481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 05, 2017, 10:51:59 AM
Bounties finally redistributed.
Now, massive sale and price drop come.  Grin
Chance to buy more cheap MCOs

exactly.. I think a good price to buy should be around 0,8$-1$ when the cap will be around 10M $
And upon what you base your claims? Or you would like to buy them cheaper as you can get? Believe me majority of us would like the same but we don't spread fud around. Also i don't see that bounties causing this because they are not delivered.
I also don't see price will come to $1 only if btc goes down than mco may get cheaper but for now possibility of both are negligible.

Same, if Monaco goes up to a $1 then there would be a bunch of people that are holding it trying to get the coin to dump. That will leave a negative impact on the people that are holding the coin while hoping that the price of Monaco will go up. I am not into the payment card idea though the coin looks like it's going to be worth something in the near future.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Buy ChronoBank TIME on Bittrex or Liqui.io ! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: July 05, 2017, 10:47:43 AM
Good news for all Time holders in parallel with price increasing:
- Chronobank opening mobile wallet app testing, send email to support@chronobank.io to get download link.
- Chronobank started LaborX user interface development
- Bittrex added new Time/ETH trading pair.
- some ICOs started to accept Time tokens, and some coins are freely distributed for Time holders.
it seems holding this token will give us a lot of advantages.

I wonder why ICOs accept TIME - it's just an ETH token

because they see , what you still dont understand about TIME. make your research and you will find the  advantages of CHRONOBANK and why they accept TIME... is the accumulation phase. * tip*

The accumulation phase.  Grin

It looks like you might be right. The coin deserves a price rise soon since there's a number of people trying to purchase or hold the coin in case something happens. Chronobank been lurking in this forum for a very long time so there's a huge possibility that the price of Chronobank will go up.

I know that most people was upset do to the dumps going on for a few days a while ago.

When can we remove our signatures?

Good job on the ICO, it looks like there's a bunch of people interested in the project.

There are still 20 more days or 6.5 million tokens for ICO to finish so I think you are keeping your signature for now. Honestly my prediction for this ICO was a lot faster but somehow it slowed down so much. I think it will eventually get sold out in a week or so.

If the campaign is over then we should be able to remove our signatures since they aren't paying us for it.
I just want to receive information from the campaign manager before doing so.

Agree, pls one of managers confirm about signature.

Guys, please don't hurry up just to avoid any misunderstanding.
Let's wait for the official announcement from the campaign managers at the OAX Bounty thread.
Possibly tomorrow - monday they will count 4th week and final stakes.
Until then would be good for any participant to continue wear the Signature.
You'll be able to remove Signature straight after the announcement about the end of the Campaign.
And yes, thank you for the participation in the OAX Bounty!
Alright, thanks for the reply.

Hi,
just a question, not sure to have understood......
If i bought let's say 500 OAX during the ICO i need to full submit (somewhere, actually i'm not able to find it) my IDCard/Passport, Bill and personal data to unlock that tokens?

Thanks

Thank you for the interest to the project, Sampey!

Here is some info about current situation with KYC:

Pinned post on Slack:
"Reasonable KYC processes are conducted to comply with the (basic) regulatory requirements.  Given the critical interaction that will be required going forward for the successful launch of the project, it is important that the Foundation and the Exchange do not get started on a negative footing with regulators and policy makers which may otherwise jeopardize the viability of the project."

OAX representative on Slack:
"we will have updates shortly (likely tomorrow) regarding the KYC process and how we will simplify it
I will keep slack updated regarding KYC processes"

We will keep Bitcoin Talk updated too. Smiley

Please try to explain why we need to have a KYC verification completed if you guys already have our Ethereum address. Is the tokens going to get placed on the ANX exchange and the investor will have to manually transfer the coins out of it or is it going to be done one by one manually through some sort of escrow?

thanks.

Thank you for the interest to the OAX platform, HongKong!
1. I am not the representative of the OAX Foundation. I may just assume that the KYC and AML/CTF procedures are the demand of a lot of regulators in a lot of countries. And the openANX is trying to accomplish all these requirements, to be completely in the legal field. It's a very important for the openANX as for the future large global player. Ethereum address is quite anonimous as i know. Let's wait for an announcements on this theme.
2. If I understood your question correctly. After the investing you can see the Tokens in your wallet (after adding Custom Token). On July 29th+- the Tokens will be "activated" and will become tradable and transferable. You may read about all phases of distribution here in the Token Sale Summary Sheet:
https://www.openanx.org/en/assets/documents/openANX_Token_Sale_Summary_Sheet_ENU.pdf

Alright, thanks for the info. I kind of understand it now.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: downtime soon ? on: June 29, 2017, 10:12:08 AM
I think these are the coins that no one has ever wanted, so they'll auction off and release all the remaining stock of coins they have, the best solution is to wait, monitor and watch all the moves of the coins in the market
now!!!
It could be. I know that the price of Ethereum went up so the people that were holding that coin were likely to transfer their holdings into Bitcoin so they cash their coins into some fiat.

The price of Bitcoin will increase further and the people that cashed their money out might try to purchase again though at a higher price range.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: June 29, 2017, 10:07:45 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .

yes in my own opinion bitcoin is a good investment for making huge profit in the future because i do believe that the value of bitcoin will increase in the future.Especially nowadays many people are more interested its concept.
So as more people now are getting aware in bitcoin we should invest more in bitcoin because if the awareness about bitcoin will continue to go up then the price of bitcoin will go up too because the awareness will develop demand and those demands will be a great help for bitcoin and also to its market to have a higher market total capitalization and also have a higher price for bitcoin.
That might be true though a bunch of people could use Bitcoin and the price of Bitcoin could remain at the price that it is right now. People have to store the coins somewhere so there would be much less Bitcoins available to purchase so the price of Bitcoin can't get manipulated so easily.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: June 29, 2017, 10:04:15 AM
Embrace the bitcoin price now while you can. Bitcoin is a good investment, I truly invest, hold and for sure I will earn more on bitcoin. All of us can be rich in bitcoin just be determinea and be patient to win your goal.
It all depend on the people if they want to have the price of Bitcoin to be really expensive or worth nothing. People like to spend Bitcoin so much that they forget about holding onto it. There's other people that know that the price of Bitcoin will get more expensive so they hold onto it.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: June 29, 2017, 10:01:17 AM
You can't do that right now, because there is no real bank operating in the bitcoin field, and considering how tricky it is to lend bitcoin even for a bank it would be a much lower interest (if a bank ever offers opening accounts with BTC as a base currency).
If there was a person willing to make a Bitcoin bank that allowed two people (both the depositor and the CEO) to have the same password and wallet.dat file then the concept for that could work in favor of the depositor for some period.

The depositor would get paid off the interest from that bank per day/month.

Will be sending out the final payments today. Please let me know if you're open to translating our last campaign message. It will be posted here in the coming days.

Will we receive a payment for this last translation? Please let us know in this thread so that we could begin working on it once we receive the info.

I want to do the translation as well since it doesn't require that much to do so.

Also I've received the payment for last week, thanks.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the current price drop considered a normal phenomenon? on: June 29, 2017, 09:49:03 AM
...

When you look at blockchain.info's home page, there is a graph showing several months worth of BTC price (scroll down a little):

https://blockchain.info/

The drop we had from nearly $3000 to nearly $2600 (now, of course bounced off its recent lows) is not that steep compared with BTC price drops in the past (percentage basis).  If we go below $2000 - $2100, then it may turn into one of BTC's classic crashes, which if THEY FIX the scaling problem (with Segwit2x is the latest idea I suppose), then BTC at those prices would probably be a BARGAIN.

The hype that revolves around Bitcoin is usually what drives the price of Bitcoin up since most people that have Bitcoin don't want to miss out on the price of Bitcoin getting too expensive to purchase.

I would state that it's a natural thing since it does happen often compared to a price increase.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good coins to buy? on: June 29, 2017, 05:03:13 AM
If you have enough capital, then your choice should be ETH. Because there are ICOs every day using ETH as a currency. And Ethereum is getting better and better with every new smart contracts available.

If you don't have capital and you want some passive income with some risk, then go and buy some TrueFlip tokens. As they already have a working lottery platform. And by their profit calculator even at lowest you will get 20% per year.
I am not so sure if Ethereum is a good investment since the price of Bitcoin is moving in whole bunch of directions. The price of Ethereum goes with the price of Bitcoin so you might want to wait till the price of Bitcoin gets a little lower before you purchase any Ethereum.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: June 28, 2017, 09:14:19 AM
OAX's community is growing rapidly everyday so many new people joining this project when it will reach it's maximum this will get bigger and more strong than ever. As expected this project has amazing progress and people still has chance to join this transparent ICO.
It’s not too late for people to join in on this ICO, I have a feeling that the price of OAX will double a little sooner than expected since the people that invested in it want to get more money than they put into it. This project looks legit as well so I don’t really know why the ICO isn’t 100% sold yet.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: June 28, 2017, 09:11:09 AM
Often see some bounty post, how can I do to get free and have the potential coins, for example, in the bittalkcoin this forum on their product post, what is the request for my account? Activity quantity
I am surprised that there’s nobody mentioning faucets. As small as the amount people get from certain faucet sites I am pretty sure that there is someone out there that makes a living trying to get free Bitcoins and Altcoin using those faucet websites. It’s worth a try till you find something else that works.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherum gas calculator on: June 28, 2017, 09:09:01 AM
Hi,

Does any of you know a website who can calculate the cost of a transaction if I put the gas limit and the gas price in Gwei please?

Cheers  Grin
A calculator would be nice. I usually input around 60,000 gas just so I could send a transaction. With the large amount of people using Ethereum now I don’t really know how much the gas fee is. 60,000 gas may be a little bit too much to spend for a single transaction.

500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are transaction delays crashing Bitcoin prices? on: June 22, 2017, 08:55:42 AM
As you might have noticed miners are pushing their lucks too much to process and include transactions in blocks as fast as possible then you'll

See block times in less than 10 minutes which ironically increases the difficulty exponentially every time they mine too many blocks in an hour

Which normally they were supposed to mine then every 10 minutes, while the same miners are the ones refusing to activate the yet best

Proposals available which has been known as SegWit, they are using a stall tactic to collect and earn as much money(BTC) in fees as they can

Before others activate the one thing that first will limit their ability to use the boost function if they were using Antminers and second to

Practically limits their control over causing stupid high fees, they don't realize that others are looking up to them while they are looking

And waiting for others, they're not idiots but they act like it.
You're right though you're also wrong. It is pretty easy to notice that there is a bunch of miners that are manipulating the mining process of Bitcoin though there is a group of miners that are really trying to keep up with the competition due to Bitcoins difficulty percentage rising up.
