Add/Delete something? My Riecoin address if anyone wants to give me a tip: RRfX7TMuU9sYTJEG2RJEjEn4Z1vK3agkJM

I don't think its a good idea to go for small exchanges. We already have 2 or 3. Mintpal, Poloniex, and soontobe Austin Global Ex. Lets concentrate on vendors accepting Riecoin as payment since it is after all a currency, not a stock, so more merchants = more value to Riecoin. We should only focus on dominating 3 exchanges, Cryptsy (for U.S), Vircurex or Btc-e(unlikely since they never add anything) for Europe, and Bter for China.

I have already posted headers with log files. If u want screen shot of those I LL do in short time as in travelling
If you are not a scammer, then I apologize for my earlier comment about you deserving to be castrated (I don't know what to believe so I will still put you as a possibility as a scammer). But I will rephrase that. The scammer deserves to be castrated for his sins he committed against the crypto community.

The Botnet continues dumping more and more coins, bringing the price further down if this continue it will keep going down which is unfortunate for an interesting coin like this. Yea... I am trying to hold off the botnets with my measly 1000 RIE buy order. Just bought 1000 more to raise the price a little too. Your strategy seems effective, the price went up 30%. This shows how low trading volume is on this coin. Yea... I don't mind buying more Riecoin at this low price, depending how everything goes. If the market cap drops below 90th place at coinmarkcap (simulation-wise), I will be buying bucketload more because there is no way Riecoin is worth less than pandacoin or potcoin or dopecoin......

I believe the three exchanges we should concentrate to ask for should be Bter.com, Cryptsy, and Vircurex. Bter for China, Cryptsy for US, and Vircurex for Europe.

Riecoin's market cap right now is 144,644.8236 which puts it in 83rd place on coinmarketcap.com. I am going to buy bucketloads now.

Hey Dev,
Can you contact Gliss to post Riecoin on coinmarketcap.com?

Is this coin dead?
too difficult to mine
too low the price
As price goes down, miner stop mining the coin, which makes it easier to mine for others. So at some point it reaches an equilibrium. I wish the developer was a bit more active, but understand is probably A LOT of work to get things off the ground. Out of all the cryptos I've invested in, this is the one that I've got most wrong. It's a great idea, but it seems like some entity (botnet / GPU miner) is constantly dumping the price lower. I hope they move on soon. This chart is not pretty viewing: At some point the price/work will reach equilibrium. Still I think the developer could improve the code so that it requires a lot more memory, which will make things a lot more difficult for Botnets, as the infected users will notice the slowdown and find the botnet software. Thus prompting the botnet to move to a new coin. You know what I say to this low price? Buy more! That is exactly what I am going to do when I can today. And that is a very good point. Dev, can you consider implementing this?

MtGox isn't gone, and they're more than likely coming back. Everyone who thinks they're just going to up and leave needs to reassess the situation.
I agree. But with their answers to just packing up without a response and shutting down their site, it is better for them and the entire bitcoin community to leave and not come back. And I apologize for the asshole question and it isn't (just want to know your thoughts) but what proof do you have that they will come back? Empty offices, no reply to calls/emails, no answers at Mark's home, no website.

I say good riddance to MtGox. My condolences go out to those who lost their money and I do feel sorry for them. However, MtGox has been a blotch in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies altogether. Sure, they might have been the biggest bitcoin exchange in the world, but because they let fame get to their head and violated their customers, they are now (in my opinion) nothing but scam artists. Good riddance to them. They've gained too much power over control of Bitcoin price. Bad news on MtGox = price go down. Good news = price goes up or remain stable. We can't let one exchange have semi-power over bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies if we are to actually believe in a decentralized economy. Good riddance to Bitcoin's Mt.Gox. Prices are down, sure. So? It was like 20$ at this time last year. Don't let one rotten apple ruin the whole basket.
And the media.....they are really something aren't they. Focus only on the bad news. They care either only for the exponential increase in prices or the bad of cryptos (specifically bitcoin). Silk Road, Silk Road 2, Mt.Gox's dissapearance, etc. They never focus on the good news like yesterday when a bank-like company called Neobee opened up in Cyprus. It is the first of its kind in Cyprus and I think the world that offers these services. But barely any news on them. None on major sites like Yahoo! but rather on Bitcoin-related news websites. Makes me think the media giants wants to make people think Bitcoin and cryptos are for drug dealers (because when I look on the comment sections on Bitcoin-related articles, first/second comment is "well because Silk Road got shut down..no real use for it".
That is my opinion and nothing more. Take it for what it is.
