481  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: December 01, 2018, 11:16:59 AM
I think people will use Bitcoin as a currency only when they will gain confidence in Bitcoin and stop fearing that. This can be made possible only with the help of government. The governments of many countries are still holding negative views about cryptocurrencies and banning its use. Under such circumstances, how can we expect people to have faith and use Bitcoin as a currency? It will only happen when Bitcoin will be allowed to operate freely and openly.
I agree that a lot depends on the decision of governments. I mean, there are huge resources in the hands of any government.Media, parties and television. If there is a positive background on the part of governments, which highlights the positive side of cryptocurrencies, then there will be more supporters of cryptocurrencies, respectively. How can you get people to use Bitcoin if few people know about it?
482  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Crypto Started by Western Elites? on: December 01, 2018, 10:09:35 AM
I dont know if the western is credited to this.
All i know is cryptocurrency started because of BITCOIN influential.
Then BTC is created by a man named Satoshi Nakamoto.
As the name state, i would think it is started from ASIA.
It is very stupid to simply define the place of birth of Bitcoin by name.In general, I think the creator of Bitcoin is not 1 person but a group of people. And if it is a group of people, it is not the fact that they all sit in the same office).A group of these persons may be people of different nationalities and affiliations and creeds.Perhaps the crypto currency was created not by the state authorities but by some transnational corporations.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: POLL: Would you rather see Bitcoin price grow steadily or in spikes? on: November 30, 2018, 08:29:46 PM
Don't want to sound negative, but we're seeing what the growth in spikes is doing to Bitcoin. Although developments are going on, looking at the price between November 2017 to November 2018 one has to really wonder if any real adoption did happen in this time frame or just mere speculation. Speculators don't care about utility, volatility is what matters to them and a highly speculative Bitcoin market would simply be prone to crashes at regular intervals making it not even a reliable store of value.

What we need is a steady sustainable growth based on functionality and utility which would minimize the speculative/risk factors making Bitcoin more suitable for wider adoption.
At the moment, only speculators are really interested and concerned about the price of bitcoin.Few people are interested in the distribution and mass use of bitcoin, although this is the initial task-to attract people to cryptocurrencies as much as possible.Based on my logic, I certainly wanted Bitcoin to grow in price gradually, just as the audience and the scope of Bitcoin will gradually expand.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 29, 2018, 07:36:33 PM
Your statement is no correct and bitcoin did not destroy you, as long as bitcoin remain a store of value you only lose that value when you cash out you bitcoin at the present market price. You bought when the price is around $10000 to $11000 and knowing fully well how the volatile the market is, it does not guarantee continues increase so you must keep hodling and wait till the market recover again.
That's right. Knowing how unstable the market you still bought bitcoin. And now you want to sell it at the wrong time. Honestly, this is stupid. Not bitcoin killed you and your levity. Now the best option for you is to hodl bitcoin for as long as possible.Bitcoin has a future and it is very joyful.Wait, maybe the price will be 2 times higher than the one for which you bought bitcoin.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was BTC drop caused by manipulation? on: November 29, 2018, 07:08:37 PM
Seems like not so many people were expecting the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization to fall again so drastically. The U.S. Justice Department is investigating whether it was partially caused by manipulation. More on topic here: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-11-20/bitcoin-rigging-criminal-probe-is-said-to-focus-on-tie-to-tether
Do you find this plausible?
I think that the manipulators also took part in the fall of the market. But I wouldn’t lay all the blame on them. There are many factors besides them.Assume a decline in investor confidence in cryptocurrency. Agree if everyone starts selling cryptocurrency, then prices will be reduced without manipulators. The whole cryptocurrency world lacks practical application in everyday life.If this problem is fixed (and there are all assumptions that it will be eliminated),then the trust and prices for cryptocurrencies will grow.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become the reserve currency of the world? on: November 29, 2018, 06:49:09 PM
It has been foretold that a cashless economy or society will emerge. The US$ and majority or all of the world's known legal currencies will seize to exist. Bitcoin may be decentralized and that the government may not have any or full control over it, but I'm pretty sure they'll find a way to identify who owns BTC and then try to manipulate these people or even worse, force them to give up their holdings. This may be far into the future, but it is the most probable thing I see will happen.

Probably. However, there's a slight possibility that Fiat currencies will continue to exist within the future. Given how difficult it is to stop decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, governments would still support Fiat over crypto. Traditional fiat currencies would simply shift towards a blockchain system (either public or private) for the masses to use. The benefits of this would be greater transparency, eco-friendliness (no need to print paper money which is harmful to the environment), and convenience (by not having to carry cold-hard cash at all).

As such, I believe that a centralized fiat currency has better chances of becoming the world's reserve currency than Bitcoin. Right now, the US Dollar has the lead, but everything could change anytime soon. No matter what fiat currency it'll be, one thing for sure, is that the economy will become fully digitized within the future.

Nonetheless, it's best to name Bitcoin as the “People's Currency” rather than the “World's Reserve Currency”. If it remains decentralized, then it'll remain with that title for many years to come. However, if it doesn't, then the chances of becoming the world's reserve currency would be greater than before. Just my opinion Smiley
name The “People's Currency” is really more suited to bitcoin.Let's now imagine for 1 minute that there is no Fiat money in the world. No government in the .world will dream of the greatness of their country and the value of their money. And if this is so, then no country will have a “military doctrine,” that is, there will be no wars.Is it necessary for the quiet life of all mankind.Bitcoin will give everyone the opportunity to understand that we all live on the same planet and under the same sun. With the help of the Internet, people have become closer to each other. The next stage will be Bitcoin. And this will not be the reserve currency but the main and only one.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An International Summit of Cryptocurrencies on North Korea to be held in 2019. on: November 28, 2018, 03:56:16 PM
I am already interested in how this, international, summit will end.Clearly, North Korea's leaders see cryptocurrency as either a threat or an opportunity. As far as I understand the authorities see a huge potential in cryptocurrency, that's why they and are holding this summit.Such a closed country holds such a huge international summit-there is something interesting in it.I am sure there will be something to discuss after him.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever regret having gotten into Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2018, 03:18:49 PM
Many discoverers and researchers did their work and learned something new for free. And in the crypto world you can both learn and earn. Then reality is intertwined with magic. Personally, I don’t regret being here.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2018, 03:07:11 PM
People including me consider measure the success of bitcoin is if they can able to take big profit when we trade for bitcoin and this is a fact that we must admit because most of bitcoin users still considering bitcoin as trade asset but indeed from now on we should not thinking bitcoin for profit only and we should see other potential from bitcoin and the technology behind of it
I support you. Basically, now only Bitcoin is viewed from the side of benefits and rapid enrichment. But the real value of bitcoin goes beyond the material world. And its success is not estimated at $.I hope that many people understand that.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin price will bottom out at $3000? on: November 28, 2018, 02:52:51 PM
I think yes. The last level as for me is 2900$. After this target crypto will start growing. I think that the next bullrun will start in Q1 2019. Also it can be some later. Now it's better to hold.
The fact is that the crypto world does not lend itself to logic, although it deals directly with numbers. To predict here is very difficult, due to various factors.Personally, my opinion Bitcoin probably will not fall to $ 3000, and we will never see such a price anymore.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: November 28, 2018, 01:41:04 PM
only those people who had a bitter experience during their times having a bitcoin, those people who just want to grow their money from bitcoin but the opposite happened and gave up easily. Grin and those people who are still unable to totally regulate the operation of its network. probably, not all people really want bitcoin to disappear the other just don't want to get involve with it
That's probably true.Everyone who is already in the crypto world treats bitcoin as something quite natural,at a time when most people have no idea what bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are.Even with a falling market, interest in cryptocurrencies is still growing every day. Therefore, I can conclude that the market is still very young and it will surprise us many times. And without bitcoin can not do here.So bitcoin will not die.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: November 27, 2018, 08:53:01 PM
Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?

Unfortunately even if you find a good one it's not even a guaranty that it's going to be profitable or it will become a successful ICO we have two things to look for now, is the ICO a real one and is it going to succeed and make it in the market and become profitable for investors.

Want to invest to bring profits quickly? I think ICO is hardly suitable for earning money fast from it, you should look over the altcoin listed on the exchange. The current ICO, I think, is long-term investments, because an idea can not be successful overnight
This is the essence of investing in ICO.All investments in ICO long-term.By and large, it profitable for all real investors for the project not to announce a listing on any exchange.usually after that, the price of coins falling. To all novice investors, I recommend learning how to discern a shitty ICO from the really worthwhile one.Fortunately, a lot of information about this can be found.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 are the new hope for us? on: November 27, 2018, 08:35:10 PM
Prediction for 2020 bitvoin is worth 100k usd according to John Mc Afee, some observers agree with what was stated, Crypto currency experienced the lowest decline in 2015 and rose in 2017 estimated at 2021 all altcoins will soon reach their peak, its still anyone belive it, well Im not  what do you think on this?
I think that the world crypto is not as predictable as it seems to us, and I can say with confidence that bitcoin will not be worth so much, the more expensive bitcoin becomes the harder it is to influence its value, what should be its capitalization, what would it cost 100 thousand dollars? and are there so many coins??? Judging by the panic in the market I think that hamsters will shave quickly, and soon we will see the growth.
100 000$ for 1 bitcoin is certainly something unreal. If we even assume that there will be such a price, I am sure that before this the whales will collapse the course to the very minimum and will redeem everything that is possible. And then there will be the same situation that we are seeing now.1% of the world's population will be richer than the rest 99%.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning is earning! on: November 27, 2018, 07:50:46 PM
While many of us wants to earn from cryptocurrency, we must also take into consideration of going through the process of learning about it of course. Learning is always the first step. As you can see there is "EARNING" in the word "LEARNING". So that's it, we have to learn if we want to earn.

Do you believe me? What do you say?

I totally agree. This is the basic principle of Andreas M. Antonopoulos - famous Bitcoin evangelist and very smart guy. This is what he wrote few days ago on his Twitter:

Quote
I'm no market expert. Invest in skills and education. Skills are hard to earn but also hard to lose. I'm still learning every day and that's the greatest benefit I have found.

You can follow him here: https://twitter.com/aantonop
I agree with this expression. Experience and skills can not be lost or forgotten. With more experience and skills, you can naturally earn more.I love to learn something new. And I want everyone to strive for knowledge. At the same time, new cryptocurrency and new technologies are an immense horizon for cognition.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still have a chance to goes 15k by the end of 2018,Really? on: November 27, 2018, 06:52:49 PM
In principle, everything is possible in the cryptocurrency world.Yesterday I read the news and it gave me optimism for the future.State of Ohio becomes the first to Accept Cryptocurrency for Business Taxes. You can read this news in the original at this link:https://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2018/11/26/ohio-becomes-first-state-to-accept-cryptocurrency-for-business-taxes.Maybe at the end of the year there will be no such bitcoin value, but in 2019 it is unequivocal.I am sure we will have a lot of positive news regarding both Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and the blockchain.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This Year Crypto Red Like a Blood on: November 24, 2018, 01:03:34 PM
I think market will keep dropping and especially for bitcoin will down untill $3k and after that market will be back to positive trend, maybe it can happen in 2019. This year is very bad for investors, especially if they invest in icos.
not only for investors, I think this situation is bad for everyone. I hope that in 2019 things will get better and the market will recover soon
I believe that all investors should be prepared for the fact that their investments were in fact long-term.I can not imagine how the cryptocurrency market will behave, but my personal opinion is that sooner or later prices will rise. And most likely in 2019.Until 2019, most likely we will see only a decrease in prices. In general there will be solid black Friday
497  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suicidal ideation on: November 23, 2018, 05:58:17 PM
Life is a little walk before a big sleep.Do you really want to interrupt the already short life path because of some coins? In the world there are a lot of people who are sick with incurable diseases and yet they do not give up and enjoy life.If thoughts of suicide do not go out of your mind, then you definitely need to reconsider your life guidelines.Whatever your losses, they are not worth your life.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you most interested in learning about? on: November 23, 2018, 05:41:12 PM
In the world of bitcoin, I wanted to see what people are most interested in learning about. Here we have presented a few options to get a better feel for the community here on BitcoinTalk. Please select which topic you would like to learn more about as we continue to develop bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
I am a student in information technology, and I'm interested in Blockchain technology. I'm trying to find out about this platform as it is considered a cornerstone of the future, and now many companies hire programmers who know about Blockchain with very high salaries, so Blockchain is the target of me.
Many see bitcoin only as income.A small part of this forum still believes in bitcoin and in addition to income, they study the principles of new technologies and bitcoin itself. As you know, the minority controls the majority. Those who have now started to study the blockchain technology will always be ahead of those who see only profit in bitcoin.I also want to start a deep study of blockchain technology in the near future.I am sure over time, experts in this technology will be in the top 10 most promising professions.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2018, 05:15:04 PM
Yes indeed, I strongly believe in cryptocurrancy. Because they have potential prospects of profits. All you have to do is choose the right cryptocurrancy at the right time. Due to its large profits, the countries around the world have adopted it today. All intellectuals, who know about crypto currency, have adopted it all. Given its large profits, it has become so famous in such time. Today the research is continuing around the world. There are other reasons too for deep trust in the crypto currency.

Yes, i still believe on Bitcoin, crypto market is never been active as before, we know that somewhere, somehow, we will experience the ups and down on the market of crypto currency as posted, Some country in EUROPE are now open for Crypto currency digital transaction, i am optimistic that some country will follow thru after they resolved the issue on Regulation by government financial institution. i am looking forward that Bitcoin will be accepted to be the New Digital Currency globally...
Hardly bitcoin will be recognized by the whole world. Bitcoin causes too many contradictions in many countries.Nevertheless, I am sure that you need to invest in bitcoin.bitcoin is not only digital gold but also a new (in my opinion very useful) technology.Even though the market is falling, I will not sell bitcoin.Yes, it is a risky investment, but in the long term it is very profitable.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make up for the huge loss. on: November 22, 2018, 12:52:50 PM
Judging by the current crypto market situation. A lot of losses have been inquired by a lot of people including myself. We were all hoping there would a  bull run in December, as of now there are no positive sign yet of a possible bull run.

How do you make up for your losses for the while year if by December there is still no bull run?

here is a lot of ways to fight the depression which connected with bear market Smiley
try to listen some good music
go to the gym
take a cold shower
keep smiling
I agree friend. All too focused on the market and cryptocurrency earnings. You really need to relax, read a good book, go to the movies. At the moment, I do not see a specific strategy for recovering my losses. We can only wait for the market to turn green.
