481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 08, 2022, 04:44:43 PM
Against Spence, let's see if he can make a way to beat the heavy favorite. He is more of eager to win here since he has a target. However, Spence won't surely give him an easy fight. Can't wait for that day to see them clashing with each other.
The fight for the unification of the title spence and ugas became one of the favorite spectacles worth waiting for this year, after a long absence due to experiencing problems with the retina of the eye, spence will try to fight for three world welterweight titles, I personally might see more if spence will can win the fight later because apart from fighting at home, spence has an unbeaten record in 27 fights and that makes me very confident to bet on spence win over ugas.

Manchester City have secured 6 points from their weekend game-winning after the trashed Manchester United in the match so am left to wonder if Manchester United will be able to change their position in this stage of the premier leagues as they performance keep dropping with less goals scores.
manchester united has a difficult rest of the season for now, apart from their performance which keeps changing every week, manchester also has remaining matches against big teams which will definitely make it difficult for them to penetrate the champions league next season, I'm not pessimistic but it looks like next season manchester will be knocked out of the champions league.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 08, 2022, 12:18:16 PM
Yes, but maybe in the end he doesn't even care about winning the Scudetto. What big teams want is money, so go to the Champions League.
Perhaps Atalanta fails this year, it would be a shame. Too much tough competition.

Tell that to Arsenal fans and club owners though,,, who went to Champions League every year for so long and made so much profits but never won the league again. Everyone got so angry they kicked the good old Wenger out.

No Italian team does not want to win Scudetto in a season where Juventus is weak. I believe for every team, trophies are nice and great but you are measured by history in your domestic league wins.

The team ability to win the trophy really depends on the finances and also the mentality of the club, so far I think all teams competing in the league will target the trophy but of course to become title competitors they must have a qualified squad and of course that requires big money, that's why we see that teams that have strong finances tend to be favorites to championship, but indeed sometimes mentality also has a strong influence in this case, especially if a team is more likely to have a business mentality than achievement, of course it will hinder the club won the trophy.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Can current sanctions Ruble inflation stop Russia? on: March 08, 2022, 09:21:37 AM

But can that stop Russia? During world wars, they survived with water, vodka and bread.

can, but for some reason. for the long term sanctions will make russia the worst. but if the war can be finished in the near future and some of the allied countries are still solid, it will have no effect. Whatever happens, I hope this war ends. in the end both countries experienced difficulties, regardless of who won or lost later. if the war lasts long this will cause bigger problems.

The current sanctions may weaken the Russian economy, but I don't think the impact of these sanctions will have a long-term effect on Russia, especially since we know that Russia is an important country that supplies minerals, gas and oil to Europe, so if they divert supplies to other countries,  such as China or its allied countries, of course, their economy will slowly recover, and I actually see a bigger impact that Europe might get later if they don't lift the existing sanctions, because it is clear they will have difficulty getting gas, oil and raw materials for production industrial  in Europe, 30% of which comes from Russia.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 08, 2022, 09:11:48 AM
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona both did a great job last week. Barcelona played first against Elche in an away game. And they won by 2-1 despite being 1-0 behind first. Barcelona made a fascinating effort again and deserved to win this game. This win helped them reach the third position before the Betis vs Atletico Madrid game. And the result of that game was really surprising to me. I was expecting a draw more than a victory for one of them. But Atletico Madrid were having a good day and won by 3-1. But this still didn't affect Barcelona and they kept their position in the league standings.
Currently the competition in maintaining the top 4 positions is getting very tight, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, which at the beginning of the season left quite far from the Champions League zone, it turns out that they are now able to occupy positions 3 and 4, looking at the remaining matches that are owned by Sevilla, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, it looks like an opportunity barcelona to shift sevilla from position 2 is still wide open if barcelona are able to maintain their game performance, but in my opinion the current four teams are the ideal team to penetrate the champions league next season and I hope there will be no change in position until the end of the season.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 08, 2022, 09:00:40 AM
Manchester United still have a lot of difficult games ahead of them.  It doesn't look rosy for United. It's difficult to see where United salvation will be coming from. They don't have a chance to qualify for the Uefa champions league.  Arsenal is a point ahead and they still have three games in hand if they win their games . Two of those games are against Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea. It is very possible Arsenal can lose points to Chelsea or Tottenham
Arsenal chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season are clearly bigger than Manchester, apart from currently having  1 point difference with Manchester, Arsenal also still have 2 postponed matches which allow them to leave the other top 4 competitors if they are able to get a win from the 2 postponed matches, but what makes me a little doubtful about Arsenal is that they sometimes play quite badly against big teams and that's why I doubt if arsenal can achieve full point ness against tottenham and chelsea in the postponed match later.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: March 08, 2022, 08:49:52 AM
Is it a good time to buy now? It looks like the bears have subsided. 30k resistance point is still holding strong. What do you guys think?
Btcoin is still in a weak condition at the moment, although it has experienced a slight increase from the previous price but I see if the bitcoin price is still heavily influenced by geopolitics that is happening in ukraine today, geopolitics that is still heating up continues to raise concerns for investors, given the current state of affairs there is now, maybe I will wait more before entering the market and hope to get bitcoin at a cheaper price.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 07, 2022, 03:47:12 PM
The team did not improve under the supervision of Ralf Rangnick. On the contrary, the performance of the Manchester United team has deteriorated further. Basically now I can't find any match strategy for them. The players are performing as they please. They have no connection with each other. Their understanding is not good. The coach was responsible for creating bonds between the players. He failed. So we don't see any improvement in United's performance.

It looks like United's management made a huge mistake when instead of "an inexperienced maybe interim manager" they hired another interim manager. Even if United manage to get some of the top coaches in the summer, it could turn out that the players have already forgotten how to be disciplined and how to behave under tough management, this is fraught with problems within the team.

Manchester United should have given opportunity for Carrick at that time to prove his worthiness as interim coach, so Manchester United doesn't have to waste a lot of money to just bring in Ralf Rangnick who also acts as interim coach now, Ralf Rangnick arrival doesn't have a better impact now than Solskjaer, even Worse yet Ralf Rangnick seems to have a less harmonious relationship with some Manchester players as happened with Ronaldo.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 07, 2022, 03:34:16 PM
Yesterday Barcelona played against Elche and won with great difficulty despite the fact that Elche is one of the worst teams in La Liga. I see that Barcelona still have a huge problem with efficiency in attack - they create a lot of chances but convert only some of them. Well, their defense is also not perfect. Therefore, I would not argue that Barcelona will easily beat Galatasaray.
Barcelona does have a difficult match in La Liga this week, a narrow victory over Elche should be a reference for Xavi to make their defense more solid before the match against Galatasaray starts, but I am quite pleased to see Barcelona journey this season which initially slumped but overall Slowly Xavi began to fix Barcelona as a whole, and as a result we can see if Barcelona are unbeaten in the last eight matches in all competitions. After the arrival of aubameyang, barcelona managed to make their attack very sharp but as you said, if xavi should have also prioritized their defense which was a bit fragile at this time, and it was proven by barcelona often conceding due to a defense that was not well organized.

491  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Invasion is affecting Sports Economy. on: March 04, 2022, 11:05:44 PM
It's the consequence of the invasion that they did to Ukraine. World Cup and as well as other big events made their decision.

Russia banned from World Cup, other major sports competitions amid war in Ukraine

Both currently are totally hit with their economy but soon, with these sanctions will surely hit more on Russia's side which includes majority sporting events.

Of course, each sanction will have its own impact on a country, but I think the sporting sanctions will probably not be too stressful for Russia, if the world football federation bans Russia from participating in the world cup just because it invaded Ukraine less than a week ago, then what about countries that have and are still invading other countries like America and Israel?
Can it be left without getting sanctions like what Russia is getting now, Or  are their really exempt from the sanctions that have existed so far?
492  Economy / Economics / Re: What economic sanctions will US impose on Russia on: March 04, 2022, 10:50:52 PM
Clearly we haven’t done enough in sanctions to deter Putin from further war. He’s clearly expected these sanctions to happen and he may be crazy, but he’s not stupid, surely he knew that these types of sanctions were not only coming but that they would stick around for quite some time. So therefore in my opinion we really need to start ramping these up.

Russia has received a lot of sanctions now from various European countries, but as far as I can see it doesn't seem like the sanctions have affected Russia in any way, maybe now Europe is also starting to doubt if the sanctions they impose on Russia can stop Russia from invading Ukraine, and even now Russia is getting crazy by continuing to add military troops to Ukraine.
Talking about the sanctions imposed by Europe, I think these sanctions will actually make Europe difficult later, because their may lose the main suppliers of oil and gas and the main raw materials (minerals) for industries in Europe.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 04, 2022, 10:10:19 PM
The second leg of the Champions League is now only a few days away but in my opinion there are already several teams that are certain to qualify now like Chelsea, Liverpool and City.
Even though there is some speculation about them but I am very sure these 3 teams will definitely qualify because apart from being superior in terms of players they are also now superior in terms of Aggregate which makes it difficult for their opponents at this time.
With a result like this, I'm actually quite sure that the UCL Trophy will be brought back by the EPL club this season
The three PL teams managed to win quite convincingly in the first leg of the champions league, I think both teams (Inter Milan and Lille) still have a small chance of qualifying, I think maybe Intermilan and Lille will be able to surprise us all and maybe later They will make a comeback in the 2nd leg match, in my opinion the only PL team that can be certain that they have already qualified is Manchester City at this time, because it seems impossible for sporting to score 6-0   to Manchester City goal in the second leg.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 04, 2022, 09:58:13 PM
The match between inter milan and salernitana has ended, intermilan managed to get a pretty big win i.e. 5 goals without conceding, today inter milan managed to get 3 points again and managed to get revenge on avenging a humiliating defeat to sassuolo and also score 0-0  against genoa last week, a win This makes Inter Milan managed to shift the position of Naples at the top of the standings, their are at the top of the current standings with 58 points and are only 1 point ahead of Napoli and Milan which are below them.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 04, 2022, 09:43:32 PM
United is tracking Rudiger's Chelsea situation, apparently as Maguire's replacement. Rangnick is supporting him publicly but he's made too many mistakes and United needs another senior player at CB anyway.
Rudiger would be cheap since his contract is expiring but it remains to be seen if he would not switch to Manchester due to loyalty to Chelsea. Somehow I doubt it though.

The other option mentioned is Barca's Araujo, he's having a really good season there.

That's an interesting development but don't know why but I think Rudiger will move to some place other than PL. I am glad to see him getting good offers I read somewhere about Madrid taking interest in him. We will get to know his next team only if he leaves Chelsea and there is still scope of contract extension. Chelsea are trying to get to defender demands but so far it is reported that he has been rejecting all the offers offered till now.
Rudiger is the most vital player that chelsea has in their defense besides Thiago Silva, so far Chelsea and Rudiger continue to find a dead end in reaching an agreement on a contract extension, Rudiger demands for a big salary are the reason why both parties are difficult to reach an agreement, now PSG and Madrid are two big clubs who really want Rudiger and I think a club that can offer a big salary is likely to get Rudiger next season, it looks like this season will be last season for Rudiger at Chelsea, especially now Chelsea are starting to approach some players who plays as a defender to fill the hole left by Rudiger next season.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 04, 2022, 02:53:16 PM
Competition still continues in the Premier League, how hard work from Liverpool still overshadows Manchester City who are at the top of the standings. I don't think 6 points is far enough, moreover Liverpool still have one game left and that is their hope to be closer to Manchester City. Meanwhile, Chelsea had to be satisfied that they were slightly displaced from the title race due to the unsatisfactory results they got.

Currently, the competition to take 1st place will be very tight, Liverpool, who were far behind some time ago, were finally able to approach Manchester City today, both teams are required to no longer lose points in the remaining matches and the real test of Manchester City this week is to face their city rivals, even though Manchester united is in bad form but manchester city should not underestimate them later, especially so far manchester united has a better record when the two manchester teams are competing against each other.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 04, 2022, 02:00:47 PM
Was so much disappointed with the way the Liverpool and inter Milan game ended ( Inter 0 - 2 Liverpool) with the scoreline you will think inter Milan did not try but they did, they were better than Liverpool almost all through the game until the the introduction of firmino and Luis Diaz, that substitution change the game and Liverpool won that match, with that scoreline I doubt if inter Milan still have hope
Two goals is not an easy thing for Inter Milan to chase, so it makes sense to say that Inter Milan have lost hope of turning things around, especially the team they face Liverpool, as we can see at the moment Liverpool are in a positive situation in the Premier League and League Champions.
Inter's chances to turn things around are now very slim.
Although Inter Milan still have a chance in the second leg later, but I think their chances of qualifying for the next round are quite small, currently Inter Milan need a miracle to be able to chase two goals at least to equalize the score at Anfield, but as we know, Liverpool are currently in quite good especially if they play at anfield, of course liverpool get great motivation to beat whoever the opponent is.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 04, 2022, 01:55:12 PM
Canelo is the one who has advantage on this coming match versus Bivol in my opinion. Other than his experience in boxing which is more than Bivol, Canelo is a power punching with his impressive footwork and traps that lure his opponent to enter his reach and then Canelo would deliver the combinations with counterpunch as a knockout move if delivered good in his opponent.

Bivol is indeed a pretty good boxer, moreover he is now the king of light heavyweight since 2017 and I think his experience in boxing of course can't be doubted, even so Alvarez is also a boxer who has quite good technique in defending and attacking. But the problem now is whether the fight will be carried out?
Because as far as I know Bivol is a boxer from Russia, whereas nowadays many Russian athletes are banned from participating in many sports due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 04, 2022, 12:04:38 PM
Colby is a talented fighter and I respect what he can do in the cage, but I'm not a fan of his snitch antics where he airs everyone's dirty laundry.

Everyone knows colby well, because in my opinion apart from McGregor, colby is a fighter who often makes a mess of every word he says, so far colby has often been criticized for his words that often divide fellow fighters and UFC fans around the world.
But despite his bad behavior I hope the fight against Masvidal later will be an interesting and full angry fight, I also don't really like Masvidal, but hope that Masvidal can silence Colby's mouth later in the UFC 272 fight.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gonzalez vs Martinez on: March 04, 2022, 11:49:24 AM
For those who are interested to hear and see the two fighters in their final press conference:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umG3hY9tBLE

Gonzalez is very happy and excited that the fight will push through and have a good replacement in Martinez because he is unpredictable. While Martinez will have a chance to break into this division with a fight against the legendary fighter.

Martinez who is Estrada substitute opponent, is likely to use this fight as a shortcut to further improve his career, even though he is still young, Martinez is a boxer who is quite talented and of course Gonzales cannot underestimate him.
I think this age gap fight will be an amazing fight and I think I will enjoy the fight.
