did you ever find a resolution to this?
Yeah, He found a solution to this. He now runs a litecoin pool. Mind sharing what you did to get the shares db populating, I see a lot of people having similar issues.

Nice job dude.. any idea when I can monitor all the remote servers, I have to manually always vpn into them to see what they are doing.. :/

"stmt.sharelog" : "INSERT INTO shares (rem_host, username, our_result, upstream_result, reason, solution) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)" I see this a lot, and with simplecoin I see this shares db, but for some reason im not getting any inserts, is this query wrong, how can this be debugged.. ?

looks like your pushpool cant connect to bitcoind, are you running bitcoind (already synchronized) before pushpool?
its resolved... my rpc password for bitcoin.conf and server.json some reason had some weird random chrs in it that would cause auth to not happen.. ..

does pushpool and bitcoind work on the same server? Im getting this when trying to start pushpool netcom@u12:/opt/pushpool$ sbin/pushpoold -E -F [2013-05-01 21:46:3.812277] Listening on host :: port 8336 [2013-05-01 21:46:3.814084] Listening on host :: port 8337 [2013-05-01 21:46:3.814468] tcp bind: Address already in use any updates, progress or other alternatives ? ah, netcom. that was first commercial internet provider in DFW area outside of the crap hourly stuff like compuserve.... but back then in 1990 or so, you could still freeload off of 1/2 the universities anyway, or at least telnet out from their login interface (have some friend at a uni give you a shell acct or something). there were a few exceptions, like at the superconducting supercollider, you could log on directly to their VAX (sscvx1.ssc.gov) with a guest account for the question did you change your pushpool "requests to us" to the same port that bitcoin uses? if so, you shouldnt have. I remember netcom, I actually was living in Dallas at the time working in the video game industry.. but yea thats not what im using I was able to figure it out because in the server.json their are two binding addresses for JSON-RPC.. if you leave them both in you get that issue, it wasnt really clear to me at first and nothing in the docs talk about it from what I could read

Hey, I just set this up on a VM image and seem to have most things set up, but when I try to log in with the account I created, it acts like it didnt log me in.. and it still says welcome guest at the top.. next issue when viewing the stats page (of course not logged in I see this in my apache error log). [Thu May 02 20:29:35 2013] [error] [client 172.18.1.240] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught BitcoinClientException: [0]: Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found)\n\n thrown in on line 0, referer: http://172.18.251.190/index [Thu May 02 20:29:35 2013] [error] [client 172.18.1.240] File does not exist: /var/www/images/head_index_left_bg.jpg, referer: http://172.18.251.190/stats PushPool is running.. and I can see in the debug log that its spitting out data. next up is in pushpool i see alot of people adding "stmt.sharelog" : "INSERT INTO shares (rem_host, username, our_result, upstream_result, reason, solution) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)" but that doesn't seem to push any shares into the db.. and yea above my db settings are correct.. so im a bit stuck at the moment. things I did per read me, adjusted the $includeDirectory, these seem to be only listed in cronjob folder Imported sql, checked verified via phpmyadmin tables where, created a user, verified it was in the db, unable to log in.. any thoughts?

Pushpool newbie and thanks for creating this hope you add to it.. I was unsable to see where the mysql data base tables are for setting up the db.. the only thing I have is the pool worker which has user and pass.. in the github section I didnt see any .sql files or missed anything about table creation.. next issue.. I have bitcoind running, and have pushpull running as far as I can tell, Im connecting cgminer to my pool via cgminer -o 172.18.251.190:8337 -u abc -p 123 (this is whats in the push pull db) In the pushpull log im seeing: > POST / HTTP/1.1 Authorization: Basic xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Host: 127.0.0.1:8332 Accept: */* Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip Content-type: application/json Content-Length: 46

Im seeing the same errors, I also found out that for example the block table was not being updated and I needed to add a COMMIT after the INSERT INTO call to make it work, Im gonna check the code and add COMMIT after all the INSERT INTO and check how it works.
Also Im working on modify the code to make it multilanguage using language templates so its easier to translate.
Let me know when you do, I put this aside temp since the thread seemed dead :/ Sure I like this frontend as its the only one I managed to get working without needing to do a lot of things, sad that is seems uncontinued and with a couple of bugs, I will try get some free time to review the full code but in the meantime Im gonna do those changes to get the DB working propertly and the start reading and modifying for the multilenguage version If anyone wants to help everything is welcome hehe My idea was to get it up and running see how it functions, then build all custom modules for a drupal 7 version.. aka custom modules that you can plug into drupal and display in the various blocks themeing layers and take advantage of drupals out of the box front end for users, permissions etc. Would be willing to work with someone to translate the code into a more flexible system.

Does it push 1400 in one card for $100 I dont think so.. Im guessing maybe 800+ maybe??
I think you forgot an extra zero.. $1000. With some tweaking and undervolting, I'd be willing it hit 1.2GH/s. to quick to type.. $100 would be a steal !

Ok I feel dumb but how do you >> you have to be able to sign messages with address used for the payment of the chips!<< ??
Is their some way in the wallet to generate some signed sig, aka like public key.. or how do you go about this.. I did email you but didnt get any reply so I must of did something wrong..
I was in the first batch of chips that where ordered.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7990-review-benchmark,3486.htmlNo details on BTC Mining, which I think should be a standard in card reviews these days So no really telling how much it will push, my current set of 7970's push around 660-710 depending on card, stability and settings. Does it push 1400 in one card for $1000 I dont think so.. Im guessing maybe 800+ maybe?? Anyhow mine on..

I'm thinking of picking up some Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition boards cause I think by default they are clocked at 1100, my sapphire ones are 1000 which I push to 1150 ish.. anyone have any thoughts about the Gigabyte card?

Nice setup.. what risers did you end up getting? Hows the 1200 watt power supply holding up?

The Quad V7 TAI Logic Module can hold designs up to 80M ASIC gates with four Xilinx Vitex-7 2000T FPGA devices and has two on-board DDR3 SO-DIMM sockets and two on-board DDR2 SO-DIMM sockets to meet a variety of high-speed memory applications. The Quad V7 TAI Logic Module supports 48 channels of high speed Gigabit transceivers capable of running up to 10Gbps for a variety of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, SATA and XAUI. In addition to our existing USB2.0 port for our popular runtime software features such as FPGA download, programmable clock generation and self-test, the new Quad V7 TAI Logic Module now supports these runtime features through Ethernet cable so you can control your FPGA hardware remotely. S2C has also added a number of new runtime features such as I/O voltage setting and clock frequency read back through software control.
http://www.s2cinc.com/product/HardWare/V7TAILogicModule.htmhttp://www.s2cinc.com/product/HardWare/images/quad_fontcheck.gifOf course I couldnt find any prices on them but would guess a few thousand or even more, the unique thing is that they can easly be stacked.

You could dump the 3rd card and get 2 7970's.. they each can pump out around 660-710 or more depending on card, unlocked voltage and how you feel about overclocking.. would prob save you about $100
