481  Other / Archival / Re: FREE AWS $200 CODES on: August 17, 2016, 05:50:16 PM
I feel I should comment on this. Several hours ago I started selling these codes on here. PauloLauro first tried to harass me via PM:

------------------------

then he tried to trash my thread and then he created this thread.

Now try to follow his insane (il)logic: first he blames me for "abusing and raping" and claims that because of me selling a few codes (codes that I already got) it will be blocked soon. But then he actually does something even worse than what he just blamed me for and publishes the way how to obtain the code so that it is blocked as soon as possible. That's what he just did.

Now all of you trying to get the code will indeed most probably trigger some safety measure and the codes will be blocked. I am not doing any of what you are doing now (signing up, getting a free trial, etc. etc.), I have already done all that several days ago so because of me and my selling nothing would get blocked. But now it most probably will indeed get blocked because of PauloLauro and all of you trying to follow his method to get the code. And when it's blocked then all of you can thank him.

This childish mentality is what we are dealing with here: if he doesn't have his way then nobody will get to use the code, that's how he thinks, like a 12-year-old spoiled brat.

And as for me selling the codes that I obtained for free, you all need to realize one important fact: all AWS codes sellers on this forum obtained their codes for free! Either because of their skills or cunning, one way or another they got their codes for free and now they are selling them here. I set the price the lowest that I have ever seen on this forum, i.e. 6%, and I think it's reasonable because those codes didn't just fell on me from the sky, I had to do something for it.

The kind of upside of this whole thing is that now everybody can see what this individual going by the nickname PauloLauro actually is about, what is his character, how he thinks.

From the topic text it kind of looks like you are selling Azure VPS with -200$ balance. Just saying.
483  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $200 AWS codes for $12 BTC [AUTOBUY] on: August 17, 2016, 08:45:47 AM
Thank you for your kind review.

Yes, the code is rather unique and very specific and exactly for that reason I appeal to every buyer's personal discretion to not reveal the name of it in the open. Anybody can read this forum and surely it's in the interest of none of us if the subject behind this code found out. I have no clue whether they can do something, I don't know if a code can be blocked after it's been redeemed (surely Amazon could do anything if they bothered enough to), but I really do not want to find out.
Call me paranoid but I think it's just a common sense safety precaution.
484  Economy / Digital goods / -50% OFF now $6 only! [WTS] $200 AWS codes for $12 BTC [AUTOBUY] on: August 17, 2016, 03:26:22 AM
I am not really a seller but I've got a few of these codes and only 1 can be used per account so I am offering the rest here for a very reasonable price.

Expiration: 2016-12-31

You can PM me or use the following autobuy link: http://selly.io/p/28563/a290a6.

If you already have some promotional codes redeemed in your account other than AngelHack2016, MLH2015 or ActivateStartups I suggest checking up with me first via PM so that you don't buy something you already have (though I haven't seen anyone selling this particular AWS code on here yet).

I will deal with any possible complaint or a refund request on a case-to-case basis, depending on the problem description, your trust rating and whether you followed or ignored my suggestion above. (I am not here to scam anybody but I don't want to be scammed either.)

If you are an established forum member (i.e. not a newbie) with a positive trust I can go first otherwise you go first (or use the autobuy).

I can give one or two vouches to trustworthy forum members with a positive trust.

485  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS]Verified Neteller,payza,perfectmoney,skrill account.can verify anything on: August 16, 2016, 08:46:41 AM
any reviews ?
Not yet,bcoz I just open this thread and looking for my first customer.i am sorry if I got you wrong.what exactly you want to know?feel free to ask anything related to this accounts.escrow accepted or go first to higher rank members

I would be careful with Neteller. Years ago I opened two Neteller accounts for 2 people, a married couple, from their home computer. The second account was immediately blocked by Neteller because "it was opened from the same IP address", regardless of the fact that they both had the same street address (living in the same household) and thus logically must have had the same IP address. Neteller blocked the second account anyway. I told them to forget it as it would be pointless to even bother trying to talk to such a retarded company. Thus Neteller lost 2 customers and possibly more as these 2 wouldn't keep the story just to themselves.
So if the seller here claims that I could actually connect to, and normally use, a Neteller account that he created from a different country (and possibly a wholly different continent) I wouldn't bet on it and definitely wouldn't put any money in it.
Neteller has no ip restriction,everybody know that.i can create 10 accounts right now with the same ip address.may be your issue is multiple account or suspected being the same owner of both account.paysafe will unblock your account if you provide the required information or identity pics holding in your hands.there is no problem with the ip,never.

You are wrong or maybe you just intentionally lie. You are a seller and it's in your best interest to sell, therefore you will say anything just to sell.

Soon after that event I personally talked to Neteller regarding my plastic card and I asked about those various measures and they confirmed they do have IP checks and they also told me that if I travel to another country with my plastic Neteller card and don't let them know in advance in what area might I be using the card they may block it once I stick it in a foreign ATM or try to pay with it.

So that is the raw reality, or at least it was a few years ago when this all what I described here happened. Therefore I urge everyone to be cautious with Neteller products, let alone Neteller stolen/illegal products.

I bought quite a bunch of codes from the seller recently and I just received a gift from him and all I can say is wow! I did not expect that.

488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New stratum/getwork proxy with Web-based GUI and pools management on: August 16, 2016, 02:06:32 AM
Updating the firmware to the latest resolved my problem. I've now got my S9 happily submitting shares through the proxy.

The update had a weird side effect of changing the MAC address on my miner. So after the update I lost contact with the miner. I was afraid that I bricked it until I found that it had been given a new dynamic DHCP address.

Weird...

Glad you worked it out!
Maybe it's a feature, maybe the new MAC is from a different set so that you can see at the first sight what firmware is given device running just from looking at its MAC.

Anyway, I succeeded with lowering the CPU and memory load, the new config options are as I suggested:
Code:
  "disableApi": true,
  "poolHashrateSamplingPeriod" : 2147483,
  "userHashrateSamplingPeriod" : 2147483,
  "connectionHashrateSamplingPeriod" : 2147483,
  "hashrateDatabaseSamplingPeriod": 2147483,
  "hashrateDatabaseHistoryDepth": 0,
and now (after hours of running) the both database files dbpools and dbusers stay untouched at 1422 bytes. So to my great relief I didn't have to actually abuse the source code at all. I also considered some additional flags that perhaps might increase the performance, something like:
Code:
java -d64 -server -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:+AggressiveHeap -jar stratum-proxy.jar
but I actually never got to test it because I managed to compiled the whole thing so I don't run it with java -jar stratum-proxy.jar anymore, but this is very experimental and needs testing so I am not going to describe it just yet.

So I am not sure which of these changes contributed more to the final result but now stratum-proxy is actually taking less memory than eth-proxy (before it was taking twice as much as eth-proxy) and its CPU load is 0%, literally (before it was in tens of %):
Code:
USER       PID  PPID  PR  NI %CPU %MEM    VIRT    RES    SHR   SWAP S TTY          TIME+ WCHAN      COMMAND
root     21613     1  20   0  2.0 13.2  502176 134388  27380    276 S pts/7      1:31.07 ep_poll    ./eth-proxy.exe
root     13122     1  20   0  0.0 10.2 3860096 103096  52044      0 S pts/7      0:02.72 futex_wai+ ./stratum-proxy.exe -f stratum-proxy.conf
(don't mind the .exe suffix, it has nothing to do with Windows; btw I compiled eth-proxy, too, so I don't run it with python eth-proxy.py either)

So I would say a success. When the author comes back from vacation (or whatever) and checks this thread I think he will be pleased.

You're saying trash. You think the people buying accounts dont know how to create it? Nonsense DID... You think Amazon is some simple website. Just bounce out

Run along little scammer kiddo, nobody cares let alone buys your lies and bullshit. Your ignorance is striking yet not really surprising considering your early teen age.

To put an end to this silly failed scam attempt I urge anyone who would even think for 1 second about buying anything from this little wannabe please contact me and I will recommend you a trustworthy forum member who will sell you the real thing for half the price.

Now get out of here, kiddo, once and for all. From now on any of your next nonsense, lie or bullshit will be ignored so feel free to keep at your scamming blah blah blah blah blah, nobody will listen anyway.

What is there to report back about? These are cracked accounts. Either the login still works, for now, or the rightful owner already noticed and changed it.

492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New stratum/getwork proxy with Web-based GUI and pools management on: August 15, 2016, 03:55:45 AM
If there is nothing from the miner after it issued the mining.multi_version request then it's apparently waiting for the response. Maybe a simple non-error response would do, it should be fairly easy to implement in StratumConnection.java and StratumWorkerConnection.java.

But actually maybe you should respond with the error, maybe it is indicating it supports some non-public stratum protocol extensions (which this proxy of course obviously doesn't) so you need to let it know to downgrade itself back.

Maybe it's actually this proxy's bug that it doesn't respond with error to an unknown request and keeps the requester hanging.

Here is some comment hinting it could be something proprietary and here is another hint indicating S9 might be using this way to signal which extension(s) it supports. So the proxy just needs to respond appropriately.

EDIT: if you are up for it you might want to have a look at slush0's stratum-mining-proxy and his stratum implementation to see how that would react in case of an unrecognized request. He invented the whole stratum thing so I suppose that's the best place to look as this java proxy should imitate the same behavior.

Or maybe it would be faster to just try the slush0's proxy and see how it actually behaves and if it does allow your S9 to mine then just sniff their whole convo and implement what's missing into this one.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New stratum/getwork proxy with Web-based GUI and pools management on: August 15, 2016, 03:15:51 AM
I tried using this proxy with my S9 but no shares ever get submitted. The proxy can see the pools and the single user. The S9 can see the proxy.

The only info in the log that might indicate a problem is the following "Unknown request type":

Code:
2016-08-14 18:05:26,523 INFO     [192.168.x.x-Thread]:strat.mining.stratum.proxy.manager.ProxyManager - New WorkerConnection 192.168.x.x subscribed. 1 connections active on pool zpool.
2016-08-14 18:05:26,762 WARN     [192.168.x.x-Thread]:strat.mining.stratum.proxy.network.StratumConnection - Unknown request type on connection 192.168.x.x. methodName: mining.multi_version, id: 2, params: [1]

Note that this is with a stock S9 from batch 3 with no firmware updates. Is a firmware update needed to work with this proxy?

What's there after?

I can imagine you would do that and then use it in an effort to argue that you didn't buy the account, that you are in fact the original owner. Yeah, right. And I am gonna stop bumping your topic, you don't deserve it! Now you will be all forgotten soon and your insecurities will rocket to the sky.

For a reasonable (reasonably low) price.
497  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Amazon AWS EC2 Accounts... on: August 14, 2016, 07:16:59 PM
Well, any newly created AWS account is limited to 2 regions at first. This limitation is only temporary. So if I were you I would just launch a free tier instance in all those accounts and keep some benchmark running in them so that they are not iddling and then just forget it for a month. Then I would simply open a case in the support center and ask for the limitation to be lifted. Once that is done then, again after some days, I would fill the SES form and see what happens. You can always sell them as 2-regions-limited but if you wait a bit and do a tiny little work maybe you will manage to upgrade them into full accounts and their value will rise. That's what I would do if I were you, anyway.

I don't know anything Indian-related so can't help you there, sorry.

If you want to create the AWS accounts yourself then all you need is some identity and a matching vcc and some phone number where you can receive a call and use dtmf. Presumably you don't need a different vcc for every AWS account, the same probably goes for the phone number. When I needed more accounts I just simply opened them in my name and used a different vcc and phone in each of them simply because I have that many vccs and phones but I know it's not necessary. There are legitimate use cases where a person needs multiple accounts because they are running different projects in each of them and they need a separate billing, so they just open another AWS account with the same vcc and phone and I guess a different e-mail address.

But all I am talking about is a normal use, people who do this in bulk are maybe/probably doing things differently.

Thanks for the clarification...
Just out of curiosity, I would like to ask you that what about IP address and system???
I mean I have heard that we need fresh IP address and fresh system every time we make an AWS account, is it true or just a myth???

I think it depends on what identity you use. Just a common sense - if you are making accounts in the name of the same person with the same (physical) address then the IP address should be the same; if it's a different person with a different address every time then the IP should be different. Simply, it should correspond as closely as possible with how it would be if it was genuine, that's just a common sense.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New stratum/getwork proxy with Web-based GUI and pools management on: August 14, 2016, 06:16:50 PM
Too bad that there's no option to simply not log to a file. Java is not my primary language, but I could probably add the feature if the author is OK with receiving patches.

If you want to play with the source code you may as well just do me a favor and remove all *hashrate* and *sampling* functions and turn this into a true gui-less headless daemon so that I don't have to do it myself. Of course you would have to turn it into a daemon to begin with as for now it's just an ordinary foreground program. And while you are at it just rewrite it into some normal language like c.

But seriously, what would be probably generally appreciated by everybody would be to split the gui part from the daemon part. Oh well..

Joking aside, it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to have an option for headless mode. But if the fundamental performance problems can be overcome by options tuning, that would be more pragmatic.

Have you had any luck by increasing the sampling periods and reducing history depth? I saw that recommendation on the zpool thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260863.msg15723592;topicseen#msg15723592

I haven't got to try it yet but I checked the source code for what min/max values can be and all the *-sampling-period ones can be set up to 2147483, which means it would make one sample every 24 days, and the *-history-depth can be set to 0 which means that whenever the data is to be written all the previous data will be deleted. But it seems to be easier and cleaner to just physically delete all that hashing/samping/whatever redundant code and then delete all references to it. I just want proxying which this tool does flawlessly. There is only slush0's stratum-mining-proxy that I found that could/should/would work (with Lyra2RE with Nicehash; my use case) but it doesn't have any option for a failsafe server which I think is quite important feature so I would like to stick with this program, just without all those bells and whistles that I don't need nor want.
499  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: (WTS) Over 20 AmazonSES AWS Accounts for Sale - 50k Sending Limit Approved on: August 14, 2016, 06:12:53 PM
For your records, neteller vcc doesnt work with AWS anymore. and all those voip phone numbers have never worked for AWS. Stop sounding like you know jack about this... i can guaranteed you that if you request for increase 20 times this week, you'll be rejected 20 times. Just keep quite and bounce out of here.

Of course Neteller vcc does work with AWS, I opened 3 accounts with it several days ago, and you apparently don't have the slightest clue what a DID number is. Stop your lies and bullshit and get out of here, you little pretentious scammer kiddo.
500  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Amazon AWS EC2 Accounts... on: August 14, 2016, 06:00:59 PM
If you kept those 2-regions-limited ones until they mature into the full accounts you could make more money off them. And if you got them SES approved you could make even more off them, plus you would drive away this scammer. Just saying.

How do they mature full???
I am sorry I don't know how to create these accounts, I just use them...
PM me with the method if you can help, also, if possible, let me know how can I go ahead with everything Indian, I mean phone, system, card, etc...
I don't know how to get it SES approved too, please share it with me and I will give you a share if I get them approved the same...
Please PM me with everything, I am now interested in creating it myself instead of buying them...
Will sell my own accounts if I get them created the way you said... Smiley
