481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Crypto Whales Move 318,649 BTC Worth $3 Billion * the bitcoin cafe on: October 17, 2019, 12:19:30 PM
It is hard to speculate whether which this bitcoins came from, who is the sender and where it is being sent it isa an anonymous transaction to be short. We aren't sure that those bitcoins belongs to a whale or just an exchange transfering some funds.
the beauty of this tech to move so large amount without banks/paypal/other shit..
To add to that, the fact that transferring those bitcoins with a hundred millions of dollar value and just pay approx $400 for fees are extremely fascinating. You can't do that using a bank or some remittance centers and many more payment processors/forwarding servicing out now.
As mentioned above this was not from the exchange and this belongs to a big whale. We have something to be kept watching from now on.

That's no joke, that's a huge amount, I'd be really surprised if someone was able to gather so many coins without being known, they'd either have to be a huge miner or a massive buyer. Even for early days of Bitcoin that's a ton of coins.
Maybe this person is really saving bitcoin since before, a miner or what we do not know how he gather that huge amount of btc, and he is waiting for the right time to make a move, transferring it to a safe place where he can still be able to stay anonymous.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: October 17, 2019, 10:57:07 AM
And after 5 years, why on earth are you still keeping anything on exchanges?

And how people will make trade day if they don't have coins in the exchanges?

I think you now have to move bitcoin from all other exchanges into one wallet so you can easily invest with bitcoin and to avoid huge costs compared to using only one bitcoin wallet, maybe if we look in the coming year bitcoin will definitely go up with high prices and you can have a little opit with bitcoin

Have you ever thought that bitcoin may fall instead of rising in price?

Have you ever thought that day trading is another option to increase more bitcoins or increase more dollars?

Many people can talk about Hold, Hold, that the price will reach $ 100,000 in 3 years, other people believe that the price will reach $ 500,000... but these people are not absolutely sure that the price will increase, they are just Trying to guess. That is why Hold's strategy should be taken very carefully because it may be the case that the price falls too much instead of rising or it may be the case that the price just increases slightly and stagnates in the same place.
All investors including those people who believe in bitcoin were not able to guess or to predict what will happen in bitcoin in the future. They tend to hold their investment because they have high hopes on it.
Hold strategy might actually become the downfall of bitcoin, but we can't actually say that for now. Most of the investors of bitcoin are actually holding for a long time but we can still see the increase in price of bitcoin.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: October 17, 2019, 09:57:47 AM
Hello traders. What's your opinion could BTC kill banking system? Bitcoin has an advantage over fiatbecause its amount is limited and it can't fall under inflation.Inflation usually is caused by monetary policies of our central banks. Bitcoin is free from inflation, governement control and  high transaction fees.Banks can’t control BTC because it has no representative and is fully decentralized. That's why banks are afraid of BTC.
How do you expect Bitcoin to kill the banking system when less than 1% of the total number of people living on earth know about Bitcoin and the remaining 99% have no idea what Bitcoin is and the purpose of it in the financial ecosystem. There is no way Bitcoin can kill the banking system. It is a silly idea to even think about this..
That's right, you say, even now when only 1% of the world's population uses cryptocurrency, already foreign currency assets are of great importance for the banking system. We will wait 3-5 years and see how everything will change in the cryptocurrency market for the better.
I don't think crypto will kill banks, I think they can merge and unite as one as we are rapidly moving as we have some banks who are now accepting crypto already here in our country.  For sure banks will continue to develop and they can see the potential of cryotocurrencies. For sure, in 3-5 years there are lots of cryptobanks already.
Possibilities for this to happen is high.
If there will be no complications to happen in the future, crypto can use banks and vice versa. Banks can be used as a third party to change fiat to cryptocurrency, banks can create and manage bitcoin atm that can be accessed anywhere if this will be implemented. Banks are not afraid of crypto, they do believe that crypto cant kill fiat as long as we are in need of physical money.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 17, 2019, 09:13:58 AM
One of the reasons why people fall into scam so easily is the desire to earn money, which in turn comes from want. Most of these people hope that in life there will be a chance that will help them become financially independent. They often accept scammers' offers for the very chance they have been waiting for. Scammers, in turn, are happy to make such promises. Critical thinking in these cases is almost turned off and the person goes directly into the trap.

That's how greedy a human can be,
In part of scammers they will keep building new set of attracting offers which can directly affects the thinking of the investors. They are good in this aspects as they keep practicing the effectiveness of this tricks before completely exposing it to their plan targets.
In part of investors, they have been falling to this idea several times but never learned and still keeps trying to find their luck in hope to change their life in quick and easy ways.

We can't call it being greedy, but it is a desire which every individual always does. Having a desire to earn money to support our daily life is something you cannot call greediness.
Scammers are taking advantage of that reason, they focus on the soft part of every investor to assure that their trick is effective as they can get the investment of their target investors.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why it is important to lose Bitcoin to an incorrect wallet address on: October 17, 2019, 01:12:48 AM
I believe many of us has lost the precious Bitcoin at some point.
A lot of this loses could be traced back to wrong wallet addresses on the part of the sender (more reason you should double check the address before sending).

At some point you mistakingly sent Bitcoin to an ERC-20 wallet or sent it to an incorrect wallet.

Either ways, the coin becomes lost.

In times like this thoughts like this set in, "why is there no provision for recovering lost Bitcoin?

My answer to this might sound inconsiderate, but...

It is a good thing you lost it, and it's a good thing it cannot be recovered.
Maybe you will be more careful next time Wink
What is good about losing your bitcoin? Bitcoin is a very valuable digital currency that almost everyone wants to have,so if you have it you should be careful in making your every transactions. The good thing if you lost bitcoin it will reduce the number of supply and it makes the value increase. You need to check your bitcoin wallet address multiple times before sending bitcoins so that you will not lose your coin.
sending it in an incorrect wallet will never be a good and also it is not important.
It may be true that the circulating supply will decreased but money is money. We should not let it put to waste. We should be careful everytime we are sending funds to another wallet.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 16, 2019, 01:04:09 PM
I disagree, common thing they do is to steal identity from other people. Scammer dont actually use their real information to do illegal things, they prefer to avoid any issues and complications. I dont see any reason for them to use their real identity in a way that they can buy fake identification in the black market which we all know that most of scammers are doing this.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: October 16, 2019, 12:21:10 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!

everyone has the same goal if they invest in one of their chosen altcoins which is to make a profit, about time according to the wishes of these people and you cannot force them to make investments according to what you think, because everyone has a different way and style of investment, Especially when the price of altcoin that we buy drops dramatically, then we have to wait a long time until the price of altcoin is back up so we can sell and benefit from it.
Exactly, all investors are after of making a profit out of their investment. If an investor will just sell it even after a little percentage of profit, but that profit is not worth it for their waiting time, it wont be enough.
Investors are after for a maximum profit as possible, they have invested the amount of money that they can risk, forcing them just because they might starve to death for waiting too long, its their choice.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 16, 2019, 11:39:03 AM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?

The hype train is sleeping but it does not mean that cryptocurrency is dying. Without the hype the volatility is still there and the market is still going on. Still trillions of dollars are being invested in cryptocurrency and that is why as long as people continue to use and trade cryptocurrency it will continue to survive. If cryptocurrency will be gone it will be not now but maybe a number of decades in the future.
Indeed, crypto will not die due to its current situation. Its price is decreasing but it doesnt mean that it will never woke up from below. Bullish market is yet to come, we will see bullish market again soon but for now, dont ever think that crypto will die anytime soon due to this reason. Crypto is an investment that existed over a decade. It wont last until today if it is just a bubble.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Claim the #2 Position? on: October 16, 2019, 10:57:49 AM
First, XRP is not a cryptocurrency, and it has no place in this market. This is a common coin of the banking sector. I do not think that it will shift Etherium to the 3rd place, it will be very difficult. ETH is also not standing still

XRP has its place in the market, even if you won't consider XRP as a cryptocurrency we can't deny that it has the capability to claim the top 2 as it did last 2018. He replaced XRP because it shows an outstanding improvement it does last year. ETH is also good crypto but XRP is competing with it and they are both showing their improvement for the past years.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: October 16, 2019, 08:55:20 AM
I think these problems stem from the desire to make money in health, instead of having to work hard for 10 hours a day! Margin games, gambling, etc. caused many investors to lose their assets. The risk is too great, if you know how to control it, it will be okay.
Which is we all know that the desire of his brother is wrong. Gambling will never be a solution to their problem. His eagerness just give the whole family the chaos.
He tried to use gambling as a solution which is risky, he should have done other stuff than spending all his money. Gambling will never give anyone a fortune, we all know that no one can become a millionaire in gambling once you have addicted on it.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's going to get harder for alts to list on the big exchanges on: October 16, 2019, 05:00:23 AM
See the following:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/09/30/bitcoin-giants-coinbase-circle-kraken-bittrex-grayscale-and-others-band-together-to-rate-tokens/#68441bac7a01

Quote
Now, bitcoin trading and investment giants Anchorage, Bittrex, Circle, Coinbase, DRW Cumberland, Genesis, Grayscale, and Kraken have banded together to create the Crypto Rating Council in order to better decide which digital assets can and cannot be traded on their platforms.

The group have created what they call a "scalable, points-based rating system" to help define whether a cryptocurrency is or is not a security.

The system will use a set of several dozen questions, "derived directly from SEC guidance and case law."

"We also worked hard to focus our framework on objective, repeatable, fact-driven questions that can be answered consistently by technical experts across different assets and over time," Coinbase wrote in a blog post announcing the council.

The system will give bitcoin and similar digital tokens a score between one and five, with a score of one meaning the council’s independent analysis suggests the asset has few or no characteristics consistent with a traditional regulated security.

So in addition to paying them a lot to get listed, the developers of new alts need to jump through these new opaque hoops.

This is the time where the DEX will be the best choice of developers to list their token but that is if the token then was created on Ethereum smart contract, I read that Mcafee created a DEX that can satisfy the needs of developers and traders, let's see how this goes after the implementation.
Dex is a good exchange but it lacks of volumes and also users. Everyone can use DEX due to without needing to undergo kyc, and it is user friendly, also the payment needed to enter on the Dex exchange is less cheaper than any popular exchanges.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Didi sold everything for Bitcoin on: October 16, 2019, 03:47:55 AM
This guy is a bitcoin fanatic and is super bullish or maybe he wanted to be a billionaire and so he sold everything he have for bitcoin. He gambled with his future and spend everything on bitcoin. If bitcoin will increase in value by the coming years then he will be very rich but if its the other way around then he will be forever poor and will become homeless.
This is the type of guy who are not afraid to face the risk, he trusted bitcoin so much, he can risk all his assets to bet on bitcoin.
Few years from now this guy will be a millionaire, he did not made a mistake for this, investing in bitcoin is the best decision to be made at this moment.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: October 16, 2019, 12:25:35 AM
A transparent project team is the one which feed its community with all the needed information about the project and its progress without keeping none as secret. Transparent projects allows its community members to feel free and ask questions in the telegram group and in a calm and professional way answers them.
Transparent team also gives any update to the community regarding the improvement and development that has been done with the project. The community is given all the needed information of the team to confirm if they are real, and also the future plans of the project.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: October 15, 2019, 12:06:22 PM
I personally have a reason to buy new tokens or coins to invest. With notes, their tokens really do look potentially, and do more research so as not to buy the wrong token / coin. If I did not choose the wrong investment, then the benefits will I get.
We all have our own reason, but its fundamental is the same, to make a profit. Making a profit is the reason why we buy new coins, new coins can be use to earn a good profit just by waiting for the immediate traders to dumo their coins. Buying at bearish market is one of the way to buy a lot of coins and sell it at bull market.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: October 15, 2019, 10:43:18 AM
To date, many cryptocurrency users are fleeing the market and selling all their assets, but some still remain and will necessarily carry out the reconstruction of their portfolio.  The fact that today they are getting rid of some altcoins is, first of all, to say that they are getting rid of bad coins in their opinion.  Perhaps it is at this time that the cryptocurrency market is being corrected, after which bad coins will no longer be in demand in the market.
It is to be expected that they'd rather sell their assets for now and go for another investment that can give them more profit. They'll go for a better altcoin to invest, most of traders/holders did it already.
The same goes for me, I sold my coins even if its not that profitable, but I prefer to sell it immediately to go for a better investment which is that popular crypto.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: October 15, 2019, 10:01:53 AM
Nowadays there are many projects, it is not easy to judge on new project, good or not, some people think the ico rating websites may help to take your decision, others think this ICO rating websites provide fake rating due to new project can pay fees to this ICO websites and get high rating.
SO, If you find good project, is it important to you this new good project should be listed in ICO rating websites?

Appreciate your participation

I think everyone has their own way of choosing a project before participating in it, some people make the ICO rating a good or bad consideration for the ICO project, but it is true that you say sometimes there is a fake ICO rating. For me personally, this can sometimes be taken into consideration but I also make observations on the project that was brought and the team behind it to make decisions later.

Yes, and ico rating in websites does not guarantee the success of an ico. Most of them are still failing and being a scam project in the end.
The legitimacy of the project is still in the hands of its developers, ico ratings are just being paid to advertise the new launch project.
We should not use it as a basement to choose a project whether it is legit or not.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How i keep my private keys safe without hardware wallet on: October 15, 2019, 03:52:21 AM
Where ever you keep your private keys, it is fine, just don't keep it on online storage like email or cloud or something.
Keep your private keys stored offline, and encrypt it with password. With this way, even if there is someone steal your files contains private keys,
they will need time to brute force the encrypted files.
After doing that make sure not to use this storage online keep it as offline storage from that point it will be more safer. You need to learn that hackers
are waiting for any opportunities so you need to think the same way. Preventing anyone to access your offline storage and make sure to have a paper copy
of your private keys in case something wrong happen to your machine you still have other way to access it.
Yes, because once the hackers get any information even a little, they can easily hacked the wallet anytime. They are just waiting for any crypto users to make a mistake and leaked any information from their wallet, and they will attack as fast as they can.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: October 15, 2019, 01:17:06 AM
You can identify with scam crypto with low trusted of investor with this altcoin, many altcoin although success on listing with big exchange market after faced problem by owner and government regulation at their country will make price down and become scam altcoin, you have sell before price dump and altcoin delist from exchange market.
That is a possible way, but this too gets overcome by scammers giving perfection. Identifying scams is really a big task, it needs more learning, even the experts fail at times. This is all because of the project outline and the way it is taken forward. I go with projects that give regular updates through all possible means and the participation of the senior team people on different conferences and meetings conducted worldwide having relation with cryptocurrency market.
It also need further investigation to determine if a project is scam or not.
Most of the projects are building a solid platform to hide their true intention, they will do everything to gather investors and they will build a community to support the project.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 14, 2019, 01:56:56 PM
I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...

maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...
I hope I'm not mistaken about this.
This is a common scenario in bounty campaign, they always promise their community a better project that no one ever was. Giving their investors and bounty participants an impossible promise.
Most of bounty projects are just the same, they are all after the investors money, choosing a project should take more time to avoid scam projects.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 14, 2019, 01:08:25 PM
Investing with bitcoin is not mistake but you have invest when bitcoin price down, now you want to invest with bitcoin is very good time when bitcoin still lower price, never invest with something on cryptocurrency when price on the top because you lost your chance to get profit and price will be down, but if you want to invest at higher price and keep take profit it have less chance to see your investment assets will back to higher price.
Yeah, I have seen many considering that they have made a mistake by investing in BTC as they invested when the crypto was at its peak. Since the market is going from the hard times they go for panic selling to make their way back out of the market thereby losing a lot of money. There's a misconception that you can become a millionaire overnight by entering into crypto. Well, crypto is something that evolves with time and requires a lot of patience. It doesn't matter at what price you invested in it as if you have patience then you'll surely get what you deserve...

Investing should be more of like investing for future purposes, buying at its peak can be considered as a mistake but buying bitcoin is not. Its an individual mistake that commonly commits by newbies, this is somehow the good experience for them to understand and realize when and how to invest in bitcoin. Patience will be tested if an investor invested at its peak, once you conquer it, you'll see the fruit of long term investment.
