481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v5.0 on: November 14, 2016, 04:32:44 PM
my fury has the biggest gain hittiing 180 H/s..maybe its the HBM memory, imagine when HBM2 is released with the rx 490, that gpu will probably outclass the rx 480 and HBM cards by a huge margin.

What is your Fury setting? What is the Catalyst version and the GPU frequency?

My R9 Nano with driver 16.9.1, 1000/500 can only reach about 155H/s. 15.2 is ever slower.

How can I run 2 Claymore instances (one for eth and one for zec)? Currently they running, but there have a problem with the port, how can I change the port for one instance (sorry can't find option like that in the description)?

For the ZEC mininer, you can use the -mport 3333, then the ETH miner, you can use the -mport 3334.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: October 16, 2016, 08:46:25 AM
If I am going to hold for long term then my choice is Gold and if I am going for short then I will choose from Bitcoin and Gold because Gold is forever and good option for all time.

The price appreciation of the gold is just the same as the inflation. I think the bitcoin will rise faster.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 28, 2016, 06:03:08 PM

I love gold but there is no doubt that holding gold has some problems.

1)Gold is expensive.

One of the main advantages of gold is that it is dense form of wealth.

If you want to carry hundreds of kilos of metal around buy lead or copper.

Maybe I should have specified that my comment was in the context of the thread which is basically Bitcoin vs. Gold, what you say is true but I could literally have all the bitcoins that are ever going to be mined in a trezor wallet in my pocket, so if gold is a dense form of wealth, bitcoin can be even more dense if need it be.
Gold can be stored forever, and not be afraid that this currency will be cheaper. Gold appreciated even in ancient times. A bitcoin can not show such indicators of stability.

You can also store the bitcoin for the long term. And the price of bitcoin will rise faster than the gold.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 15, 2016, 04:44:00 PM
Well if it would be a choice of high value like lets say 50k usd then I'd pick gold over bitcoin anytime and for any value under 10k I'd pick bitcoin without thinking. For values inbetween I'd have to see what I would do. Gold is way more stable so more attractive to keep money safe
That is the right decision, and I agree with your because you have a better chance to make a profit investing in gold if you have a decent capital while if you just have a small capital then bitcoin is the answer on that.

With bitcoin you can earn good profits even with a small capital if price goes higher in future and you can expect some quick profits in it which in never possible with gold.
golds price will eventually rising like bitcoin even gold having more stable price and always rising even a little,so when you are expecting some profits both can give you by its own way because both price could rising
the current gold price is already at a fairly high level is very difficult to expect that prices may rise higher than the current price but on bitcoin you can expect if the price can back to touched $ 1,000

This is the best time to invest in bitcoins as every is hoping that price will touch $1k by the end of the year and if that happens then it can give us some huge profits.

I think the bitcoin price will not touch $1000 this year. The highest price could be around $900. I do not see any good news.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 03, 2016, 04:22:41 PM
I would prefer to pick up both. I think that gold is more stable, and its value is recognized worldwide. And I would want to put some money into bitcoin as well, because it has great potential to increase in value, despite the fact that it is more unstable.

For me gold is only a precious metal for ornament and bitcoin is a good asset with higher profit, so I will choose for bitcoin as it has the potential to increase in value and I need an asset so that I earn more money with that.
gold is a really precious metal and i think that it is a good investment but in my opinion bitcoins are way better right now as they are digital

Invest money in gold and start earning bicoins so you don't have to put real money in bitcoins, so in this way in long run you will be holding both of them and making some good profits out of them.

The problem of that approach is that we do not have many ways to earn bitcoin. Our salary is not paid in bitcoin.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: August 18, 2016, 11:50:09 AM
we definitely still did not miss it, i think that the price of etc might still grow right now so im putting some money into it right now to make profit in the future

The Ethereum price is rising at the moment. The price is 0.021 now. The price could rise to 0.025 in the next few days.

It is quite possible for the ETH price to rise to 0.025. But that will not happen in the next two weeks. It might happen after September.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: August 03, 2016, 03:41:28 PM
If you miss the ETH train, you might invest in the ETC. But you have to exit before the DAO attacker attack again.
This. Just this.

If the DAO hacker is part of the ETC promoter, then he might dump his ETC, but other big holders could dump/

Its gotta be the same guy. Who else would it be?

Some bitcoiners who invested in the bitcoin before. Some comments:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4va2y8/is_barry_silbert_deliberately_trying_to_deceive/?st=ir91nrb8&sh=4408d5f4

These guys are quite wise, they sold the bitcoin before the hack and pump the ETC. It is quite suspicious.

Methinks we are going to see distincly sub 10 prices after the fork is implemented, but given the relative stability of the price throughout all this fiasco, I don't expect it to go sub 8. But, we will be in 10 territory for a while.

If there is one thing we can depend on, it's the persistence of eth holders Smiley
ETH is a long term hodl. It should be for all investors.

The DAO fiasco has most people having second thoughts about that.
The debate about forking wasn't handled well either.

I  saw votes in the pools. so people can vote there. In terms of debate, many Etheruem trolls do not have Ethererum, but they debate.

Most the Etherum holders and miners vote for the hard fork. We will know if the transition is smooth soon.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: July 06, 2016, 08:25:11 AM
Yeah, as I noticed the price of gold is increasing as year goes by so it is very good for a long term investment but for now I would gladly choose bitcoins because I already have it and I can make a profit on halving which will be soon.

The gold price is rising now, that is very good. But for the past year, its price did not double. The bitcoin doubled.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: June 22, 2016, 10:36:59 AM
I will choose bitcoin. I think its price will double every year for the next 20 years, then it will rise 20% per year later.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: June 08, 2016, 02:48:45 PM
Well if I were asked to pick between bitcoin or gold, I will pick bitcoin because its easier to convert to real money and it is easier to store.

I will do the same. I have used the bitcoin to buy things online and it is very easy process. I never used gold to buy things.

ETH made it to the moon. Moon Report:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhhSB5PFQkY

I think it is better for the Ethereum/bitcoin to consolidate around the 0.03 level for a few months.

It might drop to 0.02 or around $8 and consolidate there. It will make many people not mine it.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: May 11, 2016, 08:02:00 PM
Looks like ETH train has just started.

The price is rising again. But if the price does not go over 0.03, I think the train is still in the same place.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: April 28, 2016, 04:22:27 PM
Ok but let be clear bitcoin now have very good value and many early adopters are rich now, but for the rest of us this train is gone we can earn with it but not become rich with it. Silver is underpriced but still have and will have more usage over time. Gold is standard, you wont become rich if you buy gold today, probably this value will stay same for ages. Dollar and many other currencies will lose their value, this is different story..

I think that depends on what you call becoming rich. True I don't see many people becoming billionaires off of bitcoin like the early adopters but you could still get a really good return on your investments and this could still improve your lifestyle dramatically.

Exactly bitcoin means extra income which can surely contribute to your life style and can improve your standard of living, comparatively best investment product at a moment.

If you have 10 bitcoins now, that will be small proportion of your wealth. But in 20 years, it will be a bigger portion.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: April 13, 2016, 08:26:06 AM
The price of Etheruem is dropping now. So if you have confidence in Ethereum, you can buy it now.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: April 04, 2016, 06:43:34 PM
each eth is 0.025, so... what's the difference...  btw, it's a great idea to buy some eth now,  I mean, today, because it looks like a "falling day"... and today is this, tomorrow it could be 0.03, and if you put lotta btc in this game, you can earn lot of money, like 16, 18%...

I think there is no difference if the price changes from 0.029 to 0.027. That is normal price action.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: March 27, 2016, 12:24:14 PM
WTS 4 ETH @ 0.1 btc each, please PM

Why do not you sell at an exchange? It will take less hassle and more secure. Do you want to be anonymous?
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We missed the ETH train. on: March 14, 2016, 10:38:08 PM
I think if we start investing in Ethereum now, it is not too late. The price shall rise in the future when it is developed properly.
500  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price in 2016 on: February 27, 2016, 09:47:13 PM
The price could hit $1200 later this years. That could be a new all time high. If the price rises slowly, there will be no crash.
