481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: December 26, 2023, 05:46:18 PM
I have noticed that there are multiple casinos in the crypto space owned by the same person or company. I am curious about the reasons behind creating additional casinos when there is already a running and profitable one.

How does this practice contribute to their business? It seems illogical as it might increase operating expenses without an obvious benefit.

Gamblers, any thoughts on this?

You didn't specify if it was an online casinos or physical casino.

This might be for some personal reasons, who knows if the owner of the club we assumed aren't the real owner in reality. I have seen companies put name to protect their interest from the government, some have hidden the real identity of the owner to avoid heavy task. If you see a person operating the similar business might not actually own one, maybe he is just the face while he owns one.

If it was a physical casino, it might be for expansion sake to reach out to other customers in another place that doesn't have access to their first casino and if it happens to be online casino, the. It might be for regulation sake. Just like the way we have Binance global and Binance US, it's owned by same people but different marketing outreach, that's what I think some casinos might be doing without telling people or perhaps you don't just have idea how they are run.

The legal battle over Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity and Bitcoin rights has taken another turn in recent days, with a British judge rescheduling the trial between Craig Wright and Bitcoin Core developers for Feb. 5.

Why is this person trying so hard to prove that he's Satoshi Nakamoto? If he was, he could simply login to this forum and make a post and clear it out.
What an idiot I would say. What's your thought on this?

This clown guy is trying so hard to be something he is not.
I'm not sure about the authenticity of this but I think there is a wallet they said Satoshi has that has bitcoin worth a million in it, why didn't Craig prove that to the court and sign a message from the private key or the court is too daft to aske for such evidence or they are enjoying his entertainment.

One thing is clear about this guy, he is trying to live a legacy he didn't build and this could be because he thinks Satoshi will not come public to deny that or trying to claim he is the rightful owner of bitcoin. If Craig is really the original developer of bitcoin, no way he is going to come public and open to people because there are people at the top that want to really have Satoshi under their custody and even the US has never for once invite Craig since he started this madness.

Craig is just attention seeking clown.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the transaction fee will high if I send small amount under $50 on: December 25, 2023, 12:32:27 PM
Will the transaction fee will high if I send small amount under $50
The bitcoin network and network congestion doesn't care whether your transaction amount is $10 or $100. Whenever the network is congested and the fees for transaction is $42, that is what you will pay for the transaction amount. The network congestion is one of the factors responsible for a high transaction fee. The two ways to minimize the transaction fees are to wait for the times when there will be lower network congestion or use another cryptocurrency.

The bitcoin transaction doesn't care about the amount in dollar but using another network isn't the immediate solution to get a transaction done faster.

There is a high chance that the OP might have less than $50 in his wallet and that's could be a sum of differents unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs) from different wallet addresses and if he try to spend those outputs, the network will request for high fees bigger than when you try to send the same amount in a single UTXO, this is to tell you that the more outsputs you have in your wallet, the more fees you might likely pay in sats to be able to spend them. This is why it's advisable to consolidate your outputs to a single address anytime the fees are lower.

Not only outputs might increase the transaction fees of bitcoin transaction, the wallet address is also part of it, a person sending bitcoin from a legacy address(address that start with 1) will consume more fees than an segwit address( address that start with bc1q or bc1p). The OP need to check these factors before determining how much the network will charge him if he want to spend bitcoin.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 25, 2023, 12:16:00 PM
Hello guys, I have heard many stories when person was playing casino games, for example person was playing slots and managed to win a huge jackpot, 100 thousand or up to a million but casino didn't give him his winning because they said slot had bugs and they can't give away money because person won through a buggy slots.

If they deny him of any winnin, the first thing I will do is to go and check their terms, policy and conditions. It's better to always go through this documentations before signing up though. If I see that they have nothing of such, I will drag them to the ground until they pay me my money but my mind is telling me a smart gambling company will have that included in their policy because a bug is likely to happen or might have even happen during Beta phase testing of the casino, so such is possible to give them hint to stay prepare.

Quote
I have never seen a case when casino called player for a refund because slot had bugs. What happens if you think that slot has bugs and that's why you lose? If we follow logic, since casino can deny your winning because they think that game has bugs, you should have right to ask for slots inspect if you lose a lot. Doesn't this make sense? I think it makes but I want to know if you had similar experience or if something similar has happened in history ever.

I have seen refund base on an even not happing or taken place but refund base on bug, I really have some uncertainty about that if a casino will do that or even tell his customer about such. I haven't seen any though or it's possible that it has happened and we didn't experience that but I'm just not sure if casino will be prepare to allow you go free like that without having your money.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of proper knowledge on casino games increases chance of loss and reduce fun on: December 25, 2023, 12:07:50 PM
I played Roulette on a casino three days ago and it was obviously my first-time playing Roulette, I literally didn't understand my way out and I just knew I should select a number and click on spin. I did that obediently and time after time, I lost. I was really motivating myself with the next spin, and next and next, but all to no avail, I was lost in the ride until I drained my deposit for the day's gambling, that time It dawned on me that my Ignorance has contributed to my parallel losses for the day, I just logged out and ended that day's session disappointed.

I wish there are more simple ways for casinos to give tutorials or better still a way they can provide a dummy features on their platform to allow people train on how to gamble the games they have as free mode without using any money or perhaps a virtual money just like we do have in trading but they are after ways for you to lose and I don't blame them though, they don't have time to tell you what to do but to guide you where to place money so you could 50/50 with your money. Sorry for your loss but try again next time. Grin

Quote
Yesterday, I was discussing with my friend on my experience, and it was more obvious that my Ignorance played a major role in my bitter experience days before. It was after I was whipped badly that I went back and saw the demo option which I should've used to learn before I engaged. Also, I wish to advise all new gamblers to visit demo space in the casinos where you can learn before you start playing with real money cos I think it will help people master the games before engaging to have more fun, because not only did I lose money that day, but honestly, I didn't have any fun.

Sorry but casinos don't don't have such time to provide a demo mode but maybe you should try this instead. I'm not sure for the IOS app store, Google store has plenty of games related to most of the gambling games like the dice, blackjack and many more, download them and test them to see if it's worth but just know that the outcomes might not be the same as that of the real.casinoa that involves money.

Quote
I would like to ask if some people here has experienced this too and what is the possibility that most people who experience repeated losses are Ignorant of the game play patterns.

I can't say for casino but I have experience multiple losses in a row and that did painful but I don't feel much, not like I'm betting with my last card, just small money and hope on the outcome, if it's comes fine and if doesn't, I take some break and try the next time.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 11:55:38 AM
Recently I was around a physical bet shop close to my area and I observed a man who was shabbily dressed walking in the gambling house. I got into the place to observe what his intentions were. He walked straight to the gaming attendant, placed his bets in a highly coordinated manner and quietly walked out of the physical gambling house. From the way he was well organized, you will never know that he was mentally unsound apart from his dirty clothes and unkept hair and beard.

When I inquired from the attendant, she said he was a regular customer and that he usually raised money for gambling through the manual jobs he does around the area. She also told me that he has never misbehaved and acted violently in the gambling house so she was comfortable with him.

My question now is are there any moral, ethical or legal obligation to bar a person from gambling after physically observing that he is mentally unstable?

I didn't see any where it was written on your comments that you comfirm if he was mentally unstable, the attendants only assume base on his dressing and it's really bad of you guys to assumed that a person is a mad person or mentally by the way they look and dress. You can see a person looking unhygienic and unkept and that's could be a s a result of the job they do, as you as said he does a manual job during the days and it might be one of the reason why he is looking like that in appearance.

If a mentally deranged and unstable person is gambling, it's his choice because I don't think he was force, wasn't told to come and gamble by force, if he wanted to buy something to eat, I think any person can sell it to him don't have to be questioned, the same apply to gambling and gambling is a service that can be render to any person who need one.

However, for the humanity sake. If I know that the person is mentally unstable, I will avoid giving rendering service to him because I'm not sure any person who isn't in his right senses will gamble an win, they can be lucky to win but the chance of winning will be small compared to a person that is mentally okay, even a person that is stable hardly win talk more of a person that is having sparks on their head.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 24, 2023, 08:18:23 PM
If we compare PSG and Real Sociedad, I think PSG still has a better chance than Real Sociedad of winning and qualifying for the quarter-finals. Even though it is true that Real Sociedad also won group D, leading over Inter and only goal difference is the difference, but that doesn't mean Real Sociedad is better than PSG.

I like how consistent PSG has been these season even though their form is not that good in the Champions League, the progressed to these stage by luck because if not for Milan lower goal difference, they would have been out of these discussions we are having but maybe the dynamics of their performance will yield something more warble than we had before.

From another angle, Real Sociedad have been sparkling in their domestic league the past few weeks and that made me think PSG need to be careful, some small teams in Ligue1 has humiliated PSG this season, it shouldn'tbe Real Sociedad that will remove them finally.

Quote
Because after all, playing in the knockout phase of the Champions League clearly has different pressure too, what's more PSG is a team that has good dominance in Ligue 1 . Also, basically Enrique is used to facing or against La Liga teams and with the experience Enrique has like that. So ya, of course Enrique really understands the right strategy for playing against Real Sociedad later and thus, of course PSG has a very good chance of beating Real Sociedad.

I'm having some doubts even as I want to believe Sociedad can pull some stunt on PSG, in group stage some teams might be unlucky to meet one of the strongest opponents. I don't know for Copenhagen and Galatasaray in the past but they gave in their best in the Champions League group B, one of the best I enjoyed I must say and PSG suffered a lot to come out good, perhaps things might change after this stage but at the same time, Sociedad is good in domestic league. Predicting this might be hard but double chance will certainly give a good money when they meet.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 24, 2023, 07:50:01 PM
I agree with you, management and club officials must reflect well, that firing Xavi is not a wise course. The club financial situation is a big problem, Xavi knows more about players than those who only enjoy the results from the stands. I think Xavi has become a great coach by winning the La Liga title last season, in the midst of the chaos of the crisis he was able to overcom] challenges and present trophies that not all coaches can do.

Under the condition of contracts that bind the club and the coach, they cannot just conclude and send him off. There are some conditions that need to be met to remain. For example, there are instances where they might say a manager need to have at least 1 Laliga and any other reputable trophy in a year to remain in the club or risk been evacuated and we have seen Xavi gas deliver that last season, I'm not sure if he fail to take this one will warrant his sent off from the club, he isn't the first Barcelona coach to under perform and was sack, even when Messi was here they lose trophies too to smaller teams.

Quote
It was reported that Xavi was having an argument with sporting director Deco, the media concluded that Barcelona defeat to Anwerp in the UCL group phase was one of the factors. I think this season is not finished yet, and Barcelona still has a chance in every competition they participate in, indeed Xavi has some homework that needs to be completed. On the other hand, management should think about ways to support Xavi so he can be active in the transfer window, rather than thinking about what trophies Xavi can present without giving him enough spending money.

I have learned something from the media, they are good at one thing which is fabricating lies and propaganda to get clicks and traffic, you know it's fake news that travel fast, if they repost a news that nothing of such happen, people will be bored but the moment they announce something like that, people will rush over there to get the gist of something that never happen.

We maybe a rival with Barcelona in every El classico but right now, they are my least worry in the Laliga right now, I'm only concern on how Girona is going with 42 total goal scores and a single lost sitting next to Real Madrid, I want to see then start declining but they don't want to give into that mistakes.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 24, 2023, 07:28:38 PM
Erik ten Hag's mistake was choosing the wrong players in the last transfer window, so it is no wonder that he has failed to improve the team's performance with his selected players this season. So yes, Erik ten Hag is certainly the first person to be blamed for the poor performance and bad results so far this season. Although perhaps, Manchester United still give Erik ten Hag a chance but still, if his demands to enter the top four, clearly become an impossible achievement.

I'm not sure if he was in tbe right state of mind or should I say he was having an optical illusion and made the wrong choice of players? How many did he bring to the club that are new that he uses all the time? If we want to blame his decision, we should not forget that De Gea was the main man fo Manchester United but we forgot quickly. I am yet to see any specialities in Onana move from Inter to Manchester United or perhaps they were scam for been the best Goal keeper in Champions League last season but I don't seem to see that now.

Quote
Because anyway, when Manchester United are still in sixth or seventh position, the reality is that fans remain dissatisfied. Therefore, it seems that the demands placed on Erik ten Hag are clearly a difficult task if they have to restore Manchester United back into at least the top five.

It's not about the fans satisfaction, it's about their form. When you are not in good shape, nothing you do comes out good, nothing you ever do that prosper and that is exactly what they are facing right now. I can't even differentiate between them and Chelsea but I know for certain that if Erik want to change or amend the teams, he doesn't need one or two replacements but complete flushing of the teams and look for another good deals else he risk losing Manchester United to another manager very soon.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 24, 2023, 07:00:57 PM
Rashford is one player that was actually doing well in previous seasons and he's had huge contributions and impacts to the United squad and he was practically fans favorite and a threat to teams too. But this season hasn't been quite good for him, his playing style changed and he's literally had the worst season. The fans are not encouraged by his performances and they've not been shy to express their disappointment and disgust at him. I don't know and can't tell the source of the problem but he's just got an extra work to do on himself.

He's a striker but has not played as a striker. Hojlund the second striker brought in to assist had quite had a more favourable play in the UCL than in the EPL but he's also got to improve. It just seems as though the entire team is in a black out situation right now and it isn't good, they don't seize to let down their fans lately and I feel sorry for every United fans this period, cause their club is in a mess.

Erik is surprised me a lot these days in there match. Scan through Manchester United matches of 2022/2023 season, that's the last season and you will see that in most of the Matches they win the most, the formation they played mostly was 4,2,3,1. He makes usfe that defensive midfielder is never enough without Casemiro but he is injure, the attacking midfielders Bruno Fernandes, Sancho and Anthony which is still the same but the performances has drop, their play making is now poor and they contributing less. The forward has always been Rashford but I don't understand why Erik has decided to put Rashford on hold when he doesn't have any good choice than him because Martial is unfit but he is blind to see that or should I say he is not impress by Rashford and was quick to bench him, why didn't he do same to Onana.

How can you suffer 8 losses and 9 win when you are not trying to get relegated. It's more surprising when Newcastle and Manchester United sit close to each other in the standing when it was both of them that were ruling the table as of last season, indeed always pray that the head shall not be the tail. If they continue to play with this form, they will have to fight their way out of the place they from relegation because it's seems that even the unserious teams are coming closer to where they sit.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 24, 2023, 06:46:17 PM
I have been wondering with a little doubt in me between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person prone to being addicted cause I have this friend of mine who doesn't know how to gamble online but when it comes to physical gambling he does it without compromising any of the consequences before hands.

Now it has made every little discussion that leads to argument an avenue to gamble, always ready to stake huge amount just to prove himself right. I consider this being addiction and I am always advising him to drop this lifestyle.

Do you think Online Gambling has the worst potential of making a person addicted?

Whether online or physical, each can amount to addiction. People loves physical gambling because they don't like online gambling or they aren't used to it and that's why you see people going to physical gambling platform but I think it's people that aren't computer literate or don't have good device rgat stress their body and energy to physical gambling when your phone can do all the type of gambling, whether it's casino games you like or sport betting, your phone should aid your gambling style.

Addiction has nothing to do with physical, it's an individual thing. Gamblers with addictions has something in common and that's not stopping when it's due, they will try as much as many ways to win and when the bankroll is exhausted, they look for alternatives to sort out ways to have another money to deposit and when that one doesn't yield anything, you still want to try hard with aim to recover the previous loss from the recent games but deep down, you can't win anything because gambling is an events you know the outcome.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin miners extorting people that are making transaction? on: December 21, 2023, 02:00:00 PM
My friend wanted to make a transaction but it was in the midnight and I was unable to respond to him fast as he was looking for a cheaper way to do it. In the morning, I woke up and he told me that he used almost $10 to make the transaction. He said that miners are extorting people.

I believe your friend saw other options like TRC which he can use and pay some cents instead of the $10 worth of bitcoin but he chose to use bitcoin. No offence but this is not new and I'm very sure he is aware of these ups and downs especially times like this when the bull run is fast approaching, the fees will be higher as the mempool becomes so congested with the transaction and the miners didn't design the chain, they met it like that and they have to use it in accordance to the consensus protocol. If only there was a way this would have been reduced or solved without affecting the decentralization and security of Bitcoin, I believe they would have done so all these years.

Quote
I can defend almost everything people are talking about bitcoin before but I was unable to say anything today. We can say it is not really caused by miners but bitcoin developers which have been unable to make bitcoin mempool not to be too much congested.

Did what my friend said somehow right? Is high transaction fee extortion?

Some people will say that the more money miners see the more they will want to increase their hash rate and the stronger the blockchain.

See my friend, if you are saying that miners are extorting people, that's a false accusation because this has been the same since the inception of Bitcoin right in 2010, there have not been any changes regarding this but the only thing I can accuse miners and developers are ordinal inscriptions that were allowed in bitcoin network. Just because something is open source should be a strict rule to disallow some playmakers from taking advantage of people, these ordinal meta structures have taken more than half of mempool transactions and they are paying way more than what ordinary people are paying for their transactions.

Who is enjoying these fees, the miners and their activities are affecting ordinary people who are trying to use Bitcoin. There has been a call to stop it on the network but currently, miners are already in their peak of 2022 revenue fees and they are enjoying it, they don't want their revenues to be affected else if this is not generating fees, it would have been stopped by now but we know meme better how they ended after the 2022 run, even these ones will settle down after the trend and will become useless as usual. They are even given excuses that these ordinals will force people to use LN, like WTF? Angry Must I use LN to use Bitcoin?
493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting as a Bitcoin Blogger on: December 21, 2023, 01:40:09 PM
Seasons greetings to all members of the forum and happy Christmas in advance. Not too long the year will come to an end and I have been thinking since I started this forum and have started learning much about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I have decided to take a bold step in starting a life as a blogger in Bitcoin specifically. It's difficult to know how to start, but i have started watching video lessons on blogging and the first thing I was asked to do is to create an account on some blog sites like Medium, Wordpress, Wix and Tumblr. I know some people may be wondering why i have to share it here.

The thing is i need encouragement, insights and resources that will help me grow and successfully achieve this goal. By next year i want to be officially a Bitcoim blogger because am proud and i feel like one now  Cheesy

Perhaps i can find a mentor here.

I have a question for you and I hope you have the answer to it. Are you trying to blog about Bitcoin because you like Bitcoin or because you want to make money? The reason I'm asking is that blogging is only sustainable if you make money from Ads and as a starter, the first thing that will come to your mind is Google but the problem here is that Google doesn't accept crypto niche yet, in fact, they don't accept adverts when it comes to cryptocurrency including big guys like Meta.

The vlog videos you see on YouTube don't make much and that is why you see them making referrals to exchanges for bonuses, they don't make much from the adverts and crypto enthusiasts are very careful of links, even when they make suggestions, people don't click on this links just to be safe.

My advice is you should look beyond now, if you are big and people love your content about Bitcoin and your presentations, you will get immense traffic and through that, you can be able to do customized ads for crypto companies and other crypto platforms that want outreach for their products and also those that want crypto reviews.
494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: RBF. What are the dangers of making it mandatory for all Transactions? on: December 21, 2023, 01:11:31 PM
The question is in the title.
I was reading on some other topic on this Board and it got me curious.  Why is RBF not by default for all Transactions on the Blockchain?

I would love to ask a stupid question. What will happen if all transactions are RBF by default? Do centralized exchange users get control over their transactions?  Cheesy Some wallets have to do some work to implement these features. There are a lot of users who use Trust Wallet these days, which gives them the seed phrase! Still, the users do not have options to enable RBF.

RBF is just a feature to allow unconfirmed transactions to be bumped up through the fees, I don't see any relation between RBF and centralized exchanges because even if by default RBF is enabled by all the nodes as a consensus rule, the centralized exchanges will remain the way they are because they have fixed transactions for withdrawals and that's where they make money as a business. However, the advantage of the stable fee they collected sometimes favours the users in the sense that if the mempool is full, they pay more than what is expected of you assuming you are the one making the transaction. For instance, the median fee might be 250 sats per vbyte and you may be required to pay $20 but they sometimes suspend transactions when there is congestion, smart move right.

I think this is about freedom to choose, why not the current service force every user to use bech32 or taproot? there are many services give legacy or P2SH address to deposit. Right now, total funded Bitcoin address in legacy is more higher than bech32.

Do you know one thing about the Bitcoin network, you don't force things because the network is not a one man technology and that is why we don't expect it to have a single point of failure to affect others. Whenever there is a new update, they make sure that the update is backwards compatible in the sense that the new node can download the full update and the old node can maintain the previous updates and still be able to use the new updates. Any new node can still maintain the old code and still be able to use the new code but it is just that some old nodes don't care about upgrades and updates.  In addition, you can't force everyone to abandon the old wallets because if you check the rich list of bitcoin, it's legacy wallets that contains more of the wallet, if you want to force people to used the new wallet, I guess some people might lose access to their bitcoin.
495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best decision you can take on: December 20, 2023, 02:07:12 PM
As long as trading is concern, it's very essential you have a guideline rules you follow while trading, and one of those rules is not trading when not sure of the market.
As simple as it may sound, it's very difficult to abide by it.

If you have a basic rule and you don't stand by it, you will not only be hurting your trading funds, you are becoming a bad trader who doesn't care about the future of his business. Trading is like a business and you have to treat it as such because if you have a business running and you are aware that if you open the shop in the in night, you may sell but it can invite hoodlums to it and take away your items and yet you still went ahead to do that, it means you don't value your business. Trading is a pure business.

Quote
A good and Skill trader must know that in other to stay long and profitable in the market,
it very important we know when to stay off the market,
there are always opportunities in the market,
so why risk your capital
 when you are not sure
of your analysis or the market is in an awkward situation like consolidation from the 4hrs timeframe? When there is no clear direction and confirmation of the next move the market is trying to take.
The best we can do is to stay off, the most important thing is for us to be profitable, even if we have to trade once in  a week , it's better than losing, it's better that our account is intact than blowing it.

Staying off is the best we can do, when not sure.

As easy as it sound "staying off the market" is really hard for some people but I think it what you need to consider first is the type of trader you are as a person. If you are a trader that loves trading daily, then there is no any way you will stay off the market a day, you lose the opportunity making money for that day but as a on and off trader that only trade when there is opportunity, then you need to always do due diligence if it is okay to enter the market or not.

However, bitcoin market is tricky, the days you don't want to trade are the days you might miss out the goodies t the market. As much as I like trading, the only way to win from this market is to always hold some coins so as not to always miss opportunity of pumps more particularly as we are about to enter bull run, coins will be flying everywhere very soon and even as a trader, it's better not to miss the chance.

Did you know that you could make money in Crypto through arbitrage? I believe arbitrage is a Business!

Let's hear from the horse mouth, all you are saying is theory. It would have been better if you share the recipe of the arbitrary trading by example. It will make more sense if you do that and everyone will learn practically and not by the book

Quote
There are lots of opportunities that could be explored during these moments and as we head to the bull run, let us explore them!

For example, one could buy coins cheaply in China or any other country and sell it at a higher rate to a country where there is high demand for the coin.

For us to enlighten one another, what could be some of these countries that are in high demand of Bitcoin or USDt & how can we leverage on arbitrage opportunities?

Do you think this is an avenue that we can potentially use to earn a living and be financially free?

I look forward to your messages.

Thanks.

Same China that has banned bitcoin for some years now? They should even be the ones to have less rate because if you have a bitcoin to sell in China, you will only have less buyers and you will be stuck with low patronage and might only settle for less buyers and if you are buying, you will only see less volume of bitcoin as buyer and that is even more risky thing to do because if anything goes wrong, you assets will be seize instantly.

The only way you can enjoy arbitrage trading is between two exchange, if one is illiquid you can find cheaper rate their and bring to larger exchange with volume. However there are some challenges in arbitrage trading such as:
- Withdrawal fees might not be friendly, coins Bitcoin and ethereum are bad for this business right now because the fees are insane.
- Only few altcoins does bring arbitrage opportunities nowadays, bitcoin and ethereum will be quickly bought and altcoins are very tricky especially if you are buying and selling between two exchanges that has less volume, so you have to be careful especially the MEME market.

Girona really impresses game after game, really beautiful games. They are Real Madrid's serious competitors to win La Liga, and Real Madrid should not take this lightly. With the game like now, it feels very difficult for other teams to beat, unless they meet Real Madrid, Barcelona and ATM again in the second match, they could lose points.

I want to start thinking that Girona might win this league this season because I don't know where they got energy from to dominate this season. It is not like in the history of the club they once had a Laliga trophy that will convince me that they have experience like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and many other teams with reputation with Laliga but Girona is just different and they are even stronger than ever because so far they have the highest number of goals scored in total but I admire Real Madrid for the most disciplined team staying at the top with less number of conceded goals.

I remain confident that this season Real Madrid will become La Liga champions, a difference of two points is very easy for Real Madrid to overcome. Girona will be in second or third place at the end of the season. Even so, Girona should be proud of their hard work to be able to qualify for the UCL League next season.

A difference of 2 is not my problem, my fear is what will happen next. Remember that Vinicious is out for now, 3 more prominent players are injured which leave the team with risk of going from average to a bad team. What do you think might happen if they lose form, they will suffer another loss to other teams and that is how they will drop down from the top but I will be optimistic about the progress if they don't disappoint, I have high hope on Modric because he will be living the club after this season and I think he will like to leave with a good legacy for the club.

Real Madrid has shown a lot of dedication this season and even last season in la liga and champions league, and there was high hope of them winning last season but their focus was on champion’s league and they lost the two leagues and this season is another season. And the only serious team I see in La Liga that can stay on the same point is Girona. The players' experience is also very important, and they will look for possible ways to compromise when there is a challenge. Bellingham's injury will affect the club's performance, but they will look for an alternative to fill in for Bellingham. And Manchester City is not in the best of shape, so it will be even more difficult for them. And the fact that Manchester City is unstable will benefit a lot of clubs. And Barcelona is worst and they won’t even go far they are not in good condition.

Many things happened to Real Madrid and it has nothing to do with focus. They were less active and doesn't have much men on ground. Benzema wear off after winning his Ballon D'or and was having multiple injuries, Vinicious was busy playing victim of racism, I know it hurts with the rate of racism is Spain but he should learn to prioritize the club instead of having to fight every day and fight other teams for not discipline their own, you can only warn a grown up person but you can't beat them for their actions and if it was ban, how many are they going to ban? He should have learn to use his goal to pain their faces instead.

They were also having so much out of form, today they are doing fine and the next day, they are playing what I don't understand. There was a time they were absolutely playing rubbish most especially with teams below 10th place in the table and Barcelona took their chances and pass them with points and become number one spot. All efforts for Real Madrid to get  above Barcelona was hard and  they gave up without Champions League and Laliga but I hope the emergence of Bellingham bring them good luck this time.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 20, 2023, 01:16:42 PM
I noticed there has been some topics about how first time winning is dangerous. What I am saying is someone that has not gamble before, to gamble and win. That it is dangerous. Yes it may be dangerous because the person may have the exciting mind to gamble more  and lose. But that is not the whole true story.

I hope you know that luck is not a thing that is predictabl and not generic, we have some people that are very lucky in gambling that a time will come that you will ask your self if you are doing the right thing or the wrong thing. You will think that you are not doing something good but it's luck and I have seen a new gambler make something good many times and few losses despite having a big first win from ha.

Quote
If not talking about the first time loss gamblers that later become addicted, what you are saying is not completely true. If we can do a survey of gamblers that won or lost in their first game, the people that will chose won can not be 100%. They might not be 70%. It may be 50%. Some people will gamble for the first time and lose and continue to gamble. The main reason is because they think gambling is a way money can be made. Unless they change their the way they think about gambling, that gambling is is not a money making means, first time win or loss is not necessarily the cause of their addiction.

Gamble with the money you can lose.

This one is important, some new gamblers are trapped by this many times and regret after just like a guy that borrowed a huge amount of money and add to his own only to lose everything and took his own life for failure and scared of the shame that he may be able to pay back the money he borrowed. This are the kind of set up and because of lack of proper orientation of gambling, they fall for it.

There is this part many gamblers fail to see, if many people win from gambling, I think we will have testimonies everytime but it's only few and it's only when they win they post about it and when they lost, they don't post anything. That's tell us how careful we should be if you are thinking of making money from gambling, the rule should always be bet responsibly.

I like bitcoin in all angles of use case but I'm limited to use it, in fact ban by CBN in my country. You still expect me to go ahead and do against the laws? The commercial banks and other financial system were ban from facilitating bitcoin transaction. Now imagine, I have some bitcoin, how can I spend it even if I can use p2p to change to fiat, it's still involve fiat which must be from the banks because you need to spend it and the locals recongnize it as one and only legal tender

Some people that use fiat use them because it's the law and what the court hold to protect and you don't dare go against it because something you want instead of what they want. However, let me ask you, how do you plan to pay this huge fees on transaction on a single input and output everyday, don't think it is the best for daily use transactions though.
