Why do you push yourself to buy a car via bitcoin? Just cash your bitcoin out and move to the car dealer to buy whatever you want. You don't need to buy it via bitcoin directly.

Anonymity and low fees. Of course bitcoin is only anonymous to a certain point I know that, but it's definitely much more anonymous than a bank account.
Also I like the low fees, which are especially significant when sending money somewhere overseas. And it's FAST! Much faster than international bank transfer and much cheaper than western union.
But im afraid that anonymity features of bitcoin might put on danger due to some Country especially the USA are forcing some bitcoin company to submit the KYC info of all their customer. And this might trigger to other nation to copy that move so that they can collect tax on it. but is good wait and see, because bitcoin price up trend, if bitcoin price incraese very high, ethereum coin and another coin can crash and down
It is usual that ETH will drop it's price because BTC is now pumping, It slowly regaining it's last peak price, I think ETH investors are now turning back on BTC again. BUt some ethereum based coin are still keeping strong just like ICN. I Prefer hlding ICN and EDG because they still pumping it's price and they have a lot of backup investors. I believe that investing on ETH based coin will be profitable later because it is currently on dump price due to sudden price surge of BTC. |

I start on bitcoin last year, And my first experience is not good because at that time, HYIP and Ponzi scam are trending on bitcoin, And i'm being scam many times because i always tempted to the Interest plan they offer, I'm not aware on the risk on investing on hyips that time. Until i discover this forum and start joining campaign and participating on ICO of altcoins. There isn't anyway that you can learn otherwise in today's world most of the millionaire or maybe billionaire would be an educated person but unfortunately that's not how it works. These things related to trading can't be learned in any books it's just the experience you get by speculating the price and seeing the changes and maybe analysing.
Thats not only basing or relying on just speculating purely. Experience does really matter and technical/fundamental analysis.Educate yourself would really takes time because if you dont take it seriously you will not learn nothing. Experience itself can teach us everything about bitcoin, because you will encounter ups and down on the road and at the end you will know what will the result of your decisions that you made. Sadly v12 and v12.1 are too unstable here (already tried to low intensity)...rig with 3x 7990 and 1x R9 295x2, under win10 with cat 15.12...other versions and optiminer run fine...
Can I mine dash with claymore? how ? I have 7990 and 280x some help will be appreciate!!! No Dash. That is minable with ASIC. Well you can, it just most likely will not be profitable at all. That is right. It is better not to GPU mine dash. |

You're right kurbeks. I'm also interested to buy some Asic mining but i couldn't decide yet. My budget is limited around 1000$
Can't buy any ASICs for that price unless you buy some second hand on eBay or classifieds. Your best bet is to buy a GPU rig. I agree with that. With GPU, you can sell later. |

what's the most profitable Crimson for only RX4xx?
In my testing, 16.10.1 and 16.9.2 proved to be equal. I suspect any version from around 16.9.1 up to the last pre-Relive version (16.11.whatever) probably gives the same hashrate results. 16.12.1 gives 5-10% LESS hashrate in my testing, and should be avoided. Thanks. So I will stick with 16.9.2 |

looks like something strange there... v9.1 (and maybe other versions - not tested) send shares below target after diff change (vardiff). So all of these shares rejected by pool. Why new diff ignored? Can you please check? I can be wrong and I have limited debug data - not sure if this happens always or only sometimes at some conditions.
That happened to the DEV mining. For the normal mining, the shares are not rejected. |

We just hit and crossed 20,000 blocks so we should know be getting the full emission rate of 12.5 ZEC per block. This should hopefully reflect in the mining rewards  after that DEV reward of Zcash is 0%  I thougt 20% dev reward is until first halvening in 4 years? Yes. That is right. |
