know if you have any more of the 'not providing work fast enough' errors, I won't be doing any restarts for at least another 12 hours.

ok, will let you know if it happens again.

BTC Guild - Stratum Pool Beta
The Stratum based pool for BTC Guild is now open for testing.  During testing, PPS rates will be paid at 100% (0 fee).  Payouts will be run on Wednesday and Sunday of each week during testing.  A "payout" from the Stratum beta will be moving your unpaid Stratum balance to your main account balance for withdrawal/automatic payout.

You can find full details on how to connect and downloads for the stratum-mining-proxy at https://www.btcguild.com/stratum_beta.php (or click the link at the top of the page).

Please report any bugs/crashes you may find.  When updating your miner settings to connect to your local stratum proxy, don't forget to include backup servers.  This is beta, so there will probably be a few brief restarts in the first few days.

Can you please help to set it up?

I have downloaded stratum-proxy folder and executed bat file. But i cant see there any different ip than -o 198.154.98.196 -p 9332
Do i need to write in place of this http://mine2.btcguild.com:8332 something like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -p 9332, there is no need of username too? But i cant see where i have to read that proxy ip adress Sad

Just run the batch file that was included. Then on your current mining software change the URL to the IP address of the system running the proxy. Keep everything else the same. (port/account name/passwords/etc)

So i need to point miner to my actual system ip?
If that is where the proxy is running, yes. If you have more mining rigs, point them to that IP as well.

Thanks, this is working nice  Wink  Will report if there any bug, problem with it, and how it goes.
