Nothing wrong. You're trying to sign up from an ip that has previously been used by someone who was banned or a known proxy. Are you using a proxy, tor, or a public connection?
That laptop is just used for making reports and it is always not connected in the internet. And also when I made an account from him, I used this phone Im using right now. Still that is the result, my IP is not banned, as you can see, I can post here without problem. He is not using any VPN. Just a normal IP.

Probably carrier grade NAT, which means you share a public IP address with a large number of other users. Some of them misbehaved and got banned, thus its more difficult to get a new account from this IP and the ISPs network.

You should see a proxy ban page which tells you to pay small amount of bitcoin in order to lift it.
482  Other / Meta / Re: What will get a user banned? on: March 03, 2017, 07:42:36 PM
Hi there.

I was wondering how far a user needs to go to get banned on this forum.

I've found a guy who is spamming/multithreading his threads over multiple boards with multiple accounts, without any oppugnance.

Anyone can have as many accounts as they wish, as long as it does not get you in conflict with other rules. E.g. talking to yourself would be considered spam, same as having multiple very similar or identical sales threads.

The worst part is that he is mostly advertising scams, ponzis where it is clear he will shut the door whenever he gets one decent investor, and so called "Gambling script that uses a bug in bitsler to get you infinite amounts of money"

Scams are not handled by moderation but by the community. If you think the user in question is scamming, open a thread in the scam accusation section.

I really wonder what the limit is, and if this is something that should be allowed, as i can't see any official thread of the rules of this forum, with a quick google search i found this one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0, although it looks highly outdated to me. If there is any newer thread, please let me know.

Which was last edited less than a month ago, not sure why you think its outdated.

Dear user.

You were blocked by EdinarCoin request.
They asked us to send YOUR money to THEM because of your fraud.
But we needed evidence. They didn't get us any evidence of your fraud.
We break off all relations with EdinarCoin due to fraud and scam of users.
Your account is unlocked now, withdrawals enabled.

Some info about Edinar: https://github.com/EDINARCOIN-Affected/edinarcoin-return-all-the-money

Be careful

Good to hear, is this still case by case or should all Edinar locks be resolved now?
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Node CPU Spikes on: March 01, 2017, 07:57:06 AM
You're on linux so bring up 'top' while it's happening, press H to enable thread mode, and see what thread(s) is/are consuming CPU at the time. The bitcoin daemon has lots of threads that are named so you may be able to track which particular thread is consuming CPU and hence figure out what it's doing.

Right, okay. I can give that a shot. So nobody else has experienced similar CPU spikes?

Yeah, not that long though. Turned out my node was connected to a service that was pushing several thousand transactions to it every X minutes. If you have a network spike (from a few kbit/s to several mbit/s) at the same times that might be it.

Great reply Shorena, thank you.  I will PM you later with the transaction ID, or is it the raw data you would need after i do a getrawtransaction ?  Although i am starting to think that it would never be confirmed  anyway as the fee is really low, so i might just stop it.

TX ID should be fine, it currently sees ~65k unconfirmed TXs yours should be among them. I could also rebroadcast the replacement whichever you prefer (Id probably need the raw TX in this case though).
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: All about "stuck" transactions and what you can do to fix them on: February 28, 2017, 08:32:13 PM
If you restore from seed unconfirmed transactions are removed IIRC. Thus you can restore from on a temp wallet, create a double spend and continue.
I asked someone to try this and it did not work for them.

Alright, Ill need to get this out of my head then. Thanks

I personally think the opt-in RBF option by electrum is an improvement over this as you can replace a transaction you have created a few minutes ago, while your way would suffer from nodes blocking propagation.
Opt-in RBF is indeed a great feature. Unfortunately it is not used by most people so it is not really applicable here as most transactions will not enable RBF.

Yeah, Im working on a similar thread to this for the german section and I put it in the "preparations" section because of this.

488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: All about "stuck" transactions and what you can do to fix them on: February 28, 2017, 08:26:41 PM
Wallets that do not allow you to or ones that I don't know how to make RBF transactions
  • Electrum

Thank you very much for misleading unsuspecting users. Are you doing this on purpose?
No. It seems that I forgot to hit send for my reply to you in PM. What I am trying to do here is to explain how to do RBF spends without opting into RBF because very few people use Opt in RBF. All I could find on Electrum was how to do it with Opt in RBF, not any way to RBF without opting in. If you could provide instructions for how to do that, I would happily add it to the list.

Vielen Dank schon mal.

Guck mal hier -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1790510.0

-snip-
2. Du könntest in bestimmten Fällen eine zusätzliche Gebühr zahlen (Replace by Fee)

494  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: February 28, 2017, 08:42:46 AM
What is the hosting plan that you are using to run your website?
I use an Amazon EC2 t2.micro instance to host the site and do all of the calculations.

Is increasing the stats of the host will make things faster or that's totally up to the algorithm you are using?
Make what faster? The wait time for the stats to be generated? Unfortunately nothing can be done about that as that is actually dictated by bitcointalk. Bitcointalk restricts requests to 1 request per second, and because the site has to request all of a user's show posts pages, there are a lot of requests that need to be done, but only once per second. That is why there is a queue and a wait time, to keep under the rate limit.

Well IIRC the limit is per IP so you could spin up several servers and let them do the requests in a distributed maner. I doubt anyone would want to pay for that premium feature though.

Ok so i now have this transaction awaiting confirmation for 4 days or so,  if i was to zapwallet now and then send my full balance (with a great fee), would my core client allow the transaction

Yes.

and what would happen at other nodes who see this second transaction?

Depends, either the other node knows about your previous unconfirmed transaction (A) or not (B).

In case A, your new transaction would be refused by the node as invalid and not propagated further. In case B the node would accept the TX into its mempool (assume it does not violate any other rules) and propagte it to all other connected nodes.

Since the default setting for bitcoin core (and unlimited?) nodes is to forget about a transaction after 72 hours, I think you should try this. To further improve your chances to find nodes where case B applies you can rebroadcast the transaction periodically and/or post it raw[1] here so others can do the same for you. If you PM me I can let my node rebroadcast it.

[1] I think there is a GUI way to do this, but I am not sure atm. You can just open the dev console (via Help) and put getrawtransaction followed by your new transaction ID. What you get as return is what your client would normally broadcast on its own.
496  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: New Child Board Cryp Exchanges und Börsen on: February 28, 2017, 08:32:40 AM

497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fee is larger than transaction now. Bitcoin is broken? on: February 28, 2017, 08:24:04 AM

why don't you just sweep your private keys into a different wallet and try to resend?

Because the issue is unrelated to the wallet, thus sweeping will not work (as it creates a TX) and neither will importing (you will have the same problem). I think the only way to still use these coins is to spend them with larger inputs, according to my estimates it will still result in an overall loss of coins unless the network fee gets significantly lower (~half)[1!]. I played with the idea of buying OPs private keys and just doing it myself.[2]

as achow pointed out above, you must be having a glitch in your wallet software
afaik armory allows export of the private keys through -"Backup This Wallet" - option "Export Key Lists" (must have adveanced options on)

this will show you your addresses and corresponding private keys
then download Electrum or use any other wallet that supports private keys import
with Electrum you should paste your keys into  Sweep Private Keys box

and then try to send your transaction again,it should not cost over 0.001 bitcoins

500 inputs worth 0.0001 each currently cost more than 0.005 to spend. Cointape right now suggests 180 satoshi per byte for a timely confirmation. Each input weights 180 bytes and is worth 0.0001, thus the fee needed to spend each input is 3 times as high as the inputs value.

tl;dr: 180*180/10^8 > 0.0001

[1] apparently it increased since my last calculation, see below for the second part.
[2] @emsi feel free to contact me via PM about this.

kannst du mir kurz die regelungen zusammenfassen?
-snip-

I don't. I have PM'd them already regarding the other two users that are in similar situations. Let's see whether they will respond.

Lets hope they fix it as quick as last time without the need for negative ratings.
