481  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: hacking bitcoin transactions on: November 13, 2015, 01:21:00 PM
All transactions, as previously mentioned, are encrypted with digital keys. You would have to be an excellent programmer to break the encryption.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: November 13, 2015, 01:11:04 PM

Shut the fuck up you fucking loser. Go insult someone  face to face so they can smash your face in. You even agree with me.

Whoow! hang in there dude no flaming in the thread there are certain people here who might give you a negative trust, or worse get ban in the forum, you don't want getting your account be deactivated right?
You're right. I've retracted that statement. I get hate mail all the time from the YouTube videos I appear in. Oh well, I apologize, but he was the one who flamed me first.
483  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there still demand for a project like this? on: November 13, 2015, 12:54:03 PM
There may be some demand but your competition is going to be steep. There already is a lot of pornography on the internet. However, depending on the attractiveness of the models/actresses you hire you could still make a lot of bank.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: November 13, 2015, 12:48:35 PM
[snip]

Wow, easy on the comments bro, totally ofensive.

People just needs to argue about long run here, and this depends at all in not getting emotional.
Nah, some people just have no social skills whatsoever so they sit in front of the computer all day insulting people since they are so insecure abvout themselves.
485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: November 12, 2015, 04:31:00 AM
There is no such thing as free money. All of these methods out there that show you how to earn free Bitcoin don't teach you how to make a lot of Bitcoin for free. It is best that you develop your skills and offer them for a service here in the service section. All of these faucets are a waste of time.
486  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during november? on: November 12, 2015, 04:26:45 AM
It's looking less and less likely that we will see 500 any time soon.

It will take a long time for btc to cool down from the recent mini bubble. We are going to, at best, stagnate around 300-330. At worst, we will slide right back down to 250 or lower.

I've been saying for a while that we won't see bitcoin going to the moon like it did two years ago when it shot up to 1200. It slid all the way down to 160 early this year. We have recovered a bit and now we are at 320 today. You can say we doubled our money this year, never mind that we lost 80-90% over the last two years.

It hit 290 USD yesterday and bumped up to 320 USD today. I think the Bitcoin community will not let Bitcoin fall back to 250 range. So your prediction of 300 - 330 is somewhat right. I hope that the Bitcoin community will continue to make Bitcoin price at the range of 300 - 330. Let's not aim too far. 500 USD by this month would be a good news but ...
We only need like 100 more until we don't need to duble before the halving. But I hope we duble before and after the halving. Grin
I think this is possible. There is more and more adaptation of Bitcoin ervery single day and it is only a matter of time until it goes to the moon. Come this July, we should see a doubling.
487  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: November 12, 2015, 04:23:22 AM
I have not spent any of my Bitcoins on anything down here in Brazil yet, but I will keep an eye out for those stores.
488  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fakhoury Scammer on: November 02, 2015, 10:43:38 PM
Nowhere else but on the internet can you scam somebody from their parents basement, no job unemployed, trying to scam a loan for some beer money with his loser friends.
489  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinStats - Bitcoin Tools for Windows on: November 01, 2015, 07:52:23 PM
This is definitely a neat little app for Windows users who are into Bitcoin. and BTW, what do you not like about GitHub? I have never heard of Codex and Git is the most popular source control system out there. Other developers you may work with in a team may all insist on using Git. Don't like it? Find another job and forfeit your pay.
490  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trustless Lending - an alternative to BTCJam on: October 31, 2015, 10:54:09 PM
I have uploaded a demonstration of my project at http://cake-tmwdca.rhcloud.com/. Tell me how this is. I have not added any Bitcoin stuff yet.

Edit i notice the nav links are broken. I will have this fixed by tomorrow.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where to trade USD / BTC on: October 31, 2015, 09:58:29 PM
The OP seems to be a newbie to Bitcoin. There are not many Bitcoin exchanges that do not charge a fee. If I were you, I would have a look at localbitcoins.com There are more honest users on that website than there are here. Go there and you should find a local exchange there that does not charge a lot in fees and gives you a good rate.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 31, 2015, 09:49:54 PM
I don't think everyone looses, but there is a large percentage probably do. But professional Poker players do exist, so there is a small percent that can make it work.

Sadly I'm one of he larger population that has only lost money.  Smiley
I would advise you quit gambling. Unless you're good at poker, you are only going to loose money.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The lack of newbie friendly tutorials on: October 31, 2015, 09:45:09 PM
There are plenty of newbie friendly tutorials. I will give you a hint: http://www.google.com (use that website for any question you have about Bitcoin). Fuck, there's a Bitcoin Wikipedia entry! Wikipedia is user-friendly enough and anyone who can't figure that out is not fit to use Bitcoin, considering the knowledge in computers one has to understand in order to user the cryptocurrency. (BTW, where most people on this forum would tell you to "kill yourself", I do not condone suicide so for you I say GIYF (Google is your friend).
494  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 31, 2015, 09:37:00 PM
As a freelancer, I would accept Bitcoins as side income. While its price has been going to the moon, we could expect to see better profits with it and thus maybe become full time on Bitcoin. Someday, I might work full time on Bitcoin, just to see how much income I could make  Cheesy
I agree. It is not best to accept all of your payments for coding in Bitcoin. You can expect to be paid in Bitcoin for every job you get for this forum, but it is still always nice to find a coding gig outside this forum that pays in fiat cash. Freelancer and ODesk are the first websites that come to my mind when looking for any freelance work.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $400? on: October 31, 2015, 01:50:06 AM
It certainly has been a rough year for Bitcoin but I'm beginning to think the price of Bitcoin is on a steady incline. I think we are finally beginning to see Bitcoin start to bounce back and become a new standard currency.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Riddle me this? on: October 31, 2015, 12:19:55 AM
Here is the answer:
It is an evolution of our current monetary system. Do you question evolution of life? If you do, then this answer is not for you.
Unlike me. It fits it just find.  Wink
Exactly the answer my friend. Those people who do not accept Bitcoin are like the creationists who think god created everything into existence. Is not what science says, and as we can tell Bitcoin is an evolution of our money system.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Riddle me this? on: October 30, 2015, 11:15:56 PM
Thanks for your answer Tom.
However, it is very unsatisfactory and the comparison with the internet...tenuous. It still doesn't tackle the very basic idea of a person holding Bitcoin believing that in 2 years time, the value may have doubled, for example.
Why on earth would this person use it, if he/she knew it was vastly undervalued?

Bitcoin is onlu undervalued because it is a new technology and all of it's potential is being worked. In time, more applications will ve found and the price will soar.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Riddle me this? on: October 30, 2015, 09:36:51 PM
You have to have a really good technical understanding on how computers work in general to answer your question. As it was the case with the internet, many people were asking similar questions you were asking. What is the internet's potential? How is it going to look in 20 years? The same could be said about Bitcoin. It is a technology still in development with many future applications down the road. There is going to be more use in the currency and Bitcoin will become as important as the USD. Every purchased Bitcoin for fiat is an investment in this technology.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoins have started moving.. on: October 30, 2015, 09:31:57 PM
I would think that the alt scene does definitely play a significant role in influencing Bitcoin's price. Most altcoins are dependent on the value of Bitcoin, and the value of Bitcoin is determined by the applications of its technology. In time, all of these cryptocurrencies will take off and everyone dealing with them will be rich.
500  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Job For Bitcoin ? on: October 30, 2015, 09:23:42 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1201420.0
Not sure if this will help, but its an altcoin that I have been following recently, they aim to help freelancers and people looking to hire with payment in BTC. They also just recently released whitepaper and looking to distribute coins while talking to exactness so things are gonna kick off soon I hope, I did participate in crowdfund.
So this is an altcoin for freelancers? Sounds interesting. I will look more into into this altcoin. I think having a cryptocurrency  for freelance programmers definitely provides opportunity and this does sound interesting. I will have to look more into this
