Some, including me, are experimenting big bugs (funds disappear) with Bitshares X. Bitshares is one year old....
On the contrary I didn't have any trouble to buy StorJx in seconds. It is a fact that XCP has been very stable for months.
Anyway, Parker928 is the voice of 99% of the people which are not investing in XCP. Don't blame it !!!!
We all know that XCP can or will be worth 100 M$, then 1B$ as soon as and only if XCP is totally user-friendly, like almost everybody is requesting since beginning. It can be a matter of days with just a will. Perhaps a common list of 10 dumbest point that prevent people to use it confortably ? Are devs really aware of theses problems ? I don't see any amelioration coming in the current road-map, full of minor bugs and coding things I am not skilled enough to understand.
A product is never finished anyway, and investors won't wait "ad vitam eternam". Look how DRK is loosing its leadership in the anonymous race with extra-long developments and geeky features, like mixing rounds that only make people wonder how anonymous it is, and spreads doubt and uncertainty when using it.
The market is sincerely waiting for a simpler counterparty or else a more friendly clone will be created in no time.
I am sure that dogeparty or even clearinghouse won't do any coding but will have a perfect tool for dummies, and consequently for masses and then businesses !

Hi everybody, I reinstalled the wallet and it doesn't sync  (I saved the wallet by the way) I tried to copy the conf file in the OP, but it changes nothing. What did I do wrong ? It worked before reinstall. |

I can't read the people finding excuses like "no fresh money", "no whale", "dumb crypto-community"
Look at the past sell orders : it was multiple of 1000 !
If you want a 100-300 M$, just stop selling during 1 month. It is not the rare sells with 50 Drk that will lead the price down...
The competitors are far behind. Ltc, Doge or even Nxt are in trouble ! What are you waiting for ?
People need and search for "same thing like BTC but private". Fundamentals are here. We do not need geekeries, we need to figure out how many rounds we should use (catastrophic option leading to uncertainty and doubt : "Did I well or enough rounds", "Is my coins anonymyzed ?")
Pool Police ?! What we really need is a TOP 100 Police or dark soldiers who list who amongst rich list is selling or trying to day-trade !!

I think that rather than disabling Darksend by default, upon the first start up of a wallet, it should prompt you to choose whether you want Darksend enabled. Also, if there are going to be fees, the wallet should be able to give an estimate for your balance. Furthermore, asking a user how many rounds they want is too confusing for most people. Better to have preset values that correspond to a simple description. 2 rounds - anonymous, 4 Rounds - increased anonymity, 8 rounds - maximum anonymity.
Agree and I think DRKLord will take that into the wallets design. But technically its up and running and that is a hell of an achievement! Something more clear like : 1 round - normal people 2 rounds - dealers 4 rounds - African dictators 8 rounds - FIFA or Olympic comitees members Sorry, I really couldn't resist |
