483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HUGE PROBLEM, LOST MASSIVE AMOUNT OF BTC. 100 BTC is Reward on: December 03, 2018, 03:52:40 AM
It took a while and was a pain in the ass but I upgraded my software to extract private keys from un-encrypted wallets now.

It searches for bit patterns even inside corrupted wallets so it's probably the most hardproof software out there, as long as the wallet isn't losing any data, it'll find your keys.

Demo video

I'm heading off to sleep now. The 100 btc will have to wait Smiley
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HUGE PROBLEM, LOST MASSIVE AMOUNT OF BTC. 100 BTC is Reward on: December 02, 2018, 08:43:59 PM
I've sent you a PM. I'm confident I can help you recover your wallet file.
485  Economy / Scam Accusations / ElitePvpers forum completely overtaken by scammers on: December 02, 2018, 11:43:48 AM

Elitepvpers.com : this website used to be my go-to website for video game currency trades, it also has a massive black market of video game cheats, accounts, and pretty much an economy all around the category.

I noticed they had a crypto-currency category : https://www.elitepvpers.com/forum/crypto-currency-trading/

A lot of people there trade Paypal / BTC, the website is also based in germany so it's common a good chunk of their posts is in german. I'm trying to buy some btc using Paypal, I instantly received 3 PMs that agree to a 1:1 trade.

Fast forward a few hours :

Lol, I haven't even traded with him and we're already at the "it wasn't me" phase.

One other user with equally high feedback also tried to get me to send paypal first, I told him to just show me his address with the funds first, and he just started coming up with the weirdest excuses (I need paypal money to buy btc for you)...

Long story short, if anyone else here also knows about this forum and tries to use it for crypto trades, don't. It feels like most of the accounts there are fake now, and that forum long lost its glory.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BOUNTY: Lost Coin Recovery on: December 02, 2018, 10:25:28 AM

I scanned it and it was absolutely no dice Sad...

I really appreciate you writing this program for us.

You have no idea how much closure you've brought me.

Thank You!

Brian

Well I hope it helped you. If it displayed any errors while scanning or you feel like you might have done something wrong let me know.

Otherwise, if youre sure the wallet was there, the software skips files larger than 300mb, and wont find your wallet in archives. So try to check those manually

488  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect from Bitcoin after the last BTC gets mined? on: December 01, 2018, 04:33:53 PM

The "OG" might be a developer, a miner, or a whale-cumulator like Barry Silbert.

By 2024 on the halving to 3.125 rewards per block, and on the condition that Bitcoin's price has not increased high enough to support the miners' operating costs, someone will campaign for a fork to increase inflation, but without increasing the monetary supply to "save Bitcoin".

It will be another big drama same as the scalability debate.

I hope you understood my point this time.

I'm intrigued on the "how" part of "increasing inflation without increasing the monetary supply". But I'm not going to argue that future is going to bring a lot of surprises for bitcoin, it's not unlikely for drama to happen and I've even written a paragraph about this in my last post.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is ''SPORTSBET.IO'' is GOOD? on: December 01, 2018, 04:17:22 PM
I'm not really sure why there are so many people are saying that Sportsbet.io is respected and trusted sportsbook. They have several unsolved scam accusations for years, how such service can be called as great gambling website.
As for OP, even though I never used sportsbet.io to confirm anything, I did try to get the free bet just like you.
You never used sportsbet.io, but you already wearing their paid signature. Is it normal?

OP, I really don't know why you didn't refund because I'm not using sportsbet. Maybe try to post your issue on their official Bitcointalk thread.

I'm more confused on how you thought it wasn't normal? Do you want me to gamble my savings away for you to be satisfied? Sig campaigns are promoted through accounts in return for payment. Of course I do my quick research and I'm never going to promote a blatant scam, but if sportsbet.io were to close and pull a Mt.Gox, you're going to come to me and ask your money back? Cheesy Please do, and send a long message too I would love to read it.

Like I said, looking at their thread, and the general feedback from most trusted members, I said that it's very likely the problem is on OP's end, not from Sportsbet. He's just a newbie with 0 post history, if anything that's simplest red flag of all.
490  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: December 01, 2018, 04:08:26 PM

I was thinking along the lines of escrow.com as an acting client account (forgot this is the crypto everything for the moment)!

I mean I'm just trying to be on your side for a bit here, I don't think an escrow will add any value. It's because I don't believe there's someone that will say : "I would trust escrow.com with 2$, but I wouldn't trust him with 2$." If they DO think so, I'm sure for their sanity, that they're better off not betting off that two bucks anyways.

On the other hand, if you already have the money, and would like to prove that you do, I'm sure there are a lot of other ways to do so, and I can agree that it might raise more interest in your promotion.

Out of curiousity, how long did it take your to raise the the money for the house in the articles? How much did you raise and how many people participated?
491  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: December 01, 2018, 03:53:35 PM
Yes may be this can be compared because the chance might be the same here but what I do know is that there is not all site that offer that huge single payout. I only think about primedice and not other sites again that can over this huge amount of payout. And you must bet around 0.007 btc just to get 71 btc payout. So yes if you are lucky enough but the chances is really slim to get this

Btw for OP if you are willingly to ask for escrow to hold it then it might be really interesting project to bet

LOL, ESCROW. Holy shit dude. I'd bet my pants that more than half the legendary users on this forum will scam exit with that amount of money in btc. Fuck man, what kind of people do you think type behind these accounts? Saints? Escrows scamming people has happened over, and over, and over on this forum and yet people seem to think once someone is trusted, they are bound by a holy contract to not lie or steal ever again.

Don't use any escrow OP, it's your money, that's as trusty as it gets. Chances of you scamming people off 2$ each is still existent, but unless your pic is photoshopped and you're not the real owner of the website, and/or unless those news articles are fake information (where both cases are a little too unlikely imo), then you have no reason to scam on this one. Hell you probably make more profit being legitimate than doing that, if you manage to gather enough people for the raffle.

Only way to escrow a raffle this big would be to have at least 6 or 7 people share keys to a multi-sig address, but it's going to be way too complicated, and it's just plain stupid to suggest an escrow for this.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill-based Gambling/games? on: December 01, 2018, 07:31:54 AM
Speaking technically, if it's skill based, it's not called gambling, its called a challenge. And there are ways you can challenge other players without the need of a host. I   liked the ChopCoin game as someone mentioned above but that's the closest I have come across. I don't trust the bot making game because you are always competing against someone better than you.

It's not necessarily true, I can agree with you for games like chess, checkers.. But poker for example, is a skill based game where you can control what rounds to play based on your hand, but its still affected by luck.
ChopCoin I liked too, but you can't be perfect at it, there are also a lot of environment factors that can affect if you can win or not.

Sportsbetting, even rock paper scizzors can be a skillbased game, because a smart person's winrate will largely surpass a newbie's, it still means that sometimes, due to randomness factors, even a calculated bet can backfire.
493  Economy / Currency exchange / HAVE PAYPAL NEED BTC on: November 30, 2018, 09:40:45 PM

I'd like to buy Btc. Will go first for members with more trust than me.

PM me or write here.

I don't have a telegram. Discord or Google hangouts.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BOUNTY: Lost Coin Recovery on: November 30, 2018, 08:17:42 PM
Anyways much more details will be needed from the OP's side if there is any chance for us to help you. A lot of information is lacking...
What info's?

Looks like you had a great vacation.

If you didn't see it yet, I made an open-sourced software to help you out : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5071775

If you still want to stick to your 10% offer I'd be happy, but now the software is open sourced so.. Smiley

Still, if you need any help just send me a PM.
495  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] 🚀 Sportsbet.io 🚀 [Signature Campaign] 🚀 [Up to .01/week on: November 30, 2018, 05:26:47 PM

Hey I applied but did not get approved. - this is no problem for me Smiley

I would just like to know why I did not get approved so I can fix this! Please let me know why Grin Huh

I'm going to quote a previous post of @jeremypwr so that it helps you get a better idea :

Just to reiterate what I have already said:

Some factors that I will be considering for the new Sportsbet.io Signature Campaign:

1) Trust history (hopefully you have some positive trust)
2) Applicants who don't bombard me with PMs and repetitive applicants

3) Applicants who don't refer to me by my first name (we don't know one another that well, and my name isn't what you may think it is)
4) Applicants who have long gaps in between posting dates
5) Applicants who spread out their posts (not posting 3 times in 10 minutes)

It seems like you have no trust so that might be it, I'm sure he also checks post quality too. So try to make some "interesting" posts to receive some merit, or such.

Also these are just my own words, but chances you're going to get recruited after you've been denied before are probably very slim, but I could be wrong, so good luck.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Real places where you can spend your Bitcoins today on: November 30, 2018, 05:21:03 PM
You wrote "real places" in the title of the OP, yet 30% of your post is promotions for and digital goods and services..
I would like to buy a mattress, but this post would be a lot more interesting/unique if you included some massive physical goods websites that can ship any items worldwide for bitcoin.

I googled for a bit and I'm really depressed that I couldn't find a single website, literally every link on this reddit thread is expired :

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1oi7ui/looking_for_bitcoin_stores_with_international/

Maybe someone knows about some niche websites?
497  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: November 30, 2018, 08:11:13 AM

Thank KingZee, sending to my dev to see what he can roll out on these lines

Good luck again! Also depending on how many people join, you could start the number with a different figure. (If only 100k people joined, all numbers can start with 100.000 up to 199.999 and so on)
498  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: November 30, 2018, 12:59:32 AM
Wow! This bastard might actually be for real..

Two posts about him raffling his house, and the winner afterwards :

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/02/06/2-raffle-ticket-could-win-mansion-lancashire/

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5350399/Woman-won-850-000-home-2-raffle-rents-out.html

He does look the same as in the photo, so this could be true I guess.

For the problem of the fairness of the selection, you could just make the database of all entrant usernames/aliases/etc. Each one of these aliases is going to be numbered, in a specific manner as follows.

Once all entrants are selected, assume you have less than a million players. (very probable) All those players can effectively be numbered using 6 figures.

Generate a number for each contestant, it should look like this : 253486, as long as it's unique it won't matter which order they are.

Release the database of each username + number publicly on your website! And you're going to announce the number of a future bitcoin block! Once it's mined, you should check the page similar to this : https://www.blockchain.com/btc/block-height/551955

And that's it, scroll down, you'll see the nonce value. Whoever has a number matching the last numbers of the nonce wins!

If there is no match, check the following block! It usually takes just a few minutes to mine the next one.

Or if this is too much, like, just make a facebook live or something.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is ''SPORTSBET.IO'' is GOOD? on: November 30, 2018, 12:24:13 AM
Why did not you put  "sportsbet scam" or "everybet scam" into google prior of making a deposit?

Everybet lies about its not existing license and customers were already scammed!

Looking at your trust it's obvious that you just like to tag websites and every account on here red, not that anyone really cares but keep on yapping.

As for OP, even though I never used sportsbet.io to confirm anything, I did try to get the free bet just like you.

They have a shitload of terms for it here : https://sportsbet.io/promotions/welcome-offer-mb-30#

Check the Terms and Conditions very carefully, and see if you haven't broken any one of those rules. It would suck if your story were true, but I'm sure from the massive promotions and feedback on their main thread from trusted members, that it's probably on your end.
