481  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: February 10, 2016, 12:31:43 AM
Like a Phoenix from the ashes
oh i definitely think bitcoin is going to go back up in price anytime soon. the reason i say that is cuz the halfing is coming this year, so people will prolly start buying more bitcoin around when that happens.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need advice on best Bitcoin wallet to replace Coinbase on: February 09, 2016, 11:32:29 PM
1) use android bitcoin wallet.
2) generate new adress every week
3) generate QR-Code : http://www.qr-code-generator.com/

simple.

no neek 3rd party.

no need virtual wallet or enterprise.

thats a safe way to receive the donations i guess, but it doesnt solve the users bank transfer problem. he wants a bitcoin processor that can send the money to his bank.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or escrow on: February 09, 2016, 11:29:39 PM
Few weeks ago i made a topic called PayPal or Bitcoin. Now i am asking you which one do you think is more convenient in general. Bitcoin OR escrow.  Smiley Smiley Smiley
Thats a messed up question lol, a good answer would be "why not both?"  Wink
484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: February 08, 2016, 01:05:24 AM
Is there some way to earn Bitcoins quickly?

Mining seems to be too far ahead of me, and faucets give out very little.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
"earning" bitcoin isnt that hard, just take what you earn from your normal job and convert that cash into bitcoin.

if you try any other things to get bitcoin, i can guarantee you that itll be really slow and tedious.
485  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 08, 2016, 01:04:12 AM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin base projects? If so, can you contribute what do you do?
the amount of people earning a living working with bitcoin is fairly low, im guessing that only the people that work for companies like bitpay, coinbase and all the online wallet or exchange companies really earn a living with bitcoin.
486  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: February 01, 2016, 11:30:51 AM
im pretty sure almost everyone on the forum believes in bitcoin.if they didnt, what would they be doing on this forum lol.

as for myself, i think bitcoin has great potential, which is why im holding on to it. until it skyrockets.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? on: February 01, 2016, 03:20:14 AM

488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is hyping about bitcoin price in 2016 on: February 01, 2016, 03:18:43 AM
This concerns me about what will happen to bitcoin price after 2016 ? Will it crash after the block halving ? Is there any upcoming incident in 2017-18 that may push the price up again ?
i dont understand why it would crash after the halfing lol. after halfing it would be the same bitcoin as before but with a reduced supply. if nything should happen to bitcoin it would be that the price would increase cuz the supply went down
489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: February 01, 2016, 03:15:35 AM

490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet? on: February 01, 2016, 03:14:00 AM
Bitcoin Core is the way to go.
i suggest bitcoin core also but it really depends on what platform you are on. if youre on a mobile phone, android has mycelium and iphone has coinbase/breadwallet/bither. i really like the features of bither and the layout of coinbase.
491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best strategy to find Bitcoin address in posts? on: February 01, 2016, 03:11:59 AM
What is the best strategy to find a bitcoin address out of thousands of Bitcointalk.org posts?

Background: I want to make a deal with a user and I want him to sign a message before. He has 1000+ posts and I need to find a posted address older than 3 months.

Any suggestions?

http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info

That link could be useful, enter the account's UID and you will see all the bitcoin address he posted and the date
hmm i didnt know about this feature lol, i usually just go through pages of the users post trying to find the address.
thisll come in handy next time Cheesy
492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I earn interest on BTC? on: February 01, 2016, 03:10:25 AM
Hi I have been trying to find good sites for decent Return On Investment
I have used https://btcsprout.com and it's paying my deposits though I want something more

I want to grow my bitcoins with interest sites. BTCSprout is great but I want more than one of this type of site

How do you earn interest on BTC?
i heard about this site magnr.com i think, and they offer a really low interest on your btc that you hold with them. they act like a bank. i only stored bitcoin there for about a week or so.They have been up for so long someone would have pointed them out as a scam if they did indeed scam.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like bitcoin on: February 01, 2016, 03:08:24 AM
In 5 years after it gains more popularity, btc will be more part of my life... Grin
i really wonder how bitcoin will be in 5years, bitcoin came to exist about 7 years ago and it has went through so much. price increased with such a great magnitude. i really look forward to the new bitcoin in the future.
494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 700 confirmations but transaction not confirmed?!? on: February 01, 2016, 03:05:58 AM
Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could please help. I am new to bitcoins and bought my first Bitcoin a week ago in order to buy something online

I sent payment to the seller just over a week ago for just over half a bit coin (use block chain wallet). My fee was very small .0000003 or something - at the time I didn't know the importance of this.

Now a week later it says 702 confirmations but transaction not confirmed?! I thought you only need 6 confirmations? What's going on here

Cheers
the amount of confirmations the transaction needs to be confirmed varies from seller to seller. usually people choose 6 confirmations as a good number. you need to contact your seller for help
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I "Think" that I found Satoshi Nakamoto on: February 01, 2016, 03:04:10 AM
yet another thread of claims. Only time we going to find satoshi is when he steps up and admits that he is the real satoshi and that is not gonna happen. Would be nice to know who satoshi is and what his future plans are but no one knows.
totally agree, if satoshi wanted us to find him, we would havefound him by now. only reason we havent yet is because he isnt going to let that happen.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: February 01, 2016, 03:03:01 AM
I agree. It is not so good to spend our bitcoins these early times, when the bitcoin story is just starting and the future seems so promising, then we should try to keep them as long as possible.
keeping bitcoins helps in keeping them at a stable value because it decreases the supply of coins in the market. but it doesnt help the bitcoin network, it decreases adoption.
497  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dodadoo - Win Bitcoin while playing dices on: February 01, 2016, 03:01:44 AM
hmm seems like an average dicing site. things i would recommend however would be adding a faucet so new comers to the site can see it in action without putting in their own money.also a auto bet feature would be good for the people u have already attracted.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 01, 2016, 02:59:59 AM
if we think about it, isnt everyone just holding their bitcoin for a price increase?. only exception i see is that if the person uses bitcoin for daily transactions. other than that everyone else uses it as an investment and are hoping for a price increase.
499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: February 01, 2016, 01:11:11 AM
lol thers no way bitcoin is gonna hit 1250s within a month, thats just insane. bitcoin has been 200-450 for the past year or so, so it quadrupling in value within a month.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: February 01, 2016, 01:06:11 AM
As you see, the Bitcoin is crashing and trying to break a new low until it stop.
But I won't sell any Bitcoin at this time, I believe it will rise again as it always do. Smiley
hmm i agree its not gonna go any lower, but if i were in your position id sell when the coin hits around the 400 marks.

i feel like its gonna cap at 400 for a while now, atleast until the halfing is near and people stat buying more .
