Gold going to $400 was a better statistical play than bitcoin going to $7000 you fool this is what you dont seem to get.

With gold the risk of downside is very low, unless one buy it at the top of a peak in price. The best bet is to be invested in both gold and btc imho. I would not discard a doubling or trebling in gold price going forward. And at least some gold helps to sleep well.

I know the feeling bitcorn. I felt sick last week too. I had to stop looking at the price.

Even though my investment was fairly low, the profits are now high.

Maybe I should take out a large percentage of my profits? If I do that and it goes up 400% I am in the same boat. More sickness.

I think I'll do my original plan and hodl for more years. Hopefully this will pay off. I need to forget short term and think long term really.

If you feel too bad during dumps it's a sign that you're overinvested. Try to stay more diversified, both to contain risk and to have a chance to take advantage of major dumps. Having some fiat parked here and there is never bad. And you can both diversify and trade on vaultoro.com

I was thinking phone apps.

I would never keep more than a few hundreds $ in crypto on a smartphone. My favorite option is encrypted volumes and files on linux only.
Phones look like some security hazard walking.

Why are you trying to promote a system of which the end evolution can only be federated chains run by govt and corporations to enslave people since it's not possible to solve decentralization of open loop systems?

Idk wtf you're talking about, but tell me more about when the jews were out of business b/c gold & silver were money.

Nevermind the fact all crypto is designed to centralize, thus invalidating it's entire claimed fundamental value proposition.

You can't centralize money if you lack a money printer + taxation/extortion system.

Tell that to those big btc pools.

No need to.
They can't print for free; They can sell only once each coin; There are few barriers to competition.

I also think the same. We are starting a brutal bear market which will last 6 - 24 months.

It seems like the last ChinaFUD (of a BTC total ban + firewalling) might be exaggerated, and that's what caused this dump imho. In any case I doubt that it can be very effective.
If they try for real it will be a good test of btc "anti-censorshipness". Make your bets.

Ugh, what? If you were following the TA that was guided there, it would hit a new ATH well before the date you picked. You should have picked in October then... come on.

The lower end of that channel hits 5K even later. I'm just being a bit conservative.

Goodluck

I vote for 28/11 for the next ATH, because of this TA:

Most of my coins are anonymous. I haven't used an exchange since 2013.

As soon as I can sell my AltcoinCash anonymously OTC or through an ATM, I'll continue to hold them to protect the anonymity of my precious bitcoins.

Why being anon? You're in an hotbed of human rights (however they define them).

Profits are profits and I prefer to take my profits in Bitcoin.

and still you're hodling that altcash thing. True BTCers dumped that shit on day 1.
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 15, 2017, 05:06:12 PM
Yep! Some people expect to buy 10 bitcoin's & become rich within 6 months. It simply does not work like that.

If you cannot withstand the stress of being a millionaire one day and a piece of shit on the day after you better stay out of crypto.

20 000 Yen broken! Interesting to see what happens now...

on the daily we're sitting right on the 100-day EMA. Looks like a nice place for a bottom.

You seem to have either:
1) a fundamental misunderstanding of the (disclosed) details of how the face recog stuff works; or
2) insider knowledge which contradicts Apple's public statements.

Here's the insider knowledge:
